Wonderful, natural animal park. Beautifully laid out, partly in the forest. The entire animal park can be visited via a circular route. The park is well maintained, clean and the information (in German) about the animals and the park is very well presented. A playground next to the restaurant invites children to play. With a bit of luck you will see the wolves.

Free entry. Great for families, groups, singles, couples and everyone who loves nature and animals. The park can be reached by car, bus or various nice walking tracks. Thanks to everyone for maintaining the park. Great work 👍

Easy to access with the bus 12 on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Free entrance. Little hidden gem with wold, lynx, wissent( European buffalo) deer, wildboar, perzewaslki horse, mufflon... There is an awesome playground, restaurant, and barbecue spot. It's nice to stroll around read all the interesting information about the animal or plants or check out the minishort "Windelwanderweg". Right now Sonderausstellung about " Gefährliche Tiere".

Very nice place to spend the day with the family and children. Unfortunately we did not see the lynx this time. The wolf was also capricious, but we go there every time a huge pleasure. The children love the playground and the restaurant is a bit expensive but delicious.

Great place to come for a walk and to see some well looked after animals. There’s no charge for the Wildpark (although you can donate) and when we went no charge for the parking. A great way to spend the afternoon would recommend an ice cream at the restaurant.

The grandeur of Am Römerholz for me is founded in it's simplicity, volume and light! Such a beautiful manor house with the garden mirroring the simplicity and volume. A private collection of Manet, Renoir, van Gogh, Picasso and Rembrandt . . Mind blowing!

Beautiful museum with many French painters. I’d say it’s one of the best art museums you can find in Switzerland. The setting of it is beautiful with a marvellous park, adjoining a forest. It’s when successful industrialists still offered something to the public. The two stars missing is due to the painstakingly exact and exacting staff. You got corrected for every move in the museum: you have to carry the coat one way that is approved by the Swiss federation! And mind you that even the smallest bags must be put in a locker. In the future they’ll do body scans when you leave the building. Furthermore the staff is really only there to supervise, don’t ask anything - the barely know where the exit is. Overall bad. But the beauty of the museum compensated more than enough. And if it is sunny sit in the garden and have a snack or drink at the restaurant - you can find it on your own ;-)

A few of the masters - Van Gogh, Monet, Pissarro and Dutch 17th century pieces make this Kunst Museum worth visiting. Galleries full of “installation art” remind one that traditional, complex 2D artworks, full of technique and skill are no longer being produced.

I did not expect to find such a lovely collection. Impressionists, Goya, Lucas Cranach, etc., etc., etc. Pleasant surprise! Highly recommend!

It is an amazing place. We decide for a walk to head the museum. I need to do some search about sir reihnhart. His place is impressive. Originally a maison de maître on the hill, extensions to welcome the growing collection has been added making the whole piece an huge domain with a park, terrace, apple tree filled with few artwork as well outdoor. The collection is huge with a lot of masterpieces from the main artist from rebirth to impressionist. I recommend it. We made it on a free ticket day. But after the visit you must donate for the pleasure you took and for the preservasion.

The collection is not very large, but very thoughtfully selected. Amazing examples of French art of 19 century. Very nice park and beautiful views. The museum provides audio guides for children, but only in German.

Amazing Day In an Incredible Museum On a rare day when my children were off school (but all other schools were open) we visited Technorama and had an amazing day. There were only a few visitors, but enough to seem alive and the weather was perfect for visiting the outside area. The museum itself is so well made and organized. The number of engaging exhibits and well-done live shows/demonstrations will keep people of all ages busy all day. Special recognition goes to the restaurant staff for the freshly made food and the extremely friendly interaction during our lunch. We waited years for the children to be old enough to appreciate the museum - we won't wait so long before our next visit.

It’s so big, hours of entertainment for the kids in all different science categories with hand on experiment exhibits. There’s also a restaurant on site, plus an outdoor area with more exhibits. We spent 3.5 hours and didn’t get to do the outside area before closing, and we weren’t super slow going through the exhibits either.

This is hands down the best science museum that I’ve ever been to - everything was hands-on and interactive and really snuck in the science in a way that makes learning enjoyable. We spent almost 5 hours exploring the space with a 4 year old and could have easily spent more. The food in the cafeteria was pretty good, and I liked that you paid for the pasta by weight so you could take a smaller portion and not waste food. 10/10 way to spend a rainy day

Absolutely amazing experience , with hundreds of experiments and interactive stands over 3 floors, covers all areas of science in a very cool way! You need at least two days to cover it fully including the outdoor experience .

Very fun place to explore but need time is very imformative if we really read and study what is all these. Kids and adult both can have fun. High recommend full day here if you like science. Is very worth it

Very interesting place. Perfect for kids in school age. Easily you can spend complete day or even more discovering different subjects of science.

I love this museum. The kids enjoy it as well. The only two downsides are: it is loud and expensive. You can wear headphones against the noise and use an SBB voucher if you have a Swisspass. You should bring your own food. There is a nice picnic area. You can spend 5 hours here easily. The museum is best for kids between 6 to 14. Plan well for the labs and bring 2 CHF or 2 EUR for a fun game at the door to the outside.

Fotomuseum Winterthur is a quiet, well curated space that feels just the right size yet not overwhelming, but with enough to keep you thinking. The layout is clean, the atmosphere relaxed, and it’s a nice break from the usual big city museums. Easy to enjoy even if you’re not deep into photography.

Nothing to complain. Great show, helpful staff, lovely cafe. Some photos are truly intriguing.

Inspiring Visit at Fotomuseum Winterthur We visited two exhibitions—Lucia Moholy, which offered a fascinating cultural and historical perspective, and “The Lure of the Image,” a very relevant and thought-provoking theme. We loved the diversity of the works and the way the museum connects past and present through photography. A truly enriching experience!

Tucked away in a quiet street in Winterthur. The Fotomuseum is very well maintained, friendly personell, spacious and the exhibition i recently visited was "Digital Semiotics". The guided tour was excellent and the exhibits extremely interesting.

Sometimes you like it and sometimes...: if you like a photographic challenge you should visit this museum (actually it's two of them). The exhibitions are diverse and rarely love at first sight or at second... Thus it's more a gallery, you like it or not, you find it interesting or not. It provokes thoughts rather than giving you inspiration to go out and take pictures. I stopped coming back though. The rooms are excellent, there is space without distraction. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The bistro is quite good and a pleasant finish to any visit.

Opened the doors to this church and a delightful surprise awaited me. The art and frescos were so unexpected and absolutely beautiful. Gothic architecture and modern-ish biblical scenes inside!

In the city centre, this church Is worth a visit. Great organ. I have had the chance of visiting It during the reharsals of an orchestra with choir. Fantastic

I like terrace seat in this restaurant to enjoy traditional SWISS. Winterthur style Rosti smells nice, looks nice and tastes super. The volume is too nice to reach to the dessert.

In my opinion the best swiss kitchen in Winterthur. Their Spätzli and Röstj are absolutely amazing. The portion sizes are huge, which is typical for swiss restaurants, so prepare an empty stomach. The prices are fair as well. So definitely a must visit in Winterthur.

Nice familiar place. Offers typical Swiss dishes expressly made with fresh local products. Seasonal and off menu dishes also available. The "rosti" - minced baked potatoes with different dressings - are the house speciality. Try it with wild boar or with typical raclette cheese.

Really nice swiss restaurant, with swiss kitchen. The dish is really good, but a little bit expensiv. (A normal dinner around 30 sfr.) Still the portions a large, so the price is right. Ambient is swiss traditional.

Warm welcome staff, very good menu choices and a rösti for every taste. The fried pork "steak" and fondue with mushrooms were also very good.

We've tried the "surprise dinner" on a weekday. The restaurant is not big but luckily the tables are far enough from each other. The atmosphere and the kindness of the chef/assistant is amazing. We also asked for additional dish and a dessert. Everything was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect too. We will definitely visit again to try again!

This restaurant in the center of Winterthur is really worth the visit. They work with surprise menu prepared with seasonal ingredients. The dining room is a bit old school, and it looks like a traditional Swiss restaurant. However, cooking is modern and creative. The service is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. They have a great wine list, and also an option with wine pairing (not bad). Prices are adequate for the quality you get. Highly recommended.

We came here because of the raving reviews. It's really nothing special. Just an average Italian restaurant, making average Italian food. Many people here are saying it's one of the best restaurants in zurich... This is very far from the truth, believe me, I've tried many.

Nice pizza, Rostock and Salmon grill! We had 3 mains and sharing it among us. The taste and the seasoning of each dish was almost perfect. We had matched it with our own selection of drinks such as beer and wine. The staffs were friendly and helpful to our assistance too! I’ll definitely be back again for risotto and their duck speciality next.

I ordered an eggplant pizza and it was delicious. Very garlicky. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Why I deduct one star is because even though we booked a table at 8, we still have to wait around 15mins to be seated. The interior is also pretty outdated.

Been here twice for dinner. 1st time I had a Pizza with Prosciutto di Parma, was very tasty and authentic! Second time I had spaghetti ‘allo scoglio’ with shrimps and clams and mussels: sooo good! Reasonable prices, typical Italian trattoria atmosphere. I recommend this place for an authentic italian meal (pizza or pasta)

A pleasant little restaurant in a side building of the Castle Mörsburg. Wonderful shady terrace with a sweeping view of the valley. Excellent food, moderately priced. Very friendly service.

On Thursday they have meat from the smoker. I had spear rips with a excellent marinade. Can recommend.

On a beautiful summer evening we sat outside on the terrasse. The food was amazing, so defenetly worth it for a great meal.
