Nestled in the vibrant heart of Beaver Creek Village, the Vilar Performing Arts Center is a cultural gem that offers an array of year-round entertainment. With a seating capacity of over 530, this venue showcases everything from Broadway musicals and concerts to comedy shows and family-friendly productions. The center is not just about performances; it also plays host to community events, awards ceremonies, and fundraisers throughout the year.
During our stay in Beaver Creek, we had the opportunity to visit the Vilar Performing Arts Center, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! This intimate yet world-class venue is a hidden gem in the heart of Beaver Creek. The theater’s design and acoustics are outstanding, creating a perfect setting for an immersive performance. Despite its cozy size, it hosts an impressive lineup of shows, from concerts and Broadway performances to comedy and dance. The staff was incredibly welcoming, making the entire experience seamless from arrival to seating. We appreciated the comfortable seating, excellent sightlines, and the overall upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. It’s clear that Vilar Performing Arts Center is committed to delivering top-tier entertainment in a setting that feels both elegant and personal. If you’re in Beaver Creek, whether for a ski trip or a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend checking out a performance at Vilar Performing Arts Center. It adds a unique and cultural touch to any trip, and we can’t wait to return for another show!

Visiting Vail and ran across the Gordon Lightfoot tribute concert. Everyone in our party had a great time. The theater is gorgeous.
Dawn R — Google review
I absolutely loved this theater! My wife and I needed a quick getaway to the mountains. We discovered that one of our favorite artists was performing here, so we bought tickets. The theater was beautiful and comfortable. Seats were great! Staff and clientele were delightful. Lobby and amenities exceptional! And the show was phenomenal! It was so easy to park, get in, and get out. I can't wait to return!
Steve S — Google review
What a beautiful venue. Seats about 550, amazing acoustics. Saw Elvis Costello and the Imposters.
Jim D — Google review
Went here while on vacation. The performing arts theater was beautiful. The seating was comfortable. Everybody was so helpful in assisting you to navigate all the way to your seat. We went for a Broadway show which was absolutely wonderful.
Richard B — Google review
A truly incredible venue nestled in the magnificent mountains of Colorado. The theatre is stunning, with a contemporary design in wood that feels warm and cozy. The sound was spectacular, it boosts one of the best systems for a smaller venue. Rather mind-blowing to realize the theatre sits three floors below street level. Here on work with a concert tour, the support staff was friendly and skilled. A real pleasure, look forward to getting back.
JC N — Google review
Enjoyed the three day music event called Elevation. It was sponsored by Marriott, United Airlines, and multiple Vinyards. One night, they performed in the Vilar Performing Arts center. Very nice facility, with great sound. We definitely liked our seats 4 rows back.
Alan B — Google review
Got to go see 311 here and was happy with parking (not a far walk to venue), seats in the balcony were great and they had a free coat check. Looking forward to seeing other shows (comedians and magic as well as other bands) here.

Cross-country Ski Areas
The Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center, located at the base of the Strawberry Park Express Lift in Beaver Creek Village, is a must-visit destination for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts. With 19 kilometers of lift-accessed trails in McCoy Park, visitors can enjoy stunning views and diverse terrain. The rental shop offers a variety of equipment for classical, skate, and snowshoe activities. Visitors have praised the knowledgeable and friendly guides who ensure a comfortable pace and provide great trail suggestions.
We went out snowshoeing twice in two days with Carrie, and had an absolute blast both times. She's knowledgeable, careful, thoughtful, and funny. She always made sure to match her pace to ours, and was judicious with breaks and making sure everyone in the group was handling the pace and exertion comfortably. She's been bumping around these parts a bit and knows the area really well, so you can be assured you're in good hands if you go out with her. I can't recommend this experience enough, and if you're in Beaver Creek and want to give a different experience a try, be sure and book a tour at the Nordic Sports Center.
Amy — Google review
Nice, friendly staff. Well maintained trails and epic views! The gents running the chair lifts and scanning tickets were all so helpful to a lone snow shoer amidst a bustling skiing crowd. I had an epic day snow shoeing at around 10,000 feet in freshly fallen sparkling snow! How wonderful!
Jodi G — Google review
On my recent trip to Colorado I stopped by the Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center to rent some snowshoe gear for the day. I’ve rented gear from this location many times before, and it’s always been a pleasant experience, but I felt like my recent visit was less than enjoyable. Laurie assisted us, and when I opened the door to the shop she told us to wait outside, she was on the telephone at the time, and it appears that she was the only one in the shop. So we waited outside, and a couple minutes later she comes out and asks us what we need, she seemed a bit frazzled at the time. We let her know that we’re here to rent gear for the day. While sitting outside she has us fill out the paperwork and she brings some hiking shoes for us to try on. Once we tried on boots that fit, she asked for our credit cards, and took them back inside the shop to ring us out. It seemed to be taking a little long, so I thought it might be a good idea to check and see what was going on. When I opened the door to the shop she tells me that my credit card is being declined, and I thought that was strange because I just used it to get a cup of coffee within the last 30 mins and it was working fine at that time. I started to approach the counter because I noticed they have a credit card machine with the chip reader and perhaps she needed to insert my card in there for it to work, and once I do that she puts her hand up and tells me “can you just stand over there”. She then walks to the front of the counter and my credit card works when she inserts the chip. After that she comes outside to give us our receipts and says we’re good to go, and then I ask her to please explain how to put on the snowshoe gear because my mom has never done this before. She did explain the gear and made sure our poles were at the correct height after I asked her to, however as soon as someone else walked up to the shop, she was quickly walking away and I had to raise my voice and say “Wait a second, we would like to use the restroom before we get on the lift can you please give us the code?” The entire interaction with Laurie was very strange. Usually they would give you a map and share their recommendations of where to hike depending on your skills level. I’m not sure if this was stopped due to COVID-19 protocols or if she just forgot to do it. She seemed a bit rushed or perhaps she wants to limit customer interaction as much as possible due to the COVID-19 situation, but whatever the reason I didn’t feel like it was good customer service. I’ve gone on multiple tours and rented gear in the past, and it’s always been great. I understand that with the COVID-19 situation some changes needed to be made (i.e. trying on gear outside, leaving your shoes in bins outside), but if an employee is so fearful of what’s going on that they come across with an attitude, perhaps they shouldn’t be in a customer facing role, there has to be a happy medium. I wish the best for this shop, but definitely feel like they would benefit from having more of a friendly and warm approach, providing excellent customer service at a distance if they want those customers returning. Without customers there will not be a Nordic Center in Beaver Creek, and that would be a real shame because McCoy Park is such a lovely place to explore.
Lauren E — Google review
Rented cross country skiing equipment from Sue L, Ulrica J, and John B. Everyone was so helpful and we had an amazing day cross country skiing for the first time. This is the place you want to rent from as everyone was very friendly and had great trail suggestions. The boots were very comfortable as well.
Alaina N — Google review
You can buy lift tickets to McCoy Park here. They also have maps for the Nordic trails in all of Beaver Creek, not just McCoy Park. Discovery Overlook and the Upper Atlas Traverse have amazing views!
Amanda M — Google review
Excellent equipment and service. We rented some snowshoes for a day. Insulated boots, snowshoes and poles all came with the package. Nordic Center is located right on the showshoe trail that leads through the golf course, or a quick lift to McCoy Park. Employees help fit us perfectly, showed us the trails on a map, and got us going. Great experience from beginning to end. Thanks!
Stephen S — Google review
Terrible experience with cross country skiing lessons. We had lessons earlier this month and the trail was in terrible condition. No one said anything to us about these conditions. The trail up on the mountain was closed. Instead we skied at the bottom of the hill on the golf course. kids were sleigh riding, dogs were playing on the track that was not recently groomed. No one at the ski center told us about the terrible conditions. Spent $1000 for the 4 of us to rent equipment and to take lessons. When we returned the equipment spoke to a gentleman at the front desk about the conditions and no response. Like, tough luck. The instructor Nick was awesome! best part of the experience by far. Beware if you book this excursion to ensure the conditions of the track are not filled with sleigh tracks, paw marks and just generally unkept. Again, no one at the Center said the conditions were poor. Very disappointing.
Todd S — Google review
Very over priced for what it is. $61 for daily trail pass is steep for what you get. Telling my wife to get on the chair and look for the trail signs wasn't very helpful. The Vail Nordic Center is a better value and experience overall.

Hiking Trails
Beaver Lake Trail in Beaver Creek is a beloved local favorite that offers something for every season. The area provides opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and on-mountain snow tubing. Families can also enjoy the Children's Museum and the Black Family Ice Rink. This 10.14-kilometer trail is perfect for a day out with loved ones, including furry friends.
We hiked up the Beaver Lake trail then connected to Royal Elk near Beaver Lake. I like this combination as your effort is rewarded with a free ride down the Centennial lift. The first section of the hike was marked as the Five Senses Trail. It started just after the Beaver Creek Chapel. This section was picturesque and ideal for families with small children. The next section is along Elk Track Rd. You pass the maintenance facilities and fire station before getting on an actual trail. This section was marked as 1.4 miles to Beaver Lake. There are sections of the trail that are absolutely gorgeous, but long sections are just a gravel trail. The final half mile to the lake is very picturesque. Beaver Lake is beautiful and makes the effort worthwhile.

Loved this hike!! It was harder than we anticipated a gain of almost 1900 ft but worth it! The scenery was breathtaking!
Megan H — Google review
Great hike with a spectacular lake at the end of the trail. Out and back, up all the way to the lake and then down. Beautiful views along the way to the lake. I highly recommend this hike. Totally worth it.
Jeff B — Google review
The Beaver Lake trail is the signature trail at Beaver Creek. If you start from the bottom of the mountain it's a grueling up hill hike that takes a good 3 hours or more to complete up and back. I took the Centennial lift up, hiked the Royal Elk trail which connected me to Beaver Lake, then hiked the Beaver Lake trail down to the base. To me, this is the best way to attack this hike unless your looking for a long grueling workout!
A R — Google review
It was a nice challenging hike for the physically inactive me. Took us a little over 3 hours going up because we had to deal with our 10yr old's tantrum. Going down took us just an hour and a half. We brought a blanket and had a nice picnic by the lake at the top. Wasn't happy avoiding all the horse poop on the trail. How come us dog owners have to pick up after our pet but horse handlers dont???
Albert Z — Google review
Would not recommend for beginners, even if you are very physically active. Poorly marked trail and if you wear the wrong shoes, you will be slipping down steep areas with loose rocks. View was beautiful but it took us over 3 hours total and we got lost on the way down.
Holly R — Google review
Were staying in Avon, CO a few years back, and decided to tackle this trail during the month of late June. Mild-moderate difficulty for 2 "average" hikers. The scenery was fantastic, going from green grass at the beginning to snow near the top, which made for a diverse hike. It felt a little bit treacherous at times for the reasons stated, so be forewarned, and be sure to bring appropriate footwear. Definitely worth the visit for the amazing Colorado scenery - including mountains, pines, creeks, streams, wooden bridges, and of course Beaver Lake itself. Enjoy!

Awesome hike with the Lake at the end. Bring some food and have a pick-nick. Remember don't feed the animals and always leave no trace.

Sushi restaurant
Nestled in Beaver Creek Village, Hooked is a rustic-style seafood joint that offers an array of delectable dishes. The seasoned waitstaff guides patrons through a selection of fresh seafood from distant seas, which can be prepared grilled, sautéed, or fried. The restaurant's Insta-worthy whole fish can be enjoyed sashimi-style on one side and crisply fried on the other.
Holy tuna this place is good!! Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere. Amazing job! Side note, the snapper is scary.
Gavin C — Google review
The food was great but clearly overpriced as I’m guessing the rent is super high, the menu is very vast and has a range for everyone. Fondue of lobster and crab was good, sushi combo omakasi sashimi came on a bed of rice which was a shock. The service was not great and needs some training and direction from the manger. The staff were very friendly.
Eoghain O — Google review
Our recent visit to Hooked Beaver Creek was a delightful experience that earned a solid 4 stars from us! We decided to mix things up with a variety of dishes, and the menu didn’t disappoint. We started with some sushi, which was a standout—fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. The fish was clearly high-quality, and the presentation was simple yet elegant, making it a treat for both the palate and the eyes. Next up was the Lobster roll sandwich, a dish I’d been eager to try. It came loaded with tender, succulent lobster, lightly dressed and nestled in a perfectly toasted roll. While it didn’t completely blow me away, it was undeniably delicious and a great option for seafood lovers. We also ordered the chicken sandwich, which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with a nice crispy exterior that added some texture to the experience. It wasn’t the star of the meal, but it held its own as a solid choice for anyone craving something hearty. The atmosphere at Hooked Beaver Creek was decent—casual and relaxed, though not particularly memorable. Service was okay; the staff were friendly enough, but there were moments where it felt a little slow or disjointed. Still, the food more than made up for it. Overall, this spot offers quality eats in a laid-back setting, and we’d happily return to dive deeper into their menu. Four stars well-deserved!
Chris U — Google review
Really enjoyed the whole fish experience. We chose our fish and had several hot and several cold preparations. All of the courses were excellent. My husband tried aged fish nigiri for the first time, which he loved, and our bartender did an excellent job talking us through the different fishes
Kara C — Google review
Everything was absolutely unbelievable. The service was excellent. The vibe was chill, and the food was beautifully presented and tasted phenomenal. We had a party of four. We had oysters, 3 sushi rolls, seared scallops, lobster roll, and clam chowder. We will be back before we leave Beaver Creek!
Christina S — Google review
We love Hooked! We come twice a year in the off-seasons, it is such a treat to get to enjoy good sushi in the valley. The close-knit cozy restaurant is perfect for a date night intimate dinner spot.
Emily R — Google review
We had the best meal at Hooked! They have been voted the best seafood restaurant in Colorado for four years and I understand why. They brought out a tray with four whole fish. The fish are flown in from Asia and Australia, never frozen. We picked a scorpion rock fish from Japan. The Chef then prepared the fish half raw (ceviche, sushi and sashimi) and half cooked. The whole meal was delicious and an unforgettable experience!
Aleth C — Google review
My sister and I took our mom for Mother’s Day and we enjoyed it so much. We made two other reservations almost back to back. The food is truly delicious and the service is exceptional.

Coyote Cafe

$$$$affordable
Mexican restaurant
Coyote Cafe is a lively Mexican cantina located in Beaver Creek Plaza, known for its Tex-Mex menu and scenic outdoor seating. It's a popular spot for locals, including off-duty ski patrollers, who gather here for apres-ski happy hour specials. The restaurant offers a variety of Mexican dishes such as nachos, fish tacos, fajitas, and carnitas along with a selection of signature margaritas. Visitors can also enjoy value lunch options like the $4.
Great spot for lunch and a beer while you’re up at Beaver Creek. While the food is okay the atmosphere and customer service makes up for it. Definitely a better option than the typical Vail cafeteria fare!
Richard W — Google review
The food was okay, nothing too exciting. The restaurant was packed when we arrived, and the service was average. The nachos were decent, but my achiote chicken bowl was underwhelming—it looked better than it tasted. For some reason, my bowl was a bit watery, possibly from the lettuce. The ambiance was loud and had a typical sports bar vibe. Overall, just okay food.
Vis V — Google review
Absolutely outstanding service. The food was good and reasonably priced considering it’s “on the mountain“, but not what I would call Five Star. We had the green chili pork enchiladas with black beans and green rice. Decent. We had the al Pastor tacos which I’d call above average. The four street sized tacos were stuffed with meat. We had the ceviche which I would just say is average. We had to use all of the limes on the table and add salt. We ordered the chips and salsa, and the salsa was so good we actually ordered some to take home with us.
Jd C — Google review
The food is authentic Mexican and very good. The chef, Miguel is very talented and has created a menu with authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. The bar stays open until late at night and it's the place where all the locals go after they finish work in Beaver Creek.
Alberto R — Google review
The food is decent and better than the more expensive food on the mountain, however the staff when it's busy seem to have some issues. Equally the waiter we had basically disappeared for a while and when we asked to split the check it seemed as though he had never done it. If this was early in the season I'd say he was new, but I only just went and we are over half way through the season.
Wim T — Google review
We have been going here for years, and the quality never disappoints. This time we got to sit at the counter because there was no table available but it turned out to be the best seat in the house. Watching executive chef Benjamin work his magic was really fun!
Woglinda — Google review
The waiter took out drink order and never put in our food order. After awhile we asked where is our food and he said he we never ordered any. Unbelievable. We left of course and mentioned it to the host snd he said that he is an excellent waiter. To me he looked stunned. . To me he looked stunned.

Definitely a must to dine in Beaver Creek! Great casual and affordable dinner spot with lots of flavor! Great post-skiing Mexican food - the al pastor and carnitas tacos were a hit. Friendliest server during our stay at Beaver Creek and quick service.

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in the mountainside, Splendido at The Chateau is an upscale restaurant offering a selection of New American cuisine. With live piano music adding to the elegant ambiance, this high-end establishment prides itself on serving gourmet dishes made with only the freshest seasonal ingredients. The restaurant's commitment to quality is evident in their use of herbs grown on-site and locally sourced produce.
Amazing experience! Our server, Jared, was so helpful, friendly and frequently checked it to see how our dinner was going. One of the better servers I’ve had in a long time, he made our experience so great. Highly recommend the lamp, pork belly, raw beef and kampachi (pictured above). The lobster bisque and cavatelli were good but nothing amazing.

Here's a 5-star review based on your input: --- We recently had the pleasure of dining at Spendido at the Chateau in Beaver Creek, and it was hands down the most amazing dinner we’ve ever enjoyed. From start to finish, every little detail of every dish was pure perfection—flavors that danced on the palate, presentation that was almost too beautiful to eat, and a level of creativity that left us in awe. This isn’t just fine dining; it’s an experience that elevates the senses. The manager, Matt, was an absolute gem—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made us feel right at home while sharing insights that deepened our appreciation for the meal. Our server, Jared, was equally fantastic, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had the best evening possible. The entire staff worked together seamlessly to create a top-notch experience that we’ll be talking about for years. Spendido stands out as the best Michelin-starred restaurant we’ve ever dined at, and that’s saying something. If you’re looking for a night of culinary brilliance and impeccable service, this is the place. Five stars don’t even feel like enough— bravo!
Chris U — Google review
We had an exceptional dining experience tonight. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the valet who promptly took care of our car. Our server was gracious and attentive, recommending the Colorado lamb rack and the dry-aged steak—both of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Even our two-year-old couldn’t get enough of the meats! After dinner, we stepped into the front lobby to find our car waiting for us—what a seamless and thoughtful touch. While this restaurant is currently featured in the Michelin Guide, we truly believe our experience rivaled, if not exceeded, that of a Michelin-starred establishment. We were too full to try dessert this time, but we’re already looking forward to coming back for more!
James C — Google review
WOW…. 5 star experience dining and service!! Loved everything about this fabulous restaurant. From the minute my husband and I drove up to the valet the attendant wished me a happy birthday. And then walking in the hostess immediately greeted us and wished me a happy birthday as well. She sat us at a nice intimate table by the chef’s kitchen overlooking the gorgeous Mountain View’s. As we sat down and opened the menu the top of the menu was personally transcribed “Happy Birthday Izzy.” What an amazing touch as I have never seen such detail to making a customer feel so special! I ordered the sea bass and I could see the chefs start to prepare it in the kitchen right away. It came out rather quickly and it was one of the most amazing meals I have ever had in my life! We also ordered both soufflés, the chocolate and lemon. And this is a must! The lemon was my favorite as they both came out piping hot and made the meal! This place made me feel so special on my birthday!

Very elegant, cozy and romantic place that serve by far be best food in Beaver Creek. Amazing flavors and creative dishes. Outstanding service. I’ve never tasted a rack of lamb so tender and mouthwatering. Applause to the chef!

Incredible and hard to beat restaurant. Highly recommend the Berkshire pork chop and truffle risotto. Extensive wine list with a hefty price tag but worth it. The ambiance here is 11/10. It feels as though you’re dining in a castle. Top notch experience all around.

Great food and service in a lovely venue! Kevin our server was great and took good care of us. Soufflés were excellent with the peach one being our favorite and the lemon/raspberry a close second.

Our reviews had over 56 million views in the last 12 months. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Splendido At The Chateau. This some of the best food in Beaver Creek. You can dress casual or dress up. Lots of tables but always requires a reservation because it always sells out. It is connected to some of the most expensive and elegant private homes and condos in Beaver Creek. All of the food we had was spectacular. Check out all of our reviews and look at all the photos below. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. Be sure to click on "RobH" at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and FUN. If we do a review, it is because we love it. To start we suggest the Mushroom Potage, the Apple & Fig, and the Bison Carpaccio. All are just divine, melt in your mouth fantastic. Bread is served hot with a sweet salty butter we could not get enough of. Special app we had was the scallop ravioli which was a ten plus!!!! For dinner we had the Colorado Rack of Lamb and the Miller's Chicken. Lamb was served rare as requested and was super juicy full of flavor and it was A LOT OF MEAT!!!! 4 full ribs. She had the Miller's chicken which is cooked "brick" style and "Neapolitan" style. So top and bottom layers of white meat plus a darker center blend. We asked the waiter what was in the center blend and he said "horsemeat". We could not believe it so we asked another waiter who said he doubted it. Ask our original waiter again and we all laughed when he said "Forced Meat". Forced meat is when they take the dark meat, mix it with herbs and spices, and then force it through a press much like play dough so that they can make the final product in the shape of a brick. It was really lovely and we all had a laugh about "horse meat" which was not horse meat but was forced meat. Spectacular!!!! For dessert we had the Lemon Souffle which is one of the best in the world. Light, hot, like eating a sweet lemon cloud. Perfect. She had the apple pie and I had the chocolate croissant as well. Both were really good. The apple pie is a totally different presentation than you are used to but OMG is it good!!! Great service. Fun, funny waiters that really new their stuff. Explained every dish to perfection. This is truly one of the best places to eat in Vail or Beaver Creek area. Perfect on all accounts. Check out all of our reviews and look at all the photos below. We saw deer & a fox along the way. Even if you have never ridden a horse, you will be able to ride these gentle horses that willingly follow the trail. We considered the 1-hour option, but I definitely recommend going on the longer one. Long pants are required as you are close to the trees & branches could scratch your legs. The trees provide shade most of the ride. But it is still sunny & warm. A great over-all experience & a fun way to see the mountain views!

Our horseback riding adventure with Beaver Creek Stables in Beaver Creek, Colorado, was incredible! Riding through the stunning Rocky Mountains, with breathtaking views of aspens and peaks, felt like pure magic. The horses were gentle, perfectly matched to our skills, and our guide’s expertise made the journey even richer. From meadows to ridges, every moment was unforgettable. Beaver Creek Stables delivered a flawless, exhilarating experience. A must-do for anyone visiting Beaver Creek!

We had the best time today. Kevin was our guide and he was amazing. It was me and my 2 daughters. Our first time and we did the 1 hour ride. The views are incredible, the horses were wonderful. Highly recommend and can’t wait to do it again next time I am here.

Wonderful experience. We took our three small children (ages 3-7 years) for pony rides in July 2025.

Our guide Kevin was awesome! He really made the experience special. We lucked out being the only 2 on our tour giving us our guides full attention! Hope to go back some day.

The ride itself was great and took the whole family , very nice views and well behaved horses. The customer service needs a lot of help. When trying to pay they had a defective card reader and they kept declining multiple cards (when she typed it went fine) but as the card reader was not working instead of being apologetic about the reader she made us feel like our cards kept getting declined cause we couldn’t afford it. To top it off she asked if i wanted to add more than the 20% mandatory gratuity as we are paying before we receive anything other than her unfriendly attitude

Beaver Creek Ice Rink

Ice skating rink
Beaver Creek Ice Rink is a delightful and family-friendly activity located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village. Open daily during the winter months, this charming rink offers skate rentals for visitors to enjoy gliding on the glistening ice. Adjacent to Base Mountain Sports, it provides a beautiful setting with color-changing light sculptures and cozy fire pits with seating nearby. Even if you don't skate, you can still soak up the lovely atmosphere while sipping on a warm beverage.
Really nice place to ice skate right in the middle of Beaver Creek resort. We weren't staying at the resort and came in at 4:00 p.m. and found that at 4:00 p.m. and onward you get 4 hours of free parking in the parking garage. No one was charging for ice skating even though it's listed at $5 there doesn't seem to be anywhere to pay and at very least no one watching, in the end we got one of the best free experiences you could get, there are ice skate rentals somewhere nearby but we didn't go look because we brought our own. Everyone is welcome of all ages

The ice rink itself is fine. We found the Birds Of Prey Beer Fest here to be just okay though. Few places to sit and even fewer to keep warm after dropping core temperature from drinking beer.. We’ve been to plenty of beer fests, and this just felt impersonal, seemed to lack something (maybe an aspect of fun?) and not worth the money.

Surprising stop in June. River running through shopping district with scavenger hunt for kids. Visiting for go pro days. Shuffle board, ping pong, and performances

I saw Pure Prairie League in concert, for free, outdoors, in the rain! I've been here a few times before, and it's a great place to window shop. Even the sales are outside of my price range, though. To be clear, this was just Beaver Creek, in general, not the ice arena.

Whats happening at rink0? Drove over to skate Monday. Strips of something were thrown all around ice. Called rink # yesterday, no answer. Closed for holidays? Any phone I got to answer didn't know, ie BC resorts. Dec 19th. Otherwise a 5 star experience

My kids,7 & 9, had a blast ice skating for the first time. They got the hang of it eventually and then didn't want to leave. The fire pits and comfy seating is perfect for the parents. You can relax with a glass of wine by the fire while your kids skate.

The Beaver Creek Highlands provides a relaxed location with direct access to the slopes and proximity to the village. The area's natural beauty is captivating year-round, offering scenic hiking trails in summer and vibrant foliage in fall.
1 of top 10 ski resorts in the world! Beaver Creek is a great Ski resort with slopes for everyone and no lines as the lifts are fast, it also has an incredible village full of choices of shopping, restaurants and bars. It’s was a surprise to find lifts closing at 3pm as I’m used the 4pm close times… Beano’s Cabin is a great visit for great creative food while skiing, Chase is an awesome server and GM Ben runs a great ski restaurant. Check out the chicken pot pie

I attended a conference at this resort during the month of June. They had plenty of activities and shopping available at the resort. I really liked the options of food and activities. I could see where this would be a good destination during the winter time for skiing as well.

Beautiful gondola ride and scenic views from the top. I am not sure if It is year round or not but they have 5 person chairs and gondola cars running on the same lift. We had beautiful weather so we rode up on the open air chairs for the best view. I recommend that... weather permitting of course.

One of my favorite ski resorts - we were so blessed to have a late season snow that brought amazing powder in April - absolutely love the tons in McCoy Park! They are really mellow and were covered in powder

We just went to see Beaver Creek Resort for the first time. We walked around the Village. Very quaint, but a little expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed the art gallery, especially the whimsical photography. My favorite was the cowboy playing golf with a putter in one hand and a rifle in the other. His caddie was a buffalo with the bag of clubs slung over its back. It started to rain, so we ducked into Citrea for brunch. What a lucky break! Again, a little expensive, but very tasty. I recommend the French toast with berries, real maple syrup, and a scoop of maple ice cream. (I did gain three pounds over the weekend.)

Beaver Creek Resort is truly amazing any time of year! The beauty of the area is breathtaking, and we absolutely love the charm of the town and the village. In the summer, the hiking is fantastic with scenic trails, and in the fall, the vibrant leaves are a stunning backdrop. Winter skiing here with our family is always a highlight. It’s such a family-friendly resort with something for everyone to enjoy. The Red Buffalo Express is our favorite spot to ski as a family, offering awesome and varied terrain. Plus, you can’t beat the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies they hand out daily at 3 PM—such a fun touch!

Beaver Creek is an incredible destination for both beginners and expert skiers. With a variety of trails and off-trail areas, there's always something new to explore. I've skied here all season and never got bored. Snow conditions are consistently good even better in the expert glades, with excellent grooming in the mornings. Lift lines are rarely long, and all of the resort's faces are easily accessible. The main village at Beaver Creek is smaller compared to nearby resorts, but it offers a charming, family-friendly atmosphere. It's a quiet and beautiful resort, ideal for families seeking fewer crowds and plenty of activities.

Blue Moose Pizza in Beaver Creek Village holds a special place in my family’s heart. Dining at this restaurant is a time-honored, decades-long tradition. Our favorite pizzas are the Cowboy, Chicken Ranch, Marguerita, and Winter. More importantly, we value the fantastic customer experience that the manager, Mark, and his crackerjack staff deliver every time we have the opportunity to eat there. Since Summer 2023, our family has been fortunate to build a friendship with one of its staff members named Raheem. We ALWAYS ask to be seated in Raheem’s section. His outstanding service, joy, and laughter are why we come back. Yes, we love the piping hot, fresh out of the oven pizzas paired with ice-cold Coors Lights. But seeing Raheem and catching up with him matters! He’s a huge reason why Blue Moose Pizza in BC is our favorite restaurant in Vail Valley. I am confident other families feel the same.

Mark is easily my favorite restaurant manager anywhere. He’s always friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like a VIP every time you walk in. Even when the place is packed, he stays cool, checks in to make sure everything’s perfect, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the guests. The whole experience is better because of him. Honestly, he’s the reason we come back! Thanks Mark!!

Absolutely, incredibly disappointed. I have been going to Beaver Creek for more than 20 years. We have always gotten Blue Moose Pizza. It was my favorite childhood treat. Today, I found out that I will never go again. I advise anybody to take my warning. $45 for two 12-inch BURNED pizzas. On top of them being charcoaled, they were soggy/floppy, as you can see by the massive amounts of grease in the picture. The taste is equivalent to DiGiorno Walmart brand oven baked pizza now. For some reason, they changed their, once, delicious recipe. Save your time and money and just eat in Vail or Avon. My kids ate it but asked for Domino's instead the whole entire time. Something that also needs to be mentioned for those of you who unfortunately will go through the same nightmare. I put my phone number in to be informed when I needed to pick up my order. 30 minutes passed, and I still didn't receive a text. So I just decided to walk from my resort back to Blue Moose, thinking it was an input error. Especially since they were not busy. When I got there, I immediately got my order and walked back to my resort. About 25 minutes later, I finally got a text message from them stating that my order was ready. So my pizzas would have just been sitting there cold had I not gone.

We came to Blue Moose twice for lunch over our 4-day stay... the best lunch spot to eat in Beaver Creek! The campfire pizza was phenomenal (great spice with the banana peppers!) and the cowboy pizza was delicious as well. An 18" was perfect to split between us two hungry skiers, and prices are very reasonable for the resort. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

Such a great place! We love the Campfire, Cowboy and p Pepperoni pizzas, and the crust is so good. Raheem has been our waiter a couple times including tonight and he's so nice and positive. Everyone there is great. It's good for Beaver Creek to have a family friendly, approachable place like Blue Moose.

The venue exudes a pleasant ambiance without being overly extravagant. The menu boasts delectable dishes bursting with flavors, prepared freshly on-site. Always a perfect experience here! The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are incredible. My fiance and I had our first date here and we visited another time a year after. The other night we had dinner here the night after I proposed. In the reservation, I had requested the same seats we sat at the bar on our first date. The team kindly reserved them and we were greeted with congratulations and champagne upon our arrival. A special place for us and can’t wait to come back!

We made a quick trip up to the mountains to celebrate our anniversary. A friend recommended Vin48 and we were beyond happy with the rec! Both our hostess and server were incredible - I wish I got their names! We had the crispy brussel sprouts (forgot to take a picture), meatball app, mussels, and cod w/shrimp curry sauce. Everything was delicious!! The owner had cut fresh flowers from his garden for each table and it was the cherry on top of a perfect evening. I cannot recommend this spot enough!

I can’t say enough amazing things about our experience! Impeccable, refined, thoughtful, absolutely delicious! The food and service here is top-notch and by far one of the best in Summit County and truly one of the best meals we’ve had even from Denver in a long time. This will be a must have every time we are in from Denver! Sarah made the night even better, from her thoughtful recommendations to her passion and lovely conversation, to her wine knowledge. Do not skip the Nashville hot Quail, Risotto or the carrot cake (literally best we’ve ever had)!

Amazing meal in Avon with my friends. We ordered multiple things from the menu and the service was great. The carrot cake was so worth it even though I was pretty full but I am really glad we ended up getting it. I’ve never seen a carrot cake like that

The food here is quite good especially for the price but I do feel like some items are a hit and others are only so so, however the hits are quite good. Ask your server what they recommend for a great experience. Atmosphere is relaxed with a hint of elegance make for a great vibe. The great wine selection is a high point but they make good cocktails as well. Every dessert I have gotten here is quite good.

They were very accommodating to our family’s needs, kindly allowing us to move tables not once but twice before we ordered our drinks (I felt bad; but I was with older people who had needs for hearing & it also started sprinkling outside)… Our server, Mare, was lovely. Ticino is an Italian restaurant and bar located in a cozy setting with a patio. The restaurant offers a variety of Italian dishes such as pizza, pasta, and salads. Customers have praised the friendly and professional service, as well as the quick serving of hot and delicious food. The restaurant has been recommended for making reservations in advance, especially for larger groups. It is situated in a hotel building near major hotels in Beaver Creek.
This place is a great Italian restaurant! 🇮🇹 Ticino in Avon 🏔️ serves a wonderful selection of delicious 🤤 dishes 🍽️ - definitely get the Fungi 🍄 Pizza 🍕, Beef 🍖 Soup 🍲, and Cheese 🧀 Appetizer! Staff 👨‍🍳 is nice and welcoming, service is quick ⏲️ and professional, and the ambience 🎶 is great! Would definitely recommend calling 📞 to make a reservation. 🛎️ I wish I knew about this place earlier!

Our reviews had over 56 million views in the last 12 months. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Ticino. Small family owned, must call for reservations. Food is spectacular. She had margherita pizza which had fresh tomatoes and fresh basil. She added anchovies and they were just the right amount. Pizza is thin with lots of flavor but not cracker thin. Think NY style crust. I had the El Diablo and it was spicy but oh so good. loved the fact that the jalapenos were fresh, bread is home made and served hot. We both had a pasta dish to try for the review. You mix and match here which gives you lots of option. Pick a pasta, pick from 9 sauces, pick protein such as shrimp, meatballs, Italian sausage (omg was the sausage great!!!! home made as well), chicken, parmigiana and others. All of it is excellent. They put a small amount of sauce on top but a lot on bottom so you can mix it up if you like lots of sauce. I prefer only a little sauce but she mixed hers up with her gnocchi and loved it. All pasta and gnocchi are homemade daily. Desserts are great here!!! We tried most of them. Cannoli's are hand made only after you order them, very good, The panna cotta is the best dessert with lovely lite little huckleberry type sauce and LOTS of whipped cream. Had the pistachio gelato and the salted caramel and dang they were awesome. Expresso and all your coffee drinks available here as well as a full bar with lots of warm fun drinks to try. This place was awesome and is a must go to when in Vail or Beaver Creek. Cannot say enough about how good it is. The one odd thing is that it is HARD to find. Not good signage and you have to go inside a building and kind of walk around to find it. see photos below of us looking for it. Price is low for the area and food comes out fast and hot. Check out all of our reviews and look at all the photos below. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We have had over 56 million views in the last 12 months and we thank you for that. We don't get paid; we just love to eat. Very authentic feeling little Italian restaurant! Fortunately we were able to grab seats at the bar but definitely make a reservation as it gets busy. Great environment, tasty food, and fast service. Make sure you end with a glass of the homemade limoncello!
Hannah E — Google review
We had a great meal and they took excellent care of our party of five. I can't give five stars for two reasons. First, they refused to split the ticket. My family (wife and daughter) were dining with my parents, so we asked to split that way. Second, they automatically add a 20% "service fee" for parties of five or more. Shame on you management! If you don't trust me to tip appropriately, you must not trust your wait staff to take good care of your customers. I probably would have given more than 20% had I been allowed to make that decision on my own since the service was excellent.
James P — Google review
We loved this place! The food was so good!!! We were shocked the rating wasn't higher. The flavors were delicious and the food came out piping hot! Looking at the poor reviews, a lot of people commented that they couldnt dine because they didnt have a reservation. We went during off season and it was packed!! I can't imagine how busy they are during the winter. You definitely want to book a reservation.
Kristin D — Google review
The staff was friendly and fast, but the pizzas were extremely greasy, which is not excusable for the charge. The price/quality ratio is too far off to recommend this. Maybe it’s better fresh out of the oven, but a pizza should survive a 5-min walk.

Great Italian restaurant! Super cozy and intimate feeling with great food! Had dinner with a small group and everything was great. Our server was very friendly, professional, and prompt and food came out quickly and hot. Great wine selection. The Caesar salad with anchovies was fresh and good. We also tried the lasagna, which was awesome and big enough to share or take left overs home, and a build your own pasta with homemade fettuccine and clams, which was light and good and easy to share as well. Definitely worth a stop for great Italian!

Grouse Mountain Grill

American restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Grouse Mountain Grill, located at the elegant Pines Lodge in Beaver Creek, offers a delightful dining experience with stunning mountain views and seasonal live piano music. The restaurant is known for its New American fine dining, featuring a prix fixe menu that includes options like butternut squash soup or mixed greens salad, organic roasted turkey breast with sage and sausage stuffing, and delectable desserts such as s'more chocolate pie.
Grouse Mountain Grill turned a potential disappointment into an unforgettable experience that has earned them a lifelong customer. In August, I made a reservation for a special occasion in late November. Less than 24 hours before our scheduled dining time—and after I had already confirmed the reservation—the restaurant reached out via OpenTable to let me know they couldn’t serve us that evening. However, they immediately offered to move our reservation to the next day and covered the entire meal, including cocktails and desserts, as an apology. This gesture alone speaks volumes about their commitment to exceptional service. When we finally dined there, everything was outstanding. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and seamless—and the food was a delight. We started with their famous hand-rolled tater tots, which were out of this world. I’m still dreaming about them and wish I could recreate them for Thanksgiving. Next, we split a Caesar salad, which was well-prepared with fresh cracked pepper. While the grated Parmesan was good, I personally prefer flaked Parmesan for a more upscale feel. For entrees, I had the off-menu filet. It was cooked closer to medium-rare than the medium I ordered—not a big deal, so I didn’t mention it to the server. While it was a flavorful cut, it had more fat than I like for a boneless filet. I expect a filet to be lean, so the excess fat was a minor letdown. On the other hand, my spouse’s salmon was perfect. This dish seemed to be the standout of the evening, as many tables ordered it. Everyone, including my spouse, raved about the flawless preparation and seasoning. For dessert, we enjoyed the chocolate cake and carrot cake. Both were delicious, but be aware that the portions are on the smaller side and not shareable, which is a bit unusual for upscale restaurants. Full transparency: our meal was on the house due to the reservation mix-up, but this did not affect my review. Grouse Mountain Grill is an excellent choice in the area, and I highly recommend taking the Village Connect to visit. You’ll enjoy great food, attentive service, and an experience truly worth the cost.

Gourmet food, attentive service and unexpected extras. I had the pretzel encrusted pork chop with the polenta green beans and carrots. Beautiful and incredibly tasty dish that is a house standard (do watch out for a small bit of bone on the end of what otherwise appears to be a boneless chop). There were several entrees competing for my attention. Unexpectedly, a dessert round option on the menu was a Century of Port flight, with tastes of 40, 30, 20, 10-year port. I had heard of this but never seen a venue actually offer this on the menu. Definitely gourmet prices, but it is also at Beaver Creek ski resort. Likely unforgettable if you are able to spend an evening there.

I cannot even begin to explain the breathtaking experience of dining at Grouse Mountain Grill. Nothing brings me more joy than eating with my family surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The food has never failed us – it is absolutely delicious and gourmet. I had the mushroom Bolognese and highly enjoyed it. I also recommend the tater tots; for some reason, they really made the day. 🥔🤍 More than anything, I recommend living in the moment and enjoying some good food with great views. It was a def 10/10✨

The food is absolutely to die for! The cauliflower soup might have been the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth #pause. The short rib melted in my mouth and was perfectly cooked. I would definitely come back to Beaver Creek just to eat here. 10/10!!!

I recently dined at Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek, CO, and it was an exceptional experience that deserves every bit of a five-star rating. From the moment we arrived, the warm ambiance and attentive staff set the tone for a memorable evening. The rustic yet elegant decor, with its cozy fireplace and mountain views, created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. The menu is a masterclass in elevated American cuisine, showcasing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I started with the elk tartare, which was impeccably prepared with a delicate balance of flavors—rich, savory, and just the right touch of spice. For my main course, the Colorado lamb chops were a standout, cooked to perfection with a rosemary-thyme crust that complemented the meat’s natural tenderness. The accompanying truffle mashed potatoes were creamy and indulgent, elevating the dish to new heights. My dining partner raved about the pan-seared scallops, which were beautifully caramelized and paired with a vibrant citrus reduction. The wine selection was equally impressive, with an extensive list featuring both local and international varietals. Our server, who was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate, recommended a fantastic Pinot Noir that paired flawlessly with our meal. Service throughout was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, with every detail thoughtfully executed. Dessert was the grand finale: the warm chocolate lava cake with house-made vanilla ice cream was pure decadence, striking the perfect balance of rich and refreshing. Grouse Mountain Grill isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience that celebrates the best of Colorado’s culinary scene. Whether you’re a local or visiting Beaver Creek, this restaurant is a must. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this gem, where every dish and moment feels crafted with care.

Our waiter,Scott, was attentive and pleasant, made great recommendations and served our party of 14 a delicious dinner. The “tater tots” are special, as is the pork chop entree. Everyone was happy with their steaks and the walleye is tasty too.

The restaurant is beautiful and feels special, the service was outstanding, the main courses were average unfortunately. My Elk dish was bland and my wife didn't like her octopus at all. The waiter did graciously remove it from the bill. On a positive note, my son loved his burger and the brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had and I'm a huge fan of brussel sprouts.

The Dusty Boot Saloon is a rustic steakhouse and saloon with cowboy-themed decor, offering a warm welcome to large groups. Located in Beaver Creek Village, it's a family-friendly restaurant serving American cuisine such as steaks, burgers, wraps, and salads. The menu features an array of dishes including seafood, pasta, Mexican fare, and more. With 16 beers on tap and over 40 tequilas available, it's also a great spot for happy hour specials.
Dusty boot saloon was probably my favorite restaurant of my week here in Beaver Creek. It has a much more casual vibe but the food is exceptional especially the hamburgers. We had a group of 40 and it was our final activity after a scavenger hunt and so we had lots of appetizers that each one was fantastic.

Super casual atmosphere. Both Food and Service were absolutely outstanding at this restaurant. We loved everything we ordered. Steak frites with chimichurri, short rib enchiladas with Brussels, fish of the day. All delicious and I would order them again. Location is also great as it is right near the center of the village. Great selection of Craft beer and cocktails. No reservations at this place, but the wait wasn’t bad. We just took our buzzer and went and walked around the village ice rink and fire pits.

This was my first time at this place. I was attending a conference at the resort. When I was visiting the shops, I noticed it upstairs and decided to try the food. I was immediately seated by a window. The staff was friendly and the service was good. I didn’t have to wait too long for my food. I would definitely go back again as I felt like the menu was something that I enjoyed.

Good atmosphere, good food and excellent service. It is a laud place and was full, but we waited like 20 minutes to be seated and the drinks and the time of waiting for the food, it was pretty fast. Important, if you don’t like spicy sauces, ask when order the chicken wings. Nice place to try!
Lisamaris R — Google review
We were there on a busy day and the place was bustling with visitors. We were greeted very quickly and got a very nice table outside in the shade. Really liked the setting and the atmosphere there. Service was absolutely impeccable, quick and professional and none of our orders were messed up - there were 5 of us. Food was very decent, but, frankly, at the price range, I would expect more flavor and better quality meats. While burgers were good, the dinner salad was just ok and steak added to it was a very cheap cut with virtually no flavors and hard to chew. Prices were higher than I'd like, but expected, for the location. Still, a salad priced comparable to a steak is not right. What I wasn't too impressed with, aside from what I already mentioned, was the 3% cc fee - for the price range, location and semi-upscale type of the establishment, they could have eaten the cost. Or add this to the price of food - at their prices, it wouldn't be too noticeable. Not sure how many guests there carry enough cash to cover the dinner prices. Also, the mentioning of "we reserve the right to add 20% gratuity to any check" is a new level of entitlement. To their benefit, nothing extra was added to our check, but this practice needs to stop.

Great spot in Beaver Creek - we had lemon chicken and a steak - both were great! We also tried the key lime pie and the ice cream sandwich for dessert. They were huge, not the best I’ve had but still good.

Recently spent a few days in Beaver Creek for fall break. Of all the spots we dined, the Dusty Boot was our favorite. The food was phenomenal and our server was outstanding. Definitely recommend and we will visit next time we are in town. Cheers!

One of the more reasonably priced restaurants in the BC plaza. Cowboy kinda atmosphere with ample seating outdoors and inside. Good for families, Happy Hour or a quick bite. Many menu selections however some are better than others. The wait staff is friendly but they appear to be overworked at times. Food service is relatively quick, some items are most likely prepped in advance so choose wisely. Good beverage selections and close to lodging and lifts.

Bobs Place

Sports bar
Restaurant
Bob's Place is a cozy and rustic bar located in downtown Avon, offering a diverse menu of burgers, breakfast items, and Mexican dishes. The food is highly praised for its fantastic quality, making it a must-visit spot for both drinks and meals. While it may lean towards the pricier side, many find that the experience justifies the cost. With mountain views and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
What a great place! As soon as we walked in, a staff member right away acknowledged us while carrying food to a table that we can sit anywhere and they’ll be right with us. Beer was brought out quickly, wings didn’t take long and were really really delicious. Fries are crunchy and freshly made. Just overall great service and food.

One of a kind experience here at Bob's! I loved the Bobcats picture and all the other Bob's on the wall! Staff was friendly and courteous! Food was super delicious, hot and ready right away!

Changing my poor review to EXCELLENT. After my previous attempt at take-out, I went into Bob's tonight and was amazed at the staff's teamwork. The food was great, but it was the service that was the highlight. I'm sorry there isn't a six-star option. Thank you for your reply, Chris!

I contacted Bob's place trying to find a place to host a youth hockey team and their families for breakfast while we were in the area for a tournament (about 50 people). The staff were exceptional. Families did not sit together, players got up and moved around frequently, each family had seperate checks and they handled it all with ease. Staff were patient and friendly throughout. The food was delicious and came out quickly. We were extremely impressed, happy, well taken care of and well fed! Thanks Bob's Place!

Great food, nice atmosphere, very pleasant patio for dining outdoors. We went twice during our brief stay in Beaver Creek West and I had burgers both times, and I'd do it again. Great beef, perfectly cooked as ordered. The tater tots were good, but the Colorado red chili is probably what I'd go back to for a side. There's a selection of burgers, sandwiches, Mexican dishes, and even some fish and seafood offerings. A variety of salads, too. Plenty of options.

Great place to catch a game or a casual meal. They've got a good setup with TVs everywhere . Their breakfast is surprisingly GREAT. We ate there more than once during a week-long stay in Avon. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. Everything we tried was excellent and they've got a great bar too.

Very tasty. Despite the fact that there were many people in the establishment, the service was fast. There are not enough waiters to take orders at the table. Orders are taken only at the bar. Otherwise, everything is great. But the waiter brings the order to the table.

Really enjoyed the whole fish experience. We chose our fish and had several hot and several cold preparations. All of the courses were excellent. My husband tried aged fish nigiri for the first time, which he loved, and our bartender did an excellent job talking us through the different fishes

We love Hooked! We come twice a year in the off-seasons, it is such a treat to get to enjoy good sushi in the valley. The close-knit cozy restaurant is perfect for a date night intimate dinner spot.

Situated conveniently near several hotels, this charming little eatery provides excellent service with friendly staff promptly attending to customers' needs. The food at Pazzo's is both pleasing to the eye and tantalizing to the senses, boasting delightful aromas that whet one's appetite.
Stone oven cooked they way I was taught. Great crust! Some bubbles but not all. Sat oven side at the bar and watched this guy cook everything to perfection....pizzas, calzones, extra deep dish never burnt but always nice and crispy. Busy place but we got our order in quickly and food came out fast. I can't remember the name but the pizza with the broccoli but it was fantastic.

Only had pizza, but it was cooked exactly how i asked. They kept a close eye on everything in their oven and the pizza was delicious. The dough had excellent flavor and texture. Just here for work, but if i ever need to come back i would return
Zookle — Google review
I visited Pazzo’s in February right after I tore my ACL. I wasn’t able to join my friends skiing so I thought some pizza would cheer me up but I was far from wrong. My partner and I decided on Pazzo’s from many options because it looked like the best option. I’ve worked in the food industry and work in customer service. I’ve also gotten my food safety certification three times. I watched the man making our pizza scratch his arm hair and beard then toss pizza dough (he was not wearing gloves). Then I watched him handle cash and cards, pour beer then scratch his arms some more and then toss more dough. I was disgusted and irritated because not only was I watching this happen but our server was dry and neglecting us. The restaurant wasn’t busy so I had no idea why we weren’t getting attention. I could only finish one slice of pizza knowing how the food was handled and as soon as we asked for the check our server had no problem giving us attention. I do NOT recommend this place to eat while you’re in the Avon area.
Aubrey C — Google review
We had the small supreme pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The only reason I can't give the food five stars is that the crust was pretty soggy. It didn't negatively impact the flavor at all, but it made the slices hard to pick up and just a tad less pleasant to eat. For those who want something other than pizza, there's a nice selection of pastas and other things. I'd happily go back.

Justin, Joe and Marlon are truly making the food of the gods. Pazzos pizza is the saver of parties and will cure a hangover the next morning. Make the pizza pilgrimage down valley to Avon. Best pizza spot around. The Aztec will change your life.

I've been a customer since the days when it was called Pizza and Pane. I've never had a bad pizza until tonight. The crust was burnt and almost like a brick. The sauce seems to have changed and not in a good way. Very disappointing!
K S — Google review
We ordered a chicken parm meal and they brought a sub by mistake. They brought a chicken parm meal an hour and a half after we sat down after the rest of the party was done eating. They brought the wrong salad and then when we tried to speak to the manager he said he was not comping the meal and stormed out and slammed the door without even trying to listen to the situation. We also had a broken glass for 1 of our drinks and the server couldn't remember any of our orders and had to re-ask multiple times. There were honestly so many mistakes I can barely remember. I rarely write reviews but this has to be the worst dining experience I've ever had. The only saving grace could be the pizzas we ordered were pretty good. If you aren't getting pizza and beer I'd recommend stay away.

Five Stars - A Timeless Favorite and the Perfect Après-Ski Spot! Pazzo's Pizzeria isn't just a great pizza place; it's a beloved local institution! My girlfriend has fond childhood memories of coming here, and after trying it myself, I can absolutely see why it's endured as the best pizzeria around for so many years. The quality is consistently outstanding. After a long day on the slopes here in Vail, there's truly no better way to refuel and warm up than with a slice (or two!) from Pazzo's. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic pizza in a welcoming atmosphere. It's a must-try!

Maya is a resort hangout that offers modern Mexican cuisine in an upscale atmosphere, complete with a tequila bar and a picturesque patio. While some diners found the dinner entrees to be underwhelming, others praised the fajitas for their incredible flavor and perfect preparation. The cocktails, including the smoking gun cocktail with bourbon and mezcal, were highly recommended. Guests also enjoyed the scenic mountain views from the patio while savoring appetizers and drinks.
The fajitas here are insanely good. We ordered the steak and prawns fajitas and they delivered. Amazing flavor and cooked perfectly. The drinks were great and the view is stunning.

Great views, ambiance, cocktails, chops and salsa. Enjoyed the smoking gun cocktail with bourbon and mezcal. Dinner entrees are pretty mehhhh and not worth the price at all. The steak fajitas were really tough. The crab and shrimp enchiladas were made with canned crab and just mush inside. So gross. Definitely recommend Maya for cocktails, apps, and mountain views from the patio. Eat dinner elsewhere.

Came here for a snack at the Westin. Grabbed a quick beer and a drink with the wife with some quick appetizers. Food was decent but the bartender was alone and a bit burdened so service was slow. With a bit more help for the bartender would have been a 4 at least

Chris our waiter was fantastic. He recommended different dishes on the menu and why he thought they were great. My friend ordered the Colorado Bass and was very pleased with its texture, flavor and presentation. I being a vegetarian had the quinoa roasted vegetable dish and thought it to be outstanding. After dinner we tried a Trio of tequilas with cinnamon orange lime and a tomato wash. All recommendations made by Chris were greatly appreciated. His professionalism and knowledge in assisting us to have a wonderful evening is greatly appreciated. I would recommend for anyone to go back to try out Maya and if you're so lucky you will get Chris.

This airport is a lifesaver in that it started flying in commercial flights. It’s been nice to travel southwest (almost) direct. The planes always park on the runway and you have to walk off, down a ramp, and into the airport which is different and kind of cool… definitely pack a coat or hat for the walk it can be a little brutal 😂 The actual airport is small, there is one place to get food and drinks that is basically a snack bar and then one small restaurant outside of security. The food is what you’d expect. The baggage claim is easy to navigate as it is small and relatively straightforward. The oversized pick up is outside the airport where everyone is getting picked up. The people are generally kind and TSA is efficient. However they do NOT like when you accidentally try to bring hand warmers with you. Make sure you check your bag carefully lol
Drea H — Google review
Nice small airport with hospital associates. Clean restrooms and seating areas. TSA was friendly and pretty efficient. Give yourself extra time during busy ski season. Choice of rental cars can be limited which isn’t too surprising for the size of the airport.

The operations staff at this airport stranded us for 2 hours on the tarmac without pursuing any simple alternatives for us, or helping us with a temporary gate. Update to Owner, 16-Jan-2025: I definitely understand there is more to the story than just waiting. My concern is about the operational response to the situation, and the resultant customer experience. I understand that their could be limitations getting into a designated "gate," per se, for reasons you noted (even if I disagree with them, but so be it). However, note that it wasn't like we were connecting to a gate with a jet bridge, only pulling into a designated space, from which a manual, wheel-up ramp was used to disembark. From there, we walked a short distance outside and then into the terminal. Even if there wasn't a gate for us to arrive to on that flight, it would have been an acceptable solution to maneuver the plane in a safe way near the terminal but not at a "gate", wheel/walk one of the same manual ramps to our aircraft, allow passengers to disembark, and walk and/or take a bus to the terminal. Finally, when ready, the aircraft could have been moved to gate for the subsequent flight. I've done this many times at other airports. However, in this case, despite being a mere 1,000 feet or so from the nearest gate, all passengers were forced to sit on a plane for 2+ hours, only to move a very short distance and disembark in the same wheel-up ramp and again walk, outside, to the terminal. All this being said, it was a combination of your and UA's decision to make, and it was decided that there was no other solution than to make us wait for 2+ hours. It is your decision to make, but looking forward, if the only operational solution in these cases is to make passengers wait for up to 3 hours for a gate to open, I would prefer to avoid the risk of this situation happening again. I understand it's a complex situation to run an airport, especially when there are weather delays, but I feel that there was a simple solution in this case that was not pursued (or not planned for, such as creating policies and procedures and approvals for overflow gates, whatever the terminology may be), creating a difficult and unpleasant situation for passengers.

Very small airport. You must exit airplane on Ramp to Tarmac, so dress for cold weather since you can get cold outside. Strangest thing is existing airport have no way to go out unless you exit when your airplane arrives. So don't delay leaving or will get stuck begging security to let you out. Tried out both restaurants, and 3 Wire was not bad, but I did have to exit outside secure area to get there. Employees were kind and helpful. Also, the airport is a long way from Steamboat and closer to Craig, which is not the main destination but women sitting next to me was actually going going to Craig to visit her son but that was very abnormal. Views are nice of mountains during flight so for that and sking is a great destination.

All airport staff friendly and nice. It’s a great airport to have in this location. Unfortunately, flights are frequently delayed. So if flying on United to Denver, be sure to have a long layover. I have missed my connecting flight twice in the last week flying out of there.

Fantastic regional airport with nice staff and awesome direct access from EWR via United. Followed the suggestion of local friends and arrived three hours early and had no issues whatsoever. TSA has new scanners and had all lanes open. Food could use some value improvement in terms of quality vs price-the $17 breakfast burrito and $5.50 coffee were mediocre at best but your only choice so come prepared.

DON’T be fooled by Lyft/Uber! They’ll quote one rate on the tarmac, which will triple by the time you get to the curb. I locked in a fare at the gate, only to have it cancel and then quoted 3X. Ended up taking Epic Mountain Express to my destination for $32 vs >$100 for Uber

Directions / driving to airport very easy. Parking easy peasy and reasonable. Easy access to walk over to airport terminal. Security didn't open until 6:30. I thought odd with all the early flights? Maybe it was off season hours. I didn't utilize food or coffee but saw was available.

This is a good, small, and efficient airport not far from the Vail ski resort. The airport seemed clean, the TSA process was quick, and my flight was on time. There’s also plenty of transportation options to Vail and the other local ski resorts. There’s nothing more you could ask for. I’d definitely recommend flying into Eagle County Regional Airport.

A new and beautiful terminal but with very limited eating options during delayed flights. One bar/restaurant near terminal 2 and a prepackaged food and snack store near terminal 3. It is a bit of the roll of the dice at times getting to land and take off as weather can be problematic in this tight valley. Comfortable seating and a great vista make waiting not so bad. Great bus and shuttle service are available and easy to find to the west corner of the terminal just beyond baggage claims.

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport

Domestic airport
Airport
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is the gateway to this snowy, backcountry beauty and glamorous destination. It offers nonstop commercial flights from various cities and numerous connecting flights, making it easily accessible. Additionally, there are charter and private jet options available for those seeking a more exclusive travel experience. Whether you're here for skiing or a family vacation in the Rocky Mountains, Aspen has become more budget-friendly with affordable accommodation options.
I love this airport. It’s one of the best to fly out of because it’s so small. The parking lot is right next to the terminals. There is almost never a wait to get through security. The planes are smaller and regional so they create less noise pollution. The views when walking on to the plane and flying out of the airport are spectacular. You can also very easily coordinate a driver to pick you up from the airport. Baggage claims are easy to navigate. Very well organized location. That said, be sure to check your flight status in inclement weather, as many flights are either cancelled, rerouted, or delayed during periods of heavy snowfall. This is a very difficult airport for planes to fly in and out of.

The airport is situated in a wind tunnel with one runway. The pilots are forced to reduce weight to takeoff almost every afternoon. We listened to four other flights be delayed while they wait for people to volunteer to get off. The same happened with our flight. We volunteered to get off since we were already delayed past our connecting flight departure. The airport is hot. There is limited seating (especially when flights start getting delayed). There is one food option and it’s overpriced. It’s frustrating that flights are required to depart at 70% capacity most days and the airlines still fully booked them. On top of all of that, it’s an expensive airport to use in the first place. If staying in aspen, it’s cost effective and easier to rent a car and drive to Denver. If not, book the earliest flight out of aspen available.

JUST DRIVE. IT WILL BE FASTER AND FAR LESS FRUSTRATING. This airport clearly has some sort of conspiracy going on that apparently all the drivers and locals are fully aware of as we've been warned as soon as we drove in (we decided to take a flight back out to Denver which was a HUGE mistake. Should have just driven). They wait till you check in and go through security to suddenly last minute delay your flight claiming high winds are preventing take offs or landings, even while right outside you can physically see planes taking off and landing!!! We were not the only ones. Every single plane here was delayed no matter where it was going. The airport is small, cramped, and charges $17 for a small bag of chips, relying on the fact that all the people stuck in this small cramped space for hours on end will eventually need to buy food. If we had just rented a car and driven from our hotel, we would've been in Denver long before our plane even took off. And it's one excuse after another for each new delay. At one point, they delayed us an additional hour (on top of an existing four hour delay) claiming that Denver was full of thunderstorms and isn't taking off or landing. Upon checking the weather, it was partly cloudy with SOME wind (not even high wind). And even if Denver had an hour of not accepting flights, it would have still taken over an hour to board and actually fly out there, so it made no sense that they still delayed boarding and take off here! Seriously, just drive. Stay away from this airport as nothing about it is reliable and they do everything possible to make you as uncomfortable as possible. The staff is nice, but that honestly does little to make up for such major delays and excuses.

My brother and I booked separately and wanted to ask if we can possibly sit together on the plane. There were a couple of people in line to talk to the TSA agent in front of us, who were serviced very quickly. When it was our turn though the two ladies wearing glasses started talking long to each other and acting like they did not see us. Once we left another woman went up and was serviced just like the others quickly. I have not dealt with racism, but when I ask in line about us sitting together the lady mentioned I should have asked before, when she herself had ignored me with the other agent. Never again!

We flew in to Aspen for the first time ever in Thursday from Houston. Loved the quaint airport and friendly people. This was not a leisure trip but to help get someone moved into an apartment from Carbondale to Basalt. We have been here to return to Houston today since 12:30. Our departure time keeps getting pushed up. The person moving really could have used our help rather than us sitting here for what looks like over 5+ hours. During the summer, booking us overnight could help boost a less booming economy in the area than experienced in the winter and we have really been victims of the situation. There is always room for improvements. One needs to be made here. Have some respect for your customers. . . -A very frustrated United Airlines customer!

Very beautiful! ~ space is so limited. You are on top of each other waiting to board at gate. Also not sure if this is just United or ASE airport… - but 20+ of us were told to gate check carry-on bags as we tried to get on the plane. - Sent back down the jet bridge/ramp to luggage collecting station… - only to be told the baggage handlers cannot give us the green gate check luggage tags… - Sent back up ramp with bags again to get our tag from stewardess. Thankfully we got to leave luggage with her at that pass. She just piled a bunch of bags toward cockpit. Very back and forth for 20+ passengers. Just a little crazy.

Compact airport ever seen in my life. There are many colourful flowers in summer and a monument of gondola outside the airport. You can take a taxi as soon as get out the airport from the departure door and it was very convenient. Including gratuities we paid $60 to snowmass but turned out there are FREE public bus.On our way back home, the flight was delayed by storm and it seems that it's very easy to be affected by the weather as it's surrounded by mountains.
