Spiaggia di Monte Cogoni is a beautiful beach located near Torre Chia, close to Sa Colonia. In the past, it served as a natural harbor and facilitated the development of emporiums due to its wide lagoon. The beach offers both free and equipped areas with rental options for sunbeds, umbrellas, canoes, and pedal boats.
Stunning beach, lots of room on the sand, crystal clear water and very clean. Short walk to nearby coves too. Flamingos in the lagoon were an added bonus!

Beautiful beach, nice bar with cheap fast food and most important - a pond with plenty of flamingos.

Beautiful beach! Not very crowded. Easy access from Baia Chia Resort. Beautiful sunrise views. You can see the fish in the water! Jellyfish too so be careful. Take snorkeling equipment if you have some.

Very nice beach and nice swimming. I can really recommend

Just a beautiful beach which feels like a true beach.

Amazing beach, definitely worth visiting!

Excellent beach. Everyone pays and hustles to find space for a towel at Tuerredda but this one has clear water and a more relaxing atmosphere just 10mins away. Luna Market is where most park for free and walk 8mins down to the beach. The market has cold drinks and a great butcher section along with other nick nacks.

Spiaggia di Cala Cipolla, also known as Cala Cipolla beach, is a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque Chia Bay in southern Sardinia. This unspoiled swimming beach boasts a stunning backdrop of large rocks and shrub-covered dunes. The 150-meter stretch of fine white sand is surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation, including pine and juniper trees that provide shelter from the sun's rays.
Beautiful beach! Clear water, nice sand. If you go a little bit further from the wntrancentrance you will find rocky part of the beach. Perfect for snorkeling and watching underwater life. Nearby you will find convenient parking lot.

Beautiful bay. Lovely white/yellow sand, just behind the pine trees, not too crowded. Always a spot available, even in peak season. No restrooms or bar. Sunbeds for rent. Beautiful surroundings. The beach is an 5-7 minute walk from the parking lot.
John A — Google review
Beautiful beach. Parking price 8€ When you leave the parking lot, you have to go straight and walk for about 10 minutes to get to the beach. The water is very blue. Be careful, it gets crowded quickly. To the right of the beach, there is a pool with rocks where you can watch the fish.
Maltravel_fly — Google review
Picturesque beach with nice rocky landscape. No shower or toilet, no cafe, but packing nearby for 7 eur.

Cosy beach with nice diving and sightseeing spots around. The nearby kiosk has everything, from great coffee to affordable sunbeds.

nice beach with nice view if you climb the rocks. the waves were relatively strong in April. However, you can still swim reasonably well.

A nice little bay, crystal clear water, sandy beach and there are some shady places as well. It is worth climbing the hills surrounding the bay because there is a wonderful view of the sea.

Su Giudeu Beach, also known as Spiaggia di Su Giudeu, is a popular spot located on the south coast of Sardinia near Chia. It is renowned for its fine golden sand, picturesque sand dunes, and a lagoon where pink flamingoes reside. The beach is just 1 kilometer south of Chia beach and features several reefs that make it ideal for scuba diving.
There’s a bit of a walking distance from the parking spaces but it’s definitely worth it. This one is very well equipped with plenty of bars and sunbeds for rent. I walked through the entire beach and figured out that the last two or three bars are the best. So don’t get fooled by the first one you see when you arrive as some of them don’t offer sunbeds. I give 9/10 to this beautiful venue 🫴

One of the best beach in all Sardinia, close to the Chia on the south... You can come there by car, motorcycle and bus number 129 from Cagliari, Pula and all nearby places... There you can see beautiful gold colour of sand and very clear water like you are in the pool... So much free places to put your towel and ambrella, but because it's always little windy you must secure your umbrella 😀... Also there is place where you can rent beach equipment and if you are hungry or thirsty you can do it there... Price is very correct for this place.... I was there so much times and always it's so beautiful and you can relax... At back of the beach there is little lake with Flamingos... All recommendations for visit and take some nice pictures and videos if you are in south Sardinia

Not only the best beach in Sardinia, it is also among the finest beaches in the world that I have visited. It is a beach with incredibly fine sand. The water is crystal clear and the visibility under water is several meters. Bring a pair of goggles or swimming goggles and watch for fish. There is a small island that you can have fun swimming out to. You can walk almost the whole way, you have to swim the last few meters. It is often windy which is usually nice but if you have an umbrella with you it must be anchored well. Drive past everything and onto a gravel road and you will come to a large parking lot with the shortest walking distance.
Kim J — Google review
The Best Beach we have been during our stay in south Sardinia. Crystal Clear water, the water was almost non waivy and you can walk to the little island without the water getting deep. Absolutely stunning.
Creme B — Google review
Beautiful beach with crystal clear water and fish! it’s huge so it doesn’t get crowded. We liked the stretch across the small island. Absolutely worth it.
Alice B — Google review
This is a beautiful and underrated beach. Everyone seems to want to go to Tuerada but for me that beach is Insta overrated!! This beach has lots of room and isn’t overly crowded. Parking is €5 for the day and there are beach bars and a place to rent water sports equipment. Unsure of bed prices as never rented one 🤷🏻‍♂️
Brett D — Google review
An outstanding beach. Crystal clear water, very clean surroundings and bar staff are very friendly.

Nice and big beach. We have been in a windy day and there were some waves. But the spectacular colors are speachless, especially from the drone. Recommend

Seafood restaurant
Mirage is a renowned institution in Domus de Maria, founded in 1993, offering a sophisticated dining experience with an array of delectable dishes. The restaurant is known for its exquisite pizza and pasta featuring locally sourced lobster and tuna from fishermen. While some patrons have experienced occasional service delays, the overall consensus is that the exceptional quality of the food overshadows any minor service hiccups.
Always the best. Mirage is an institution in Chia. We had a big plate of clams, muscles, and row fish, a spaghetto allo scoglio and a massive scorpion fish (of almost 1.5 kg) with tomatoes, potatoes and saffron. We drink a nice bottle of ca del bosco rose and order two dessert. The bill came out around 330 euros. I cannot complain as the quality was top notch and service as well. C you soon mirage
Roberto C — Google review
Busy restaurant with good selection of seafood and pasta. Local malloreddus pasta was excellent. Pizzas not available until after 9pm. Reservation is recommended if you don't want a table out the back.
Greg R — Google review
Food was really boring! Lobster was too cooked but the pasta itself had absolutely no taste. The appetizers were okay. We just loved the marinated sardines. The service was very uninterested and unfriendly until it’s time for the receipt🙄
Samantha — Google review
The food was overall great. The tuna steak was nicely well done and very tasty. The Caprese salad could be better it seemed like it came straight from the fridge. The highlight was the tiramisu absolutely delicious and highly recommended!
Nico R — Google review
Had dinner at Mirage in Chia. The seafood pasta was good, and the pizza was just average. The space felt a bit too large and crowded, which made the atmosphere less enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience was largely impacted by the hostess at the entrance, Sarah, who was shockingly rude and unwelcoming—possibly the most hostile hostess I’ve ever encountered. Overall, not a great visit. A smile and basic courtesy would’ve gone a long way.
Maria A — Google review
Very nice restaurant. Probably the best in this area. The prices are pretty good, affordable for the quality. Certain portions could be bigger like shrimp for 35€ had only 5 shrimps. The atmosphere is great, very big restaurant, you definitely need to reserve, gets full. Service is nice and quick. The portions are mostly good. Lots of variety for fish and seafood. Mussels and clams are must to try. The grilled fish was a bit overpriced we ordered grilled orata which was pretty big but it was 75€ which is still not worth it, the fish was ok nothing extraordinary.
Ana P — Google review
Amazing ambience, great seafood variety. All the dishes where very authentic and flavourful, the spaghetti vongole was superb, sea bass im white wine amazing, mix of crudo seafood very authentic and the pizza was one of the best in sardinia.

Crar'e Luna - Ristorante a Chia is a family-friendly restaurant known for its grilled meat and fish. The venue features a large play area and garden stage for live bands, making it an ideal spot for families. The staff is multilingual and accommodating to families with children, providing toys and ensuring a comfortable dining experience. While the menu leans towards seafood, the servers are willing to assist with preparing other dishes upon request.
After a lovely full day at the Chia beach, we were looking for a casual place to dine. We reserved at Crar’e Luna for its vicinity and reviews. Let me add that a previous trip to Sardinia was not the best culinary experience to date, so we were cautious to keep our expectations low. Our first impression was of a casual garden restaurant but in effect it was much dressier and nicer than we imagined. We were in shorts and sandals having spent the entire day on a Sandy beach. Marco was our server and he was absolutely fantastic! His warm smile, keen eye for detail and wonderful friendly service made the difference. We had antipasti, the succulent Polpo Soffocato and Cozze Primavera…DELICIOUS! For second dish we had Spaghetti Crar’e Luna, unique and tasty! Would definitely recommend for a nice seafood dinner! This time we were too stuffed for dessert!

Nice friendly and welcoming place. The food is very delicious. The price is about right balanced in relation to the quality of the service and the food. Parking spot available inside the restaurant territory. The only inconvenience was the open hours, google doesn’t show when it’s open, and tried to call several times during the day to book a table, in the end went there with no reservation.
Stas P — Google review
Not cheapest place you'll come across, but the food is simply outstanding, the service is excellent and the setting is delightful. Excellent value for money and well worth a visit for a treat. I had the seafood linguine, which was delicious. Added bonus, the beach is nearby (5min by bike) and well worth a visit too.
Arnaud M — Google review
A decent place if you’re staying locally - food was better than our resort but the service was really really slow…
Thomas B — Google review
They charged us 72€ for 2 plates of fish like this one. Honestly, the price felt excessive for what we got. Make sure to ask about prices beforehand — it wasn’t clearly listed in the menu. The quantity and price weren’t shown and agreed at the table before cooking as they mention in the response, otherwise I wouldn’t have left this review. Plus, after we’ve got the bill and asked for an explanation they were rude 😕
Andra V — Google review
Really nice fish and seafood restaurant with gluten free options and a beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful, knows about allergies and can accommodate needs regarding allergies.
F — Google review
Good food and very nice staff. But we had ordered the 20€ portion of fish, after paying we realized they had put 60€ for ONE fish on our bill. Our fish was good, but it was NOT the catch of the day or in any other way special or fancy. Also clearly not what we had ordered. I would not go back there.
Tim U — Google review
Sadly the food was not fresh. Calamari was tough and overcooked. The steak tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. Much better restaurants nearby. I would avoid this.

Pizza restaurant
Nestled in the charming village of Duomo di Maria, Niko's Pizzeria di Pasquale offers an authentic Italian dining experience that captures the essence of southern Sardinia. With a delightful atmosphere and friendly service, this pizzeria is renowned for its delicious pizzas featuring a perfectly thin crust. Guests rave about the fresh ingredients and unique toppings, such as aubergine and swordfish, making each bite a true culinary delight.
Amazing experience. This is one of the best Pizza in southern Sardinia. It’s such a great moment to sit on a piazza in the middle of a village and have a pizza. It’s hard to imagine it more Italian. And the pizzas are great. With a thin crust and baked perfect.

We had a really pleasant experience at this pizzeria! We had initially ordered a special pizza, but later realized it contained pork, which we don’t eat. We asked if it was possible to switch it for another one (the Buffalina), and we were fully prepared to pay for both. To our surprise, the staff was extremely kind and didn’t charge us for the first pizza — a gesture we truly appreciated. We ended up having the Buffalo, Buffalina, and tuna pizzas — and all of them were absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and a perfectly baked crust. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended — both for the food and the hospitality!

Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. The pizza was absolutely delicious - one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served quickly. A great spot to enjoy a nice meal, highly recommended!

Pizzas are very good. Service is terrible. The waitress in the glasses is the most rude and unpleasant person we ever met in Italy. I hope the owner reads this message as such people ruin your business.

Ordered take away pizza from Niko’s on multiple occasions as we were staying literally 10 metres away. Would 100% recommend it… try the Aubergine and Swordfish pizza for a real treat 😋🍕

The restaurant offers a variety of spectacular appetizers and exquisite seafood dishes, including fregola with clams and seadas with honey and local myrtle for dessert. Beautiful food. The seafood spaghetti was amazing. When we visited it was full of locals and had a great atmosphere.

I went here with my Italian boyfriend, we had the most amazing food experience, the fish is super fresh and delicious. We had the mixed antipasti and the grilled fish for secondi. We really recommend this place, a must try going to this part of Sardinia! Very difficult to get a table, book in advance

This hidden trattoria, outside the tourist places, reserves few surprises, here you will always find the usual stuff of fish cooked in the same way, for many years, with the same incredible quality and simplicity. Book well in advance if you want to come, you will find nothing more than fresh fish, simple and traditional cuisine, not too expensive prices. In short, come once to come back every year.

Restaurant
Nestled in the serene surroundings of Chia, Ristorante - Lounge Bar - Club Nautico Chia offers a delightful escape for those seeking a peaceful dining experience. This charming one-level stone building is enveloped by beautifully manicured grounds, creating an inviting atmosphere that feels both tranquil and welcoming. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with warmth and can enjoy outdoor seating while soaking up the picturesque views.
Holidaying in south west Sardinia from the U.K. in mid June 2022, we visited this restaurant for lunch. It is set in Chia, and the restaurant building is one level stone building, surrounded by beautifully manicured grounds. It is very tranquil here. There is parking at the venue and as you walk towards the restaurant, you pass the venue's shop. We were warmly greeted and given a table outside. We opted for a light lunch as we got there mid afternoon and were set for an early dinner elsewhere. We had a nice assortment of local breads to start, followed by deep fried assortment of seafood with french fries - it tasted beautiful. We then had some nice gelato from their wide selection. Awesome. The views you look out onto from the restaurant are beautiful - green lawns, bamboo plants and lovely hills. A big thank you to Monica for looking after us - exquisite table service. We will definitely return for a full menu experience. I strongly recommend this restaurant - clean, atmosphere, great food, brilliant service and fabulous views..
Paul S — Google review
Nice place, great location and for a quick lunch absolutely ok. And you can directly access the beach!
Chris — Google review
The ambience is nice, it’s tranquil with a wonderful music playlist. The appetizers were not incredibly tasty, unfortunately. We really enjoyed the mussels - would certainly recommend those! Most other dishes were bland or tasted super fishy. The entree was disappointing. Really tough tuna, flavorless squid, and the fish had so many bones in it, it was impossible to enjoy. The service was attentive when we first arrived and were one of few tables; but we waited quite a time between our appetizer and entree. I think you can find better places around here.
Zane S — Google review
Very kind Flash provided us with some very nice evenings and first class service at this place. Dining for the finest with fresh fish and excellent wine! Thanks a lot
Hannes W — Google review
Tranquility and kindness. The place is cool, isolated, quiet. The quality is good without aiming for exclusivity, which is only good. Normal prices. In short, a place where it is pleasant to spend an evening.
Agostino B — Google review
There’s nothing to say except embarrassing — from the service, to the quality of the cocktails, to the supermarket olives served as snacks. A pretentious and wasted venue, a real shame.
DAVID M — Google review
Lovely lunch at Club Nautico for nine of us. We had fresh fish, pizza, salads and pasta dishes - all fresh and delicious. Very calm and relaxing experience and lovely staff. The food took its time but was worth waiting for. We will return!
Lisa F — Google review
Convenient location, walkable from nearby hotels. Really good service when we were one of few tables, very attentive and friendly, then faded. We ordered the appetizer sampler and fish sampler to share, so we had a good cross section of the menu. The mussels were spicy and delicious, though they were the only interesting part of the meal. VERY fishy taste with some of the other items, and the rest was mediocre. Atmosphere could be really great with some adjustments to lighting.
