Probably the coolest place on the island! Nice 20 degrees when everywhere else was 32! Gets busy on the roads so expect a walk to the entrance
(Translated by Google) You can get to the bottom by car although the road is very narrow, there is only room for one car and it is in both directions, it has some points where you can turn aside to pass. When you get to the bottom, the centers are all closed, including the water intakes. I don't know if it was because I went on a Sunday. It should be noted that everything has been renovated since the beginning of 2023. You can walk and see all the vegetation in the place. Keep in mind that there were no bathrooms or shops.

It's a nice beach with a friendly cat who seems to enjoy visitors. The cat was begging for food, and I noticed his food someone had left for him had gotten all wet from the rain. If you happen to see him, please change his food if its wet. The food is next to the toilet
Great beach! Perfect for a stop with a van. You have showers, toilets, barbecue area and cute cats running around
This is a very rocky beach with a difficult path to get there. Rocky roads and sometimes there was not enough space for two cars. There is enough parking and tables for picnics. Not recommended to swim or to go with kids. Wheelchair access or parking is not available. We just spent 20 minutes and left. There are better places to visit on the island. Not recommended overall.
Nice beach but not suitable for swimming. You can do a walk (ruta del azucar) that starts not far from there. Has parking.
Very nice beach, amazing scenery. When we were there, the weather was very bad, so I can’t say anything about swimming. However, one thing to be aware of is that the road there is very long, narrow and in bad shape (There are many places with steep drops and no guard rail, sharp rocks have fallen onto the asphalt). If you are uncomfortable driving on bad, narrow, roads, you should avoid this place.
Beautiful place. Toilets! Not safe for swimming most of the year. Local feastdays explain the picnic seats and shade. Sadly cafe no longer in use.
Absolut beautiful little pirate bay. The sea is too rough to swim (at least when i was there), but it is a lovely place to spend a day. There are sunbrellas and patches if sand, several tables with seating. And the route to the beach is spectacular in its own right.
Beautiful little rock beach. Not too busy, but we'll equiped with toilet, shower and changing room. Heavy waves, but a lot of fun with kids, building rock walls near the waves.

Really beautiful gardens with lovely views! Ideal with young children. It's a pity the restaurant only opens at 1:30 pm
It’s ok, we were told is free but is not, they have some history there that is nice to read and see but I will not be disappointed if I would have skip it. You walk a bit around a garden also and they provide with audio guide that’s quite nice and it has a nice view
Super interesting especially if you want to learn about the culture and this beautiful island. Cost 15€ per person including a nice little tapas to try afterwards. The shop is interesting as it has alot of handmade things and has the syrup which you will hear about on the tour 😊👏
Good way to learn about the history of the island and it's agriculture and people.
This is a great spot. Cafe with good vibes. Local produce. Great restaurant. And small farm / museum. Highly recommended
This is a real experience to do in La Gomera! It has a beautiful garden full of fruits that grow in the island and gives, through the audio guide, the history of the faune in La Gomera. The personnel is very kind and the restaurant as well is very well (nice dishes with local ingredients, a bit pricey for the location but not for the quality) In summary a must do if you are in the island
It's quirky!!! But informative and different. Work in progress but currently a little rough and ready. Cafe / restaurant attached was ok for lunch
Nice garden with mangos, bananas and papayas, a shop where you can try and buy native products. Great views

Powerful rock couple. From the back they are even more photogenic:-)

(Translated by Google) In contrast to other Roques on this island, Pedro and Petra didn't excite me that much. It was probably due to the not so great weather and the less good view of the two rocks. We then scrambled a little above them and from there we were able to take another interesting view of the Hermigua valley. (Translated by Google) DO NOT FOLLOW THE MAP SIGNS! Cuesta San Pedro is very steep, narrow, and two-way. If you stop halfway, you can't continue. We got stuck trying to reverse down the hill, and if it weren't for the locals, to whom I will be eternally grateful, we wouldn't have gotten out of there because Cicar didn't care, as they didn't have any 4x4 vehicles to tow the car. The rocks are very nice, but as I said, it's better to go from below or above, so don't follow the GPS signs. (Original) ¡NO SIGAN LAS INDICACIONES DE MAPS!

Nice little chapel that you can't visit. The hike to get there is wonderful. There is a picnic area and a fountain. Be advised that the water is not tested so it may not be drinkable (however I drank from it and did not fell unwell)
20 minutes down easy path for all ages ending at small church, fountain from a tree and a nice wooden bridge. Then either 20 minutes back up to parking (reservation needed in August) or a circular that goes back on the large road making a total of one hour and twenty minutes. Beautiful woods and shaded on hot day.
Fresh spring water flowing into a stream 20 metres away, with the water spouting out of a tree. Wonderful little walk in the woods.
Worth the short detour, idyllic location to have a break.
(Translated by Google) We took the route to the hermitage, from the contadero parking lots. All the way down, until you reach the small waterfall and some wooden bridges, then the path is flatter. It is a very beautiful and busy route. The hermitage is very small and nearby there is an oak pouring water through an artificial pipe, there are many trees and nature. The story goes as follows: Mrs. Stephan, or Doña Florencia as she was known, the instigator of the construction of the shrine, arrived in La Gomera to serve as a governess to the children of Don Mario Novaro Parodi, an Italian man married on the island and owner of a canning factory located in La Cantera, in the municipality of Alajeró. Upon retirement, Mrs. Stephan built the Casa de la Paz in Hermigua and set her dreams on building a shrine in the middle of El Cedro Mountain dedicated to the devotion of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Fantastic place to visit to see the history behind La Gomera. The lady at the desk was very helpful and even demonstrated how myself and my friend would be called in El Silbo, the whistling language of La Gomera, loved it thank you.
Fantastic little musuem, really friendly and helpful staff. So very informative about La Gomera's history. LOVED IT!!@
Very nice museum, you should defenitly visit to learn more about the culture in La Gomera.
OK. Small museum but worth while visit to put the history of the island into context.
Small exhibition. Not a great deal of information.

The exhibition of objects and materials is very curious, all with their explanations of what it was and what it was used for. It is clean and has wheelchair access. (Translated by Google) On March 18, 1611, Friday, the license to found the convent of San Pedro Apóstol de Hermigua, of the order of Santo Domingo, was granted by the provider and visitor of the islands of La Gomera and El Hierro, Roque Merino, before the notary Juan Delgado Salazar. The origins of the municipality of Hermigua are found in the El Convento area, more than 400 years ago. It is the starting point of the urban, demographic and economic development of the Hermigua Valley. In addition, the Dominican convent was a cultural center where reading and writing were taught and classes in grammar, rhetoric and theology were given. The origin of this area dates back to 1598 when the hermitage of San Pedro was built, replacing the old one, which was flooded in 1596 as it was located next to the Barranco de La Calle. Then, extensions attached to the first building - the current Del Rosario chapel - began to be undertaken, which resulted in the construction of the central nave of the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán and another chapel - of Santa Rita. Dominican friars from La Laguna and Seville began to inhabit the convent of San Pedro Apóstol in 1611. The friars prospered and went from living off begging to enjoying tributes and the transfer of lands and mills. Thus, in the 17th and 18th centuries, the El Convento complex experienced a time of splendor; works of art - altarpieces and sculptures - and land were donated by the wealthiest families in the valley. Also in the 18th century the convent was restored and expanded. In the 19th century, the Dominican convent of San Pedro Apóstol declined and closed. In 1820, the Confiscation of Mendizábal and a decree by which all monastic orders were suppressed led to the closure of the convent in January 1821. Then, the church passed into the hands of the bishopric and the assets and land of the convent were put up for sale and They became privately owned. From then until the 40s of the last century, the area was forgotten, then and thanks to the interest of the neighbors, the Santo Domingo de Guzmán church was organized as a parish. Currently, the church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán is restored and its access and surroundings are in very good condition, especially the Plaza de Armas area.

We (my girlfriend and I) did a 4 day "fastpack" around La Gomera, staying in different locations each night. Goyo picked up our luggage at place A and brought it to place B each day. Everything worked out perfectly, the luggage was always there before us. For holiday homes we left the luggage in the room, for hotels at the reception. The communication was done via Email and in Spanish (neither of us really speaks Spanish but Google Translate worked nicely here), we communicated our accomodations in advance with the estimated times of deparure and arrival, but we could also make adjustments on the go. We also met Goyo once to pay him, and he was very friendly. Overall, I'd recommend this service to everyone who needs their luggage brought from A to B while they are busy covering the distance on foot.
Goyo was very efficient, punctual and provided a very cost effective service. We used his services to have 6 people and luggage transferred while walking a trail on La Gomera. He did everything that we asked of him and was accommodating when we changed the pick up time on the last day.
I enjoyed the service of bags dropping to the next hotel during my 6day hiking tour in la Gomera. Goyo service always answers me quickly and offers a great service! I recommend!
Extremely good experience! Goyo was very helpful, knew the places, the good pubs, drinks, flora.... Always on time with his smile on 😁. Cold beers after a hot trek was also amazing! Fully recommended if you want to see the real La Gomera. And good prices!
Fantastic day with Mario who showed us round the sights of La Gomera. We booked a private trip with Jose and they had organised some car seats for the kids. They brought a 9 seater mini - van which was in great condition and very comfortable. We took a day trip with the Ferry from Los Cristianos in Tenerife. Gomera is a beautiful island, very friendly people, lovely nature and places to explore. Couldn’t recommend a trip there highly enough. It’s was great to do as a private trip rather than a busy bus trip. Mario timed some of our stops to avoid the buses so we had quiet times at the hotspots. It gave us flexibility with the kids if they needed some extra time, snacks or a toilet stop. We hope to return to La Gomera for a longer visit next time. Man Thanks
Excellent service. Picked me up from ferry port and transported my luggage around the island whilst I walked. Very friendly and trustworthy. Thank you!
Great reliable and friendly service. I used their bag transfer while hiking and everything went exactly as planned with them beforehand.
Our driver was great. He picked us up when we were stranded in El Cedro and navigated through the thick fog to Hermiqua. When he realised we didn't yet have a hotel for the night he called the local Casa Herrera and confirmed a room for us. It was beautiful! All this while not being able to speak one another's languages. Very grateful :-)
