This is the best casino in Portugal in my opinion, especially for poker. The blonde lady who runs all the poker is really helpful and friendly. There are good tournaments here and loads of cash tables. Even the dealers are friendly. Good vibe

Good Atmosphere and very big area. They have a lot of slots but the most are with jackpots and very difficult. I would like to that more diversity. The bar at the entrance is very beautiful and the drinks tasted well.

Had 3 nights in the casino. Bar service is good, not free like some casinos but good value price . Ate a couple of nicely cooked sandwiches. Good bar staff and croupiers, my girlfriend actually enjoyed this casino at the bar while I played.

The Casino was fine, the food in the Jokers Lounge was "passable". I had a steak the first time. Asked for well done but had to send it back as it was still pink inside. Had the Bond Burger the second time. Very little meat. LOTS of bun. Fries were good. I didn't win 😢

wide sandy beach full if surfers. you can get lessons right there. also watching surfing schools is very interesting. ocean is cold but few rocky lakes are okay to swim up to knees also for kids. a lot of peole playing beach games. you can get to this place from porto old town with train - urban line from camphana or sao bento station to espinho direction. the train stops right on the beach. the andante card is valid also for this lines. the train cca every 30 min.

Not a great experience.. the wind is blowing you out, huge waves which not allowing you to swim, it gets extremely crowded plus the sport games everywhere over your heads. You cannot even close your eyes as gonna be hit by a teenagers ball...

Best place to enjoy the beach in Espinho. Normally a bit crowded in August.

The pool is treated salted water from the sea. The pool itself is massive and there’s a deep end, shallow end and a separate pool for babies/children. The lifeguards are also friendly and you’re allowed to jump in to the pool. You need to pay extra to have sun loungers or a table with chairs but there’s benches placed around one side of the pool that are completely free. There’s a cafe inside with a great variety of food and drink. Staff are friendly. It’s also great that this place allows you in with your own food and drink. We visited this place about 4 times within a month, I honestly recommend it to anyone who prefers pool over the beach. The only downfall about this place is the toilets. They’re completely broken, run-down and there is never any toilet roll. They’re so disgusting. Recommendations: - Toilets need a massive upgrade and/or to be well maintained and cleaned. - Unused/empty area at the top could use with some benches/chairs/sun-loungers.

Staff not very helpful. Very tired in need of renovation. Nearly falling apart, which is a shame as it has a great potential for good swimming pool especially with it's history. Need to be saved and invested in.

Good vibes! this outdoor pool with view on the sea has all the facilities you need for a relaxed afternoon (Bar with the basics snacks/drinks) chairs to rent with umbrella, showers. For the sportive ones, you can swim your lengths in the Olympic pool filled with saltwater

I am deeply disappointed with the Oporto Golf Club. On October 6th, my 7-year-old son suffered a permanent injury, broken front teeth, the lack of supervision and club's response has been appalling. They refuse to take responsibility and have been dismissive of our concerns. They also deceptively increased the academy fees after we enrolled our son. I would strongly advise against joining this club.

Really wanted this course to be a seaside links hidden gem, but... the course is in the condition of a Muni Public course.. fairways are brown dried out, full of crab grass and weeds, no real definition of fairway and non-fairway. Sand in bunkers is just heavy dirt. Par 3s are real good, long and challenging with a really nice sbort one at 16. 18 is a really nice closing hole par 5.. Has potential to be a must play course with redesign and upgrade.

Tee time reserved for 9:00 arrived at 8:30; nobody around at 9:05 and only members teeing off. Caddie Master very unfriendly did not make any effort to help. No organization at all so ended up playing in Miramar 40 min latter. Definitely a club for members only so don't lose your time.

I rang to book for 3 people and ask to rent golf clubs Very nice people on the phone they told my the price was 50£ for game and 30£ for the rental each and I have to pay the clubs in cash and the rest in card so we took enough cash and is everything was ok Then when we go there was a extra 35 £ for a trolley and we have to pay cash When we complain that it was a outrage amount of money for a trolley and with didn’t had a lot cash on us we offer to pay with credit card and they refused So we had to use all our cash to pay for the trolleys and the staff where very rude and arrogant Please be careful when booked I have used other clubs in Portugal and everything was nice this one are rude arrogant and they stitch you up

Great course. Lack of buggies and the restaurant was closed so that was frustrating. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Everything you want to know about how the canning of sardines and other things brought Espinho to world wide fame. Actually far more interesting than I would have thought, thanks to the personal tour I received from Abel who is friendly and speaks excellent English. Beautiful museum and fabulous exhibition space for resident artists...or others. Really could be doing bigger things, recommend that artists, performers, etc check it out, so much potential! Especially in winter, visited in Feb 2018.

Really interesting museum with history of the old sardines and food factory as well as local village history around fishing and more. The food factory had an outstanding technology for the time and it served the Royal Portuguese family too besides exporting productos to Brasil and Europe.

Just thinking, look out into the sea from the window view on the first floor, this factory museum stretched out into the sea about two more blocks of street.

Interesting place, worth to visit. But there is no description in english. Google translator app helps a lot :)

We ordered a sea food rice but I must confess we didn’t like much… the rice was on a pool of liquid and overcooked and barely no seafood to compensate that… on top of that it has a excessive flavor to cilantro… was really invasive and inappropriate. Desserts were good, though. Service was good and kind and the ambient a little bit noisy.

The food was very, very good – we were really surprised! It tasted great but was a bit too oily. The service was friendly, but sometimes not very attentive. Still, we enjoyed it a lot and would come back.

One of the best dinner and service in my life. Fresh fish melted in my mouth, was soft like a cloud, big portion for 2 persons, amazing wine. Waiter was very attentive to us and very kind. It was great last day of our extremely good vacations in Portugal, im happy it finished on so great note and leaved amazing after-taste in my soul. Highly recommend:)

Fantastic Fish Restaurant right on the Atlantic. If you love fresh fish and want to eat it while looking out to the ocean then there is no better place to enjoy the fish the wine and the view. I had the monk fish and rice which was full of flavour and light.

Worst fries in all of Espinho so far, really soggy. Portions quite small for the price. Food is nothing special, nothing you would go back for. Apart from that, the waiters are really unfriendly and sometimes very odd, you don't feel comfortable during your stay.

Had a fantastic lunch. Also amazing desserts. Almost everything is vegan. The staff is incredibly friendly and speaks English fluently. Also fairly priced (2,4 for a dessert, 12,3 for a main, two desserts and a drink). Would recommend!

This is a vegetarian buffet where you point to what looks good and get served by a friendly grandma. Everything was delicious and they piled up my plate to the max. They even have home-made Kombucha made from green or black tea.

Today was our 3rd visit to the place. All the plates we tasted during our 3, visits were amazing, the staff is really sweet and the atmosphere is amazing. I love that you see a lot of elderly people eating there and that they know them by name. They made a vegan brigadeiro for the first time, and I will be calling ahead and ask that they do it again on my next visit.

I've been eating here for years. The food is fresh and healthy vegetarian food. You feel the quality and this is the place you need to keep going regularly for a healthy diet. Also, they are very quick serving food, so if you need a quick meal this is also the place to go. The ambient is very relaxing with calm and nice music. Today our meal was 2 fantastic vegetarian 'Francesinhas' (international famous Porto dish). This with drinks, 1 soup, 1 salad and 1 dessert was 17€ for 2 of us. Francesinha was 5,50€ and dessert 1,50€.

Great food, very easy going atmosphere and great prices! For someone that wants to get away from the meat dominated Portuguese cuisine it is a rare oasis! You can choose from a variety of different foods an compose you plate. Friendly staff and great relationship between quality of food versus price! Really worth visiting it!

Food was delicious, absolutely loved the arroz de marisco. My son loved his meal and dessert. The service was amazing and very kind with a great sense of humour. Making a reservation is highly recommended.

Are here for my 23rd birthday. Got the entrecote, medium rare. It was perfect and really tasty with good sides. We also ordered a sea mix, with shells, lobster, crabs etc. It was also tasty. Friendly staff and good vibes. It was a bit expensive, but if you want to spend money in good food, this could be the place.

Very nice restaurant, seems brand new, the service was very good. The food was great as well, the prices are a little steep though… But you get parking space and there aren’t that many restaurants bye the beach in espinho. The sea food seems very nice, especially the huge crabs(sapateira) I have never seen so big, been in many sea food restaurants as well as sea food markets. Will come to try them in future! :)

Absolutely loved our experience at Acabana! The octopus was incredible, and everything from the appetizers to the coffee was just perfect. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the place itself has such a lovely, relaxing vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

A proper restaurant with great food and professional waiters. We had roast pork loin, potatoes and green veg and the single portion was more than enough for the 2 of us. Highly recommended we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Delightful restaurant! I arrived 40 mins before opening (7pm by the way) and they were very gracious and still made me feel very welcome. Their mini starter platter had the best octopus I’ve ever had - it was exquisitely tender.

Great restaurant with delicious seafood and very good service. We had a grilled squid platter for 2 people at a great price and, along with some light appetizers, was all we needed for dinner. We also ordered a creme brulee that seemed to be prepared on the spot (it took a few more minutes to arrive but it was delicious).

Poor serving, food flavourless. An octopus poor mini salad with an additional dead fly on it make the start of what I call an waste of money and my time. The orders took long enough for what you receive on mediocre dishes.

Local family restaurant with nice staff and amazing dinner. We shared a big portion of fish and got some steaks on the side. Overall great quality of food and a delicious menu. We got quite a bit of free appetizers and some free desert wine. Their menu was in Portuguese, German, English and French. Best to come here when they open to get a spot as it’s quite popular.

Hey everyone, we need to support these local restaurants as much as we can. We had a flawless experience from start to finish. As soon as we were trying to say our orders and start a minimal conversation in Portuguese we were treated as royalty. Bear in mind I can't speak Portuguese but Google translate is your friend. The food was impeccable and we had the seafood specialty. Massive portion for two people. It was visible that this was a kind family run business. We haven't been charged for the wine for dessert and maybe it was because we tried to connect with the people. Anyways I recommend this small gem.

Great seafood, warm, friendly service, family-run place. Most of the crowd is local. Had the mixed seafood plate (1/2 serving - more than enough for 1 person). Just wonderful! And they are vegetarian friendly! They made a very thoughtful salad plate, with good sources of veggie protein. For a first dinner in Espinho, this will be hard to beat!
