Aqualand Fréjus is the ultimate aquatic paradise on the Cote d'Azur, offering a perfect blend of entertainment and relaxation. With 19 attractions suitable for all ages, from thrilling experiences to leisure areas and dedicated children's spaces, there's something for everyone. Visitors can immerse themselves in adventure with exhilarating rides, brave the waves in the wave pool, or experience an adrenaline rush on giant slides.
Excellent waterpark - one of the better ones we have visited in Europe. Not too big or small and plenty 9f variety in the slides and pools. Food is outrageously expensive - €4.10 for one bottle of coke. Bring your own food and you will be fine.
Bruce W — Google review
Good park, very busy, we went on a Thursday in summer. Slides are nice, but only 2 are really awesome. Long queues, so fast pass is almost needed an day like this. We brought our own food, it's allowed, decently priced drinks.
Pieter T — Google review
The park is nice. Enough parking lots, well maintained, slides are OK, queues are reasonable without fast pass (except two biggest ones). My three kids had a happy times there. But the attitude is terrible. Half an hour before closure security guards are pushing you to leave faster, very few staff speaks English or any other language. And my favourite - I have paid 150+ euros for 5 entry tickets and one lunch (euro 15). The food court that serves prepaid food was closed at 15:10 when I went there to get my lunch. No signes, nothing. Other food courts didn’t accept my QR code. I wrote an email to them afterwards and got a response that this food courts works between 11 and 15:30 that was never mentioned at the time of purchasing the tickets. They behave very cheap by declining my request to make a return of 15 euros. Cheap crooks in OK water park :(
Yevgeniy S — Google review
Great park. Super nice during end of season once the kids were back to school, as there were zero lines. Only complaint is they nickel and dime you at every opportunity. Parking: £4…Locker: £7 Beach chair: £4. My 5 year olds were just a few inches short to ride any of the slides, but there were 2 kiddy parks, a lazy river and a large pool they could use which was enough for them. Will definitely come back.
Justin L — Google review
Good waterpark, the kids had a great time all day and we felt they were safe. We hired the sun-loungers in the VIP area for €40 and it was worth the money. Longest wait for a ride was 1 hour and we didnt bother with fast passes as they were very expensive. Family of 6.
James H — Google review
Been there many times before. Some queuing always happened but this year was the worst ever! We were able to go on three rides in an entire day of being there and queued for hours. It works out at €10 per ride unless you are prepared to pay the extortionate extra of€30 per person for a fast pass. This would bring the entry cost per person to €57. That is too steep and just reeks of greediness. The introduction of the ‘fast pass’ has lead to excessive wait times and is just another sign of how big corporations exploit people. We will certainly never return after this disaster of a day.
S G — Google review
Bigger and better rides than the nearby St Maxime site. (which was our first choice when taking children under 10. The Frejus site is now our first choice as the kids are old enough to go off by themselves. The kids love it, we now go every year. Food and Drink is expensive though, we normally pack drinks and sandwiches which they are happy to let in. There does seem to be an issue with hard case cool boxes, we’ve never had an issue with material cool boxes.
Steven O — Google review
Get the fast pass! You'll regret it other wise. The two main rides (Vertigo and the Serpent) are very popular and you'll have to wait for 1-2 hours in line. Other than that all the rides are great!

Catholic church
Frejus Cathedral is a medieval Roman Catholic church known for its Gothic architecture and intricate carvings. The cathedral's cloister boasts rare 14th- and 15th-century painted wooden ceiling panels depicting various scenes in vivid detail. Additionally, visitors can explore the well-preserved octagonal 5th-century baptistery, featuring Roman columns. Part of the larger Cite Episcopale complex, the cathedral stands out with its cube-shaped tower.
Very old, beautiful cathedral. Do not miss one of France’s oldest baptisteries from around 500 (the other is in Aix-e-P), immediately at the left from the street entry, before entering the cathedral. On Mondays you cannot visit the adjacent cloister.
Pedro P — Google review
Beautiful cathedral in the heart of the old town. Was fortunate enough to catch a wedding while we enjoyed a beers in the square
Bruce W — Google review
The cathedral and cloister have a very rich history and are definitely worth a visit. Entrance to the cathedral is free, but you'll need to buy a ticket to access the cloister (6 euro per adult). I recommend to watch the video which plays in one of the cloister rooms to understand the marvellous woodwork and paintings. Don't expect a large museum, it's quite small and you'll probably won't spend more than 30 minutes, unless you want to study each and every wood painting.

Specialty Museums
Musée archéologique is a small but remarkable museum located near the Cloitre de la cathedrale. It houses well-preserved Roman artifacts such as pottery, statuary, and a famous Roman floor mosaic. The lower level showcases Roman tombs. Visitors appreciate the climate-controlled environment, especially on hot days. The museum also features a two-headed hermes and informative models, making it accessible to everyone.
A hidden-gem of a museum, conveniently situated around the corner from its more famous neighbor, the Cloître de la cathédrale. While somewhat small, the museum hosts very well preserved Roman pottery pieces, statuary, and the oft-mentioned Roman floor mosaic. The downstairs portion features Roman tombs. Pro-tip: the museum is climate controlled! We were there on a 98F/36C day and were happy to stay a little longer to soak in the cool air. The docent even put up with our terrible French. Well worth a 45-minute deviation from the more trafficked Frejus landmarks.
Chris W — Google review
Take a look at this small museum while visiting Frejus cathedral, it's just next door. Very kind and helpful staff, interesting model of the ancient city of Frejus
Petite P — Google review
It is impressive that the city sponsors such a museum but the content is quite limited and rather "heavy" to absorb: big displays with a lot of text, lower-quality reproductions of Roman rooms and a few pieces of statues. The only highlight for me was the mosaic of the panther.

Nice park, with a lot of different attractions, for children as well for adults. We enjoyed it. The attraction cost is from 5 to 7€ for a ride per person, only the Skyrider is 30€ for a ride/person. I really liked the magic mountain rollercoaster. I bought several tickets. It was not crowded like in other amusement parks. we were there around 22.30. The food was really good, I ate a kebab. Car parking and entrance are free.

We. Old get on all the rides quickly and the kids loved it. Make sure you have the discount ride tickets from super markets or travel office. Around 5 euros a ride which isn’t crazy. Worth a visit for sure
Jon D — Google review
This is ok bring plenty of cash. Lots of prize games to play and some good rides. The catapult and human pipeline is probably the highlight. Plenty of food stalls around if your looking for somewhere to eat. Some of the rides were not operating when we were there. Not sure why. My 7yr old twin boys enjoyed it
Kim E — Google review
Adorable – negative reviews reflect people’s (may be skewed )perceptions of what a habitat should be. So, no the African animals did not have a sprawling savanna to gambol about in, but they seemed healthy and well fed enough. The little farm/petting zoo area replete with goats was a big hit for our disabled son and so many of the kids who seemed to be enjoying it so much. This was also small enough that you can have a nice time in a few hours not feeling terribly worn out. We opted for an annual membership!
Nicholas M — Google review
This place is a lot bigger and nicer compared to what is was like 35 years ago. We went on a Sunday in August and there were lots of people. It was nice for me to see how much this place has evolved over the years (in a positive direction.)
Ann S — Google review
It was a great place to visit. We ware there in the beginning of the evening and there is a big carpark. At 20:00 they open and have great security. We already ate but it was a pitty because the food they serve smelled amazing! Its a nice place to go, we and the kids had great fun!

Pretty good place, bit rough and ready and the bouncy castles are quite rough material to slide in and definitely give you a burn!!worst thing though is definitely the mosquitos, very bad here for some reason....still worth going to and the Finland for a tenner for smaller kids is good value
Alaric C — Google review
I visited Luna Park Fréjus last night with my family, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience — particularly at the caisse centrale where we purchased bracelets for the kids and tokens for the games. While the lady at the counter was friendly and welcoming to the customers before us, her behavior toward us was quite the opposite. She gave us a cold, disrespectful look and spoke in a very dismissive tone. It felt like we were being treated differently, possibly because of our ethnicity and the fact that we don’t speak French very well. What hurt us the most was hearing her mock us to another Luna Park staff member in the cashier after we had completed our purchase and walked away. This was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful. We came to enjoy a fun family evening, but instead we left feeling judged and humiliated. I truly hope the park management takes this seriously — everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, no matter where they come from or what language they speak

The Saint-Raphael Archaeological museum showcases a variety of historical findings ranging from prehistoric artifacts to Roman excavations and medieval catacombs. Despite its unassuming exterior, the museum offers a wealth of fascinating exhibits and is definitely worth visiting. Visitors can even climb the bell tower for stunning views of the town, seaside, and hills. The exhibits are well explained (mainly in French) with lovely settings that include an iconic garden.
The "Mythologies" exhibition in Saint-Raphaël is a true gem. For just 3€ per adult, you can explore two fascinating locations that bring ancient legends to life in a fresh, engaging way. Each space invites you to step into the world of gods and heroes, sparking your imagination and offering a unique cultural experience. It’s an easy walk from the town center, making it a perfect stop during your visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the blend of art and history—definitely worth the visit!
Matthieu A — Google review
Easy to miss this free gem but well worth the visit. Well laid out and some English language guides otherwise my phone translated the rest. The church is amazing as you can see the development from the fifth century to the twelfth like a cut away drawing. View from the tower worth the climb.
Jeremy L — Google review
Visited this hidden gem on a Thursday in August while staying in Saint Raphael at a nearby air BNB. The museum was recommended in the guide from tourist office and definitely did not disappoint. The museum exhibitions ranged from paleolithic history to modern day diving. The only downside was that the only English text was a fairly short visitor booklet, but you can't expect everything to be spoonfed. Furthermore, the church tower and crypts were amazing with good views from the top and an amazing insight into the older church beneath the modern day church. I particularly liked the archaeological gardens showing the history of plants in the area in terms of their introductions and use in medicine. If you are staying in Saint Raphael or just visiting for a day this free experience is definitely worth your time.
Mackenzie R — Google review
Wonderful museum with the best view in St Raphael. The museum is archaeological in nature, but has a really cool scuba diving history exhibit as well as WW2 exhibit. Completely free. You can go through the whole museum in as little as 30 minutes. We spent about an hour

Great museum - so pleased we stopped off on our way back from the beach. Very interesting temporary exhibition and great permanent galleries. Modern, quiet and nicely laid out. As another reviewer said, entry is free and it’s air conditioned which was very welcome! Ignore the last 1 star review complaining about the exhibition text being in French - we’re in France - what do you expect?!

I was visiting 13th of august 2024. We are in Fréjus because of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the landings “operation Dragoon” at Cap Dramont. We learned that the musée des troupes de Marine had made a temporary exhibition and we were very interested. To our very big disappointement not a word in english. So if you don’t understand french it is not worth the visit. And remark that the 36 regiment from Texas US are invited to the commemoration at cap Dramont. No need for them to visit Fréjus. :-( ( There was no internet reception so could not use Google translate)

Aqueduc is a historical site in France that boasts various ruins dating back to the time of Augustus and Caesar. Among these ruins, the Roman aqueduct stands out as a remarkable testament to ancient engineering. Built in the 1st century, this aqueduct spanned an impressive 42 kilometers with 36 arches and supplied water to the town from Mons and Montaroux for over 400 years.
A must visit historical place , next to park where you can do small picnic or rest as well. not far from centre Ville. You can go by feet and in 6 minutes you’re there.
Travelling H — Google review
Not much of the aqueduct is left, but the park offers a nice place to sit and relax on a bench. It’s within easy walking distance of the old town centre. You can also park accross the street. The aqueduct was built around the 1st century and originally 42 km long. There are other sections of the aqueduct that are still intact.

Peaceful and beautiful surrounding with history. There’s a park attached where people walk their dog, sit and relax.
Wendy L — Google review
Unfortunately the place is not well conserved, as only ruins remain today, and there is very little effort in showing them or explaining the part they used to play in the past.

Interesting ruins if you are there by chance...

I'm a history nerd and I loved it. The whole town has ruins to discover and appreciate. I recommend walking around from the parking lot at this location. There's another close by with even more intact aqueduct ruins.

Plage de Saint-Aygulf is a spacious beach located about 4km west of the port, offering a relaxing day by the sea. The beach features shallow waters and fine sand, making it ideal for families with young children. It is equipped with amenities such as parking, showers, toilets, and a beach bar. Additionally, the area's exposure to wind makes it popular for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Love this beach, I dream of it when I'm back in Bavaria! Perfect sand, laid back, great parking, toilets available and small cafes if you need a snack. Palm trees give some protection but for a day at the beach a parasol or beach tent is advisable. The water is perfect and shallow enough for little ones to have fun!
Vincent B — Google review
It is the safest cleanest beach. Perfect for young families and older people.

Great public beach! I remember it from 20 years ago and not much has changed. Clean soft sand and clean water. A couple of public showers are available. Public bathroom was out of order though. The paid parking spots are filled fast during peak season. A couple of palm tress but very little shade - umbrella is recommended. Alternatively theres a private area where you can rent beach chairs with umbrellas. The beach gets pretty crowded on nice days.

Park
Parc Zoologique de Fréjus is a long-standing zoo featuring diverse habitats for mammals, birds, and reptiles. Despite some outdated infrastructure and small enclosures for certain animals, the zoo is making efforts to improve accommodations. Visitors can purchase food to feed the animals and observe their healthy and relaxed demeanor. The zoo offers convenient parking and opportunities for interactive experiences such as feeding the hippos during the day.
One of the best zoo! It ws realy nice to feed the animals.
Galina I — Google review
Little zoo but putted a lot of animals on. When you see the commercial of the new part opening with farm animals, dont expect to much of it. Money should be better invested in the rest of the zoo. Snack was nice to have in the middle of the walk. Little new play ground was nice made.
Anissa S — Google review
Absolutely disgraceful. The area is run down and the animals are clearly mistreated. They are lethargic and have small enclosures and no access to clean food and water. The male lion is covered in a fly infestation and the hippos are left to swim in a puddle of stagnant water. This needs to be shut down immediately as it is just animal abuse.
Alice B — Google review
Animals look good and healthy eventhough cages are in not the best stage of their live. It is a fun place with kids, but roads are very bumpy. Overall had fun.
Paul H — Google review
Convenient parking. The child will be interested. During the day, you can get to feed the hippos. Very old territory. Entrance for an adult is 18€.

Nice zoo. Although it look old but all animals seem well take care and seems nature. This zoo is very nice for my 2 little daughters (3 and 5 years old). They enjoy with all animals there. We spends 2 hours there Very recommended & ' Do not forget to buy food for animals' . Animals will love it and kids also. We will try to visit them again 😁
Vasakorn B — Google review
Fantastic experience! The zoo has so many animals! We bought some food and fed them. We were also lucky to see hippos very close. There's a lot of places to have a snack too. And they have some small attractions for children. The zoo is really big, we've spent the whole evening there and it was not enough. We were with our 1 year old baby, and he was so happy! We really recommend the zoo!
Lydia B — Google review
This 'Zoo' has been totally enclosed by the surrounding zone commercial. The zoo has a selection of animals. Their biggest attraction is a selection of big cats, ranging from the Serval Cat to three lions and 5 Tigers. Besides that there are several savanne animals, lots of different sheep and goats. The terrarium have a few snakes, but most are empty. In summary their are 40 mammals, 35 birds and 8 kinds of reptiles. The parc has been build in 1971 on 16 hectares in Fréjus. Initially it had been designed for usages by car and on foot. As of 2020 it is not possible to visit the Parc by car. In 2009 new animals arrived from the Zoo at Cap Ferrât and the Parc has grown 5 hectares up to 20 in total. But most animals are not in their natural biome and I find it difficult to believe that this Zoo can continue to exist like this.

Wow this place is absolutely incredible. The lamb shank is, without a doubt, the most flavourful shank I've ever had! The sauce was so rich and delicious and the portion was very generous. My fiancé had the bouillabaisse which again was incredible and filling. The lady serving us was very friendly and full of zest and helped us translate some of the menu with no problem. We didn't reserve because it was a Monday but I think we were very lucky! We went at 1930 and after us they only let one more couple in and then they were turning people down all night so I'd definitely recommend reserving or turning up early during the week. The only downside is the service was very very slow with just the one server for the whole restaurant of about 30 diners. Not sure if this was a one-off but be prepared to take your time there. We didn't mind while we had drinks but it got a bit frustrating towards the end when we wanted to leave. I would have had a dessert but we waited 30 mins without being seen to so we just asked for the bill so we could go. Having said all that, the entire experience and quality of the food makes up for it and it still warrants 5 stars. I'd definitely go back!

Nestled in the heart of Fréjus, the Cloître de la Cathédrale de Fréjus is a stunning historical gem that dates back to the 5th century. This magnificent two-story cloister was constructed at the center of an ancient city founded by Julius Caesar, making it a captivating stop for history enthusiasts. While it may not boast an extensive array of exhibits, its well-preserved architecture and serene ambiance offer visitors a delightful experience.
One of my most exciting discoveries in the region. The ceiling of this small, 14th century monastery is decorates with small painted wooden elements showing scenes from everyday life, religion and imaginary beings. There is a short video played in of the side rooms that explains about these, I highly recommend to start with that as there is no other explanation given and might be hard to understand what you see there. Also visit the church with 5th centiry baptistry!
Eniko G — Google review
The cloister was very interesting, but considering the 6€ of ticket, the people working there could be more attentive... For example, saying than in a few minutes an included explanation would start... Our experience was seeing by ourselves the cloister and when we were interested in the baptistery, then the guy said to us "run because my colleague is about to finish her explanation there" and when we arrived, we were quite ignored. Curiously, she was the same to sell us the tickets. Sincerely, you can go for free to the cathedral and see the baptistery from a glass door (paying or not). We understand that the cloister's gem needs maintenance and they make us pay a ticket, but I am not sure if that price is worthy.

I have never left a Google review before but felt compelled to do so regarding the Frejus Office of Tourism. Before we arrived from Florida, the staff was responsive and helpful in answering the many questions I had about the city. Once we arrived, Jimmy did a wonderful job of introducing us to Frejus and providing valuable input regarding notable places to visit, restaurants to consider, and more. But to top everything off, the tour that Jeremy took us on to the fish ponds, cathedral, archeological museum, etc. was perfect. I had signed us up for several of the office's tours, but didn't realize they would be in French. So we said our "au revoirs" early and got on with our day. Several days later, Jimmy called me to arrange a personal tour for me and my wife. During the tour that included just the three of us, Jeremy provided a number of insights into Frejus' past and present and answered all our questions. Though his English was not perfect, he communicated extremely well with us along the way. What a valuable way to spend a morning! I could not recommend the office of tourism more as well as its delightful staff. 10 thumbs up! Well done.

Barrage de Malpasset is a historical landmark that stands as an impressive testament to the power of nature. The concrete arch dam ruptured in 1959, leading to a catastrophic flood that claimed many lives. The site features massive concrete blocks with reinforced steel beams scattered across the valley. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the dam on foot from the parking lot, and another 10 minutes to continue along the trail towards the lake.
Beautiful surreal landscape and ruins given the tragedy of 1959, well worth a visit, free car park, not many humans there on a Monday morning even though extremely hot

Impressive landmark which shows the sheer power of the water when the dam burst in 1959. Massive concrete blocks with reinforced steel beams are shattered across the valley. From the parking lot it will take you about 20 minutes to reach the dam (walking) and another 10 to continue the trail towards the lake. Don't forget to bring some water, there is not a lot of shade around the trail and summer temperatures can be high.

Amusement park
Fun City is a great amusement park for children, although it can be a bit noisy, which is understandable considering how enthusiastic kids are. It would be beneficial if there was a more comfortable space for parents. However, the staff is very friendly and overall enjoyable. The park offers plenty of fun activities for children to engage in, prioritizing their enjoyment above all else.
(Translated by Google) Very good for children A little noisy (but that's normal, the children are really into it...) Lack of a small, more comfortable space for parents ;) Otherwise, very friendly staff. (Original) Très bien pour les enfants Un peu bruyant (mais c'est normal les enfants sont a fonds ...) Manque un petit espace plus confortable pour les parents ;) Sinon personnelles très sympathique.

(Translated by Google) This was our first time at.Fun City. This air-conditioned space is well thought out and welcoming (although, of course, very noisy). The facilities are clean - the obligation to wear socks also has something to do with it - and suitable for all ages. The part reserved for 1-3 year olds is not very big but is already very nice for little ones. In addition to the net activity structures, there is an inflatable structure and other ancillary games (for a fee) such as table football, a small go-kart circuit and bowling alley... You can eat there, have snacks, the prices are high! We have not tested. In a few words, the place is well suited to very hot or rainy days. The entrance fee is somewhat high (9€ excluding discount and 7€ Cos Méditerranée rate, 6€ for children under 3 years old) but justified by the infrastructure.

(Translated by Google) Reasonable price but should be adapted depending on arrival time. For example, if you arrive two or three hours before closing, it’s still full price. Smiling, pleasant staff with a lot of courage... The children have a great time, the diversity of games is one of the strong points of the place. Beyond that, remove the ashtray from in front of the entrance, especially in a place where there will inevitably be children passing through. For information, parking is free.

(Translated by Google) It's fun, for little ones, it's a must-visit place on rainy days. But actually when the weather is nice, there are better things to do because you will be amazed. Fortunately, the room is air-conditioned and there is always a way to enjoy a good cappuccino or good pancakes. And to top it all off, the staff are adorable with the children... And with the parents. And that’s cool! (Original) C'est fun, pour les petits, c'est un lieu incontournable les jours de pluie. Mais effectivement quand il fait beau, il y a mieux à faire car vous allez en prendre plein les oreilles. (Translated by Google) I do not recommend it to all parents who have small children. In fact, the area reserved for babies is always frequented by older children, my 12 month old twins couldn't even move from their little corner and get hit from time to time. of course no reception and no surveillance. The Memorial War in Indochina stands as a poignant tribute to those who lost their lives during the tumultuous period of the Indochina War, which spanned from 1939 to 1956. Nestled in a serene, wooded area, this memorial offers visitors a space for reflection and contemplation. It serves not only as a reminder of the tragic loss of life but also as an educational resource that sheds light on this often-overlooked chapter in history.

On the ground floor and upper floor, names, religious affiliations, and thanksgivings are displayed, leaving you simply moved to see so many victims of this forgotten war.
