Flea & Street Markets
Nestled in the charming coastal town of Fleetwood, Fleetwood Market stands out as a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike. Established in 1840, this historic market boasts over 250 stalls that offer an eclectic mix of goods. From fresh produce to unique crafts, clothing, and even electronic items, there's something for everyone here. The market features both indoor and outdoor sections where you can explore everything from gourmet street food to beautifully crafted jewelry and household essentials.
Spent two enjoyable hours browsing around this large and friendly market. I visited on a Friday (it's also open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), travelling here on the tram from Blackpool. You get off at the Victoria Street tram stop, and it's only a couple of minutes' walk to the market entrance. This is a proper traditional market, mainly indoor, with friendly stallholders and a wide variety of merchandise, including ladies' and men's clothing, leather goods, knitting wools and haberdashery, some beautiful table linen, greetings cards, sweets, homewares, pet supplies, books and DVD's, mobile phone accessories, and much more. There's even an earwax removal service and a foot clinic. Did not see a lot of food stalls on this visit though. There's a nice café and deli, and there were also a few outdoor stalls where you could get street food. Prices were generally very reasonable, with some great bargains to be found. Bought a lovely real leather black bag for a very good price. The stallholder was really helpful. I could pay for my bag with a debit card, but some of the other traders accept cash only (there's a cash machine on the premises). The market hall is wheelchair accessible, with plenty of space to move around. Good clean toilets. Dog friendly. Ample free parking. All in all, this is one of the best indoor markets I've been to. It's well worth a visit if you're in the Fleetwood area.

Great selection of stalls. We took a bus from Blackpool (number 1) for about 40 mins and glad we did. We got sweets, a new hat, gem stones. They've got lots of bargains you didn't know you needed! Well worth checking when it's open and giving it a visit.

If you are a person who likes to come out of Blackpool for a while. This is a good market. Mixture of memories of the old days. Into now. Quite a big place. Does get busy. Great for holiday makers to have a look round. Plenty of cafes.
Katie B — Google review
We went into the cafe in the market and I ordered 2 prawn sandwiches on brown bread with salad and coleslaw on the side was 8 pound which is good. I had a cappuccino and my mum had an americano which were amazing but the only thing I wasn't happy with was when we got our PRAWN sandwiches they were not prawn they were crab instead with about 3 small prawns in it. It was lovely fresh and tasty but I wanted a prawn sandwich and would of liked it if we were told there was crab i them 🤔 anyway was lovely clean and food was fresh but that was the only downside. I still ate it though 😆

Fleetwood Market is another staple of any visit to the west coast, a very large indoor market with a huge choice of stalls selling everything from home wares to hosiery. We found a few little gems we'd been looking for for quite some time & there's also an outdoor section too. It's currently undergoing renovation so it's a tight squeeze in places but it's still a great place, a must see for any visitor.

First time to the fleetwood market and has to say it has everything not been to a good market in a long time. My other favourite market is Bury in Greater Manchester. But back to this one . It's got a great shirt stall doing big sizes. I found up to 5XL & in good styles. Also, as a wool stall if you're in to knitting and lots of other clothes stall .and when the shopping is done , pop into the cafe .try and avoid dodgy Dave with his stall outside the cafe . with his aftershaves & perfume & jewellery & watches because before you know it, it's in the bag, and you wonder what you have just bought .he as the gift of the gab as out door market. Facilities there are toilets and they are clean .we got the trams 🚊 from Blackpool and took about 35 to 40 mins to get there . Highly recommended 👌

Very busy you could easily get lost among all the various stalls. Everything is mixed difficult to find what you want without walking all over.

Fleetwood Museum is a charming local history museum housed in a magnificent 19th-century Victorian building. It features an excellent gift shop and coffeehouse, as well as a second-hand bookshop where visitors can find amazing bargains. The staff are passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Fleetwood, providing informative and friendly guidance to visitors exploring each room's great interpretation. Families with children can enjoy trails and quizzes designed for them.
Absolutely loved it! So much history and information; you could spend hours in there if you read everything! The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to delve deeper into the history of Fleetwood.

Very interesting museum, well worth the visit. Very intense with information, lots of things to read and look at. There is a huge historical ship outside of the museum too!!!? Having known nothing about Fleetwood before visiting, we certainly learnt a lot! Staff are lovely and helpful. Can pay by cash or card. Good, clean toilets too! Thanks for making our trip to Fleetwood memorable! (Not adding pics of the boat - that, you definitely to see for yourself!)
Dewey W — Google review
We went there on a day out to Fleetwood market. Saw the signs for the museum. My wife and I enjoyed the museum, history of Fleetwood town and fishing industry and artifacts. The staff where very friendly, polite and informative. Only a small fee on entry. Would recommend, especially to people who enjoy history, facts and the fishing industry.
Kevin J — Google review
Very good local museum the displays on the fishing industry are particularly fascinating especially if a former trawlerman is available to tell you about the tough conditions on board. Very good overview of the origins of this unique town. I recommend more than one visit. Very friendly and informative volunteers.
JOHN A — Google review
Absolutely loved it here, there was a school party there when I visited, the volunteers were dressed in period costumes and entertained and educated the kids. Some lovely and interesting exhibits but the best thing about the place is the volunteer staff, really really friendly, extremely knowledgeable and at 4 quid to get in, a bargain! Edit: I have been a few times now, please consider becoming a friend of the museum, it's £8 and gets you unlimited entry for a year. Great cafe and a second hand book shop that the Thursday morning girls in themselves are worth visiting for ;-)
Kev P — Google review
£3 per adult was a bargain price to pay for what this Museum had to offer. A real hidden gem and just a nice and interesting place to walk around. The Smack boat in the shed out the back was a real privilege to see and well worth a look. The volunteers were lovely and very enthusiastic. Plenty of costumes to try on and the gift shop was well priced. My favourite was the Fisherman's Friend exhibition and seeing the original artefacts inside there. The cafe seemed very good, although it was a bit too warm in there today sadly. If that's the only drawback then it shows you how good this little place is.
Daniel B — Google review
Fabulous museum with wonderful displays and very helpful staff. Particularly liked seeing Harriet the very old sail driven trawler and hearing about the trouble it took to transport her to Fleetwood, I hope she remains there and continues to be well looked after. Thank you everyone. We would have eaten in the cafe but it was closed.

Visited during Fleetwood Heritage Festival. We have visited lots of local attractions and this is one of the best! Totally surprised by the vast exhibits, the actual size of the place and the suprise package ( not to spoil it for people)at the rear is amazing! The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. The coffee shop is lovely too, we will definitely pop into here for a drink next time. Bonus is free parking over the road. Really loved the place!

Performing arts theater
Concerts & Shows
Overlooking the beach, Marine Hall is a 1930s seafront theater with original art deco features that hosts a diverse range of performances throughout the year. The iconic venue offers a picturesque backdrop for various events and activities, from stage shows to food festivals. Adjacent to the theater is The Mount, an old Victorian building with stunning views of the coastline and town. The theater itself boasts an illuminated art deco exterior at night and features events such as music gigs, comedy nights, and theatrical performances.
First visit ever to Fleetwood and the Marine Hall last saturday to see Pink Floydian. What a superb venue, large enough to show off the bands amazing light show but still with a warm and friendly feel. All the staff I encountered were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I'd have no hesitation in recommending others to see a show here. By the way, something not quite right with my uploaded images as they are higher resolution than appear in this review, no idea why!
Paul S — Google review
This is a amazing place, fantastic tribute bands, great parking. The glass domed roof is beautiful but mostly it's the staff that truly make it. They are kind very welcoming. The doorman sees everyone has a safe and fun time, it really is a gem. I don't take being in crowded places or being out at night very well, I have anxiety and panic attacks, however the Marine Hall is a place where I feel safe. It's not over crowded and finishes at a reasonable time plus all the people that attend the venue are a lovely group.
Pauline — Google review
Went here for a music event. Venue was seated so the atmosphere wasn't as good as I would have liked. Good lighting so the show/stage looked good. There's a glass dome in the roof which looked lovely when lit up but unfortunately it didn't notice during the show Being a theatre there were ushers rather than security which weren't much help when people decided to 'stage invade' at the end of the show. Overall a nice clean venue but probably more suited for a panto or play rather than a gig.
Clare — Google review
Beautiful little venue with a really lovely vibe and atmosphere to the building. Excellent and well stocked bar plus a fantastic little snack kiosk serving crisps, amazing Wallings Ice Cream, soft drinks and even Cadburys Hot Chocolate. Staff couldn't have been any nicer and the show we watched (Nativity the Musical) was outstanding and would highly recommend getting along to watch this before it's short run ends. Had such a great night here.
Daniel B — Google review
An awesome nostalgic building. Good acoustics, friendly staff and a nice modern bar. This venue is perfect for more intimacy at concerts. Every seat gives you a good view of the stage.

JIVE TALKIN The show was excellent. they put on a masterful performance of Bee Gee classics without taking themselves too seriously. Young Robin is Marvellous. the venue was great we were sat row J and had a great view throughout. the staff at the venue were very good and helpful especially the lady in the sparkling shiny pumps. lots of good free parking outside the hall which was brilliant. would be more than happy to return to another event here.

Passed through these Gardens whilst looking for the public toilets but once we found them not only did we forget to bring our radar key for the disabled toilet but there was also a small charge and that is why I have rated this 4stars and not 5. Most people pay with debit cards, money is almost obsolete so these should be brought upto date. Anyway we used the leisure centre toilets before we walked back through the gardens back to the car, it is possible to get through with a wheelchair but you might have to go the long way around as some parts have steps and the ramp is further on. It was fairly quiet for a bank holiday weekend and with sun out which did surprise us but we enjoyed our visit nonetheless.

Fleetwood Beach, also known as Marine Beach, is a delightful seaside destination that promises a perfect family getaway. Nestled near the charming Marine Hall, this beach features soft sandy shores and picturesque beach huts that create an inviting atmosphere for visitors of all ages. The seafront pathways are ideal for leisurely strolls where you can soak in stunning views across the bay or enjoy building sandcastles with loved ones.
One of the quieter beaches. Unspoiled. Fantastic views over the bay. Great amenities.

I came here for a long beach walk that followed the southern route. There are lots of neat shells to find here as well as plenty of spots to hang out by the water in relative peace. The swimming here is also fun, though there is a strong current. I would only recommend that strong swimmers try going out in the water here
Sbourgeois87 — Google review
The best beach and promenade you can go to, lots of free sea fishing ideal place, dog walkers and dogs playing on the sands and water or going for a swim. Megga popular with families on a nice day all year round, but extremely gorgeous in summer where people rent the beach chalets, and chill out for hours and family get togethers and having fun and making memories and families sunbathing and having picnics. Me and the girlfriend love to come here it is so romantic also and extremely popular with couples having a nice walk together, as well as tiring the dog out with all her exercise and sea air, she is sleeping like a baby at night back home. It is also very popular with bike riders and joggers. Forget Brash and hustling and expensive Blackpool, come here 1 of the Fylde Coast Gems.

Fleetwood Bathing Beach is a quieter beach behind the measure centre that is reserved for people. Dogs are not allowed on that section of the beach. It has great views and nice sand and pebbled areas. It is also next to a play park, so it's great for kids . There is plenty of free parking in the area.

Fleetwood Beach is a a lovely spot and perfect for a relaxing sunny day out with its smooth sands and scenic promenade. On a clear day, the views are unbelievable, offering a stunning glimpse of the Lake District and Heysham across the water. It’s a peaceful location for a seaside stroll or just soaking in the natural views. However, one downside is the current sewage issue, which can detract from the otherwise idyllic experience. It’s a shame that such a lovely area is affected by this, but hopefully, improvements will be made soon.

After Fish & Chips in Thornton- Clevelys Fish Loves Chips Fleetwood Beech was just up the road and I was awake again to sake some lovely pictures. It was nice to talk to local people and people that were on holiday and just visiting for the day and taking their pictures of them in front of the beach with their cameras. I’ve gone up to Fleetwood many times, beautiful sunsets, beautiful walks and beautiful events all year round ❤️ Another old time family favourite of many, definitely worthwhile taking a visit sometime 👌

An incredibly clean beach. It was a pleasure to sit on. The tide was out when I went there but the little pools it left behind were lovely and warm. I paddled for quite a long time in these pools. It felt like walking on the surface of the moon such was the untouched nature. You can see the mountains of the Lake District in the distance too

Rossall Point Watch Tower is a must-visit attraction located on the promenade in Rossall, between Fleetwood and Cleveleys. The tower offers informative displays about the coastal environment, birdlife, and biodiversity. Visitors can enjoy stunning views from two viewing decks using provided binoculars. Situated on the wild and rugged coastline of Fleetwood Peninsula, it provides beautiful sea views and a perfect day trip destination from Lancashire caravan park.
Opening times can vary so best to check first. Visited on a Sunday however the visibility was a bit limited at that time but still enjoyed some panoramic views across Fleetwood and out to sea across Morecambe bay to Barrow, the structure is popular for birdwatching and photography. More bird species can be seen at low tide. The towers volunteers were very helpful in explaining the function of the tower and how it integrates with the coastguard service and also showing visitors around. Binoculars and telescopes are available on free loan or there is a voluntary donation box for their upkeep. There is a car park near Fleetwood boating lake about 500m away which was free when I was there. Some of the views from the top of Rossall Watch Tower
Lee W — Google review
We visited this watch tower today and unfortunately it was closed, which was a shame, but it was still a great place to visit. The area is full of lots of things to see. The toilets are well maintained too, but cost 40p to enter when the watch tower is closed which is worth knowing.
Samantha B — Google review
Fantastic piece of architecture. Sadly closed when we visited so unable to enter. Some great information boards for those with young families, though could do with some TLC, seafront conditions can be harsh.

Woke up very early and planned to go to the gym for an hour before work. It was a beautiful morning, so instead, I went to work early and parked the car up. A short walk to Larkholme promenade revealed what a truly beautiful morning it was. With views to the South Lakes, Barrow, and Blackpool, across Fleetwood to the Bowland forests, it was a fantastic place to start a leisurely stroll north along a very clean and well maintained sea wall up to the Rossall Point Watch Tower, which was bathed in crisp, clear, early morning sunshine. There's the sea wall path, a bridleway, and various tracks and paths to choose from. I had a super clear view of the wind turbines out in Morecambe Bay. It was so quiet, the air was fresh and still, and it was so much better than going to the gym. There's plentiful free parking and many places to pick from when deciding how far to walk. Early morning golfers were out, as were lots of species of local wildlife. My pictures don't do it justice, but for a peaceful seaside stroll with great views, fresh air, and plenty to enjoy, I can't recommend this area highly enough. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Weather permitting, I'm going to make it part of my regular commute by getting to work early and enjoying what nature has to offer.
Clive B — Google review
This place is absolutely amazing to go up and see on the very top of the structure. There are a few stairs to climb, but chairs at the top of them to rest at each station. On the 1st floor there is a inside viewing platform which is phenomenal place for all ornithologists, with the display of birds species found in the local area a real treat. On the 2nd floor the actual coast guard manning it in daylight hours 365 days a year megga interesting. Then on the top floor a phenomenal fantastic Panaramic view of the whole bay and Fleetwood, with maps surrounding the walls of the structure outlining what you can see, there are free to use pairs of binoculars to use if you haven't brought your own or camera enthusiasts. You can see Barrow Docks Heysham Town and Docks, Helvellyn and even Ingleborough and the mountains of the Lake District, Lune Deeps Morcambe Knott End Heysham, and Heysham Power Station, and all the passing ships, I was megga lucky to see Heysham Ferry heading to port. I have lived in Blackpool all my life and never been up it, I can really say a MUST for anybody local to the fylde coast or visitors, after Blackpool Tower. And what's more it's free to go up, a must for families to go to for something different, in the cost of living crisis, as well as interesting something different to do, to keep the kids entertained in the school holidays, as well as having a nice walk and fresh air and exercise rather than stuck on tablets, phones and PC s and game consoles. Where else can you do nice friendly family fun these days all for free provided by helpful knowledgable and friendly volunteers. My girlfriend was talking to a really nice bloke who said it is open mainly at weekends and when they do the Fleetwood Beach Clean, and organised school parties.
George T — Google review
Whilst walking past on Saturday lunchtime one of the volunteers (Howard) asked if we'd like to take a visit to the top. What a lovely, informative and welcoming chap! We enjoyed looking put over the beach, across to (just visible) Lake District fells and mountains, and Howard advised us of the shipwrecks, the way the tide comes in through the lower gullys and flats on the beach. He even asked the National Coastwatch on duty if we could take a look on their floor and see what they do. Great little stop off on our walk and such welcoming and dedicated fab folks running it. Definitely recommend a look if you're in the area and catch it open! We'll be back for another visit!

Good food, good prices (inc bar). Had fish & chips, steak pie, and gammon steak between us all. All well cooked hearty food. Server was really friendly. All in all, a nice meal. My only negative was that the little restaurant was a little cold. Didn't get to meet Mr Little.. maybe next time.

Dire! Walked in and walked straight back out. Saturday lunch time and absolutely no one in this enormous pub. Not surprised as it is very run down and tatty. Definitely would not risk the food.

Visited here this week to have some food and a drink as they are dog friendly. 2 or 3 signs outside clearly state "home cooked food". Asked on entry to be told "we don't do food..." Stayed for a drink anyway. They have a good selection of beers and live entertainment.

Try and seek out this pub it's really friendly. A proper boozer with the fixtures and fittings of what you would expect from a classic British public house. When we visited they had recently completed a refurbishment. The pub looks stunning. The staff are amazing and provide excellent customer service. They have a good selection of beers with a few real ales in tap. The food here is superb and it is excellent value too. Prices are very cheap and portions are massive. The meat feast pizza is great. It must be the only meat feast pizza around that has real meat. The sharer nachos should not be missed! It's ginormous!

The Strawberry Gardens Pub and Bistro in Fleetwood is a spotlessly clean and dog-friendly place with excellent food and a fully stocked bar offering various drinks. The staff are known for being friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to both humans and their furry friends. It's a cheerful spot to enjoy some real ale or relax with a meal. Despite some minor disappointments with the chips, the overall experience is highly recommended by visitors who have enjoyed the atmosphere and prompt service during events like school reunions.
The first thing I should say is that if you call it 'dessert' and not 'pudding' then this is probably not the place for you, however, that said we would highly recommend trying this place for good quality no frills pub grub, if you want a decent meal at a decent price then give it a go. The place has an old fashioned charm about it that appealed to us, the original layout has been kept and not thankfully turned into a gastro-pub, it offers a small but varied pub style menu at what we think are reasonable prices. We had the Sunday special which consists of 2 roast dinners and 2 drinks for £25, as you should be able to see from the photo there was a lot on the plate and it was delicious. The staff seemed friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, there is music but played at a level where you can chat without shouting (which is a nice change). Overall we would recommend visiting and trying it out, we will definitely be returning soon.

Away fans save your money and go somewhere else! Should be a great pub this. The location’s great, big beer garden and loads of parking. Staff were really nice, but that’s where the positives end. We came for a few beers before football on Saturday and honestly didn’t have a decent pint between the 8 of us. And it’s not cheap either! Estrella was sour, cask tasted soapy, Guinness in cans. Glasses weren’t clean. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I just don’t go back. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a pub. I bought 3 pints and didn’t finish a single one of them.

After a coastal walk we headed another mile to this spot for lunch after seeking out a place via Google. It was quiet in the afternoon but the home cooked food still came out to a great standard. Home cooked pies were delicious, and plentiful. There was an offer too, which meant reduced prices. Always a bonus.

Food was very nice. Only thing is there weren’t enough chips, and the small amount was covered by the fish. Food was still so nice, with delicious and unique dishes. The Eton mess desert was delicious too. I recommend eating here. The only photo I had of that was with me so I edited myself out and the pic is bad.

My wife and I had an excellent breakfast here last Friday. We'd never been before and didn't know what to expect but we had a very enjoyable visit. Car parking is plentiful, the tractor shed itself is large with lots of seating, food was cooked and served in good time and the quality was top notch. My only minor gripe is that we had the Fordson Breakfast with the Cumberland sausage which was delicious - but rather than serve hash brown bites AND a hash brown, perhaps drop the hash brown and have beans instead. My wife and I agreed it would have made it a better selection. Anyway, top notch - we will be back. Please see the photos I took.

Quality quality quality. Superb bistro which is finished to a very high standard. Toilets are fresh and clean too. The breakfast is one of the best I've had. Those lovely thick sausages are amazing. Well worth a try if your in the area. Also on the number 14 bus route with a stop very close to the bistro.

Went in Pacino's Ristorante last night for a meal, 2 adults and 2 kids. Really friendly welcome and introduced us to the New Menu. Garlic Bread with Cheese to start was lovely. 2x Pizzas, 2x Pasta Alfredo's and Fries on the side, all tasted really nice, well presented and ample sized. Draught lager and cocktails for the adults went down a treat. Really enjoyed our experience. Thank you for a lovely meal. Would Highly Recommend

Lovely establishment tastefully decorated. Staff were very welcoming attentive and polite. Food was top notch and a fantastic choice. Drinks menu was standard with the added bonus of a lovely selection of cocktails all very nice. Over all a good time was had. Would certainly go again and with a few minor negatives which were discussed on the night and things that don't detract from how nice it was to go then it would have been a five. Good job Pacino's! Many visits since and always been a fantastic experience!

Just had a great takeaway from here. The restaurant was quiet when I collected, but greeted with a smile and some friendly chat. The food was great, and to the guy that served me, yes, the antipasti platter for 2 was fantastic.

we have had some lovely meals eating in here but the takeaway was awful. we were originally told it would be delivered between 13.30-13.45, by 14.10 it still hadn’t arrived so we called to chase. eventually delivered at 14.25, almost a full hour late. yorkshire puddings were burnt, the gravy was basically water. veg and meat were fine but nothing special, overall not worth it.

We choose one of our favourite Fleetwood Restaurants for the perfect venue for our small informal Wedding meal and we're so looked after! Thank you Team Pacino's!!

Staff were really friendly, food was delicious and you could tell it was home made and not bought in. Wine list was very user friendly so you could actually pick a wine you would like not just hoping it’s to your taste! Plenty to chose from on the menu and they do offer kid size meals too. They were wonderful with my little boy and once they saw he took a liking to their fish tank also let him feed them to.

Seafood restaurant
If you're a seafood enthusiast, The Trafalgar is an absolute must-visit on the Fylde coast. This charming Fleetwood restaurant not only excels in fresh fish and seafood but also offers a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes to cater to diverse palates. On Sundays, they switch things up with a special menu featuring traditional roast dinners alongside some delightful seafood and vegetarian options for those looking for something unique.
TOP notch food - came twice for "tea" (dinner), first time with company and now on my own. Super fresh seafood / fish as well as carnivore options (steak / chicken / etc). I highly recommend the dover sole (basically sole meuniere style) as well as the hake filet. Tasty, fresh and well cooked/presented. My company recommends the prime steak. Service is lovely too and very forthcoming / attentive - came few times to ask if everything is alright or if I needed anything else. I ll be back VERY soon! Thanks for the pleasant hospitality!

A great fish restaurant in the heart of Fleetwood. Plenty of dishes to choose from and a very good wine selection. There are other meat dishes also available. Service was very good and friendly. Parking on street. Would definately recommend. Booking advised as it can get busy.

We had an excellent meal, quite delicious the salmon and hake. Service was quick, efficient and with a smile. May i make a positive suggestion to increase the very quiet atmosphere? Some suitable soft very low level background music would be lovely. But please NOT todays hits! Some music with a sea theme would be excellent. Repeat, it was an excellent meal and a very nice evening. Thank you.

Lovely food, friendly staff. Thought there would be more fish dishes than there was on the menu. The prawns starter was to die for. Decent size portions. Would recommend and will return.

We go to the Trafalgar for my birthday each year. The food is gorgeous. Seafood at its best fresh, fresh. fresh. The staff are lovely, and you feel they genuinely want you to have a fab experience. We love it, and if you like ships, then it's a bonus.

Very polite staff and fantastic food :) It's not easy to find a place where they serve a good fish and seafood. I will be coming back :)
