Beach
Playa Hermigua is a serene and unspoiled shoreline where the rugged blue waves of the Atlantic Ocean meet the rocky coast. Despite strong currents, it offers a peaceful setting with picturesque views of mountains, a charming hamlet, and plantations. The beach provides stunning views from the western mountains but may appear run-down near the shoreline. It's an ideal place to experience the powerful ocean in relative solitude.
A beautiful view, sea and nature.

Very quiet beach with little facilities. I went swimming with my brother and the waves were a little strong. Not the best place to swim, but a wonderful experience if you're a good swimmer. Seems to be a nice spot for surfers too.
Varpu V — Google review
If you are traveling with Van you won’t find any bathrooms here. Also, the sound of the ocean is a bit too strong was really hard to fall asleep. Better go to La Caleta — quieter and 10 times nicer
Elena E — Google review
It’s pretty rundown and not great for recreation.
Mariska G — Google review
nice view but not for swimming
Simon B — Google review
Stunning views from the mountains to the west, but looks run down and depressing when you get to the shoreline.

A nice place to enjoy the storming ocean in relative solitude.

Scenic spot
Mirador de Abrante is a popular tourist attraction in La Gomera, known for its breathtaking panoramic views and unique glass-floored walkway. Perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking Agulo village, this viewing platform offers visitors the sensation of floating in the air as they gaze out over the stunning island landscape. The restaurant at Mirador de Abrante serves a variety of local tapas, international cuisine, and Canarian dishes, all while providing fantastic views.
A place with beautiful views of the ocean and the neighbouring island of Tenerife. In good visibility you can see almost 60km away. The glass bridge of the viewpoint, which is a tourist attraction, or rather the glazing is unfortunately not maintained and so the view is better outside this area. The viewpoint is accessible daily from 10:00 to 16:00. Outside these times the barrier from the crossroads on the access road is closed.

This iconic glass cantilever lookout is high above the picturesque village of Agulo. You can experience the stunning views and the beautiful panorama all around and across the ocean to the island of Tenerife, where the peak of El Teide volcano is clearly seen.
Radka T — Google review
An interesting place with a beautiful view of Agulo, the ocean, and Teide. We had wonderful weather. Surrounded by red sands. There’s parking and a restroom, but no bar.
Julia Z — Google review
Awesome view over the N-E part of the island! The entrance and the parking are free of charge. If you arrive here, go for a little walk right next on the red little hills.

Mirador de Abrante, is free to enter, 620 meters above sea level with a seven-meter-long glass walkway with breathtaking views of the north side of La Gomera and mount teide

This is very difficult to get to without a car. However, if you can get there, it's well worth the experience. We went on an incredibly windy day and we could feel structure being slammed into by the wind. It does give fabulous views of tge Town of Agulo below.

So cool. A little scary if you are afraid of heights but so beautiful

Impressive viewpoint - but the true magic is the crazy romantic Martian landscape surrounding it! By all means do not miss out on taking an hour or two to explore it. Unforgettable, one of the most special terrains on La Gomera!

Really beautiful gardens with lovely views! Ideal with young children. It's a pity the restaurant only opens at 1:30 pm

It’s ok, we were told is free but is not, they have some history there that is nice to read and see but I will not be disappointed if I would have skip it. You walk a bit around a garden also and they provide with audio guide that’s quite nice and it has a nice view

Super interesting especially if you want to learn about the culture and this beautiful island. Cost 15€ per person including a nice little tapas to try afterwards. The shop is interesting as it has alot of handmade things and has the syrup which you will hear about on the tour 😊👏

Good way to learn about the history of the island and it's agriculture and people.

This is a great spot. Cafe with good vibes. Local produce. Great restaurant. And small farm / museum. Highly recommended

This is a real experience to do in La Gomera! It has a beautiful garden full of fruits that grow in the island and gives, through the audio guide, the history of the faune in La Gomera. The personnel is very kind and the restaurant as well is very well (nice dishes with local ingredients, a bit pricey for the location but not for the quality) In summary a must do if you are in the island
AC — Google review
It's quirky!!! But informative and different. Work in progress but currently a little rough and ready. Cafe / restaurant attached was ok for lunch

Nice garden with mangos, bananas and papayas, a shop where you can try and buy native products. Great views
