Manchester

Manchester is a city on the Merrimack River in southern New Hampshire. The Currier Museum of Art features works by major American and European artists. It also operates the Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Zimmerman House. In an old fabric mill, the Millyard Museum traces how the nearby Amoskeag Falls shaped the city and its textile industry. Trails in sprawling Derryfield Park lead to the 19th-century Weston Observatory.

Museums
The Currier Museum of Art boasts an extensive collection of both European and American art, ranging from the works of Monet to O'Keeffe. The museum also features a wide selection of decorative pieces in its expansive space. Visitors can expect to see a variety of modern and contemporary art alongside American crafts, including several paintings from the Hudson Valley school. Notable highlights include pieces by Picasso and Van Gogh, making it a highly recommended destination for art enthusiasts.
I cannot tell you the last time I was this entranced by an art museum. It is the perfect size to absorb in a visit, not overwhelming or complicated. Well-curated with regularly rotating special exhibits. They also host special events every 1st Thursday of the month from 5-8pm where admission is free and they have a speaker come talk. There is also a very tasty cafe in the middle of the museum. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I've been to museums all over the world from the Getty to the Met to the Louvre, and from free parking to congenial ticketing to the cafe and galleries, the Currier is in my top favorites. It's such a cool space and history of how the museum came to be. Mix of modern and classic. The cafe has maybe 75' high ceilings, very airy, fantastic coffee and food menu. Thanks to the Curriers for making it possible! The tour of two Frank Lloyd Wright houses was well organized, informative enough to have felt like a true lecture, and very convivial with the guides and guests. Totally worth a drive specifically to the Currier for the museum and home tours (which you can check the ticket availability online. Museum entrance is currently included in the house tour ticket price.)

I try and immerse myself in as many art museums as I can. While I am not a fan of modern art, I found that this collection was a great blend of combining different aspects of art, and they have a great amount of space, and their staff was pretty great too. I can’t wait to go back. And the lavender lemonade at the cafe was pretty great. ❤️

The Currier is a charming and interesting gallery of some lovely pieces. We went for the tour of the two Frank Lloyd Wright houses that the museum owns which was well worth the costs. Make sure you get your tickets in advance!

We came over for the kick-off event for Manchester art week and had an awesome time. This museum is amazing! We will definitely be back for the furniture exhibit next month!
Douglas D — Google review
Staff and volunteers are fantastic! The museum has a few pieces from Masters, which are worth visiting. I'd never gotten the appeal of Picasso from pictures of his work. The real thing is totally different. But this collection has a fantastic depth for a small museum. Lots of paintings, and there's sculpture, glasswork, a handful of stunning cabinets and a gallery of modern pieces that are fascinating. Easy parking, reasonable entry fees and benches all over make this a comfortable visit, too. Staff and volunteers were lovely balancing letting folk absorb and giving information. Love the gallery of staff favorites!
Melissa T — Google review
Went to an after hours event to promote new permanent exhibit of New England woodworking artists. The exhibit shows a much higher artistic level beyond that of mere furniture builders. Each piece cherishes the beauty of the wood and the dichotomy of form versus utility. What is the essence of chair-ness? Are these objects truly made of pieces, or have they emerged fully formed from the earth? Highly recommended.
Doug H — Google review
An excellent mid-sized museum. Large collections ranging from ancient to modern. Wonderful gallery space and the cafe’s food was great. I am beyond impressed by their not 1 but 2 excellent Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian homes available for tours. Both are in remarkably good condition. We went way way out of our way to see this museum and it was so very worth it.

Theaters
The Palace Theatre, established around 1915, is a non-profit performing arts venue that features its own theater company and youth troupe, as well as occasional guest music and comedy shows. The staff is known to be incredibly friendly and helpful, while the theater itself boasts stunning architecture with a rich history behind it. With excellent seating arrangements including balcony seats in the front row, families can enjoy top-notch performances ranging from acting to singing and dancing.
Awesome place! The staff are so friendly and make it so easy for someone with very little to no artistic talent to paint something that actually looks good when done. We did a pet your pet night and we’re definitely going to go back and finish painting the rest of our pets that we weren’t able to get to that night.

Outstanding performances! Love the theatre! Old school charm and elegance. Very clean. The ushers are very kind and helpful. There is a small bar. Bathrooms clean! My husband just recently became members and can't wait till the next show!!!

Amazing, beautiful venue. Went to see Jesus Christ Superstar there. Absolutely beautiful theater and the show was amazing. Beer was a little pricey, but not insane. This venue is definitely worth a trip to if there is a show you want to see there. I will be going to see A chorus line there next.

Beautiful theater that’s historic and charming! Kept up with so well and wonderful, Broadway worthy shows there! Emma Favorite does an exceptional job with lighting and incredible detail with the stage sets! We will go back again and again!

Went to see Dancing Queens this weekend, what an amazing show my daughter and I loved it, also the ushers were very nice and helpful, super accommodating, had the best time
Ginny B — Google review
The "Bodyguard" far exceeded our expectations. The cast was amazingly talented from the dance to the acting and especially the voices on the characters. I only gave it five stars because I couldn't give it. 10. What a great experience!! The staff and volunteers at the show are always so friendly and appreciative to have our business. I actually became a member to this non-profit organization!

The Palace Theatre in downtown Manchester is excellent. It is historic, beautifully maintained, and always feels special when you walk in. I have seen a few comedy shows here before and always enjoyed them, but this past week I took my family to The Bodyguard musical. None of us are musical fans, yet the show was genuinely great. The sound was perfect, the performers were talented, and the entire experience was smooth from start to finish. The Palace is a true Manchester treasure and worth visiting for any show.

This place is so quaint and amazing. We've seen plays here, Recycled Percussion and each time we come we are impressed. I don't think there is a bad seat in the whole place. Parking isn't too bad because there is a garage right across the street and street parking if you can get it. It's right near some incredible restaurants too.

Saw Phish play there for the Saturday night of a 3 night run! Wish I could've gone all three nights! Great time and a great arena. Don't think there's a bad seat in the house!

What a great facility! New and modern. Big enough for our commencement ceremonies and small enough to feel what’s going on. Acoustics were good. Parking was not convenient and had to walk around to find the right entrance.

Stadium
Sights & Landmarks
Northeast Delta Dental Stadium is a sports complex that hosts Minor League Baseball's New Hampshire Fisher Cats, as well as various concerts and events. The stadium provides an enjoyable experience for all ages with its clean facilities, easy access, and friendly staff. Despite some concerns regarding the audio quality in the back rows of seating, it offers great views of the park and fantastic sightlines overall. Moreover, it is much more affordable than larger leagues' stadiums.
Great little ballpark to catch a game in Manchester. Parking is a pain point. The seats were good and feel of the stadium was cool. People were nice and staff were helpful. Team looked good and beat up on the Sea Dogs that night. Good luck this season.
PJ K — Google review
We had a great 1st experience! I love the hotel option right on site. We decided that is definitely something as a family we'd love to do next time. Parking was right by for $10. You can buy a parking pass for it ahead of time to save money but only until the night before. It wasn't really a huge saving. I love how family-friendly it is. My kids had a blast! See you again soon!
Megan L — Google review
Very cool stadium and we were excited to see the Fishercats play. However, the day we drove three hours to get to the game, management waited until the last minute to cancel the game. It seemed like they could have canceled the game earlier and saved us the drive. I understand summer is short in New England and they want to get as many games in as they could, but we were a little disappointed. Hopefully we can make it back for a game some other time.

Lovely little stadium. Great seating all around. Kid zone, but it costs you $5 for it. Concessions are what they are, but a great spot to see a balk game! Really can't beat it for the price! Just a good time with something for everyone.

We walk the heritage trail along the river. A great place to walk your x dog, ride your bike or run many people take small children in strollers. Paved and safe for e-bikes’
Brian C — Google review
Just fine. Maybe I’ve been spoiled with other minor league ballparks but I was disappointed. Though the prices were good throughout, the lines were atrocious. I don’t know if it was due to staffing or what, but EVERY single line was 10+ deep. The game itself was fun, but the facility is showing its age, the bathrooms were dirty and messy and there was a huge blank spot in the scoreboard. Additionally, the MPH for pitches wasn’t working. I drove a couple hours to visit, and won’t be back anytime soon.

The park's well-maintained sports fields provide ample space for outdoor games, while the one-mile trail through the woods is perfect for jogging or walking with plenty of shaded areas.
Great mile walk around the pond. Clean, maintained walking area. Bathrooms on site. Playground for the little ones. Picnic areas. Beautiful spot!

Given its location, visiting Livingston Park surprises me every time 😊 It's located in a very convenient location, and there are plenty of side trails worth exploring! The main loop, approximately a mile in length, is designed for everyone. Its level terrain and accessibility make it an inclusive trail that welcomes all, regardless of their hiking experience.

Nice well used circular trail the pond is great to view. There a few places to stop and just enjoy the pond. It nice seeing a variety of people getting enjoying this in town gem.
Kaaren W — Google review
Puppy Approved! Charlie and I went for a walk around the pond late afternoon/early on a Thursday evening in mid-August and, unsurprisingly, arrived to see a lot of activity in the park. The playground looked manageably busy, the fields had soccer games/practice with what looked like a an adult league, and a pretty steady flow of walkers, runners, families with kids, couples, and dog walkers around the pond. We didn’t make it to the pool or the track but I did see quite a few cars over by the track. Despite all of the goings on, parking was a breeze. The sidewalk near the parking lot and restrooms had a couple spots that could have used a cleanup but overall the trail and adjacent benches, offshoot trails, and openings were clean. It is Manchester so, unfortunately, there is a risk you may find a discarded needle somewhere but we didn’t see any. The people we encountered primarily appeared to be there for recreation although there was 1 gentleman that seemed a little out of place. We’ve found it to be safe but don’t take it for granted - you should have a phone when you come. Doggy bag dispensers were empty so make sure you come prepared. The park is a great resource to have in the city and overall it’s a great place to get outside and get moving. Charlie gets excited anytime we drive anywhere near it now.
Ryan T — Google review
Lovely little spot for a peaceful stroll or reading on a bench. The grounds are well-kept, with mature trees providing shade, and you’ll find a calming, quiet atmosphere even within city limits. Great place to pause and unwind for a few minutes. We usually walk around the pond (1.2 mile loop) that's well maintained and pet friendly
Sampath D — Google review
I've always enjoyed the walk here. Well maintained. Not to long, not to short. Scenic all seasons. Ducks hang out in the pond. Great place for a picnic, if people would pick up after themselves:( Public bathrooms available, not outhouses. The bathrooms are a little beat up but useable. Playground active with children. Manchester public pool next door. Update: June, 2020; Still an enjoyable walk! Listening to birds, seeing chipmunks and a family of ducks, people fishing and on their canoes. Moderately busy. Picked up, but, trash cans were overflowing. Bathrooms were closed. Update: July 2025; Access to the Dorrs 🎵 Break on through to the other side!🎵 Pond Trail is the highlight of the Park. My kids and I enjoy the walk here. The pond, not named Amy, is used for ⛸️ skating in the winter ❄️. There is a paved small boat 🚢 access available. I picked up a shopping 🛍️ bag worth of trash 🗑️ along the trail. I have been on trails in Manchester that have been worse. There is a makeshift bridge that leads to Pine 🎍 (?) Tree 🌲 Island 🏝️. The small island is in good 👍 shape but I think 🤔 it was used by the homeless people once. This park is popular and I have seen out of state license 🪪 🍽️ plates here.

Love this park. You can run, jog, walk or enjoy playing with the kids on the playground. Plenty of parking, it's free, and dog friendly. There is a large sized pond. I've seen kids fishing. There is a little boat launch. Trail is easy to walk. There are a few bridges. The walk is a mile loop Just a beautiful park.
Brenda C — Google review
Great place for a one mile hike around the pond. The paths are maintained well, and the park is teaming with water fowl, including ducks, geese and herons. The little bridge and wooden footpaths are wonderful. There are restrooms available right off the parking lot.

Chicken restaurant
Puritan Backroom Restaurant is a laid-back establishment known for its classic American meals, particularly its famous chicken tenders. These tenders are said to be the best around, with a perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavors in the lightly breaded strips. The restaurant offers a charming atmosphere with solid service and clean surroundings. In addition to the renowned chicken tenders, other dishes like scallop rolls and steaks are also highly recommended.
I finally had the chance to visit Puritan Backroom in Manchester, NH — and wow, it completely lived up to the hype! The famous chicken tenders are hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired with their signature duck sauce, which is somehow both sweet and savory at the same time. Just incredible. One plate came with crispy golden onion rings that were light and not greasy, and another with fries that hit that perfect salty crunch. Service was friendly and fast, even with a packed house. The atmosphere is welcoming and full of local charm, you can tell this is a spot people have been coming to for generations. If you're in New Hampshire and haven't eaten here, you're seriously missing out. Puritan Backroom is a true local gem and worth every bite. 10/10, I’ll be back again (and again)!
Mike F — Google review
Local to the area Will recommend Will return Decided it was about time to try the chicken tenders the famous chicken tenders. I ordered online and drove to pick up. It was very easy convenient and fast. When I got there, the order was ready and it was very hot and it had all of the stuff that I ordered properly in regards to the four different flavors of sauces I didn’t add any flavoring to my chicken tenders. The portion size is perfect for two hungry adults and even at that we had a leftovers for the next day. Without any sauce, the breading on the tender is not a breading so to speak it’s almost like a powdered rub not saying that’s a bad thing just for people with textures and wondering if they’re breaded The meat was very juicy very tender size of the tenders were great and there’s this sweet taste to them. I’m not sure what it was, but that was good and I didn’t alter the flavor or the taste at all by adding any salt because I didn’t need to. price forget about price this was a great price for the amount of food you received and for the quality of the tenders
Lady C — Google review
I usually love the food here. Chicken tenders are the best and that's needless to say. However, in my recent visit, I got salmon. It was overcooked and dry for some reason. I am guessing seafood isn't the specialty? But everything else was great. The service is always amazing and atmosphere is always welcoming.
Radha T — Google review
Kicked things off with the chicken quesadillas and wow… SO good! Then we had the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and honestly, they hit the spot. Crispy, tasty, and super satisfying. Definitely a place I’d go back to when I’m craving comfort food! 🤤
Eileen — Google review
I think my chicken tenders were stale because they were not juicy or flavorful. The portions were great but wish the waitress had told us that it was enough tenders for two people. I ordered the full tenders and chicken and fries for my two year old. Way too many mediocre chicken. Would have wasted less food. My husband loved his steak and cheese sandwich. Didn’t try the desserts but wish we did because they looked great. Don’t go if you’re in a rush. Waited for the check for about 20 minutes.
Lauren D — Google review
I got takeout so I cant comment on the atmosphere. The chicken tenders were certainly better than the average, but so is the price. The duck sauce and coleslaw were really sweet, almost like a syrup. For the so called inventor of chicken tenders, you just get what you pay for. The ice cream is good, but generally slightly more expensive pound for pound compared to most places. I still found a Kiddie size to be plenty for me. The line for takeout wasnt long, but they still take a bit to get to you.
Ben C — Google review
Food wasn't great. Waiting staff was extremely racists. I was not immediately seated like the pair of two white men who came in AFTER me. In addition, all the other tables around us were given bread but our waitress did NOT bring it over. We were ignored and I will not be coming back.
Jennifer T — Google review
I’ve had plenty of meals here during my undergrad years in the late 1980’s; it was just as great now as it was then. The place is brighter and still busy on a Friday lunch. Keep being awesome! Thanks.

Bar & grill
Cotton Restaurant is a trendy spot in Manchester's Historic Millyard District, offering modern American cuisine and creative drinks in a stylish setting. The restaurant features comfortable modern banquettes and an inviting atmosphere with framed photos and posters adorning the walls. Chef Jeffrey Paige, the award-winning owner, presents American favorites with a sophisticated twist on the eclectic menu. Dishes like crab cakes and Retro Meatloaf are among the popular choices.
Local to the area Will recommend Would return Meeting with family that we haven't seen in a really long time, found reviews to restaurants in the area that we live in this one came up had some wonderful ratings so we decided to try it. Also took a look at the menu and read a couple reviews. Made reservations which I'm very glad we did because it's a small restaurant and they were jampacked and we had reservations for 4 PM. We originally planned to have it for six but they were already packed and we called the day before, the area that this restaurant is located in. You would not think that it would be a top notch restaurant and have as many people as it did Our waiter whose name was Brian was very efficient and knew what he was doing. He understood. This was our first time at the restaurant and he gave us enough time to order. He separated our appetizers from our main course. He gave us time to chitchat. I thought the size of the restaurant was OK. It was a little loud because of the size of the area. It was I felt dark in the restaurant that's the type of lighting that they have that wouldn't determine me or keep me away though The prices at the restaurant for a meal were roughly $20 and up per person The portion size was great. The temperature was great. The flavoring was on point. I found the jambalaya to be a bit spicy, but still edible. Definitely if you're in the area, I would recommend stopping at this place and trying it out

10/10 recommend! We came here on a "friends night out". The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was perfect for a gathering of friends, and the food was really really good. It was quiet enough that you could hear everyone talk, which is rare. The food came out rather quickly. I got the salmon and it was exceeded my expectations. Typically, when you go to a restaurant, you know their food will be pretty good. At Cotton, the food was G-O-O-D. We will definitely be returning here again!

I am not sure I’ve ever give a restaurant 5 stars across this board but this place deserves it. I feel like it’s rare to get great food, great service and great ambiance anywhere these days, but not here at Cotton. It was all fabulous. The food was delicious and comforting. The service was also great. ALL of the staff were so genuine. I observed 3 different servers and they were all amazing with their guest. I was blown away. The outdoor patio was adorable and cozy. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner last weekend. Everything was absolutely delicious! We loved everything about this place and we will definitely be back. We went on a Sat night and made reservations 2 days prior. We wer sat right away and got drinks in a reasonable amount of time. Our dinner also came out without too much of a wait. Waitress was friendly and food was SO good! I got Goat Xheese raviolies and they were probably the best raviolies I've had in a very long time. My husband got the Delmonico steak and it was cooked perfectly Med/rare that he asked for. Dessert was apple crisp cheesecake. Loved the whole experience!

The service from a waitress, whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, was great. She was fun and friendly, and we really liked her! Pistachio Martini - OMG SO GOOODDDD The food was delicious. I ordered meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes were creamy, just the way I like them, and the meatloaf was so good! I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back often! The only downside is that it closes at 8:30PM

Barbecue restaurant
KC's Rib Shack is a laid-back spot with a diverse selection of BBQ and beer, housed in a casual setting adorned with music memorabilia and license plates. The portions are generous, and the starters are substantial enough to be meals on their own. Despite potential wait times, the food is well worth it. The beef brisket and chili are particularly outstanding, while the drinks hit the spot. Families will appreciate the kids' menu available.
Stoked we found this place! The layout was setup with different levels - a dining room on the first floor, an upper level with a great sports bar and a nook tucked away in the loft of an old barn turned restaurant is really cool. The food was incredible with tender, moist BBQ and some creative sauces and sandwiches. The back patio with a tiki bar and live music really was the perfect place for a summer day. Would be great for Sunday football or to break up the drive going to the lakes region. One of the best BBQ spots we've found in the Northeast and definitely worth checking out!

For my last night in Nashua, I decided to drive up to KC's in Manchester. It was a good choice. Sitting at the outside bar, 75 degrees, a local IPA, wonderful brisket, and a super bartender. It was a perfect meal and evening before flying home. I will be back next time I'm in NH.

Ashley was a lovely bartender however I have a real problem with their brisket. Thin dry lean zero flavor - the issue I have is their special comes sauced, a huge red flag. Good spare ribs good rice good sausage. I would advise against the onion rings..... Their unique homemade bbq sauces were amazing especially the carrot habanero

KC Ribshack Manchester NH May 24, 2025 We arrived early in the evening and were immediately seated upstairs (neither of us had ever even been upstairs at KC’s). There’s a full bar, surrounded by hightops. We were sat at one of the hightops. We were warmly greeted by our server Kristen. For drinks I ordered a Sam Summer, and she got a Corona with a Salted Glass and lime. We couldn’t decide between the PBR Onion Rings and the Fried Pickles as an app. We told Kristen we were on the fence about it, and just told her to pick one for us, don’t tell us, just bring something. She said “Really?” Yep. Our app came, and it was fried pickles. Most places do pickle chips, not KC’s, they do pickle spears. They were served hot, with a side of ranch dipping sauce. The fry on the batter was crisp and delicious and it stuck to the pickles very well. Kristen stopped back by to take our mains orders. We ordered a couple drinks first, I ordered an Old Fashioned with Bulleit Rye and my wife ordered a Moscow Mule. Both were good. She said her Mule could use a little more lime. My Old Fashioned was slightly sweeter than I like it, but we’re being nit-picky. My wife, for her main order, ordered a Large Wing (so she could get 2 flavors) with half Jerk and half Spicy Caribbean. When Kristen looked at me, I just told her that I was having whatever she recommended. “Like, anything?” Yep. I told her if it comes up, burgers medium and other beef medium rare. “This is overwhelmingly fun!” The mains came, my wife got the wings she requested. They were cooked very well. Nice and crispy on the outside, appropriately sauced. The seasonings that she chose weren’t incredibly hot, but did make her lips very hot, which was interesting. We took most of them home, as she had already decided on a dessert (more on that in a minute). When my main came it was some sort of sandwich, I wasn’t sure what it was. It had brisket, bacon, and some sort of condiment on it, served with a side of dirty rice. (I didn’t know it at the time, but it turned out to be the Brisket Bacon Swiss). The condiment turned out to be a horseradish mayo. The sandwich was very good. There was plenty of brisket on it, and appropriate amounts of bacon and mayo. I practically inhaled it. The dirty rice was solid, well cooked and well seasoned. “The Rule” is that I play this game (letting the server pick my dish) with my main, then she does it with a togo dessert. Alas, not today. She had already decided that she wanted the tabletop smores for dessert so that’s what we did.

Would recommend Will return The atmosphere was all over the place also because it was open mic night Our server kelcie was the best she knew exactly what she was doing she had great personality and knew her menus It was loud in there so if your looking for quite this is not the place We didn’t have a reservation and got right in with 2 people The prices were a little steep for what we ordered there was nothing fancy about the flavors we could cook like this at home

I ordered the brisket dinner with dirty rice and collard greens. The sides where delicious but brisket was lacking in flavor. There wasn't much of a smoke ring but the bark was decent and it was nice and tender.

Each trip to KCs is great. All of the meats are prepared very well. I have had BBQ in Texas or this would have more stars. Service has always been great and the atmosphere is welcoming casual. Tell the hostesses what you are looking for, as there is semi private, bar or other dining room options. Last trip we had a semi private area and the waitresses helping us, made sure we weren't forgotten alternating check ins, while handling all of their other tables on a busy night. Never waited for re fills or drinks. Great job! amd mostly why I am commenting.

Diner
Located near Manchester airport, Airport Diner offers a nostalgic dining experience with its retro 1950s decor and friendly service. As part of the Common Man family, this diner serves classic American favorites all day long. The atmosphere is calming and the waitstaff are attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. The menu features hearty American dishes including Patty-Melt with Onion Rings and Turkey Pot Pie, both of which are highly recommended.
Dinner was great. Came quickly and was hot. Good size portions, was unable to finish steak sandwich or onion rings, even though it was delicious. Service was good and the place was extremely cute and clean. I stayed in the hotel and wàs able to just walk down the hall to enter the restaurant. Which was great being it was cold outside.

The cinnamon raisin bread is the best along with the chocolate cream pie, apple pie, blueberry pie, Shepherd's pie, and the tuna melt. I've eaten here 6 days in a row and I have yet to have a bad bite of food. The staff have all been kind and attentive on every shift, morning and late

Great little diner, geeasy spoon kinda feel. Cant go wrong. Stopped in had hash and eggs and toast. Food was great and quick. Service was good but were short staffed so had to wait just a bit longer than you should. Located in the same parking lot as the Holiday Inn. Plenty of parking

The staff is super nice! Make sure to try the grilled steak tips — they’re sooooo delicious!

We stopped by for a quick dinner with a toddler, but it was anything but quick…. Service was friendly, but slow. Our meals were great, when they arrived - the turkey club was large and had real turkey (not deli meat). The veggie burger was also very good. The kids pancake was silly - an 8” pancake instead of more manageable silver dollar size for kids. The scrambled egg portion was large, but didn’t taste good at all. We had to have the bill corrected, but the prices were pretty reasonable

Food was pretty good. The fries were hot and yummy. The steak tips were not the greatest quality meat and were a little too chewy with some fat. My wife said her veggie burger was very good. We will definitely come back!

Airport Diner used to be one of our favorite spots to grab a meal, especially breakfast. However, since the COVID mess, we've not had a great experience there. Today's supper was a low spot. My rueben corned beef was tough and chewy, and my fries were overcooked (when does that ever happen?) The booths are the most cramped of anywhere we eat, and tonight's neighboring table was very loud (admittedly not the restaurant's fault). Overall not a good experience. The one bright spot was our server, who was friendly and efficient.

The food was great, got a Reuben with onion rings, it was very good. My server was good. The hostess when you walk in was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She needs to be replaced. I was there the night of November 5th. Both ladies were very rude. I come up here often and will be here in 2 weeks and will not go there.

Delicious food and amazing service. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavorful. Tabytha was very personable and attentive. We had a great first visit and hope to come back soon! P.S. - the peanut butter mousse was incredible.

This is most definitely an upscale fine dining restaurant. You need a reservation, valet parking, food & service are divine. It was our first time here and we will most definitely be back for another special occasion. Legit steakhouse in downtown Manchester - highly recommend the delmonico ribeye cut.

Hanover Street Chophouse is the best restaurant for steaks and a great piece of meat in Manchester, NH! This was a recommendation to try and myself and colleagues absolutely loved it! The tomahawk, oysters, drinks, service, was top notch! Quality of meats and all food were excellent. A restaurant to go to with a special occasion or just a special night out. Not cheap but well worth it. Chef and owner came out to meet us. Side note, same ownership for the restaurant The Crown just down the street which is another foodie destination in Manchester.

Dinner was fabulous . Our second visit here. Out of towners & best filet mignon ever. Our special waitress was Laurie & we fell in love with her. Attentive to all our needs! She was precious! Thank you for a beautiful evening once again. We will be back next time in town! 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed a special meal for a birthday and we were very pleased. We had a reservation, and we were seated promptly. The interior is very lovely and the atmosphere is pleasant including a piano player. The menu is extensive and it features high quality cuts of beef. We selected several different steaks and the special on this Saturday night of prime rib. All were cooked to perfection and served properly. We also enjoyed some fine red wines. Finally, we had 2 lovely desserts that we split amongst our 2 couples. An extensive wine list is available as well as a full range of adult beverages. There are clean restrooms provided and valet parking out front. Otherwise there is street parking. Prices are in keeping with the fine dining atmosphere and the quality of the meats. Overall, a lovely place for a special dining experience.

We e been going once a year on our anniversary for the past 4 years. We always look forward to our steak night here, and the servers are always so friendly and accommodating. I usually get the filet with Bleu cheese fondue and it's always perfect! My husband always raves about his steak too!

While the service and atmosphere are top rated the food was, OK. It definitely did not equal the price paid. The wine selections were nothing great and while they did have an extensive choice of spirits, the prices again were 3 times that of a more casual restaurant. My cut of beef was mediocre and dry, the sides were bland. The lobster bisque was missing one key ingredient, lobster. The gulf shrimp were large and well prepared with a delicious cocktail sauce. I was expecting a 5 star restaurant and unfortunately it was more like a 2.5

We had a double birthday dinner at Hanover Street Chophouse Saturday and it was FANTASTIC! We started with beverages and a wonderful crock of French Onion soup and then moved on to filets and prime rib (end cut for me of course!!) with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and more all cooked to literal perfection. We capped off the beautiful dinner with carrot cake for two a la mode and creme brule - - both with custom birthday greetings handwritten in chocolate on a thin wafer. What a night! We actually closed the restaurant because we were so wrapped up in the wonderful experience. Top notch service from our server as well!! Highly recommended! Five Star Experience and Five Star Cuisine!!!
