Peach Street Distillers is a small-batch spirits distillery located in the heart of Palisade, just off Main Street. They offer weekly facility tours and have a daily-open tasting room for visitors to enjoy. The distillery creates a variety of small-batch spirits using locally grown fruit and grains, including Jackelope Gin, Colorado Bourbon, Smoke Rye Whiskey, Goat Vodka, and an assortment of fruit liquors such as Pear, Peach, and Apricot Brandies.
Great atmosphere. Good drinks and good food. While we were there someone was smoking by the building and a fire alarm went off, it was a little scary, but Claire took over and acted like a boss. It was a calm setback and we went on to have an amazing meal. Try the flight of 5 different bourbon. Evening was top notch. Definitely will be back when I'm in town.

Drinks were good however I'm not sure what the heck is going on with the kitchen! We ordered drinks and nachos immediately. Drinks came out in about 10 minutes, however our nachos were taking quite a bit. After about 40 minutes we asked a server if they could check on the nachos. They STILL took an additional 20 minutes for them to come out. We were presented with this incredibly disappointing plate of nachos in the photo attached, mind you we paid extra to add pork on the nachos. There were about 4 chunks of meat and everything was already cold. We ended up going somewhere else for food.

I wouldn’t give this place a single star if I could. We’re not picky people, and we were very patient, but this place just does not have it together. We stopped in for a very late lunch, and service crawled at a snail’s pace. Even the simplest orders were forgotten. We sat forever with our first drinks while staff kept checking in, yet all we were waiting on were two pizzas and a mac & cheese. When we asked for just one more drink and a water, those never came. After an hour and a half, the food finally arrived and it was worse than the wait: cold, soggy pizza that was both unappetizing and underwhelming. It was so bad we had to stop somewhere else afterward just to get the taste out of our mouths.

Absolutely amazing! One of our favorite places to go for not only drinks but food aswell! My husband loves the bourbon and whiskey while I love the mixed cocktails with gin and there agave! We were able to go for their 20th anniversary party which was super fun! We will continue to be patrons of this wonderful establishment! Great staff and service! Cody is one of our favorites! There are two Cody's, so the one with the sick gauges ;) thank you so much Peach St crew! We look forward to saying where the new ownership takes this lovely place

Haley took care of us and we were so delighted to come here. We are big fans of whiskey and this is on par with some bourbons like 291. The food was also filling and delicious. They were welcoming and sweet to our 5 year old newfies Sheba and we are so grateful we got to come here!

Great atmosphere, beautiful copper stills, all the gin you can handle. They also make vodkas rums, and bourbons. 5yr and 7 yr Easy to access and plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Such a fun and beautiful spot to hang out. The vibe is super chill, with great drinks, friendly people, and a really cool patio surrounded by mountain views. It’s the kind of place where you can just relax, enjoy a cocktail, and take in the scenery. Everything feels easygoing and welcoming!Definitely one of the best places to stop by in the area<3

We had a wonderful happy hour at Peach Street Distillers yesterday! The drinks and food were very tasty, and it was family friendly. My husband appreciated the beer on tap and I thought the vodka drinks were delicious. The staff were super friendly! The new owner Cody gave us a tour- what an amazing story of locals taking pride in supporting their community. We highly recommend it here!

Pub
Palisade Brewing Company is a laid-back brewery offering a variety of craft beers and delicious pub food, making it a perfect spot for families and beer enthusiasts alike. Situated in Palisade, Colorado, known as The Peach Capital, the brewery provides a refreshing break from wine tasting with its unique beers like the Mexican lager and pear-infused brew. Visitors can enjoy the scenic outdoor seating area while sipping on their favorite beer or indulging in hearty sandwiches and pub grub.
An absolute must stop after a hot hike in Palisade! The beers here are refreshing and hit different after a hard hike like Mount Garfield. The sandwiches are amazing too.

We visited Palisade Brewery on a Sunday and had a mixed experience. Our beer flight included the Forbidden Beet, High Desert, Laidback Blonde, and Dirty Hippie. The Forbidden Beet was earthy and unique, the High Desert was watery and underwhelming, but both the Blonde and Hippie were enjoyable. The food was a highlight—$1 wing night was a great deal, and the mild buffalo wings were pretty good. The grain pretzel with beer cheese was absolutely massive and delicious—highly recommended! The mustard that came with it was incredibly spicy and flavorful, adding a perfect kick. One charming feature was the wall of local amateur art. While the pieces are objectively sophomoric, it’s a wonderful touch that adds character. Supporting local artists, regardless of skill level, is always a strength. There’s even a playful nod to Maurizio Cattelan’s Comedian, with a candy cane duct-taped to the wall—a quirky and seasonally appropriate detail we appreciated. Unfortunately, the ambiance fell short. The TVs were tuned to sports, and the music was turned off for football, which clashed with the laid-back brewery vibe we were hoping for. Overall, it’s a decent spot for beer, food, and a bit of whimsy, but the atmosphere could use some improvement.

Their tacos are excellent! We will definitely be there for Taco Tuesdays in the future. Wow, great flavor profile! Our service was good and the beer was tasty. I definitely had a good experience at the PBC. Thank you!

One of the best bar+restaurants I have been to in many years. The fries were great, jalapeño brisket sandwich was great and the portion size was actually big enough for an adult to eat and be full which is not common in Colorado. Beer was great as well. They also accommodated a dairy allergy well. You’d be surprised how hard it is for places to simply not put cheese on something. Thanks Palisade Brewing Company! 🙏

It’s unfortunate that they allow smokers on their patio. I went there with my husband and our newborn son for the Bronco game a couple weeks ago with every intention of having a couple beers and a meal and we left after sharing one beer because there were people lighting upright next to us. They had the garage door open so we couldnt even escape the smoke if we went inside. It makes for a very unwelcoming atmosphere. I love the beer here and I hesitate to go back.

Haven’t tried the food yet but have tried a few flights of beer. Some tasty brews! 2 stars because each time I’ve been here and sat outside on the patio they allow smokers and it’s unfortunately not family friendly (or friendly to anyone concerned about second hand smoke). Also, I’m pretty sure it’s a violation of the Colorado Clean Air Act as the smokers are often within 25 feet of the entrance.

Wineries & Vineyards
Varaison Vineyards & Winery offers a unique wine tasting experience in their private cellar, featuring Old World-inspired wines that have gained recognition at the Paris Wines and Spirits Expo. The estate boasts a beautiful rose garden, a cozy patio with a firepit, and a wood-fired pizza oven for visitors to savor delicious food alongside their wines.
Varaison Vineyards & Winery hosted a private dinner for my 40th Birthday and created the most warm and intimate experience for myself, my husband, and our closest friends and family. Ron, Kristin and Alex executed an exemplary menu with perfect wine pairings that left us all wanting more. Alex’s wine education blew our minds. To think that I have been drinking white wine wrong for decades! Thank you so much Ron, Kristin and Alex for making such a wonderful memory for my friends and I and for making my birthday the best one yet!

This place gave us an incredible wine tasting experience. They brought out a variety of wines and taught us how to drink the different kinds of wine. You get to experience a whole new way of experiencing wine that may open you to wine you may not have typically enjoyed.

The winemaker is very kind and knowledgeable. The owner and staff are all wonderful! Definitely recommend especially for their Friday Fire Pit Nights in the summer with kids! 10 out of 10!
Kathryn N — Google review
If you don’t know much about wine—or how to taste it—this place will change that. My wife and I took a weekend trip to Palisade. I liked wine occasionally (maybe 2–3 times a year), but I could only ever tell you if it was “good” or “bad.” I never understood how people picked out flavors in wine—until we had a tasting with the owner and winemaker, Alex. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also an excellent teacher. He explained every detail: why they chose certain winemaking approaches, how each decision affected taste and production, and why making wine with care matters so much. I still enjoy my old favorites, but Alex opened up my taste buds. I started to understand how and why people love wine the way they do. The *only* downside to starting your wine journey here? It spoils you. After Varaison, other wineries just don’t compare. Alex teaches you how to taste additives, rushed winemaking, and shortcuts—things you used to love might not taste so great anymore. It’s a blessing and a curse: a curse because you won’t want to drink mediocre wine again, and a blessing because you’ll know how to choose wine that’s actually worth your money (and that doesn’t mean more expensive). Outside of wine, we went to their “Fire Pit Friday.” Incredible pizza—some made with fresh Palisade peaches, some with smoked pork—and wine or iced tea to go with it. Alex and his family make you feel like you’ve been invited to a cousin’s backyard BBQ. It’s top-notch food and wine, but also the most welcoming and enjoyable place to hang out. We loved it so much, we came back the next night for their 4th Annual BBQ Challenge. Alex and a chef from a local restaurant (13 Bricks) served smoked pork, chicken, and ribs. It was amazing—worth every dollar. You’ll find other wines and experiences in Palisade you’ll enjoy, but this winery should be the *center* of your trip. You won’t regret it. You can’t find their wine in stores, but they’ll ship anywhere in the U.S. (except Utah, apparently!). Their family-style hospitality extends to their customer service—they just want to take care of you. Places like this are rare. You’ll love it.

We stopped by the tasting barn unexpectedly this summer with low expectations. We were immediately greeted by Alex West, the Vintner who gave us the most amazing education on all things wine related. We visited 7-8 vinyards while visiting the area and this was by far our favorite (although the entire region far exceded our expectations). We left with a big box filled with our favorite wines from Varaison and tonight we opened the Perle Blanche Chardonnay. It was just as delicious as I remembered and maybe even better. Don’t miss this gem when planning your winery tour. Thank you Alex!
Beth P — Google review
I had such a wonderful experience here! The wines were outstanding - beautifully full-bodied, balanced, and not overly sweet, which is exactly my style. Each pour felt thoughtfully selected, and the flavors were layered and memorable. What made the visit even better was the person guiding me through the tasting - so knowledgeable and warm, they really took the time to walk me through the process and made it feel approachable and fun. You can tell they truly love what they do. The owner is also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which added such a personal touch to the whole experience. This place is definitely a gem - both for the wines and the people behind them. 🍷✨

This is my favorite winery to visit in Palisade. The owners are warm, friendly and educational, and this translates into superbly trained employees who host their wine tastings. They teach you about the wine as you drink it, and it’s very intimate for bachelorette parties and anniversaries. Best wine in the region. Great family owned business!
Emily B — Google review
This was our first stop in our wine tour collection. We've heard great reviews about this place upon entry. The host was super attentive and very knowledgeable about wine and spent hours describing wines and letting us taste them. The family is very sweet and very knowledgeable. And I would definitely come back again. Thank you. Honestly a must see in palisade

The Ordinary Fellow, a winery founded by Ben Parsons, offers a unique experience in an industrial-chic setting that was once a peach-packing plant. The venue serves wines made from grapes sourced from Parsons' vineyards in Cortez and Dolores, Colorado, and Utah. Visitors can enjoy the ambiance and grab some Southeast Asian cuisine from the food truck parked on-site during weekends or visit Pali Thai nearby on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Winemaker and owner Ben Parsons ("The Englishman") is a fellow cricket tragic who studied Oenology at the University of Adelaide's Roseworthy campus, a region that I am very familiar with as an ex-Adelaide lad. Ben was a fabulous Host, who gave us great insight into how his wines are produced, and how and why he offers so much variety. Some of the best wines that we have tasted anywhere. The Ordinary Fellow is a 'must visit' for anyone visiting Palisade. We joined the Wine of the Month Club, naturally!

Not only is the wine great, but the service is excellent! The wine flights are reasonably priced and the wine bottle labels are beautiful. I especially loved the wine cocktails, the carrot, ginger and lemongrass + Riesling. They also have a frozen rośe cocktail with elderflower and edible flower garnishes.

My friends and I did a wine tasting/tour with Neil and it exceeded our expectations. He was so fun and friendly and the tour was incredibly informative. I loved the incorporation of local history and landscape. Nicholas and Neil indulged us in great conversation and tips about exploring the area, even though we were there past closing. The wine was exceptional and I left with a new understanding and appreciation of wine in general.

I can't say enough good things about this winery. Neal was such a great tour guide! He knew what he was talking about and was very engaging! Nicholas was a delight and we so appreciated his conversation and how he took good care of us. You guys made my 40th birthday so much fun. I'm sure there's other fine wineries in the area but when we come back, we'll come here again. Thank you so much!

Ben and his wife were amazing. They chatted with us when we came for a bachelorette party. The best frozé we found out of all the places we visited. You’ll want to come here!!! Will definitely be coming back.

This is a great addition to an already great little pocket of Palisade. Love that there is now a winery, a brewery, and a distillery all grouped together. We loved the wine and the vibe and the food truck was awesome too! Very cool place!

This new winery is refined and definitely gives a modern feel. Very spacious even when there’s a bunch of people. They have games to past the time and of course a ping pong table! The wine selection is limited since they are new but definitely worth checking out. The Riesling is sweet and crisp. Albariño has an amazing apricot aroma and very delicious. The rosé was fruity with an earthy finish. My favorite was the red blend with nice bold and darker cherry blend flavors. Overall great experience. The staff will really explain what flavors stand out in the wines. Great new winery. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a modern feel and a great time out. Thank you for your service and keep up the great work!!

Wonderful new addition to peach street! Super cool industrial building with historical significance to the area. An absolutely gratifying place to hang out and enjoy a glass of wine with beautiful views of the Grand Mesa. All the wines are delicious. Definitely make sure to stop in here and check out their interesting labels and play a game of ping pong.

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that cares about the food they serve and the experience behind it. Kitchen is a well oiled machine. Cocktails are amazing. I’ve been all over the world eating amazing meals and I think this could be some of the best eating food I’ve ever been served. Highly recommend this spot if you’re a foodie like me. You will love it.

One of the best meals we've ever had! This place is spectacular. The staff is super friendly and they work in unison and quickly. The kitchen is right behind the bar so we could see them doing the cooking and prep; incredible team. I had the ribeye which was spectacular along with fries cooked in beef tallow. She had the chicken tiki, also incredible. Good wine, best peach salad I've ever had and a nice souffle for dessert. I cannot recommend this place any higher. We got lucky at 5:00 without a reservation, but if you're going to be in Palisade, you should get a reservation several days in advance.

We celebrated an anniversary dinner at Peche Restaurant recently and I was surprised at the noise level when we arrived-loud. Started with Sourdough Boule-it was steaming when served but the crust was burnt on the bottom and a tough outer crust. Ordered the ribeye and surprised that I couldn’t order medium doneness, the chef cooks it to rare or well done only. It was delicious but more rare than I prefer. The side of frites was a generous size and the pesto dipping sauce was tasty but very soggy fries. The grilled lettuce was good. Dessert we chose the raspberry soufflé and it was the best part of dinner. Service was excellent, but we both were surprised at how loud the place was throughout our 2 hour visit. This was a one and done: will not return to Peche. Expensive.
Judy S — Google review
What a gem. Amazing food, wine, and service. Felt almost Michelin like. We enjoyed the Palisade peach salad, heirloom tomatoes, pork Milanese, ribeyes, and tiki Marsala.
Rachel K — Google review
We drove 75 miles to go out to eat for our anniversary b/c we had been to Peche once before with friends. The atmosphere was nice, loud but not too loud. The staff were pretty attentive, but didn't seem to know the menu as well as they should have. Our appetizer was phenomenal, but our entrees were a bit of a disappointment. The tandoori chicken was overcooked, and the side vegetable was oily and bland. The Mexican platter really seemed out of place on the menu. For two people, with only two drinks the bill was $180 but the satisfaction was not commiserate with the cost.
Leo M — Google review
We recently dined at Peche and overall had a great experience. We sat at the chefs counter and Grant was a pleasure to talk with. We ordered the pea and the foie gras appetizers (definitely highlights of the meal!), the steak for the main, and peach crisp for dessert. All of the food was exceptional (except the frites that accompanied the steak were a bit average / greasy). Our main issue had to do with the lack of knowledge our server had when asked basic questions about the menu. If you’re going to have a cocktail menu with no descriptions, all of the servers should be able to accurately describe the drinks. Instead we were met with an “I don’t know, I’m new.” She also didn’t make any effort to find someone who could answer our questions. That being said, after some Google searches to figure out what the drinks may be, we ordered some cocktails and they were spectacular - great tasting, presented beautifully, and worth the price. It definitely just felt like a bit of let down after hearing how amazing the service is here. We certainly look forward to coming back to Peche in the future, but hope training of servers is taken into account more seriously.
Lauren K — Google review
What a wonderful gem in Palisade!! We got so lucky on our reservation and are so happy we got to dine with Peche. Fidel's Cocina & Bar is a lively Latin eatery located on Main Street Palisade, offering an array of tantalizing dishes and a vibrant atmosphere. The menu features delectable tacos, along with an impressive selection of tequila and mezcal. While some patrons found the food to be good with well-seasoned proteins and amazing cauliflower tacos, others felt that certain elements like sauces and pickled vegetables could use some fine-tuning.
Great prices for great service and delicious food. We sat at the bar just before the rush; you should plan ahead. This place is popular and fills up quickly, but it's worth the wait if you get stuck during the busier times. We had the chips and salsa and homemade guacamole. Chicken enchiladas and the carne aside bowl. Our last visit was the delicious tacos. Everything on the menu is really good. A nice selection of lical hot sauces to kick it up a notch. A nice variety of drinks to choose from. You will definitely be glad you stopped in.

Stopped at Fidel’s while passing through Palisade with friends. Decided to share everything! Salad dressing was fantastic, mushroom tacos and enchiladas were top notch. Only complaint was we weren’t offered an NA option when we asked about the fresh peach puree, only told it was for the margaritas and we didn’t want to drink booze. Great selection of local hot sauces too.

I’m amazed. This place was excellent. We had huevos rancheros, the rainbow salad, chips and salsa…the star of the show is the deconstructed elote corn dip…outstanding…seriously. My only regret is that I live three hours away. fried ice cream for dessert was very yummy ☺️…highly recommend

Crowded, service was decent with how busy they were, but the food, mocktails, and margaritas were so incredible- nothing else mattered! Would definitely go again. Also, left a card there and they went above and beyond to dispose of it after we asked them to cut it up as we live hours away and had already hit the road. Blessings to them for their consideration and customer service!

How can I start ? You seat by yourself not one will help you in any way ! When we get two tables were there! You can tell this is a local bar and with the regular customer and not one care for any other new customer, we place the food right away and let the server we have reservations for some activities and took 40 minutes to get 2 hamburgers we asked medium and they only believe in extremely cooked meat ! Not one will check your table or even asked anything ! The Mac&cheese for kids please avoid! Well be honest avoid the whole experience and do not go there trust me read the reviews I normally I do! Take a lot for me to write a bad reviews and I try my best always to support as much I can local businesses but this just horrible and not one cares for nothing here we complain about how cooked was the hamburgers and was two of them and they a only comp 1 and gave us cash but we literally don’t eat at all nothing ! I can’t just describe how bad this place it’s so I rather be straight and tell the true ! They make so many mistake ! We order the onion rings and the menu said that included ranch they don’t bring it We asked the hamburger medium they cooked too much The kid meals horrible and services need a lot of attention!

Wings are good, we had the peach, Sriracha, and garlic parmesan wings. Blue cheese was sketchy. Burgers are okay. Patty melt and reuben came out with burnt rye bread. They replaced the bread and made us swap the insides out which was strange. Fish and chips were not good, had a tough rubbery texture. Server was good and friendly. They comped the bad meals which raised our review stars. Would visit again for the wings and fries. Id recommend reducing the menu and perfect fewer items.

Good food. Burgers are the best and freshest I have had in a while.

Cool little bar in downtown Palisade. John & his staff were very accommodating & the food & service were excellent.

The food is good and the atmosphere is more like roadside diner than cafe or bistro but overall it’s comfortable with decent food. They suffer a bit from an extensive menu with items that span the breadth of the culinary world but I suppose one could simply call it American cuisine. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

French toast, biscuits n gravy, breakfast burrito....top notch! We loved our server, she was great. Also had a couple bottles of champagne with a selection of juices for some lovely mimosas. We are from out-of-state but will be back before we leave.

Ordered a breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and salsa. The hashbrowns are very hard and the burrito was terrible. It was supposed to be covered in green chili but im not sure that was even green chili on top, and their wasn't much of it either. I spent about $17 for one burrito. I ordered via call in due to being really busy at work and still had ro wait for my order when I got there. This is the worst breakfast burrito I have ever ordered
