Water & Amusement Parks
Aqualand Fréjus is the ultimate aquatic paradise on the Cote d'Azur, offering a perfect blend of entertainment and relaxation. With 19 attractions suitable for all ages, from thrilling experiences to leisure areas and dedicated children's spaces, there's something for everyone. Visitors can immerse themselves in adventure with exhilarating rides, brave the waves in the wave pool, or experience an adrenaline rush on giant slides.
Excellent waterpark - one of the better ones we have visited in Europe. Not too big or small and plenty 9f variety in the slides and pools. Food is outrageously expensive - €4.10 for one bottle of coke. Bring your own food and you will be fine.
Bruce W — Google review
Good park, very busy, we went on a Thursday in summer. Slides are nice, but only 2 are really awesome. Long queues, so fast pass is almost needed an day like this. We brought our own food, it's allowed, decently priced drinks.
Pieter T — Google review
The park is nice. Enough parking lots, well maintained, slides are OK, queues are reasonable without fast pass (except two biggest ones). My three kids had a happy times there. But the attitude is terrible. Half an hour before closure security guards are pushing you to leave faster, very few staff speaks English or any other language. And my favourite - I have paid 150+ euros for 5 entry tickets and one lunch (euro 15). The food court that serves prepaid food was closed at 15:10 when I went there to get my lunch. No signes, nothing. Other food courts didn’t accept my QR code. I wrote an email to them afterwards and got a response that this food courts works between 11 and 15:30 that was never mentioned at the time of purchasing the tickets. They behave very cheap by declining my request to make a return of 15 euros. Cheap crooks in OK water park :(
Yevgeniy S — Google review
Great park. Super nice during end of season once the kids were back to school, as there were zero lines. Only complaint is they nickel and dime you at every opportunity. Parking: £4…Locker: £7 Beach chair: £4. My 5 year olds were just a few inches short to ride any of the slides, but there were 2 kiddy parks, a lazy river and a large pool they could use which was enough for them. Will definitely come back.
Justin L — Google review
Good waterpark, the kids had a great time all day and we felt they were safe. We hired the sun-loungers in the VIP area for €40 and it was worth the money. Longest wait for a ride was 1 hour and we didnt bother with fast passes as they were very expensive. Family of 6.
James H — Google review
Been there many times before. Some queuing always happened but this year was the worst ever! We were able to go on three rides in an entire day of being there and queued for hours. It works out at €10 per ride unless you are prepared to pay the extortionate extra of€30 per person for a fast pass. This would bring the entry cost per person to €57. That is too steep and just reeks of greediness. The introduction of the ‘fast pass’ has lead to excessive wait times and is just another sign of how big corporations exploit people. We will certainly never return after this disaster of a day.
S G — Google review
Bigger and better rides than the nearby St Maxime site. (which was our first choice when taking children under 10. The Frejus site is now our first choice as the kids are old enough to go off by themselves. The kids love it, we now go every year. Food and Drink is expensive though, we normally pack drinks and sandwiches which they are happy to let in. There does seem to be an issue with hard case cool boxes, we’ve never had an issue with material cool boxes.
Steven O — Google review
Get the fast pass! You'll regret it other wise. The two main rides (Vertigo and the Serpent) are very popular and you'll have to wait for 1-2 hours in line. Other than that all the rides are great!

Catholic cathedral
Sights & Landmarks
Frejus Cathedral is a medieval Roman Catholic church known for its Gothic architecture and intricate carvings. The cathedral's cloister boasts rare 14th- and 15th-century painted wooden ceiling panels depicting various scenes in vivid detail. Additionally, visitors can explore the well-preserved octagonal 5th-century baptistery, featuring Roman columns. Part of the larger Cite Episcopale complex, the cathedral stands out with its cube-shaped tower.
Very old, beautiful cathedral. Do not miss one of France’s oldest baptisteries from around 500 (the other is in Aix-e-P), immediately at the left from the street entry, before entering the cathedral. On Mondays you cannot visit the adjacent cloister.
Pedro P — Google review
Beautiful cathedral in the heart of the old town. Was fortunate enough to catch a wedding while we enjoyed a beers in the square
Bruce W — Google review
The cathedral and cloister have a very rich history and are definitely worth a visit. Entrance to the cathedral is free, but you'll need to buy a ticket to access the cloister (6 euro per adult). I recommend to watch the video which plays in one of the cloister rooms to understand the marvellous woodwork and paintings. Don't expect a large museum, it's quite small and you'll probably won't spend more than 30 minutes, unless you want to study each and every wood painting.
Matthijs K — Google review
Unique painting in the abbaye, you can't miss that one if you are around

We arrived at A Tavola Con L'Italia during lunchtime and found ourselves as the only customers initially, although the situation soon changed. The attentive lady serving us endured my limited French skills with patience. The cuisine was delectable and the service was top-notch. I highly suggest this establishment for a delightful meal accompanied by warm and amiable assistance. We intend to return in the future.
We had a very nice lunch, we all were very happy with our choice of pasta. Unfortunately we were late for Tiramisu but the blueberry pie was a good alternative. All served in a pleasant atmosphere.
Frank — Google review
Osso Buco with tagliatelle was good; however, the caponata — rather bad (overly fried, sour and oily), so I didn’t even eat it. They didn’t care, and kept it on the bill. The service was very slow with less than half the tables occupied (15 mins to get the menu!, 15 more to get the dishes), and not particularly friendly. Atmosphere is OK: it’s next to a roundabout, so rather noisy on the terrace.
Дмитрий — Google review
The food was some of the most authentic and delicious Italian food that we’ve had anywhere in France! (In my opinion as an Italian with a passion for food)! Staff were also very friendly.
Dom A — Google review
Had a fabulous meal - the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The homemade pasta outstanding. Without doubt the best restaurant we have been to in Frejus in our 13th year! The owners were a delight and so accommodating.
Michael F — Google review
We have been waved away from this restaurant tonight in a rather discriminatory manner. After we waited several minutes to see if a table was free the lady continued her work without greeting us. After she finally found time to help us, looking at us and answerded with "yes?" in a antisocial way. They heard we were tourists and were told everything was reserved. No one was sitting inside and a few tables outside which were occupied. Clearly the tourist is not wanted at this restaurant. To all non french people, I would suggest stay away from this restaurant.
P — Google review
We went here just at the start of lunch. We were the only ones in the restuarant at the time. (It soon changed). The lovely lady was very attentive and suffered through our very new French. The food was delicious and the service excellent. I highly recommend this place for a great meal and very friendly service. Will be back again. On another note this staff works very hard. I believe they are family but I do not know that for a fact. Very fun.
B B — Google review
Very friendly stuff, quality food and nice atmosphere. They make you feel welcome and take their time to explain their dishes, or additional questions. A small family restaurant where we will be always happy to come back!

Nestled along the scenic N7, just a stone's throw from Cannes, Clos des Roses vineyard is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience amidst lush vines and rolling hills. The restaurant boasts a delightful menu crafted with fresh ingredients, making it perfect for those who appreciate fine cuisine paired with exquisite wines. Guests can indulge in generous portions of flavorful dishes while enjoying the serene ambiance, whether seated indoors or outdoors.
A beautiful experience. We opted for the self-guided tour of the garden, the vineyard, the chapel, and the cave. It ended with a tasting of 4 wines! All very delicious. Highly recommend this winery if you are in the area and love wine 🍷
Melissa B — Google review
Had an amazing stay at Clos des Roses, greeted warmly by the staff who were attentive and welcoming. I booked through Groupon and upgraded the room, though I was frequently reminded of our Groupon status. The room and food were fantastic, but service overall was extremely disappointing. We had to beg for attention to order more wine, the menu wasn’t explained, and we waited over an hour for a refill. One female staff member repeatedly took our requests but then disappeared without fulfilling them. The following morning, we were greeted unwelcomingly. The host rolled her eyes at simple requests like tea and jam. When I requested an iron, two staff members brought it up without greeting us and made the exchange without any courtesy. While language might have been a barrier, I made sure to express my gratitude politely, but I still felt that my requests were treated as burdens. Overall, the location, food, and facilities were excellent, but most of the staff were moody, rude, and unwelcoming. I'm open to discussing this experience with management.
Ashley M — Google review
Badest wine tour I ever did! To much people, said nothing about the wine how it’s made what kind of grapes,… then the tasting 1white, 1rosé and 1red all in the same glass and again to much people so no information again about the wine because it was to loud inside. They promise a 2 hour tour but in 45min it was over. Just a big tourist trap! Restaurant was very good! Friendly employees and great food!

This afternoon we enjoyed our lunch. We chose to have lunch on the spacious terrace, and it was no problem bringing our dog along. She was immediately given a bowl of water. There was a wide selection of wines, but we opted for the wine from their own vineyard (Rolle grape), which was superb. We had a charcuterie board, very tasty, although the toast that came with it was a bit tough, but there was also bread, so no problem. For the main course, we had the veal dish and the lamb. Both were very tasty, generous portions. For dessert, we had the cheese board. It was so large that my husband couldn't finish it, but it was no problem to have it packed up. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.
Toeti B — Google review
Great food and lovely service. Setting is beautiful. Only negative points were that it was very noisy on the terrace due to a very noisy industrial aircon. Also beware to check the bill. They try to charge us 2 times for the wine, water and coffee.
David V — Google review
Restaurant setting was lovely. However service was very poor, pretty dismissive attitude - perhaps due to us being tourists., Had to ask twice for different glasses when we changed from white to red, had to get up and pour our own wine from cooler. Forgot juices for the kids. Waitress made a sarcastic remark when one of our children was exiting to the garden and was in her way - entirely unnecessary. Fillet steak was good, “sea and land” main course and anchovies starter were not great
Joe H — Google review
The restaurant: amazing food, very high quality restaurant overall & peaceful ambiance. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Kind staff, some spoke English but not all (nonetheless they were very nice!) The tasting room: the server was incredible. She was sweet, kind and knowledgeable. Reasonable prices and air conditioned room. Access to the wine cellar- which was fun to see. Very quiet and peaceful experience. Bottles for purchase are available. The wine tour (we did the self guided tour) was so gorgeous. They have a rose garden and chapel. Very fun to walk around and explore the beautiful destination of Clos des Roses.

Tasty food and a nice setting. A problem with wasps meant we had to move inside. However despite spending €220 on dinner (2 adults, 1 child) plus an additional €30 on a bottle of wine at the cave, we felt the service a bit disinterested. We weren't even sure whether our taxi had been ordered at the end of our meal. Experience would be different in our country at this level.

Nestled in the picturesque region of Provence, La Bastide du Clos des Roses offers a serene escape on a charming wine estate. Just a short drive from Frejus, this delightful hotel features relaxed accommodations that invite you to unwind. Guests can indulge in Mediterranean dining at the on-site restaurant, where seasonal and locally sourced ingredients shine through in every dish crafted by the talented chef.
À beautiful setting with a fabulous restaurant. We enjoyed the prix fixe lunch at €43 which was excellent value for money. We would highly recommend having a wine tasting followed by lunch in either the very elegant restaurant or outside under the plane trees on the terrace.

I had a horrible experience at this hotel. First, the bed was dirty. The sheets, pillows, and mattress had stains, and there were multiple hairs on the mattress cover. We asked the staff to clean the bedroom and while they were cleaning, we decided to wait by the pool. There was an unprotected hole next to the pool, which was covered by a thin cover. As I walked on it, the cover broke, and I fell into it. My shoes and clothes got all dirty. We complained to the manager and he was so rude. Not only did he not apologize, but he also didn't refund us for the room. We ended up leaving the hotel on the same day and only got our money back. We didn't receive any sort of compensation for the poor experience we had. Poor customer service and awful condition at the hotel. Response to the owner: Your response is totally in line with my comment about poor customer service. I just want to add two comments so that your future customers can have a better understanding of health and safety conditions and customer service at your hotel. The unprotected hole was located right next to the pool, not at an unlikely spot on the other end of the pool (photo is attached), and there was no singanage about a possible hazard. You tried to wash my shoes and you mentioned that you did your best and shoes didn't get cleaned. Apparently, you didn't try washing it appropriately as my next hotel was able to completely clean the shoe. Reimbursement for my brand new shoes is not costumer service. The customer service is following regulations so that an incident like this doesn't happen in the first place. I don't need to add more, as your management and your comments are reflective of the quality of service you offer.

This was the finest experience we enjoyed in France. The food was exceptional, the wine… even better. The staff was so nice, especially Freddy, she is incredible, she was the kindest and most sincere person. I cannot wait to come back. The moment we sat down for lunch we did not ant to leave, so we stayed! This winery, vineyard and hotel is a special place that I hope to return to very soon.
Chase M — Google review
Owner is terrible and very rude. Our room was dirty and they told us to wait outside by the pool to get the room cleaned. There was a hole full of dirty water by the pool with no attention sign or anything to cover it properly, and my partner fell into it. The owner did not care and just wanted to explain that it's never happened before but he didn't even care to come see us. Just a phone call. It's a shame because the location is actually very good. But the service is terrible and the room is also dirty.

La table de Guillôme at the Hotel l’Arena is a charming restaurant located within the Hotel l’Arena. The setting is delightful, featuring a swimming pool and a lovely terrace surrounded by trees, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The chefs at La table de Guillôme offer creative and authentic Provencal cuisine, with dishes like Aioli du vendredi, bourride, zucchini flowers, and petits farcis that are must-tries.
Very charming backyard restaurant with excellent service. We had some language issues, but they seemed genuinely interested in interpretation our non-French wishes. Picky kids were served tender chicken and fries. We got very nice fish dishes, and was not disappointed- but given to the generally excellent cuisine in the region, and the price, our expectations were perhaps too high. Highly recommended, no matter.

Nice view. That’s it. Service was very slow. I’ve asked a snack plate for one person but they only serve for two. What’s fine. So I had just a few pieces of cheese and asked the rest of the plate to take away but they told me they can’t. Weird. That’s what left…

Fabulous balcony bar with comfortable seating and marvellous views over the marina and beyond. The casino itself is quite small with a large restaurant and small bar inside. The staff were very welcoming and happy to sign us up with an access card on the presentation of passports, and a complimentary glass of Champagne. This will give us access to all Barriere casinos!

Wanted to experience the casino. You know… « I’m on the French Riviera, (which conjures images in your mind), will go to the riviera casino (had the same issue with needing a passport to enter (valid identification, an European driving licence should be adequate) I don’t like to carry my passport out and about with me. Very nice lady on the bar, filled my empty water bottle for me. By then I’m inside, (couple of days later), and I wish to use les toilettes. Ugh 🤮 the toilets were filthy. There are 2 toilets available, one is supposed to be wheelchair accessible, that is not well enough equipped for anyone in a wheelchair. No lids on the toilets, no soap in the dispensers, all sorts of yeuch in the toilet bowl. So I didn’t feel inclined to use them. On the way out, I told the girl behind the desk, that they needed attention, but she « no speak any English » Very very disappointed I ended up going to McDonald’s
Kiwi57ie — Google review
Wanted to enjoy an hour or so of the casino. Originally walked by and tried to go in and they mentioned about having ID - fair enough (I mean I am pushing 30, over 10 years above the legal age but I do understand) went back to our hotel to grab some ID. Went back with a valid UK driving license (aka the same ID that will get you into anywhere everywhere else in the world) for the rude bouncers to turn it away and state we had to have a passport? Sorry didn’t realise it was border control standards for an average at best casino.
