Monterey

Monterey is a city on California’s rugged central coast. Its Cannery Row, one-time center of the sardine-packing industry, was immortalized by novelist John Steinbeck. Today, it's a popular strip of gift shops, seafood restaurants and bars in converted factories. Also famous is Monterey Bay Aquarium, with thousands of marine animals and plants on display in underwater and interactive exhibits.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Monterey Bay Aquarium is a renowned attraction located on a rugged coastline, featuring diverse exhibits such as otter habitats and touch pools. Tim Thomas, an esteemed historian and curator, has been involved with the aquarium and other local institutions. Visitors can also enjoy a delightful breakfast at Schooners Coastal Kitchen while overlooking the bay, savoring dishes like Dungeness crab Benedict or oak smoked salmon & avocado toast. The aquarium offers an enriching experience for nature enthusiasts and families alike.
Instantly a favorite. Purchased tickets online which made entry painless and quick. We loved all the unique exhibits. Every area of the aquarium had something different to offer, from art installations, kelp forrest, deep sea creatures, otters, outdoor area with seating, views and so much more. We loved that they sold snacks and beverages (alcoholic & non alcoholic). Passing time watching sea birds, listening to the ocean and searching for sea otters at their outdoor area was just blissful. The entire facility was absolutely beautiful. We paid $180 for our tickets and we definitely plan on returning.

My girls friends and I came into town and bought tickets in advance because we knew this was a must see and it did not disappoint. We started with the feeding of the sea otters which was so cute. Then we stopped for a quick coffee at the cafe. Everything in their cafe looked delicious. We enjoyed the many exhibits and enjoyed the touch tanks. There was do many things you could touch and see up close. I would highly recommend going. Couple tips buy your tickets online in advance and get there early it gets really crowded!

This aquarium boasts an incredible variety of species and is a perfect spot for quality family time. The kids were absolutely enthralled by the environment! It truly is a must-see destination in California. My personal favorites were the mesmerizing Sea Otters, Jellyfish, Penguins, and the immersive aquarium theater. A practical tip: The aquarium is huge, and you might feel rushed trying to see everything in one day. We highly recommend buying an annual pass—it's excellent value for money if you plan to visit multiple times a year and want a more relaxed experience.
Mahesh A — Google review
The Monterey Bay Aquarium is an absolutely world-class institution that I believe is well worth the visit, offering a truly immersive window into the Pacific Ocean's ecosystems. I found that it excels not just as a display of marine life, but as a dedicated center for conservation and education. The standout exhibits, which I saw are beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed, showcase the region's unique biodiversity. I think the Kelp Forest exhibit is a breathtaking, three-story spectacle, featuring towering fronds that create a dynamic, lush habitat for leopard sharks, wolf-eels, and schools of fish. Equally impressive to me is the massive Open Sea exhibit, where I was able to watch tuna, sea turtles, and dazzling schools of sardines swim past a spectacular 90-foot viewing window, which really emphasized the vastness of the open ocean. A newer, must-see addition is the Into the Deep exhibition, which successfully brings the mysterious creatures of the dark abyss to light. Beyond the major tanks, I noticed the Sea Otter exhibit is consistently a visitor favorite, allowing you to watch the playful, charismatic otters romp and groom. The mesmerizing Jellyfish exhibit was also an ethereal highlight for me, using controlled lighting to showcase the delicate beauty and graceful pulsing of various jelly species. The aquarium is perched right on the edge of the bay, and the Great Tide Pool and ocean-view decks provided a wonderful opportunity for me to spot wild marine life, including sea otters and sometimes even whales. While I know admission is on the higher end, I feel the quality of the exhibits and the aquarium's non-profit conservation mission justify the cost. Be aware that the aquarium can get extremely crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. To make the most of your trip, I recommend buying tickets online in advance and aiming to visit on a weekday or arrive right at opening time to experience the most popular exhibits, like the Kelp Forest and Sea Otters, before the large crowds arrive. I would plan to spend at least four hours to fully appreciate the two main floors and attend one of the informative animal feedings or programs. I can say this is more than just an aquarium; it's an unforgettable educational experience and a vital force in ocean protection.

Great place! When I went there there was a bit of a line, but it move quick. The animals were so interesting a wonderful and I learned a lot about the animals that like in the near by sea. Would definitely recommend for all ages.Great fun for everyone!
Simon — Google review
Informative and interactive exhibits. Bit pricey for how big it is. Membership is worth it if you visit twice a year. Feeding schedule is different and the fish doesn’t eat everyday so we missed the feeding of the tuna and sharks. They also didn’t feed crabs or clams to the otters but only put food in some toys. I was hoping to see them strike the clams with rocks and see how they’d eat. Saw a free educational center in Santa Cruz that’s sponsored by the aquarium right near the pier.
Owen — Google review
Hands down the best aquariums. It was incredible. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here. Highly recommend catching the otter feeding. Went on a weekday during the day and didn’t feel too crowded.
Jon L — Google review
oh my God. Best aquarium I've ever been to. I typically don't care about places like this but as we passed by the exhibits I was freaking GASPING. mesmerizing displays and fun little presentations and just a beautiful sea to go outside and watch. AUGH. highly highly highly recommend. ESPECIALLY if you love otters like I do <33

Cannery Row is a historic street in Monterey, lined with old sardine-canning factories that have been transformed into boutiques, restaurants, and hotels. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as dining at 25 different restaurants, including sports bars and fine seafood establishments. The area also offers opportunities for golfing, billiards, walking, cycling, kayaking, spa treatments, wine tasting, and more.
A perfect place for day outing from Bay Area. Getting 2 hours free roadside parking could be difficult. I paid $30 for whole day parking. Aquarium is 5 minutes walking from this parking. Small town, restaurants, gift shops, beach, aquarium you may enjoy here. More like historical valued city.
GetawayGirl — Google review
It's a nice place to shop and dine. I just wish the weather was a lot warmer. It's very chilly by the ocean, like 64 degrees, but 30 minutes out, it's 80 degrees.

Meh. If you like shopping for souvenirs and over priced food you would like this place. Pretty much the same as every other souvenir shop area but it does have a great view.

Gorgeous seaside views, fantastic restaurants, quaint shops; Cannery Row is an iconic oceanfront boardwalk attraction that is definitely worth a visit when you're in Monterey. Upon approach, it may seem that there isn't all that much to it, but once you're on the boardwalk, you realize that a lot of the good stuff is tucked away, a little out of sight, so exploration rewards the traveler. Apparently the aquarium here is also quite the draw, although we didn't pop in during our brief stay here. Lastly, the old Fisherman's Wharf, a little ways to the south-southeast, is almost an extension of all the things that make Cannery Row worth checking out: more shops, more restaurants, and more history. All together, one of the best attractions, and most exciting tourist destinations, in all of Monterey!

Old Fisherman's Wharf is a bustling waterfront destination in Monterey, located near Cannery Row. The area is filled with seafood restaurants, souvenir shops, galleries, and candy stores. It's a popular spot for tourists and offers activities like glass-bottomed boat tours and whale-watching excursions. Nearby dining options include sustainable seafood at Coastal Kitchen, baked goods at Alta Bakery and Cafe, and Italian cuisine at Montrio Bistro.
This wharf shopping, dining, and water adventure spot includes whale watching adventures. As part of the Monterey Coastal Trail, this historic shopping mall includes souvenirs, apparel, candy, sit down restaurants. And of course ocean viewing all around. One of the interesting parts of this tour is the sign at one restaurants that says NO STROLLERS. NO HIGH CHAIRS no STROLLERS. with no noisy kids allowed and just a few doors down another eatery sign says YES STROLLERS YES HIGH CHAIRS. YES STROLLERS so take your pick. We found great soft Monterey sweatshirts and saltwater taffy. And jumbo candy apples. I found caramel corn too. And the Zoltar the machine wants to tell me my fortune for a small sum. Great seafood eateries. The local theatre appears to be closed with a sign for a 2017 show. Lots of fun walking around and being able to stroll with ocean viewing Accessible entry to most venues Van accessible paid parking in garage.

I booked a whale watching excursion with Discovery Whale watching. I was not disappointed. We seen all kinds of whales. I was starving and the crew was kind enough to suggest Cafe Fina in the main row of the Old Wharf. If you mention the excursion they give a free cheesy garlic bread. It did not disappoint. Delicious, fresh Italian food. They are a long time restaurant thats been there over 30 years. A must try if you can.

We love the food here. Clam chowder is awesomely creamy. Jambalaya is great! You ought to try it. Calamari is free and soft, not chewy.

Old Fisherman’s Wharf is a charming spot filled with great restaurants, shops, and unforgettable views of the sea. A highlight of our visit was seeing a whale and sea lions in their natural habitat, which made the experience truly special. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing, perfect for strolling, enjoying seafood, and creating lasting memories.

We did whale watching tour here. It was amazing experience. We pre booked our trip and really enjoyed the 3 hour tour. The deck has so many restaurants, shops. You will get most of the stuff here. Overall quite a good experience

Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey is always a fun stop! Great place to hang out and people-watch—especially spotting the tourists braving the weather in shorts. 😄 The restaurants serve up some fantastic food (can’t go wrong with the clam chowder!), and the views are absolutely picture-perfect. You can even spot seals lounging around, which makes the experience even better.
Gina R — Google review
It’s small and charming, like you’re stepping back in time. However, with so many other options with more selection of shops and scenery, this one wasn’t a favorite. I preferred Cannery Row.
Rose T — Google review
It was nice to come back here again. This Wharf offers an assortment of restaurants and shops. A few candy and ice cream shops. Seafood galore! Souvenir shops at every turn, it seems! Individual vendors at the entrance. It provides a stage for talented musicians. It's even a popular hangout for wildlife from seagulls, pigeons, squirrels, otters, and sea lions. Lots to see and do for sure!

Historical place
Discover the rich history of Monterey by visiting the Monterey State Historic Park, which is home to a collection of significant historic houses and buildings that have played important roles in the region's heritage. The park features 12 buildings, including the Custom House, one of California's oldest government buildings, and several homes that now serve as public museums offering guided tours. As you explore the area marked by yellow-tiled markers, you'll learn about California's history.
Explored Monterey State Historic Park and visited the Pacific House Museum during a trip to Monterey in late June 2024. Perfect area to learn about Old Monterey. The park has many historic buildings to explore. During my visit to Pacific House Museum there was a fantastic collection of California Native Basket Weaving (Basketry) on the top floor. Guided and self-guided tour options are available.

We had Graham as a tour guide and he was amazing! It was so much fun learning interesting history about our area. I really wanted to see the California First Theater and I'm so glad the tour included that. Thank you to the State Park for running these great programs 🙌

Excellent source of Monterey early history. I highly recommend taking the 1 hour tour. The historic buildings are spread out, so you'll be getting in a little exercise, as well. Take your time soaking in everything. Fascinating information!

Should be named Dog Poop park. I was so disappointed to see off leash dogs and large piles of dog poop everywhere. Yellow patches of dead grass from the urine. This park has signs banning dogs but inconsiderate people have ruined it and no one seems to enforce the laws. Absolutely disgusting and filthy place that has so much potential for beauty and historical significance.

Museums
The Monterey Museum of Art, located in a historic estate, showcases contemporary galleries and a permanent collection of nearly 10,000 works of art. The museum's building is steeped in California history and offers visitors a glimpse into the state's artistic legacy. Additionally, the Agricultural History Projects mission is to preserve and promote the history of agriculture on the Central Coast.
Great local art museum. It is not big, you can probably spend 1-1.5 hours here. They show 3-4 exhibitions at any given time. The permanent collection is big, but only some of it is on display usually as a part of some exhibit. The exhibits change every 3-4 months, so you can visit it every 3 months and see new art.
Anna A — Google review
We had a great time at the museum. There was easy parking on the street. The sculptures in the park on the side were very pleasing. We were greeted and oriented to the museum by Kaliya who was wonderful even during our visit by making sure we were enjoying our time. I loved the free clipboard at the front to take while we wandered. The exhibits were phenomenal and well curated.

This was such a fun little museum. The pictures are absolutely amazing (some very talented people showcased here) and the ambiance is great.
Jamie L — Google review
Well, I did want to see The Jane Kim exhibit. It was small, interactive and interesting. But the staff hovering was a bit much. If we have to wear masks and socially distance (per signage) they should do the same. At $15 each ticket not exactly a bargain to spend an hour. If you go, stop here first, so if you are disappointed you can be cheered up by the very large, very FREE ocean and flora and birds! I saw a Peta sticker on a car outside. I mention this because in the CA exhibit was a mission on whalebone--ouch. I thought the flora fauna exhibit was very dull. Penelope Gottlieb's piece puzzling. To me showcasing Audubon as reference misses the mark. However, the pottery with butterfly the best piece in that exhibit. So my adventure ended very sadly because Colton Hall too was closed. It is across the street.

This family-run establishment has been serving up classic Monterey dishes since the 1950s and is considered one of the best seafood restaurants in town. The restaurant offers breathtaking views of Monterey Harbor and an impressive menu featuring a variety of fresh seafood options.
Tara was out server and took really good care of us. The food was amazing. It's pricier than what it used to be but well worth it. The weather was amazing. We got so we seals frolicking in the cove from our window table.

Don't let the outside of this place fool you. Walked i. And was greeted with smiles right away. Got sat in a great booth with a view of the water. The waiters were prompt and kept my table clean. The food was delicious. 10/10 would recommend and return.

A must visit for seafood lovers. They had good variety of options and almost each item tastes really good. We visited this place twice already and looking forward to many more. Their clam chowder is one of the best. The salmon, calamari and crab meat was amazing. They have a good amount of waiting time. We waited for around 40 minutes both times we visited. But it is totally worth it once you start tasting their seafood.
Sanjay K — Google review
Soooo good!! We stumbled across this while walking the pier and it was the best decision! We got a table next the water and luckily dropped in while they had a 25% of bottles of wine happy hour. For starters, ordered the “Monterey-style” clam chowder and calamari. It was the best chowder we’ve had and the calamari was extremely fresh. We could tell the squid was cut in house. We ordered two pastas that were phenomenal with the crab ravioli being our favorite. They surprised us with a free dessert!! Everything is reasonably priced. We highly recommend this place
Ami D — Google review
Came here for a birthday dinner on a Monday evening, with a wait of approx 30-40 mins for a party of two. Food is a little pricey but it's kinda to be expected with seafood, and we had a great experience. It was a cold night so the best thing I got was a mug of hot water haha, that was comforting. Oysters were very fresh, no sand or crunch! The Chowder is popular and definitely very good. The seafood sampler had some delicious crab cake topped with sweet mango. The Captain's plate was a fair portion with one tender peeled lobster tail. The plate of Cioppino was larger than expected and this is what she was craving for!--only to eat maybe 30% of it before we got full and decided to take it home. Everyone, especially our server, was very nice. Angel was knowledgeable with recs, and attentive with regular check-ins without being over the top. His service was quick, clean, and genuine. Ambiance was dimly lit for date night or other occasions. And ladies can leave with a complimentary rose!
Johnny A — Google review
Three of us walked from Cannery Row to the Wharf for a late dinner. Small wait was worth the trip. We ordered the crab tower to start. Plentiful and extremely tasty but for three sharing it, a serving spoon would have been helpful. We all ordered the garlic bread bowls of Monterey style chowder. It’s New England clam chowder, people!! :) It was served hot and was delish!! Sal, our waiter, was attentive but I felt like he was trying to upsell me :) we declined dessert because we were full. Sal brought us an extra bowl of chowder because our bread bowls were not to the brim fill (very thoughtful, I didn’t notice) so we took it to go for another member of our party that had already turned in. Sal gave me a long/-stemmed rose ~ very thoughtful! Our second trip, a meal you can count on!
Victoria K — Google review
We stopped by here for lunch today, as we’ve heard great things about the clam chowder. It most certainly did not disappoint! The head bowl with garlic butter is especially delicious and incredibly well toasted. Prices are high but it is the wharf, so it comes with the territory. Will return.
Ms D — Google review
The food was fabulous but most of all the staff was amazing. We got 2 of the mini pearl platters and two clam chowder in a bread bowl and our total was $211 but we would do it all over again. They also gave me wife a slice of cake for her birthday

Montrio is a unique dining spot housed in a converted firehouse, offering inventive New American cuisine and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant prides itself on its commitment to sustainability, using locally sourced and organic ingredients. With a vibrant mix of Italian, French, and Californian flavors, the menu has received acclaim from critics and diners alike. Notable dishes include crab cakes, seared scallops, lamb tenderloins, and sweet potato-pecan ravioli.
Wow, this place has very good food. I believe most of the other review says that all their menu itme is great. I had the pork belly with apple cinnamon and almond butter, the pork chop and bread pudding. All 3 were excellent! Their sauce is amazing and I can see why this place has such good reviews. I'll be back here again for sure next time I'm in the area!
Steve P — Google review
Decent experience overall. Highlights would include the crab cakes appetizer, which were almost entirely crab and not diluted too much breading. The fish sticks, which are presented as fun fish stick popsicles, or equally good. And although it may read a little oddly, the almond butter pork belly was probably my favorite of the appetizers. How far is mains go, the Kurobata pork chop was quite good, as well the Wagyu ribeye. A little less impressed with the scallop dish; although the scallops themselves were quite good, it was basically a large portion of risotto with four scallops on top; would’ve been better in my opinion with a smaller amount of risotto and added a vegetable or something along those lines.
Porschephilia — Google review
If you are in Monterey Bay and don't eat at the Montrio you will miss the best in town. It's definitely give stars quality modern American kitchen prepared by high class chef. We had crab cakes - the best ever. Duck breast was tender with delicious vegetables. Elegant inside with great atmosphere Excellent service. Everything was organic as I'm very sensitive and had zero digestive problems after. Plus, we were able to enjoy our dinner outside with our dog. ❤️

Visited Monterey over the weekend to celebrate my birthday, and my partner chose Montrio for my birthday dinner. We experienced an excellent dinner service with great cocktails to pair. Ambiance felt intimate and the staff made us feel special. Tip for those who don’t know, they provide complimentary bread upon request, so be sure to ask or they will not tell you about it. The corn creme brûlée was too sweet. The duck prosciutto combined with the creme brûlée tasted delicious, but it felt weird eating that as our appetizer when it tasted like dessert. Our mains were the pork chop and the scallops. The seared scallops were divine! Perfectly cooked and had a nice meaty bite to them. I thought the pork chop was also prepared very nicely. It tasted very similar to chinese siu yuk actually. Both of these large plates came with risotto, and maybe it’s personal preference but we found the risotto to be underwhelming. A bit too heavy, and did not hit the mark for us. The risotto with the pork chop had a sweet sauce on top that was a bit too sweet for our tastes. For dessert, we had a very decadent chocolate cake that came with pop rocks sprinkled on top. The pop rocks were fun because I have not had them in years, but too much since the cake itself was already heavy. We received complimentary sorbet for my birthday, and I enjoyed the sorbet over the cake. Thank you for the great service.
Ying Z — Google review
We came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and ordered the pork belly to start, then the scallops and the Cipriano. The service was great—friendly with thoughtful suggestions and pairings. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the same standard. The pork belly was overcooked and chewy, missing the rich, tender texture we were hoping for. Good flavor pairing with the pear. The scallops were a real letdown. They only seared one side, leaving the other side pale and unappetizing. The risotto they were served on was overdone and mushy. As for the Cipriano, it was just okay. It wasn’t brothy at all, more like a basic jarred tomato sauce. We really wanted to love the experience, especially for a special occasion, but the food just didn’t deliver. Would not go again, not for $300. Good plus 4 drinks.

Can't recommend this place enough. From being greeted by the hostess to being seated. Our service was amazing and attentive. There are plenty of beer choices. Such a good little brewery tucked into Downtown. Inside it was very cute but just crowded, they have seating outside in the back like a mini beer garden, so we sat out there and it was so beautiful and chill. They also have outside seating at the front of the building but I believe that is apart of the wait staff. They had a good selection of menu items, we didn’t eat so I cannot give comment on food. But drink wise, I got the Hibiscus Passionfruit cider which was so light and refreshing- not too many bubbles/fizzy. Overall great little space !

One of the better meals we've had in the Central Coast area. I had heard amazing things, but even with that expectation we were blown away. The scallop appetizer was wonderful, the lamb was perfectly cooked, and the desserts were incredible (particularly the chocolate torte). Will surely be coming back!!

It was our first time here, was recommended by a local. Went there on a weekday evening, and it was moderately busy. The ambience inside was nice, the host welcomed us in, and sat us at our table. Our server Paula took great care of us, and there was another server who took great care of us, with Paula whose name I didn't get. Now coming to the food, the Fried Calamari was great, as someone who tries calamari everywhere I go, it was really good, fresh, and melted in our mouths! The Duck Confit was another highlight, it was perfectly delicious, and the smoked chile potato cake that came with it was extraordinary, it was just so good!! The grilled shrimp was just okay. Overall it was a good experience, and would def recommend.

You cannot miss out this restaurant if you visit Pacific Grove. All dishes are well made. I especially recommend their scallops, lamb rack and rainbow trout . Also their desserts are Devine! I love the bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce with banana ice cream. The panna cotta and plum sorbet are also very delicious!

I simply love this restaurant. The classy yet cozy vibe. The attentive yet considerate staff. And most importantly, the food! I love the scallop appetizer. It is fun to eat various elements while the scallop itself holds the top place. The main dish: the duck confit along with the cake and brocollini is perfect. The duck is indeed falling off the bones with crispy part to enjoy. The duck is free of game smell and the fruit sauce allows the dish to stay savory and flavorful. The brocollini is fresh and young, very pleasant to eat along with tender meat. Lastly, the banana bread pudding and the ice cream ends the night with such a sweet dream. The caramel is perfectly sticky and there is a crispy crust at the bottom of the pudding. The texture of the pudding and the ice cream is smooth and righteously decadent. Well, I finish the whole thing by myself with the sense of joy. You should know by now that you need to try this place. Let me finish my essay now lol. You

After two weeks of driving across California and trying countless spots, this was hands down the best meal we had. Every dish was fresh, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented—clearly made with care and attention to detail. The service was just as impressive. Our waitress was fantastic—knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly helpful with the wine selections. She really elevated the whole experience. What made it even more special was the thoughtful touch from the staff. They had read our booking notes and went out of their way to make our engagement celebration feel truly memorable. It was a perfect evening from start to finish. Highly recommended!

We celebrated a special evening at Passion Fish in Monterey on August 15th with my friend who flew in from Texas. After a day of strolling around town, we wanted to treat her to a truly memorable meal—and this place delivered in every way. The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere welcoming, and the staff struck the perfect balance: attentive without being pushy, deeply knowledgeable about both the menu and the wines, and so kind that you instantly feel at ease. The food was simply incredible. We shared several dishes, and every single bite—from appetizers through the mains—was full of surprising, perfectly balanced flavors. We’re all pretty spoiled when it comes to good restaurants, and lately I often feel disappointed eating out, thinking I could have made it better at home. But not here—everything was outstanding. Passion Fish left us delighted and grateful, and it’s a spot we’ll absolutely come back to. A perfect Monterey gem to share with out-of-town guests and celebrate life’s moments.

The Sardine Factory is a renowned seafood restaurant located in the lively Cannery Row. It offers an upscale dining experience and boasts a diverse menu featuring regional dishes and an extensive wine selection. Guests can enjoy a luxurious breakfast at Schooners Coastal Kitchen, with options ranging from oysters on the half shell to Dungeness crab Benedict and oak smoked salmon & avocado toast. The restaurant's refined menu highlights seafood, with the ahi tuna salad being particularly popular among diners.
The sardine factory is incredible. One of the best meals we have ever had. We came to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The atmosphere in the greenhouse was tranquil and bright. The food was unmatched. We love seafood! Jose was an incredible server. A+ all around. Highly recommend if you want a luxurious evening out.

It was a spontaneous visit, but I already have the desire to come back for more! We got Attentive and welcoming service. The place is transporting you right to the Bohemian restaurant in the heart of Europe. We adore sitting indoors as much as an outdoor mansard. And speaking food-wise. Ah! Every dish was freaky dame, delicious and perfectly combined to deliver the best tasting experience! Thank you, and see you soon again!

We had an exceptional experience at the Sardine Factory! Don was attentive and Pedro made sure our table stayed cleaned and cups refreshed. The lobster with stuff crab had me tickled with joy! My husband had the rib eye and ate eagerly and quietly as he stuffed it down. We also loved the escargot as it melted in our mouth. This was our 20yr wedding anniversary and it was perfect! Can't wait to come back 🙏

Had great experience at the sardine factory! The food was amazing! Specially the steak was so so good and everything was so fresh and well seasoned. The service was very friendly. It made our dining experience present and comfortable. Thanks to Jimmy the manager and then the owner. We also hung out at the bar area for live piano music, and that was amazing and had so much fun. Must try spot if anyone is visiting the area! Thanks for making our visit memorable!

First I have to say service here was so good. Brandon really took care of us. He was really knowledgeable and had a great attitude and not just with us. With everyone around us too. He is damn good at his job. The food was amazing. Clam chowder was different. But it had good flavor and served hot. The Cesar salad with sardines was great. Crunchy lettuce and salted fish. Im not a huge fan of sardines but that salad had flavors that worked together. Sea bass and lobster fettuccine were on point and cooked perfectly. The fresh bread was hot and fluffy. The grilled prawns were big and seasoned great. The Kahlua cinnamon gelato was rich and delicious. It has a coffee chocolate taste to it. We loved it. It is pricey. But the quality of the food is worth it. Parking sucks. But not impossible. I Definitely want to go back. The decor was cute and all the servers were nice, fast and efficient.

I celebrated one of the most memorable birthdays of my life at this restaurant. From start to finish, everything was simply outstanding. The evening began with a warm and personal welcome from the owner, who greeted us kindly knowing we had come all the way from Switzerland. The food was exquisite a perfectly prepared seabass and lobster tail, followed by homemade sorbet beautifully presented in an ice swan sculpture, and rounded off with a rich chocolate cake and tiramisu that were both divine. Every dish was a masterpiece. The service was flawless every waiter attended to us with genuine care and professionalism from A to Z. To crown the evening, the manager personally took us on a private wine cellar tour, showing us rare old wines, rums, and antique furniture. It was a unique and unforgettable experience. It is no wonder that many famous personalities have dined here. For us, it was truly one of the most beautiful birthdays we could imagine. This restaurant is highly recommended, and we will always treasure the memory and definitely return.

As we were in the area for our 55th anniversary and with some very good friends who had never been to the Sardine Factory, we had to go. The Sardine Factory is always very good. Made the reservation online, very easy. The service is always top notch. Very attentive, friendly, courteous, professional. We ordered of the small bites menu and it was perfect. Started with oysters Rockefeller, which were delicious. Two in our group had the Ribeye steak sandwich with onion rings and French fries and came with a wedge salad, they said it was very good, delicious and excellent. Another had the calamari and it also was very good. We all highly recommend the Sardine Factory if you are looking for an excellent meal, top quality service, in a great setting.

Lovely and lively! The service was friendly and prompt. They made sure to refill drinks and checked in often, but not too often. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the ribeye steak and added on the lobster mac n cheese to share with the table. Everything was very flavorful. I also had the Paloma cocktail, perfectly mixed. For dessert, I had the cheesecake. The raspberry coulis was the perfect touch to it. They had live music with a good variety of songs. Had us all moving in our seats and singing along. The women's bathroom was also very beautiful. Great visit overall. Would definitely recommend.
