German restaurant
Adams Gasthof is a historic inn located in Moritzburg near Dresden, offering a fresh market cuisine with regional specialties in an incomparable atmosphere. The gasthof has been serving guests since 1675 and is known for its charming ambiance and professional service, making it a top choice for large events such as weddings and corporate gatherings. With the possibility to dine both indoors and outdoors surrounded by greenery, this traditional German restaurant provides a lovely setting to enjoy German meals.
Good restaurant with good menu, nice location, amazing atmosphere , helpful stuff, who can speak in Germany, English and Russian, really friendly and professional. We had fun in this place. Strong recommend to visit this interesting and tasty place.

Food was good, wild boar meat wasn't my favorite, it was a wedding meal, so a bit busy, but service was generally okay

We stayed at a nearby hotel, this restaurant was only a few minutes walk away, and what a fantastic restaurant it is. We were very much welcomed on both occasions, food was excellent and the service was also great. Would highly recommended!

A traditional German restaurant offering German meals. It is a lovely place with pissibility to eat both outside in green or inside. We had Hirschgulasch, which was fantastic. As desert we had ice cream, which was just average, industrial, pistacchio one tasted artificial. The service was lovely, just a little bit slow, we had to wait quite long. When we ordered dessert, coffee was served first and long after it icecream was brought, meanwhile coffee got cold. The price was also higher but it is probably given by the location in Moritzburg. Overall, a nice place, we would visit again, when back there. It has its own parking space, which is great.

Well, it is very rare I give 5stars. But you were really good. Food of course. But at most I appreciate the service and organisation in the busy hour. Not discriminating foreeners and give us the feeling like we are your best regular customers will make us come back :)) thanks

The best German crispy duck and potato dumplings I've ever had! The other dishes were also very good. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Had to wait a while for the food, but we were a large party and as they say "good things come to those who wait"!

Won't be going back any time soon. The waitress was terse and unwelcoming and despite arriving at 7:15pm for dinner, she started turning the lights off in the restaurant at 8PM to push us out. No kids meals on the menu.

Excellent Restaurant, privileged place with outside gardens and historical touch. Good food and attention. Absolutely recommendable. Hope to have the opportunity to come back one day.

Restaurant
Caroussel Nouvelle is a chic restaurant located in the Hotel Bulow Palais, offering bistro fare with a French-inspired menu featuring global accents. The establishment has undergone changes, merging the Bistro and Restaurant Caroussel and appointing a new head chef. This fusion under the name 'Caroussel Nouvelle' aims to blur the traditional boundaries between Haute Cuisine and bistro cooking. With its stylish ambiance, this venue combines elegant fine dining with a relaxed lifestyle.
Very enjoyable cuisine with good service in a misfit ambience. But then again, the installations may come into fashion in a few years, but the food is already. Good wine pairing and nice choice of local wines. The food is worth the trip to Dresden, which is short of good restaurants. Would be nice to have more orange wines on the list. People, try orange wines, they are as complex as we are. All of us :)

Food and atmosphere and wine (Volnay) all great but the feeling that the parents have left the teenagers to run the show. They were all very sweet but… It was 40mins after we arrived that we got our bread and wine and then had an hour wait between starter and main. Shame because it could be amazing.

I had a late dinner in this upscale restaurant in Hotel Bühler. A perfectly seasoned beet-root salad with walnuts and fresh cheese was followed by a perfectly executed Wiener Schnitzel . My criterion for excellency when cooking your schnitzel is that you should be able to sit on it with your light grey flannel trousers without a single stain of fat being seen on your bottom. Wines by the glass to accompany my meal were excellent and value for money very good. Service was discrete and efficacious and my two waitresses could take a joke or two. Highly recommended!

We had the five course gourmet menue - with some swaps from the vegetarian menue to also test it and a great wine pairing with it. Expect five courses to be 110 euro plus 38 euro wine pairing - and to a great evening here! Intrigued by the idea of a vegetarian Foie Gras I went for it as a first starter: the texture was terrific - quite close to the original and the combination with the pepper sorbet was just great. Nice start of the evening. On the regular menu was the smoked eel with a great cucumber variation to go with it. The dish came with a great South African sweet wine. The Guinea Fowl soup was next with a Guinea fowl praline with truly great flavor and the essence has an exquisite strong taste. The vegetarian version was a fennel soup with a delicate Yuzu gel in the essence that proves to be great experience - the yuzu slightly overpowering the fennel but the combination is really an eye opener Then a nice Breton lobster tail with an upmarket version of the “Leipziger allerlei” … especially together with the German Chardonnay a great combination to enjoy some proper done dish That Saxon Saddle of venison (actually the more precise name is “Maibock” as there is no proper US/English word for the local game “Reh”) was the star of the evening - perfectly to the point, with a gorgeous sauce made to perfection. What a culinary treat !! The red wine that came along was full bodied and boasted with berries. To round things off, the rhubarb with a great Creme of Tonka and Mascarpone - what a nice blend of taste and flavors to finish a great menu. Generally to point out positively: we had a nice, pleasant and knowledgeable professional service which is not anymore guaranteed these days. Next to the two gourmet menus you can select from a regular a la carte selection too. So go there if you want to spend a nice evening with great food in a relaxed but still well catered for restaurant in the middle of a classical district of the town.

This lovely restaurant is very recommended, especially for the very attentive service and the over the average food quality. Only the strange design especially of the bistro interior is a setback. Overall highly recommended.
Norbert L — Google review
Service excellent, but actual flavours slightly confused. I had the truffled cauliflower and the orange creme brûlée and especially the cauliflower was great in theory but not very well executed (egg yolk consistency was off and the currant sauce did not work in my opinion). The Creme brûlée was decent but the orange and plum were also not a match made in heaven. The bread was quite good though. All in all, I would’ve expected a bit more from the food, but the staff was remarkably good!

ANTON. Kneipe & Restaurant is a delightful spot that captures the essence of German dining with its cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Guests rave about the homemade schnitzel, which many claim to be the best they've tasted in Germany. The menu offers a variety of options, including standout dishes like chicken Caesar salad and pork specials accompanied by fresh vegetables. While some diners felt that certain items could use more flavor or portion size, they appreciated the reasonable prices and helpful staff.
Good food, good drinks, good music, and good people. Can’t ask for much more.

Good place for dinner. Waiter was very friendly and patient with my broken German. The house lemonade was amazing! Also had the Weiner schnitzel with salad which was great. Great quiet location to sit outside for dinner.

Great food great beer. Got the schnitzel

Arrived at 8:30pm, but apparently the kitchen was closed even though the place is open until 11pm. I was told that the kitchen made meals for 4 tables at 8pm and then closed? The hours need to reflect the fact that it does not serve food after 8:30pm. A good place to wait a long time for a beer refill, if that's what you are into. Do not sit outside if you want any kind of consistent service.
Connor J — Google review
This is a great restaurant! Great beer and wine selection! The food is great! I have tried a couple of items on their menu now. The chicken ceasar salad with garlic bread was outstanding!! The one pork item (the special) with broccoli, carrots and cauliflower is awesome! The new York style Pastrami was pretty good too!
Preston C — Google review
Everyone was generally pleased with their food, though I think we all agreed that we were still hungry, and I found my schnitzel and potatoes to be lacking in flavor as well as quantity. The only decoration or accompaniment the meal had was salt pepper and a lemon wedge. That said, the price was right, the worker was more than helpful, and the environment was gemütlich
James O — Google review
The homemade schnitzel is the best I’ve ever had in Germany. Family run and the staff is friendly. This place alone makes me want to come back to Dresden.

The owner is very ill mannered, rude and rasict. Please have a look at his response to my rating below and I write this review after his response. I hosted two parties and had one bad and one good experience and decided on a 3 stars rating. The owner earlier wrote me a nasty rude email and now for the rating wrote "Akanksha .... You were 3 times with us and expect, for ... €, things that may work in India - but not here in Germany, and certainly not if you have to pay for it and not the dad. I hope that you will understand this in a timely manner. Please don't come back". I maintain that the place is nice and teh food is good for whichi had rated the 3 stars. However the minus 4 stars are now for the owner as I do not support a resturant where the hosts are racist and request people to reconsider before eating there.

Restaurant
Nestled on the outskirts of Moritzburg, Gasthof Bärwalde is a charming establishment that has been delighting guests since 1840. This traditional inn offers an inviting atmosphere where visitors can savor exquisite regional cuisine with a hint of French flair. The menu is thoughtfully curated and changes frequently based on the freshest local ingredients available, ensuring each dining experience is unique and memorable. Although it may be off the beaten path, those who seek quality will find it here in abundance.
We had a traditional 7 course French dinner tonight. Every course was perfectly cooked, especially the sauces that produced an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The wine pairings were great as well, having the right temperature and decantation.I would go back any time with friends and family that enjoy fine cuisine.

(Translated by Google) What a gastronomic pearl, hidden in a small village near Dresden. And to put it bluntly, we ate and drank extremely well. Everything is just right here. Starting with the classic, timeless and lovingly furnished guest room, through the very friendly service, to the fantastic menu, which in my opinion had no weak point. Great, great, great. Rarely has a restaurant I visited earned 5 🌟 like Gasthof Bärwalde. I'm sure we'll be back soon.

(Translated by Google) I spent a wonderful evening here with my fiancée. We were treated warmly and courteously. Gastronomy at a high level. Where else can you find a handwritten menu card? I can only recommend this insider tip near Moritzburg. (Original) Ich verbrachte hier mit meiner Verlobten einen wundervollen Abend. Herzlich und zuvorkommend wurden wir bewirtet. (Translated by Google) We were looking for a good restaurant and booked a table in Bärwalde. We unexpectedly ended up in a "fancy restaurant." There were only two menus: one for over €50, the other for over €80, and a 0.25-liter bottle of red wine cost €19.80. When asked if they had Aperol Spritz, the waitress said that customers there didn't ask for it. The food was good to very good. I won't go there again.

The prices are relatively high, but every bite is worth it. Be sure to reserve in advance as places are limited! (Original) Klein und Fein! (Translated by Google) Idyllically situated with a view of nature. We witnessed beautiful sunsets. The room is clean, comfortably furnished, and a good size. During the transitional season, with morning temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees Celsius, we would have appreciated a working heater in the bathroom. The towels didn't dry. The breakfast is typical of the region and sufficient. It would have been nice if the samovar for tea wasn't placed above the hot water counter. Overall, we were satisfied.
