Water & Amusement Parks
Perched atop Iron Mountain in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park offers a unique blend of thrilling amusement park attractions and stunning mountain vistas. Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, from guided cave tours to adrenaline-pumping rides like the Alpine Coaster and Giant Canyon Swing. Families can delight in kid-friendly attractions such as the Wild West Express roller coaster and Mine Wheel Ferris wheel.
Fun rides and SPECTACULAR sunset and views. A bit expensive but short lines enough to ride the few rides to your heart's desire. Cave tours were neat to see and nice place to cool off from the sun. Staff were friendly and bar drinks strong. Evening gondola city view is perfect way to end the night.

Absolutely worth coming to check this place out. The rides were simple and fun. The cave tour was fun. The food was good enough. Don't expect nice restaurant quality food. But we enjoyed it. Draft beer was yummy. The views were absolutely beautiful and the gondola that takes you up there, was super super fun. The employees all were nice. We didn't find a rude person up there at all. The vibe was great. We stayed up there from open to close. Took our time experiencing everything and riding the rides several times. The gift shop has surprisingly fair prices. This place i would say is a must visit if you are in Glenwood Springs or near. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back when we can. Thank you.
James — Google review
Lovely, smaller amusement park with plenty to do. Our group went during the week (Thursday) and had a blast. Line wait times were short and all the rides were exciting. The food was also pretty decent (burgers and chicken tenders - as to be expected with these locations). I highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance and paying a little extra ($10 when we went) for preferred parking. It's absolutely worth it as you can park right next to (if not very close) the gondolas that take you to the park.
Keev — Google review
Took my dad and my son here. My dad loves these rides. They’re unique because they’re hanging over the mountain, which adds a little extra thrill. It’s a great place not a lot of lines. We usually go in September October. Beautiful view from the mountain tops and the food is not that bad. The Cape tours are pretty cool too. The people that give the tour seem like they really enjoy it and are very knowledgeable about how caves work and all of the formations..
Izak R — Google review
The views are stunning. The prices are reasonable. The coaster is probably one of the funnest things I’ve ever done and the cave tours are absolutely amazing if you have kids or even just if you’re an adult, the gondola ride is really fun and just the views when you come out of the caves or up top I absolutely love it here and if you’re visiting, you should check it out and do all of the rides and all of the cave tours, the guides and the tour guides are absolutely amazing extremely knowledgeable extremely funny. I absolutely love every time I come to visit going to Glenwood Springs and go to the adventure park.
Ghost — Google review
Being a park and coaster enthusiast I’ve been to many parks. I had heard mostly good things about Glenwood Caverns and decided to take a day trip up there with a friend. I was thoroughly impressed with the park! The pricing felt reasonable for the attractions offered, service and staff were excellent, the atmosphere was quite nice, the food was decent, and the rides were of a good quality overall! I especially enjoyed the cave tours and 4 coasters! The tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made for a fun experience inside both caves! I do wish they had a few more rides with more variety, but what they have is great!
Josh C — Google review
After I got around the hiccup that was me figuring out the free parking, the GCAP was a excellent addition to my Glenwood experience. The views up there are hard to beat, and while we intitially were up there in nothing but rain and fog, when the clouds finally parted it was truly magical. It is to be noted that the adventure park is a bit limited to what younger children can do (think 10 and under) and some of the rides are a bit too high intensity for those of young age and wrangling any youngsters in caves can also be a hassle. I wasn't wrangling children myself but parents be aware. The caverns are absolutely stunning but the Fairy Cavern miiiight trigger the unknowning claustrophobic (don't find out the hard way folks) Overall - lovely experience - definitely recommend.
Paige K — Google review
Yes you can drive up on Transfer Trail, up to the lot where I took these picture. Transfer Trail is a free public road. There is a separate back service only private road with restricted access to Glenwood Cavern Adventure park that is not open to the public. It is gated with no trespassing, but all other roads are free and open to the public. It is a totally free drive, mostly gravel, but no need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Nice place to stop, enjoy the views, enjoy your picnic lunch. If you like, you can also visit Glenwood Adventure Park, ride the Gondola up and enjoy all the park has to offer. Gate passes run from $37 to $84 per person per day. I didn't see any family friendly pricing options on their website. Enjoy.

Iron Mountain Hot Springs, located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, is a serene and rejuvenating destination for swimming in natural hot springs. The facility offers a family pool with stunning views of the nearby river and mountains. Visitors can also enjoy a diverse selection of food from on-site food trucks while soaking in the therapeutic mineral pools. Iron Mountain Hot Springs recently expanded to include 10 new riverfront pools that replicate the mineral compositions of famous hot springs worldwide.
Amazing experience at Iron Mountain. It’s been about 8 years since I’ve been here and things have changed quite a bit. There is now an additional “premier” area that has like 15 additional pools inspired by hot springs from other countries and have different temps and mineral content. The temperature of the pools ranges from 92 degrees to 109. Our reservation was at 2pm on a Wednesday and the place did not seem very crowded at all. There were a couple people in every pool and we were able to try all of them without any issues. The property has amazing mountain views and Colorado river running right in front of the hot springs. It is very beautiful and the relaxing music they play makes your experience even more enjoyable. The changing rooms are going through some renovations but as a compensation, they are offering a 25% discount on food and drinks which makes the overall experience even better. We had reserved a 5 hour time slot and I feel it was just right…3 hours would not have been enough to take in all the sights and try all the pools. Most local hotels in the area are offering discounts to the hot springs so when you book a room, ask them for a discount code before you reserve the hot springs. Will definitely be back in the future…it was an amazing experience

Our visit to Iron Mountain Hot Springs was nothing short of magical. We went in the evening, arriving just after 6:30 PM, and it turned out to be the perfect time to soak and relax. As the sun began to set, the entire place took on a serene, golden glow—especially along the Colorado River, which runs right next to the pools. Watching the sunset reflect off the water while soaking in the warm mineral pools was a truly peaceful and unforgettable experience. The pools themselves were clean, well-maintained, and offered a variety of temperatures, so it was easy to find the perfect one to unwind in. The setting is natural and beautiful, surrounded by mountains and trees, making it feel like a true escape from the busy world. Even though it was a popular time, it never felt overcrowded, and the atmosphere remained calm and respectful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything—from check-in to the changing facilities—was organized and spotless. If you're in Glenwood Springs, I highly recommend visiting Iron Mountain Hot Springs, especially in the evening. The combination of warm mineral waters, mountain views, and a riverside sunset is an experience you won’t forget. 16 Geothermal Soaking Pools Naturally shaped pools with temperatures ranging from 98°F to 108°F, each with its own size, shape, and view.

This place surpassed my expectations. It’s like an outdoor spa/resort experience. Exploring the different hot springs (pools like a hot tub) was fun. Kid friendly side as well, with a pool that they can enjoy. The cafe served good food, like resort food/snacks and reasonable prices. The bathhouse was clean, lockers and towels were included in the fee. 3 hours was sufficient time to enjoy springs. There is an adult only side, I did not experience, choose the premiere access ticket for this.

We visited Iron Mountain Hot Springs on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. It was clean, the food was great, and the staff were very nice. It was an absolutely perfect way to spend an afternoon. If we lived close we would for sure be getting a membership.

What an experience we had at Iron Mountain Hot Springs. The amazing mountain and river views. Nothing beats a nice soak after a day of exploring. Loved the large selection of temperatures of each pool. Cody was very nice and helpful which we appreciated upon checkin. Purchase online you save $5 and can be booked same day. Pass includes locker, towels and unlimited water station. Bring your own water bottle to refill or paper cups are provided. The shower stall have body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Bring your flip flops. Great experience and we loved it.

Weather was cool so going in and out of each type of hot spring was perfect. Beautiful views. Calming. Fire pit area. Great for warming or drying off. I felt amazing the next say after soaking. Wish I lived closer to go more frequently. They do have food you can purchase. They do not have pictures of what you order so that was only negative. I ordered something called Alpastor. OMG!! It was freaking delicious. If you can eat Pork highly recommend. My boyfriend had the beef aujus if had a picture probably would not of ordered. He said it was good but do not give you a big enough cup to dip the sandwich only to pour it on. Bread was too much. Prices high you have to expect it, tourists area. Was a very wonderful experience and memory.
AJ K — Google review
We had a relaxing soak. It was fun to go from pool to pool learning about different Hot Springs across the world. The facilities are really nice. The dressing rooms and showers are clean. We especially appreciated the chip activated lockers that are complementary.
Quinten K — Google review
The problem with Google reviews is that it only goes up to 5 stars. I'd give this place more if I could. My wife and I visited this place with zero expectations and we were absolutely impressed with the property. The pools on the natural side (aka geothermal side) of the property feels like they were accidentally found like that and then they built a facility around it. It all blends in so smoothly and organically with the environment. The inspired pool sideof the property feels and looks very clean, organized and deliberate. It also has an exclusive resort feel to it. It's truly a relaxing place where you not only soak in all the minerals but also the views and environment.

Yampah Spa & Vapor Caves

Beauty salon
Yampah Spa & Vapor Caves in Glenwood Springs is a historic and unique attraction with underground chambers that provide mineral-rich therapeutic steam. Believed to have been used by the Ute Indians for healing rituals, these natural vapor caves are now part of Yampah Spa, offering visitors access to hot springs and mineral baths. The spa utilizes the natural hot mineral waters rich in therapeutic minerals for a world-class day spa experience.
my third time at this unique spa, the vapor caves are so relaxing. they are hot, humid, dark, peaceful. everything you need for a physiological reset. there's a beautiful solarium with lounge chairs and heaters where you can relax and drink water to cool off a bit between cave sessions. if you're extra hot or need fresh air, you can go out on the small porch where you can sit on benches to take in a sweeping view of the mountains. one cave pass is good for 2 hours and includes a body towel and a hand towel. I suggest bringing flip flops to wear around the facility and especially in the caves. everyone wears swim suits in the caves and brings the hand towels to dip in cold water (there are faucets down in the caves and bins to fill with cold water) and lay on your head/neck to cool off a bit. you will be drenched in sweat and humidity five minutes in. the caves are quiet, with only whispering when absolutely necessary. the caves impose an attitude of respect and reverence and most people meditate or sit in silence, eyes closed, soaking in the natural benefits of the vapors. just remember to check the clock at the top of the steps before descending into the caves and give yourself a break to chill out every 20 minutes or so. just listen to your body. I deeply enjoyed this religious experience and spent my time in the caves thanking Jesus for His love and for unimaginable blessings in this new year:)

An Unforgettable Sanctuary of Wellness and Wonder I visited Yampah Spa in Glenwood Springs just two days ago, and I am still basking in the afterglow of what was truly a superb, soul-nourishing experience. The highlight? A solid two hours of “d’etichetta” in the natural vapor caves—a deeply immersive ritual that felt like being wrapped in the earth’s most intimate embrace. The mineral-rich steam melted away tension, cleared my mind, and opened up my senses. It was like nature herself was gently cleansing my entire being. What followed was nothing short of divine: a full-body mud wrap using luxurious, high-quality products that completed the detoxification journey. My skin was left feeling ultra-soft, like silk to the touch—glowing, renewed, and alive. Throughout the caves and spa rooms, I felt surrounded and empowered by the energy of massive 300-kilo crystals, placed intentionally to amplify grounding and healing. Their presence isn’t just aesthetic—it’s transformative. The entire facility has recently been beautifully renovated, adding an elegant, elevated feel while preserving the sacred connection to nature that makes Yampah so unique. This place isn’t just a spa—it’s a portal to inner peace, clarity, and pure pleasure. Come discover what it feels like to fall in love with your own sensazione. You’ll leave satisfied, rejuvenated, and craving more.

I will post a video for you to experience how it looks. It's amazing and naturally beautiful. The caves are filled with a sulfur smell. For those who book a massage ask them who their masseuse is they are very booked and to save a hassle for them and yourself request right away man or woman.

Ms. Luz was amazing!! My girlfriend and I had the mineral bath soak, the body wrap which included hands and feet scrubs and our bodies slathered in what felt like warm honey heaven and we experienced the vapor caves. I previously visited Yampha Spa & Vapor Caves three or four years ago. While there I videoed my girlfriend while relaxing in the solarium. I told her that I had no words to describe my experience. I then shared that soon as I could financially afford it, I make sure she had the experience. Well, I made it happen, she had the experience and said it was, "Amazing!" And that she loved Ms. Luz, too!! I go beyond highly recommending Yampha Spa & Vapor Caves as a place to experience in Glenwood Springs! And request Ms. Luz for a body wrap and mineral bath soak!

I had the most wonderfully relaxing experience at Yampah spa! Being my first visit I was unsure what to expect however myself and my guest were warmly welcomed by Alba! Such a healing and pampering experience overall. We enjoyed the vapor caves, 30 min bath soak and a rose body wrap….absolutely fabulous! Also my therapist Luz was the BEST! Incredibly professional, prompt and made me comfortable during the treatment! I can’t wait to visit her again! Thank you for this beautiful experience.

Yampah Vapor Caves: A Steamy Retreat with Room for Etiquette The Yampah Vapor Caves offer a truly captivating underground experience. Walking through these natural steam caves, enveloped by the warm, mineral-rich vapors, is incredibly serene. The ambient music and dripping water create a perfectly relaxing atmosphere. However, the tranquility is often disrupted by a few loud visitors who ignore the quiet area signs, behaving more like they're at a pool party. There's also an issue with towels left on benches, despite limited space. A simple reminder at the front desk upon check-in about maintaining quiet and tidiness could greatly improve the experience, as many likely don't read the signs. These small disruptions can unfortunately spoil the ambiance for others. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend this place. My facial with Jolissa was outstanding; she was continuously engaged for the entire hour, providing exceptional service. To enhance the experience, I suggest the caves be more proactive in reminding guests about expected behavior and cleanliness to preserve the unique ambiance.

A perfect, relaxing start to our anniversary weekend! We did the Tranquility Couples Package at the Vapor Caves in Glenwood Springs, which included a 25-minute back, neck, and shoulders massage, a 30-minute private mineral bath, and two hours of access to the vapor caves. Everything was thoughtfully put together and relaxing from start to finish. We arrived about an hour early (which I highly recommend!) to enjoy the vapor caves beforehand. The facility was clean, smelled great, and the front desk was welcoming. They walked us through the setup and provided a robe, towel, and a small hand towel. The layout is essentially one long hallway with everything you need—locker rooms, showers, solarium, and the caves themselves. Lockers have keypads for extra peace of mind, although I do wish there were designated changing areas in the locker room. The vapor caves were incredible—you feel the humidity instantly, and it’s recommended to stay down for only 10–15 minutes at a time. There’s a hose for cooling down, which came in handy. I do wish there was a clearer system for clean vs. used buckets, as people were soaking their feet and I accidentally used one to wipe my face—oops! Definitely bring a water bottle into the caves. We cooled off in the solarium between visits—it was peaceful with comfy chairs, soft music, and cucumber/lemon water. Then we were taken to our private mineral bath, which was heavenly—hot, calming, and came with an ice towel, water, and chocolates. Luz was friendly and professional throughout. The massage was a lovely way to end the package. Hilda took great care with pressure and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. My only critique is the booking system—you have to email and wait for a call to confirm, which could definitely be streamlined. But it’s a small hiccup in an otherwise wonderful experience. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for something relaxing and unique in Glenwood Springs.
Brooke W — Google review
The spa was clean and the staff were friendly. My best friend and I did the 80 minute full body massage option. I had Amy and she did a good job and had good communication. The only thing I didn’t like was that the top of the massage rooms are open so you can easily hear the other people receiving services during your session. This was a bit distracting and took away from the relaxation aspect I have received in completely separated room massages. Afterwards we were able to sit in the vapor cave for as long as we wanted.

Public swimming pool
Glenwood Hot Springs Pool is a historic hot springs pool located in a serene mountain setting. The site has a rich history dating back to 1886 when the Glenwood Hot Springs Company was formed and major developments began.
Been coming to this for many years. Always look forward to come and soak when I visit from New Jersey. There plenty of room for many to come and enjoy the springs. It’s always clean and well cared for. The staff is kind. Theres many things to do around the pool as well. Like shops, restaurants, all kids if attractions, historic places and so on. You won’t regret the pools and the different temperatures they provide. Has a good plunge of 52 degrees. Has showers, bathrooms and changing rooms. People are kind there also. Kids have a diving board, and small shallow pools. All around a great experience and not expensive. All day pass starts at $38 and you can stamp your hand an come in and out throughout the day. Had a cafe with food and drinks by the pool.

If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing, spa experience, this isn’t it. It’s more targeted towards tourism and a family friendly poolside atmosphere than a spa. It was expensive, but it did provide you with reentry all day, unlike Iron Mountain. I was expecting it to be more of a luxurious place, but it did not feel so. The grill and snack bar reminded me of a baseball game, and the grill closed at 4. No alcoholic drinks were allowed outside the grill area, so you couldn’t sip by the springs. The springs were great, I enjoyed the mineral baths and how they became adult only after 5, but it wasn’t the experience I was looking for. Also! It does not have a lazy river! I thought it did from the pictures, but it’s actually a tube slide.
Ashley B — Google review
Spent 9 hours there... gotta get your money's worth. 😁 Went there with 4 kids, 2 adults. Spent 8 hours during the day, the returned after dinner for 1 hour. The kids loved it all... lots of varieties of pools, plus the splash pad, plus the chutes area. We had lunch at the grill as the food cart required a physical credit card and we didn't have one. Nothing was cheap, but we had so much fun!! Pro tips: bring your own towel... it costs $5 to rent one. Don't bother coming back with kids after dark, all pools are closed to them except the big two and interest level dropped and it was more crowded. Come early to get chairs. There are locker rooms on the second floor... less used, so cleaner.
Shana G — Google review
Absolutely lovely, especially in the evening hours. I wish I could have been able to spend more time there. With plenty of temperature variety there is pretty much a pool for everyone. The Springs have a well balanced scale of family fun but also allowing childless individuals a place to relax in the evening - catering to everyone's tastes. The staff were very helpful and professional. I would take on I-70 again just for a chance to be at the springs.

It was an amazing little getaway to relax in the natural hotsprings. I stayed at the Lodge which was fully renovated recently and the room was beautiful. Bathtub didn't drain well but very minor and didn't effect our stay. Staff at the lodge and hotspring pool were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and included with the hotel stay. Hotsprings pool was also included with our hotel stay but can get in without hotel stay but pricey. I thought it was worth the stay in the lodge for full access. Next stay, I would like to try Hotel 1888 which is an 21+ hotel.

My favorite Hot Springs of any hot springs that I've ever been to. Amazing place, great pools, great amenities. The fact they have a cold plunge pool as well as a very hot spring is absolutely excellent! And the views are spectacular as well.
Eric W — Google review
Wasn't worth the $30+ dollars that I paid for a day pass. I was done after 90 minutes. The water slides and kids area was closed (it's only open on weekends from 12-5)-kids area. The hottest pool was over 100°F. It was nice, like being in a swimming pool sized hot tub with waterfall. Seating was provided under most waterfalls. In the great pool they had special seats for neck massagers and fountains for shoulder massagers. There's an area in the great pool where you can do laps, and after that section there was another section with a diving board that was around 12ft deep. Plenty of friendly lifeguards too. The snack bar was closed, but there was another spot on site for food. No swimsuit? The gift shop has a HUGE variety of bikinis, swimsuits and swim trunks. The lockers are FREE.
L M — Google review
Nice but needs improvement. You pay a lot for so little. 3 pools closes at 5 an 4 other closes at 6. And they say we’re open until 10pm. Which is not. The food service closes at 8 pm. You pay for everything nothing is included. To use a towel is $5. Food and Drink are not allowed while the food is very poor and super expensive. Even more, the chairs don’t have a table next to it in order to increase the capacity.

Brewpub
Glenwood Canyon Brewpub, located in the historic Hotel Denver, is a brick brewpub and restaurant known for its hearty pub favorites and craft beer offerings available for takeout in growlers. The pub offers a welcoming atmosphere catering to both beer enthusiasts and health-conscious individuals with a menu featuring healthy appetizers, salads, entrees, grilled fish, chicken dishes, and vegetarian-friendly options.
The service was fast, and the people were friendly. One thing I want to touch on a little more is the cheese curds. They are hand breaded and spicy. They are likely the best cheese curds I have ever had in my entire life. I really liked the pretzel as well. Went on a Monday night a little after dinner rush around 8 for appetizers. Would recommend this place to anyone just based on the cheese curds.

I’ve been to the Glenwood Canyon Brewpub a few times and it never disappoints! They make their own root beer and have an incredible root beer float. The cheese curds with spicy dipping sauce are perfectly crispy. I love their black bean burger and the service is excellent.
Emma A — Google review
Ashton was a very good server helping us through the beer menu. I ended with a pilsner, just what I needed then, light bright, easy to drink. We also had an IPA, really lovely hops appropriately bitter. I had fish and chips. Two large pieces of crunchy breaded real cod, glad I did not order the third piece. More fries than I could eat with a dab of coleslaw. It was a bit dry and lacked much distinctive flavor for my taste. Also order pulled pork sandwich. Large serving toasted bun. Pork was good, on the sweet side for those who like that. Fine pub lunch food and drink. It was quiet at 1230 but when we drove by in the evening at 645 the line to get in was out the door.

Beers are the best in town! I had the y and Chips & I really enjoyed them, batter wasn’t heavy. Great flavor. My fiancée had the canyon salad and it was a bust. The chicken was really dry and no flavor at all. Recommend the hanging lake lager or Coloradan. Come for the beer and skip the food if you can.
Julian G — Google review
The soda situation was a bit odd. I tried both a Dr Pepper and a Coke, but something was definitely off—maybe watered down, maybe an issue with the carbonation. Either way, $3.50 felt steep for something that didn’t taste quite right, especially as the designated driver. At our table, the watermelon mule was the favorite drink, while the pilsner was the least enjoyed. The Hanging Lake Lager stood out since it was ordered a second time. The menu itself offers a nice variety. I went with the ravioli (with chicken), two companions ordered the wagyu burger, and the fourth chose wings. The wings were described as “very good, nicely done.” The burgers were “delicious”—huge portions, enough for leftovers. My ravioli was excellent as well, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The food was so good that I couldn’t resist ordering dessert after hearing the description of the peach cobbler. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the rest of the meal. The “crust” was more like soggy bread, the peaches were tasty, but the ice cream was bland and already melted despite the cobbler not being hot (contrary to what the waitress said). The whipped cream ended up overpowering the dish. One thing that left a bad taste was the bill. There’s an automatic 3% charge (a “tip” for the kitchen) that isn’t disclosed on the menu. For a place with already high prices, it feels like the owner is pushing labor costs onto customers rather than paying the staff fairly. On top of that, there was even a $0.50 charge for mayo, which came across as nickel-and-diming. Our waitress was friendly and handled little issues with a smile.

We had a wonderful dinner here last night with our four kids. Service was great. The food was all really good. Couldn't even get photos before everyone dug in!

Great food, cold beer, and a really nice atmosphere! The staff was friendly and fast — and the wings are an absolute must! Perfect spot to relax after exploring Glenwood Springs. Highly recommend! 🍻

We just finished up at the Hot Springs and headed over to get some food. I highly recommend having the burger and the fries are excellent and crispy. The waiter knew how to recommend a beer based on what they had available and the entire atmosphere was very cozy.

Glenwood Canyon, located in Colorado, is a picturesque and iconic destination along the Colorado River. The canyon features a highway, train route, and biking path that run alongside the river. We were just passing by but we were impressed how beautiful this canyon is. Very scenic route, just a shame we didn't have time for a hike.

We experienced Glenwood Canyon via the highway, the Colorado River runs through this canyon and next to the highway. There are several places to pull off for views or to drive down to the river and several tunnels. We really enjoyed driving through this canyon, the walls of the canyon are very beautiful and picturesque! On of Colorado's most beautiful drives.

What a stunning drive through this part of Glenwood Springs! You can actually pull off on highway 70 as you’re going East just outside of the city on ‘No Name road.’ There is a small parking lot where you can leave your car and walk for two miles on a paved trail that takes you through the canyon back to the city, really awesome place!

We biked the river trail 15 miles in then back and it was well worth it we seen a lot of wild life! And the scenery was amazing.
MrUtah22 — Google review
Great drive through the canyon yesterday and today. Stopped at the open rest stops and restrooms were open and clean and the parking lots were cleared of snow for the most part. Was able to walk along the trail at the Grizzly Creek rest area and snap a few photos. The trail was obviously covered with snow so use a little caution.

In Glenwood Springs, visitors can enjoy a variety of attractions and entertainment options. The Glenwood Vaudeville Revue is a must-see comedy-dinner show that offers original skits, songs, and jokes suitable for all ages. At the Riviera Supper Club & Piano Bar, guests can dine while being entertained with showtunes and familiar favorites. Additionally, the town boasts an array of dining choices ranging from breweries to fine dining establishments, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate.
I’ve been traveling to Glenwood Springs for many years because of my job. Absolutely love the Vaudeville Review. It hits for so many reasons. I love that the great people and performers here have kept this style of entertainment going. They do a great job of providing laughs and entertainment for all to enjoy including kids. The songs are performed well and are very funny parodies. There was an amazing performance with a harp this evening that killed! My favorite skit might have involved a dog at a restaurant. The performers are also your wait staff and do a wonderful job serving food and drinks while also hustling for their acts. It’s a great theater set up, nice bar and from what I can see, all the food is from local vendors. Absolutely top notch people here! I highly recommend this spot, especially if you like musical type entertainment. They change the shows a few times a year, so you can see multiple shows a year. Come out and bring family and friends and support your local businesses.

We had such a fantastic time here for my wife's birthday date. The performance was fantastic from start to finish. We also really enjoyed the food quality and selection, as well as the ample non-alcoholic drink menu. Their parody version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody was my personal highlight of the show, though the father daughter duet between Tommy and Danni was also phenomenal! Oh, and they have a performancing puppy! The show is high energy, dynamic, and good for all ages. Wonderful date night activity, or a place to bring friends and family visiting from out of town. Especially great if you're a tourist here yourself and want the best return of entertainment for your money!

Had a great time at the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue. Hilarious show, tasty food, friendly cast member. A great night out for family, friends, dates, even on one's own!

I was very skeptical of the show at first. It was our anniversary and my wife wanted to go see this show. I said ok ( not to excited). This place made me a believer. That being said, this was an amazing time! The show was amazing and kept me entertained the entire time. The food was delicious. And the staff was super friendly and engaging. I would definitely go back next time we visit colorado. It was worth every penny. My sides hurt from laughter it was so funny. They are great at engaging with the audience. The theater it self was well set up and the decor was done very well. The whole place was very inviting and welcoming. Thank yall for a great time!!!

The Glenwood Vaudeville Revue is hands-down one of the most entertaining nights out you can have in the Rockies! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, laughter, and a lively atmosphere that sets the stage for a truly unique experience. The show is a perfect mix of comedy, music, clever skits, and old-school vaudeville charm—with a modern twist that keeps the whole audience laughing and engaged. The cast is incredibly talented, not just in performing but also in connecting with the crowd. Every act feels fresh, funny, and full of heart. What makes the experience even more special is the dinner-theater setup. The food and drinks are excellent, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels taken care of. It’s clear that this is more than just a show—it’s a full evening of entertainment where the performers’ passion really shines through. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Glenwood Springs, the Vaudeville Revue is a must-see. It’s family-friendly, hilarious, and unforgettable. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss it—you’ll leave with a smile on your face and probably a few new favorite jokes.

Very highly recommend. Appetizers and drinks are excellent, entrees hit and miss, but we don't go for the food. We go for the show and that is outstanding. The owner and cast are all incredibly nice. They are also your servers/bartenders. Piano player/singer also fantastic (and heck of a resume!). There's something for everyone, kids and adults - lots of humor, song, dance, and skits. We live out of town, but when I need a lift, this is well worth the drive if we can fit it in the schedule. They change the show up (4/year I think?) too so not always the same. True vaudeville.

We brought our 4 kids aged 6-12 Saturday night. We all enjoyed the show! Super funny and unique to anything we've done with our kids.

Doc Holliday's Grave Trailhead

Hiking area
Sights & Landmarks
Doc Holliday's Grave Trailhead is a moderate hiking trail in Glenwood Springs, leading to the gravesite of the infamous gunslinger Doc Holliday in Linwood Cemetery. It's a must-visit attraction, especially after exploring the Doc Holliday Museum. The trail offers an opportunity to delve deeper into the history of this iconic figure while enjoying some physical activity. Located near downtown Glenwood Springs, it's a family-friendly excursion with educational and historical value.
Glad we took the time for this short but beautiful hike. The total distance is roughly .08 miles but keep in mind if you are a lowlander like me and given the grade of about 20% you can choose your level of workout IE; not difficult but not easy. Once you get to the top you will find several cemeteries, and a large US flag earmarking a grave that is more of a suggestion than the actual Doc Holiday gravesite. Rumor has it Doc is planted in the Potters cemetery at the top of the hill, none the less numerous other grave sites including Kid Curry make the hike interesting. Well worth you time to visit and a good workout if you choose to double time up the hill, lots of flowers and a tree with bandanas ties to the branches, not sure why but other reviews will likely point out the reason for the tree. Highly Recommended

If you have any interest in history and the West This hike is a must. There are many graves there and this cemetery is still being used today. There are annual events held up there too educate and familiarize you with the history and the cemetery Check in out it's worth the time
Lawrence K — Google review
OK you might find this in other reviews but here it goes... The sign at the start of the trail listed it at .5 of a mile. Itbseemed shorter than that to me but... it is a constant uphill on the way in but the trail is wide and smooth. We had plenty of shade when we went at 10am in September I can't imagine it's much less shaded in the summer, that being said even on a cooler day we were pretty warm by the time we got to the top and I can't imagine the middle of summer. Take water! The graveyard has signs talking about the cemetery and Doc Holliday as well as Kid Curry. It was well worth the hike to see this part of history. We didn't have any issues with parking but it is right in a residential area and I could imagine peak summer season being more difficult.

Not for the weak (literally) of heart, or the wheezing of lung. But the trail is beautiful, and there is a historical weight and tranquility to the trail. With marvelous breath taking views for the nature enthusiast, excellent nugget of history for wild west fans, and a small respect and admiration for the people who have brought Glenwood to what it was, the trail is a overall valuable additon to the Glenwood Springs Community.
Paige K — Google review
While the hike was moderately strenuous going up (fairly steep trail) it was surrounded by beautiful greenery and a gorgeous overlook of the city/mountains. While the memorial site is rather simple, it was beautifully done and any fan of Doc should make it a destined stop in Glenwood Springs.
Kayla B — Google review
We had just left Dodge City, so of course we were going to stop. The trail is not very far, but it is a little steep. The views from the top are beautiful. It's definitely worth a few minutes to go look around.

Very cool place. The history of the cemetery is really interesting. The trail is easy to navigate. A must see for history buffs and/or old west enthusiasts.

Great experience, I've always wanted to visit and I'm glad did. It is a very historical cemetery with information talking about some of the people who are buried there and kid Curry was buried there too. Amazing views it is a beautiful area!

Diners can enjoy dishes like the French Baked Brie appetizer with house-made orange marmalade, preserved lemon vinaigrette salad, and sourdough crostini. The menu reflects Owen's passion for blending cultural flavors to create unique dining experiences.
The food was great. The receptionist was so nice and helpful. The waitress is very good and looks like she really loves her job. Her smile brightens everyone. She's very friendly to her customers. That night there was a baby who is crying and shouting but other than that it was a nice experience.

Our dinner at the Riviera Supper Club and Scratch Kitchen was a delightful experience. I had the salmon with vegetables, and the flavors were beautifully developed—the seasoning was spot-on, and the cook on the fish was perfect. The portion was quite generous. I also tried their navy bean soup, which was rich and flavorful, though a bit heavy on the bacon. The wait staff were highly attentive, adding to the positive experience. I appreciated the option of filtered or sparkling water as a thoughtful touch. My husband had the prime rib sandwich, which he found tasty, though the prime rib itself was overcooked. While not everything on the menu is scratch-made, the items that are truly shine. The atmosphere, however, could use a refresh, as its character feels a bit underwhelming. A solid choice for quality dishes, with some room for improvement on decor and atmosphere.

Reservations highly recommended! Came here on our only night in Glenwood Springs, saw the reviews about reservations, but still wanted to give it a try. We were lucky and got bar seating immediately. The atmosphere and service was great. We were there on a Wednesday so we had half off wines, making it a great deal (the wines by the glass were very good quality and were poured generously). I had the beef wellington which I thought was good but not great, the meat wasn't as tasty as I would have liked. My wife had the Salmon and said it was phenomenal. Afterwards I had the house special apple pie, which was incredible too! Overall we were very satisfied with our evening. Highly recommended.

CUSTOMERS BE AWARE! I have been a frequent customer since 2015 and this is the first time I did not enjoy my visit. Our waiter, and manager? Was very nice and chatty, and introduced Wine Wednesday, where every bottle is half off. We ordered two bottles, and ordered apps and two 16oz prime ribs that each couple were going to split as it is a big portion. Dinner was fantastic until we got the bill. The couple visiting from Denmark then looked at the bill to find our 40 bottle of wine was changed to an 80$ bottle, when they asked if we'd like water they brought 4 individual bottles at 7$ each AND they charged each person a 2$ upcharge for sharing plates! As my guests were paying, they had the conversation with the server to rectify the wine error. But didn't remove the sir charges which we were not informed of when ordering. Europeans already find tipping odd, since they have different pay structure, but when you get hosed like this, do you really expect to give a tip on top of the scamming? CUSTOMERS BEWARE!

Multiple reviews outside of Google maps suggested that Riviera supper club was the best date night restaurant in Gleenwood springs so seeing as I had a date planned for the evening I decided to make a reservation for that evening. I suppose during peak season it is highly suggested to make a reservation. The process is easy online but l, making them day of made me a bit nervous since they do not open until later in the day to confirm my reservations. For my date Id ordered a floral arrangement and the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate by having the arrangement on the table prior to our arrival. Another reason I picked this restaurant was because reviews suggested they had a great wine selection and although it was not a huge selection the selections we made were good and paired well with our dishes. The mushrooms were a great starter and very flavorful. I went with a lighter dish opting for the salmon with the steamed veggies and salad. It all tasted great but wasnt spectacular. I feel it was envious of my dates order. Her dish definitely looked more appetizing (unpictured) the farmers market pasta with the filet mignon. I had a few bites and it was amazing! Service was great but definitely not fast paced. More laid back but still attentive. Maybe could have had another glass of wine with a bit quicker service, but I drink fast. I appreciate the Restaurant making a first date one to remember and accommodating my floral arrangement. My date loved them and it was the first thing she noticed walking to the table. A great place for a date night or any other occasion while out in Gleenwood.

I prefer to choose healthier options whenever possible, I order the Dummer stew with a variety of beans and vegetables-I taste it and it was very tasty, but m it was drowned in oil-Canola oil of all things!! So the health benefits of the beans and vegetables, was cancelled by the nasty oil! Please, please don’t add nasty oil to something that is perfect without it!!

Sunlight Mountain Resort

Ski resort
Nature & Parks
Sunlight Mountain Resort offers a variety of winter activities including snowmobile tours, cross-country skiing and access to 67 trails. During the summer months, visitors can enjoy hiking and biking. The staff at the resort are known for being very friendly and helpful, particularly those working in the rental area. Children's ski school is also available with instructors who take pride in teaching young ones how to ski. Visitors with little experience are able to learn more about skiing and enjoy it over multiple days.
This ski resort is a Hidden Gem. Not only does it have second steepest Peak in Colorado: THE HEATHEN, it also has a wide variety of intermediate and beginner level runs. The staff is super friendly and they have a lot of trainers for ski school. This is excellent for families with kids because the trainers take groups of three and four kids up the mountain and have them up and skiing in one day. It is amazing to see kids who have never seen before within an hour are heading down the slopes with the instructors. I highly recommend this Ski Resort it is a double A+ those who love to ski and have a variety of courses available to them. This location is great for groups who are at all different levels of skiing skills. They have everything from double black diamonds down to beginner green and blue intermediate runs.

Had the pleasure of working with Desiree for the group rates. The customer service was AMAZING. She was able to meet all of the needs of our group including switching ski days for some of us who became sick, sign some of us up last minute for ski schools, and refund lift tickets and rentals for some of us that got injured. Ski conditions were awesome! No lines for the lifts, rentals were very nice, trails had fluffy fresh powder. This place is a real hidden gem!

I love this place. We come back almost every year. It’s far enough away from the really big resorts that it feels like you get. Local vibe, and usually the mountain is not too crowded. Great spot for beginners or advanced, as the lifts are super easy and the mountain has lots of great trails. Absolutely recommend taking a day or two here!

Great place to ski with a family. Very affordable and close to Glenwood. We had a group of 6 kids and 4 adults and everyone enjoyed the snow. Snack bar had very good food and was cheap!!! I highly recommend the Chicago hot dog. Delicious. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating.

Best run of the season for us, myself with beginner 5 and 13 year old. This place was perfect. Long nice slopes. There weren't many people in the slopes. Beautiful views.

Sunlight is a beautiful gem! Has all the views and great CO snow but isn't crowded. The lifts are definitely a little ancient but our family had a blast at this resort. Everyone is so nice! Has runs for everyone! We stayed at the Gnarly Inn at the bottom which is an experience in itself. About 20 min from Glenwood Springs.
Keri W — Google review
I give this resort 4.5 stars! It would receive 5 stars if the kids in the rental shop were a little better trained. This resort shined in other areas though! First, it's very uncrowded and has some great long runs. The lifts were not the greatest but so many times I would look ahead and behind me on a run and...I was the only one there. The staff was super friendly, from the lift attendants to the lodge cafe workers to Bill in the locker office. The food was great and reasonably priced compared to other resorts. We did not have great snow unfortunately and there were some icy patches but did I mention that I had the mountain to myself many times? I improved so much. We put a 13 year old in ski lessons the first morning and not only were they super reasonable, she graduated to blues by the second day. We visited NYE weekend. The first day we arrived at 8.30 and parked right in front of the entrance. Second day we arrived at almost 10 and had a 1 or 2 minute walk. We used our Indy passes and it was super easy. Just show them at the lift ticket window in exchange for lift tickets. Only once was the beginner lift busy. Again, the lifts could themselves could be better (my boots and skis felt like 500 pound weights without foot rests) but if you want wide open spaces to ski, this is the place!

Far and away the best restaurant in the area. They take care with preparation and presentation. Lots of subtle flavors. Great friendly service. Cute location right next to the river and train station. The deviled eggs were so good.
Nathan B — Google review
This place deserves at least four stars based on the food alone but is being downgraded for two factors. It was so loud that you had to raise your voice to be heard which of course makes it louder yet, to the point where it diminishes your enjoyment of the food. Secondly the sauces were great but too salty by half which also diminishes them. Cocktails were good, gin martini order and delivered dry, Negroni balanced and round. The wine list is spare, only one selection, both glass and bottle, per type but adequate. We had the pinot noir and the zinfandel both adequate. The menu is also spare but there is something for everyone. I had the pork chop. Tender, hint of the grill, very well sauced. Also ordered the Roast Chicken, also moist tender and very flavorful. Skin properly chared, charged, sauced deliciously with caveat. Coffee followed. All said we will go back endure the sound because the food warrants it.

Location was great, but the inside atmosphere wasn’t anything spectacular. Service was friendly and quick. The chips and blue cheese as a starter was a great start; didn’t seem like much, but was very tasty. The 8oz hanger steak was good not great. Tasted mainly of salty char, so the potatoes, mashed potatoes purée, and chimichurri were really doing a lot of leg work to balance out the flavor. And the presentation didn’t look appetizing for either dish. Overall we had a nice time EDIT: to zero stars bc of the business response. We had a nice time and gave an honest review, but response very childish and weird

Absolutely wonderful meal at The Pullman! Our server was so lovely, knowledgeable and friendly. She explained the menu and the inspiration in detail, and you could tell she really believes in the chef and the food, which makes a difference and made for a great experience. The N.A. cocktails were phenomenal to start. Every bit of our food was delicious. We go to a lot of great restaurants, and this little spot in Glenwood Springs keeps pace with some of the best in Denver and plenty of other foodie cities we’ve been to. The wagyu was like butter. The salmon was perfection. Just such an enjoyable meal - and a solid value as well. Would definitely recommend!

I recommend this place. Fantastic meal and service. After we were seated, The wait staff was there immediately. Everyone here is very kind and polite. Steaks are very delicious, sides are baked potato, mashed potatoes or french fries, and veggies. Excellent choice of wine and beer. They also serve seafood here as well and much more stuff on the menu. Very nice atmosphere. Very cool old fashioned bar. Very nice artwork definitely come back again. Most of all fantastic service.

Great spot for lunch! My husband and I had a lovely lunch here. We shared a salad and a chicken sandwich with fries. Food and service were excellent. Peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. In total our lunch bill was $45 (after tax & before tip). We did both get iced teas in addition to food. They have a front patio, back patio, rooftop, and indoor dining. Great space! We would happily dine here again for lunch or dinner.

I recently visited Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food and the warmth of the service. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting—cozy without being cramped, with a comfortable balance between casual and upscale. I ordered the New York steak, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, as requested, with a nice sear on the outside and a juicy, tender center. The seasoning was spot-on—not overpowering, but enough to bring out the natural flavors of the beef. You can tell they use a good quality cut.

Had great experience in this restaurant, everything we had was very good. We had rib eye steak with baked potato, creamy onion soup, and a garden salad. Kids had fish and chips and burgers, they loved it. We were sitting outside and were enjoying beautiful view. Our server was polite and helpful. The only thing that bothered us, is very shaky tables outside. When we moved all the food was moving as well.

This is one of my dad’s favorite places to get a steak. We always order the porterhouse and share it. The manager is incredibly friendly and always makes time to chat with us. He informed us that they source their cows from Colorado, which I believe contributes to the superior taste of their steaks compared to most other steakhouses I’ve visited. Their onion rings are also fantastic.

Oh my gosh, the food here is absolutely amazing! I had the lamb chops, and let me tell you, they were out of this world. I was expecting a more fine dining experience since it's a steakhouse, but it turned out to be pretty casual, which I didn’t mind. For the price—$85 for an appetizer, two sides, and a meal to take home—I'd say it was worth every penny, especially since I left feeling completely stuffed! I should mention I was a bit hungover, so the staff probably gave me some extra space, which I appreciated. I did let them know I wasn’t drinking, haha. One little thing that disappointed me was that I had mentioned it was a special occasion when I made the reservation, but there was no acknowledgment of that when I arrived. I also requested a quiet table, but ended up in a booth next to the service station, probably because I had to push my reservation back a bit. I totally understand that, though! This was the fanciest dinner of my year, so I was just hoping for a bit more ambiance. That said, the staff was super accommodating and even let me step out to grab my card from the hotel, which I really appreciated. I think I must have arrived at a quiet time when everyone was just ready to wind down for the night. Working in the restaurant industry myself, I totally get it. And wow, that steak! When I asked for it extremely rare, they nailed it! warm and well seared but still uncooked, just the way I love it. Not to mention the oysters were to die for- a risk in a landlocked place! Overall, it was a wonderful experience despite the little hiccups. I can’t wait to come back!

Dropped in to get dinner to-go here. One was a NY steak, the other a rib-eye, both medium and both delicious. Bartender even served me up a nice drink while I was waiting -- I told her to surprise me and she made me a refreshing Hugo Spritz. Can't complain and I was in-and-out in no time!

The food was over priced for a mediocre steak that had a weird after tast. The server was ok. There really wasn't many good options and when you got to order there wasn't much to customise.

Doc Holliday's Saloon and Restaurant is a Western-themed tavern in downtown Glenwood Springs, offering a nostalgic experience with its antique bar and pistol sign hanging above the entrance. This old-fashioned establishment serves up burgers, cocktails, and live entertainment. Visitors can also explore the Doc Holliday Collection & Memorial while immersing themselves in local history at the Glenwood Springs Historical Society and Frontier Museum.
Definitely a place you should stop into if you get a chance and want to go to a local tavern. This is the best food I've had in a very long time. The steak was perfectly done the fries were very crisp and the vegetables were steamed to perfection. This was definitely a 10 out of 10 meal. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the place and all of its history.

I’m very mixed about reviewing this place as visually it has everything that I like in a bar that makes it an easy five stars all day long. No music was playing but we got to listen to a baseball game blaring away with adverts and all. We sat at the bar and in my experience that’s usually the best place for attentive service although the place only had a few customers. We ordered beers and food that included nachos and sandwiches. I retrieved our own coasters for our dripping beer jugs , had to ask for side plates, napkins , cutlery etc. Maybe we had the B shift working on this particular Sunday afternoon. Some easy fixes in my opinion and this is an awesome bar but saying that I would always give any place another try.

As an avid traveler that explored many restaurants, I have to give props to the service and hospitality that was shown during my visit! The food prices here are very reasonable and the restaurant is generous with its portion. The burger was simple yet packed full of flavors it makes me want to come back for more! My server Audrey was a pleasant lady that provided a warm and efficient service from sitting me down to getting the bill! Do bring your wallet as the restaurant doesn’t accept Apple Pay yet but Audrey was very helpful in resolving the situation. Highly recommend anyone visiting Glenwood Springs to experience this bar, you will not regret it!

Probably the best waitresses I have seen in 15 years. She had 30 people by her self when I showed up. Tending bar and taking orders. Never waited on anything, food was out fast AND IT WAS GOOD. Very fair prices. I will be back when I am in town. To the owner, Andrea is a rock star.

This place has my heart. I'm a huge fan of Doc Holiday and this place is like a small shrine to him. The feel is old west museum meets a kickass bar. Had a whiskey toast to Doc and ate the buffalo burger 🍔. The ladies and Charlene were great busting their butts serving this delicious old west cuisine. Bought a shirt to commemorate this glorious visit.

Nestled in a charming setting, Co. Ranch House is a stylish eatery that beautifully marries Western-inspired decor with modern interpretations of classic American cuisine. The menu boasts an array of dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients, such as succulent beef and fresh Rocky Mountain Trout, complemented by sustainable salmon options. Guests can savor delightful offerings like Fried Chips with House Made Ranch and Duck Wings while enjoying the serene ambiance on the patio.
We are staying in Glenwood Springs for the night and visited Co Ranch House for dinner. Table for 2, we got right in, and we chose to sit outside. They were apologetic about our wait time for the server Matt to take our order, which we didn't really even realize, so I don't think it was that long at all 😊. We had the duck wings and cobb salad, which were both good. We had the steak (specia)l with crab meat topping, delicious. A side order of the mushroom and onion and for dessert, cheesecake, both delicious. Matt and the other staff were very attentive. Overall, the food was delicious, and the staff was amazing. Definitely recommend.

A must go to place in Glenwood. From the greeter, Kenny, to our waiter, Matt, very friendly and customer focused staff. Had the smoked trout appetizer, and I don’t like trout. It was amazing! Hubby had the Elk burger and loved it! I had the salad with smoked chicken. Delicious!!! Highly recommend. Loved the patio and Matt even lit the fire pit for me as it was getting chilly. Will come back!

This was the second time we, my wife and a friend, ate there. We were in town visiting friends. First time was a year ago. I guess that pretty much says it! We had a good memory from the first visit so we went back. I had the filet which was cooked perfectly. My wife and friend both had the trout. All was delicious. The cocktails and bourbon selection are great and extensive. I would have given 5 stars for service but the server forgot I told her it was my wife’s birthday and was hoping for a candle on the bourbon pecan pie. Didn’t happen. Overall, the place has a cool atmosphere and a great menu.

Loved this spot! The Ranch House in Glenwood Springs has that true western-town charm friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and great food. My steak and trout combo was on point fresh, perfectly cooked, with mashed potatoes and asparagus that hit the spot. Such a nice stop in this cute mountain town

This was a great surprise in Glenwood. Matt was a fantastic server, excellent recommendations and knowledgeable about the food and whiskey! We enjoyed everything, the space outside, the pulled chicken Cesar, the salmon niçoise was fabulous!

Food and drink were classy and our waitress was perfectly attentive. The hoster was very straight forward and while he had a sling for his left arm, he was very nice and helpful. Still need to get that rifle pen from him, darn it. No Jäger here, but give the Old Elk a try for a shot. They serve drinks, including water, at a refreshingly cold temp. I'd suggest that it would be nice if they could serve the lobster ravioli in a red sauce. The Angel Half and Half was nice, but I love when my pasta is more zesty and acidic. Oh and Rooster Comb is the style of pasta, not an actual Rooster's comb.

Amazing experience!!! From Ken’s friendly greeting to Joel’s amazing service, our night and daughter’s birthday was outstanding! The restaurant has a warm ambience with some unique menu items, topped with the charm you’d expect from rural Colorado. P.S. Order the apple pie! You won’t regret it. 😋

Slope & Hatch is a laid-back counter-serve eatery located near the Roaring Fork River, popular among families and outdoor enthusiasts seeking post-adventure meals. The menu offers a variety of tacos featuring global flavors, from fried fish with pico de gallo to unexpected Asian twists. Additionally, the spot serves locally sourced hot dogs like the Glenwood Completo with avocado and ancho remoulade. Guests can pair their meals with Colorado beers and margaritas.
These tacos are quite large, about the size of your palm, and absolutely delicious! We ordered takeout and it was ready quickly. The asada was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the generous portion size made for a very satisfying meal. Even though the restaurant was packed with people, the staff were incredibly efficient, churning out orders with skill, which was impressive. You can easily get here by just crossing a small bridge from the Glenwood Springs hot springs. Grabbing your tacos to go and enjoying them at a nearby pub's outdoor seating is also a great option. Highly recommend!

On our monthly date night we decided to give Slope and Hatch. The food is good, although the brisket was a little dry. The menu is very diverse. The dining space is super small and not really accommodating to large groups. This place is definitely a dine and run kind of place. There’s not enough space to really linger and hang out. This is more of a place you order takeout from. Maybe we will try that next time.

Great lunch spot off the interstate. Tasty tacos and hot dogs served with chips and fries. Grilled cantina fish was particularly good. Can be hard to find parking and seating as the place is crazy busy, but service is great and dishes are simple so tables open up quick

YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! EAT HERE! We were driving through the Glenwood Springs area, and stopped for dinner. Found the typical pub restaurants and stumbled upon this gem. Great customer service, friendly staff and DELICIOUS FOOD. I had the grilled fish tacos, husband had the lamb curry tacos. We split the Cajun fries - and had way too much food, but dang was all of it delicious!! Will 1000% come back if we are ever in the area again. Honestly we were trying to convince people on the sidewalk to eat here, it was that great. Only con, inside dining is small. But who cares, ya know.

One of the Fly-Fishing guides recommended this eatery. At first glance, it is a storefront next to a parking lot, and has some outdoor seating. The food was surprisingly good, not overly seasoned but well prepared. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the plates were ample (two people could easily share them). The tacos were great, and the other meals (and hot sauce) were awesome. We were there for a quick lunch before heading home, and it was a great recommendation!

For a quick lunch this is a great location. Walking in every table was full but as I ordered I was assured it would clear up quickly. This is a quick turn around spot. Order, sit, eat, and leave. Not a place to chill. Atmosphere gets 4 stars for that. Nothing against the establishment just not my style of dinning, I want to chill a bit. Besides that. The tacos!!! Im Texan and I'll judge a taco and I judge these shrimp tacos as 5 stars!! Shrimp were big and fat and fresh. The Pico just as fresh! The hot sauce!! Hot! Good selection of beers including some local brews which we like to see. 2 tacos are plenty of food, these are not baby street tacos they are loaded! I do wish I could have mix and matched so I could have tried a few things but unfortunately they only sold as a pair.. womp womp. But again, damn good tacos! Quick service, in and out dinning!

We were passing by and needed a good barbeque dish. This place hit the spot. It was delicious! We were very happy with our selections. We got the queso dip, margarita, smoked barbeque wings, and three meat plate combo (brisket, pulled pork, sausage). Our sides were mac n cheese and loaded potato. However, we ended up taking some food home. Everything was super good. The servers were great! Definitely will be stopping by again.

There, BBQ here is spot on. I eat here twice. 1st time was better than the second. When dealing with brisket, that can be expected. The beans are some of the best I have ever had. It's kind of an east Texas flavor. Service seemed short-handed. & they could really improve the atmosphere. But the food makes up for it.

Food was awesome! First time got Texas dip sandwich which was fantastic! 2nd got three meat. Brisket and chicken were perfect. Ribs were a lil dry but the sauce made up for it! Max n chose and sweet potato fries were divine! Service was good 2nd night but first the girl totally forgot about us.
Cami C — Google review
Food was pretty freaking tasty. Our server recommended a unique appetizer that was not on the printed menus. It was pork belly with watermelon and peaches and cucumber. It was all smoked and marinated and served in a bowl and it was extremely delicious. The brisket was soft and tender. It could have used more flavor and seasonings, it seems very neutral and not enough flavor for sure but their bbq sauce for dipping was available. 💁 So I didn't complain. The bar tender made great drinks. We got an old fashioned for our first drink. It was made properly with the big ice square and properly muddled with the proper cherry type. The second drink we got was their menu featured Manhattan. It was absolutely delicious. Well made and gave us that kick we were needing. Our server could have been more outgoing and more friendly. But we didn't let that bother us. Overall, the experience was good and the vibe of the restaurant was nice and the food was pretty tasty. We'll come back when we come by Glenwood Springs again. Thank you.

Great little Asian place. Food was amazing!! I had pho , it was flavorful and rich. We ordered large miso soup , portion was huge and soup was outstanding! Kids had sushi and sesame chicken , both were spot on. My husband had beef pad Thai , it was very good. Service was great as well. The only thing that I didn’t like is that it was a little pricey. For pho we spent $24 , that’s a lot. Other than that everything was great. This place is must if you want to eat delicious food!

There are things that should be marked irrelevantly to personal opinion. The lack of sanitary. That's why I am writing. We had a wonderful trip to Glenwood Springs and wanted to end it with a wonderful visit to this cafe. Obviously there is not much competition for them at the town. It shows. We got water with stinky ice in the beginning ( this means the filters and the freezer are not being cleaned), then we got a fork with the piece of dry food bejeweled deep between fork tines. We wanted to take a picture, but it was too disgusting to keep in the phone. Waiter replaced that with no excuses, of course we started to examine all other forks and knives and plates. On top to that, they forgot to bring my husband his set, just brought his soup and we had to remind about the roll set when the kids and me already finished our food. Another thing that crunchy roll tasted like they were topped with bread crumbs, it was not the caramelized stuff for sure. They had no rolls with smoked salmon. However upon my request they put smoked salmon on the top of the roll I ordered. Thats why I put 2 stars instead of 1.

If you're looking for an Asian review here it is 🤣🤣 I’m upset that I didn’t see Ming’s on Google when I searched originally I probably would’ve went here every night we were here 😅 Service was 10/10 and our waiter was very nice. Food came out in a timely manner. Hot n Sour soup was very good and temp was hot. We got the sizzling beef and scallops and the peppered beef udon and both came out so good very flavorful and full of meat and variety of veggies!! We also got a sushi roll which was delicious too. I’m salivating writing this the following day. We highly recommend Mings! Definitely better than across the street by a landslide

DON’T be fooled by Lyft/Uber! They’ll quote one rate on the tarmac, which will triple by the time you get to the curb. I locked in a fare at the gate, only to have it cancel and then quoted 3X. Ended up taking Epic Mountain Express to my destination for $32 vs >$100 for Uber

Directions / driving to airport very easy. Parking easy peasy and reasonable. Easy access to walk over to airport terminal. Security didn't open until 6:30. I thought odd with all the early flights? Maybe it was off season hours. I didn't utilize food or coffee but saw was available.

Very nice and clean. Security is efficient and smooth. This is a very small “regional” airport so not a lot of things to do while waiting, but the views are pretty spectacular so it was easy to pass the time.

This is a good, small, and efficient airport not far from the Vail ski resort. The airport seemed clean, the TSA process was quick, and my flight was on time. There’s also plenty of transportation options to Vail and the other local ski resorts. There’s nothing more you could ask for. I’d definitely recommend flying into Eagle County Regional Airport.

A new and beautiful terminal but with very limited eating options during delayed flights. One bar/restaurant near terminal 2 and a prepackaged food and snack store near terminal 3. It is a bit of the roll of the dice at times getting to land and take off as weather can be problematic in this tight valley. Comfortable seating and a great vista make waiting not so bad. Great bus and shuttle service are available and easy to find to the west corner of the terminal just beyond baggage claims.

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport

Airport
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is the gateway to this snowy, backcountry beauty and glamorous destination. It offers nonstop commercial flights from various cities and numerous connecting flights, making it easily accessible. Additionally, there are charter and private jet options available for those seeking a more exclusive travel experience. Whether you're here for skiing or a family vacation in the Rocky Mountains, Aspen has become more budget-friendly with affordable accommodation options.
I love this airport. It’s one of the best to fly out of because it’s so small. The parking lot is right next to the terminals. There is almost never a wait to get through security. The planes are smaller and regional so they create less noise pollution. The views when walking on to the plane and flying out of the airport are spectacular. You can also very easily coordinate a driver to pick you up from the airport. Baggage claims are easy to navigate. Very well organized location. That said, be sure to check your flight status in inclement weather, as many flights are either cancelled, rerouted, or delayed during periods of heavy snowfall. This is a very difficult airport for planes to fly in and out of.
Stephanie B — Google review
Flying into this airport is very fun. And the views are amazing. It’s a smaller airport with rental car options and a little shop. I do wish there were more seating for when you’re flying out. Also little shoutout to the SkyWest Captain for one of the smoothest landings ever!
Jerryn — Google review
The airport is situated in a wind tunnel with one runway. The pilots are forced to reduce weight to takeoff almost every afternoon. We listened to four other flights be delayed while they wait for people to volunteer to get off. The same happened with our flight. We volunteered to get off since we were already delayed past our connecting flight departure. The airport is hot. There is limited seating (especially when flights start getting delayed). There is one food option and it’s overpriced. It’s frustrating that flights are required to depart at 70% capacity most days and the airlines still fully booked them. On top of all of that, it’s an expensive airport to use in the first place. If staying in aspen, it’s cost effective and easier to rent a car and drive to Denver. If not, book the earliest flight out of aspen available.
Thomas B — Google review
JUST DRIVE. IT WILL BE FASTER AND FAR LESS FRUSTRATING. This airport clearly has some sort of conspiracy going on that apparently all the drivers and locals are fully aware of as we've been warned as soon as we drove in (we decided to take a flight back out to Denver which was a HUGE mistake. Should have just driven). They wait till you check in and go through security to suddenly last minute delay your flight claiming high winds are preventing take offs or landings, even while right outside you can physically see planes taking off and landing!!! We were not the only ones. Every single plane here was delayed no matter where it was going. The airport is small, cramped, and charges $17 for a small bag of chips, relying on the fact that all the people stuck in this small cramped space for hours on end will eventually need to buy food. If we had just rented a car and driven from our hotel, we would've been in Denver long before our plane even took off. And it's one excuse after another for each new delay. At one point, they delayed us an additional hour (on top of an existing four hour delay) claiming that Denver was full of thunderstorms and isn't taking off or landing. Upon checking the weather, it was partly cloudy with SOME wind (not even high wind). And even if Denver had an hour of not accepting flights, it would have still taken over an hour to board and actually fly out there, so it made no sense that they still delayed boarding and take off here! Seriously, just drive. Stay away from this airport as nothing about it is reliable and they do everything possible to make you as uncomfortable as possible. The staff is nice, but that honestly does little to make up for such major delays and excuses.

My brother and I booked separately and wanted to ask if we can possibly sit together on the plane. There were a couple of people in line to talk to the TSA agent in front of us, who were serviced very quickly. When it was our turn though the two ladies wearing glasses started talking long to each other and acting like they did not see us. Once we left another woman went up and was serviced just like the others quickly. I have not dealt with racism, but when I ask in line about us sitting together the lady mentioned I should have asked before, when she herself had ignored me with the other agent. Never again!

We flew in to Aspen for the first time ever in Thursday from Houston. Loved the quaint airport and friendly people. This was not a leisure trip but to help get someone moved into an apartment from Carbondale to Basalt. We have been here to return to Houston today since 12:30. Our departure time keeps getting pushed up. The person moving really could have used our help rather than us sitting here for what looks like over 5+ hours. During the summer, booking us overnight could help boost a less booming economy in the area than experienced in the winter and we have really been victims of the situation. There is always room for improvements. One needs to be made here. Have some respect for your customers. . . -A very frustrated United Airlines customer!

Very beautiful! ~ space is so limited. You are on top of each other waiting to board at gate. Also not sure if this is just United or ASE airport… - but 20+ of us were told to gate check carry-on bags as we tried to get on the plane. - Sent back down the jet bridge/ramp to luggage collecting station… - only to be told the baggage handlers cannot give us the green gate check luggage tags… - Sent back up ramp with bags again to get our tag from stewardess. Thankfully we got to leave luggage with her at that pass. She just piled a bunch of bags toward cockpit. Very back and forth for 20+ passengers. Just a little crazy.

Compact airport ever seen in my life. There are many colourful flowers in summer and a monument of gondola outside the airport. You can take a taxi as soon as get out the airport from the departure door and it was very convenient. Including gratuities we paid $60 to snowmass but turned out there are FREE public bus.On our way back home, the flight was delayed by storm and it seems that it's very easy to be affected by the weather as it's surrounded by mountains.
