Bodies of Water
Swim Bay, situated near the visitor center, is a family-friendly beach with various amenities. It features wheelchair accessible beach access, a zipline, rope swing, wharf, and diving board. What sets Swim Bay apart is the presence of lifeguards during the summer months. Visitors can enjoy activities like ziplining and swinging into the water while being supervised by lifeguards. The beach also offers a concession stand for quick meals and treats.
Swim Bay in Peachland is a fantastic spot for families! While it’s more rocky than sandy, the water is clean, clear, and perfect for swimming. The free diving board and zip line into the lake kept the kids entertained for hours while we relaxed and soaked up the sun. There’s a great mix of sun and shade, clean washrooms close by, and even a nearby vendor serving up hotdogs and fries when the kids get hungry. A perfect summer hangout spot right on the lake!

Great, beautiful beach for a stroll or a run! You can also bike here but there doesn't seem any bike rentals. Note to drivers: the parking spots beside the beach are for those with trailers only. There are some spots by the washroom if you don't have your trailer!
Jehezkiel E — Google review
Zipline into the lake, high diving board, lots of green grass to sit on. Loved it!
Julia C — Google review
Visited this place on our drive from Vernon back to Vancouver. It was a warm sunny Monday afternoon and the beach had it's fair share of people going for a swim or just relaxing and enjoying the view. There were lots of parking spaces. Would be nice to go and spend the whole day and setup early in the morning, which we plan to do next summer. The water was cool and the place had a wonderful view. Nice and relaxing to sit under the tree. Towards the center of town, the beach has a diving platform, a cordoned off area for swimmers and a lifeguard on duty.
Mel L — Google review
Fun and unique beach with diving board, rope wing, and lifeguards on duty during the day! I visited this beach on a long weekend and had lots of fun on Okanagan Lake and using thier diving board which is free to use. There is a roped of swimming area that is supervised by multiple lifeguards and protected from boats and SUPs, so great for kids. The only drawback is that parking is either road side or a little ways away near the boat launch, and the beach is actually quite small. The beach is not dog friendly but there are many other micro beaches along the shore to set up on. Felt a bit self conscious getting ourselves and the SUP ready on the street with tourists walking past us but it's the way things are set up I guess!
Flora — Google review
The only reason I give this a 4 star is because you can’t give 4.5 - all the amenities are great and the lake is lovely. The rocky beach sucks but you get over it quick!
Lucas L — Google review
We love the water and the safety for the children swimming within a controlled area but most of all we had an amazing dinner at the swim Bay concession. I can't remember the lovely lady's name who was doing all the cooking but it was amazing and I would go back there anytime. I travel to the UK all the time and the fish and chips was as good eat as any I've had there.
Michele H — Google review
We love his beach! The only reason it isnt a five star is because the rocky beach is a little steeper than normal and it's pretty short. But the docks, diving board, rope swing and beautiful water totally make up for it. Peachland is also so nice and relaxing :)

We arrived here hoping to shop the gift shop but there is no longer one there - a little disappointed. There was an interesting art display and a beautiful view of the lake. Most interesting was the live feed of the bats in the attic. The building is situated beside the Cousin’s baseball park that has an interesting history to it, which is explained on the placards outside.

A spot that showcases artists and their work. Picked up some souvenirs and also a place to check out the history of the building and the bats that live upstairs
Penny S — Google review
A vibrant community Arts centre with both a gallery and an arts works shop. Placards provide a history of this treasure of a building, and a fascinating section explains all about the seasonal native bats who live in the belfry i.e. attic. On Valentine's Day activities include inviting visitors to create paintings (pictured).

This is a lovely place to come check out local artist's work. It is shared space with the Peachland Information Center. The building also houses bats in the attic. They have lie cameras to see them. The area around the gallery is lovely and you can walk along the lake. Definitely a must stop.

History Museums
The Peachland Museum is a small yet fascinating place that offers a deep dive into the history of Peachland. Housed in a historic building constructed in 1910, it was originally a Baptist Church and now showcases hundreds of artifacts, photographs, and exhibits. One of its highlights is the working model of the Kettle Valley Railway, along with a miniature of historic Beach Avenue. Visitors can also explore interactive sections and historical items from various periods, including wartime memorabilia.
Stumbled across this gem of a museum close to the beautiful waterfront area! The upstairs area was a whole miniature train setup of the entire Okanagan area and you get to walk through the different towns in a very interactive way with buttons and storytelling. Not to mention the attraction was by donation so is great for families! The bottom floor had other cool things on display like old BC license plates. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area or passing by!

A very interesting museum full of antiques and pictures from Peachland dating back to approximately 1910,the gentleman who was there was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the museum and Peachland. If you love antiques and heritage it's definitely a MUST VISIT!! Please leave a donation nere the front door it helps to keep the museum open! Thank you 🙏👍😊

They also have speaker buttons that will give you historical information pieces , the train setup has artifacts of neighbouring cities and towns , the staff are friendly, a nice little guest book they leave at the entrance way, great little piece of history to have ! - by donation and highly recommended!

A Must-Do in Kelowna! Fantastic Guide & Breathtaking Views Five stars for Al and his Okanagan ATV tour! Al, the owner and our guide, was fantastic—friendly, professional, and so caring with our group. He took us on an incredible ride up the mountain to a stunning overlook of Okanagan Lake. The scenery is gorgeous! The experience was wonderful from start to finish. We were a family group that included our 80-year-old grandma, and Al made sure she had a safe and amazing time. It’s a memory we will all cherish. Don’t miss this tour when you’re in Kelowna. Thanks for a great day, Al!

Hiking area
Pincushion Mountain Hiking Trail in Peachland, British Columbia is a local favorite, offering a moderate hike that takes around 40 minutes to ascend. Proper footwear is essential due to some steep sections along the route. The trail provides stunning views, opportunities for wildlife sightings, and moments of tranquility at rest stops. The hike features a steep climb with occasional slippery descents and reaches an elevation of about 30 degrees at certain points.
Steep and challenging which made the view at the top that much more rewarding. Took about 2.5 hours in total because of the steepness despite only being 4km Free parking, bring water & bring a hiking stick
Sam S — Google review
Its a moderate hike but the view at end is really worth it. Take around 2.5 hours for a beginner. Make sure to take lots of water in summer. Trail is not properly marked but easy to figure out
Bhavdeep K — Google review
Even though the trail is relatively short, it gives you amazing views of the valley at the top, I could imagine this place gets super hot during summer time, better go in Spring or Falk. If you're into birding, the trail gives you plenty of observation opportunities.
Francois-Xavier D — Google review
Short and steep hike. A few rock scrambling sections. Worth it for a great view of the lake and Peachland from the flagpole bluff.
Adam B — Google review
Easy to moderate intensity going up, coming down is more of a fast paced stroll/jog! Proper shoes required for grip. Expect about an hour total time. The view is teased constantly as you ascend. The trail starts on the right corner of the parking lot
Michael B — Google review
This hike is considered "moderate", was pretty challenging and very rocky. Lot of loose rock, some scrambling. Definitely recommend hiking boots and poles would be helpful. Great workout, pretty scenery and spectacular views. Loved the Canada flag at the pinnacle, nice touch. Enjoyed the hike, but definitely not easy!
Wendy G — Google review
Awesome trail to the top of this mountain. Not too long, I think it took us about 40 minutes one way at a very leisurely pace, often stopping to enjoy the spectacular views. Can see a long ways from the lookouts on this hike. Can follow the hike with a swim and ice cream down in 🍑land Marvelous!. definitely recommend
Matt F — Google review
Want to take a break from wine tours and the lake. This hike is a fantastic option. Great views and scenery the entire hike. The real bonus is when you reach to the peak and see the views for miles. Start early in the day as it can get hot and not a lot of shade for the hike. Bring water for yourself and your dog as there are no streams to drink from.

Bakery
Bliss Bakery and Bistro in Peachland is a beloved local spot known for its commitment to using high-quality ingredients in crafting a delectable array of drinks, pastries, cookies, sandwiches, and more. The bakery also caters to vegan and gluten-free dietary preferences. Situated by the water across from the new pier, it offers a great setting for relaxation and people-watching.
Asked the batista for a bakery recommendation and she asked "savory or sweet?". I was craving something sweet and so she said the apple pie scone was like a mix between a cinnamon bun (but not as sweet) and a carrot cake. That sounded great to me so I tried it and wow...it was incredible and one of the best (sweet) scones I've had in a while. Really like the crunch of the outer crust and the icing drizzled on top gave it that hit of suagry sweetness. The inside had a nice cinnamon flavor with plenty of apples mixed in. Even though it was a scone it was sort of in the shape of a muffin which I just found interesting. I also got a large latte which was nice and strong and the service was super friendly and she obviously knew her stuff with the baked goods. Add the lovely view on a quiet, early Saturday winter morning and it was a perfect visit.
Marcus M — Google review
best sausage roll I've ever had! we came here every morning on our trip to peachland. the coffee was fantastic (iced caramel macchiato and Frozen blended maple coffee) and the breakfast sandwiches were delicious and unique (I had a brie and bourbon bacon sandwich and en everything croissant and my fiance had a dill breakfast sandwich.) there was a large selection of food options, including baked goods, sweet and savory options and housemade breakfast sandwiches. the view from the patio is fantastic, looking right out over the lake. the service was quick, effective and friendly.
Renee S — Google review
Came for coffee in the morning, the staff were super nice and friendly. The outdoor seating was nicely set up and we found a table very quickly. Drinks were priced like every cafe, a little expensive for drinks but the price still seemed to be the norm. They tasted good and even though I didn’t get any baked goods they all looked super delicious and I saw other people enjoying theirs. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cafe
Hellene K — Google review
We stopped in for a cappuccino and 80% of the cup was all foam (so essentially espresso with a sip of milk). We complained and the barista told us that it's SUPPOSED to be a cup full of foam... um, I don't think so! She steamed a tiny bit more milk and we sipped the foam off - less than half the cup had actual liquid. Slightly better but still not good service. $5 for a cup of foam is a rip off, I guess that's how this business makes it's profits!
Annie C — Google review
Just a short walk from our campground, this is the perfect place for a coffee or a delicious treat. Yes there is a lineup but 1) there’s a good reason for that line, everything we’ve tried here has been delicious, and 2) the line moves quickly so don’t worry about it
Glen W — Google review
Great little bakery with great food! Pricy but with it for a treat. Recommend the sausage rolls as they are the best I’ve ever had. Sandwiches and wraps are good and cookies are delicious. 5 stars all the way here…. 6 if I had the option!
Capt C — Google review
Great cafe with tasty coffee and decent pastry and sandwiches menu. They used to make raspberry roulade that was all time our favorite desert for years. For some reason they stopped making it few years ago, so 4 stars for us now since there’s nothing else super special remains. Atmosphere and service, as well as location is truly awesome though.
Stas V — Google review
We stopped by at bliss bakery last week, as we were staying at Peachland for few days. It was very busy. We grabbed 2 pre-made cold chicken sandwiches and 2 sweets, and a Cappuccino. I was a bit surprised when it came to just under $50 for that. The sandwiches were good and the sweets were OK. Overall, is good place, if you are OK to overpay for your food. We did not go back there again, during our stay.

If you're in Peachland, make sure to stop by Ships-A-Hoy Fish & Chips, a charming family-run eatery that specializes in delicious fish and chips. This delightful spot prides itself on its homemade batter and tartar sauce, along with hand-cut fries that are perfectly salted. They cater to various dietary needs with their gluten-free options prepared in a dedicated fryer. Beyond the classic offerings, you might be lucky enough to enjoy some fresh muffins or cabbage rolls depending on the day!
I travelled all over the world. I’ve had a lot of fish and chips in many different places. I would say this is definitely in my top 10. The best fish and chips on the Okanagan Lake hands down. I had three pieces of Cod, opted out of the fries, because I just wanted fish. Thin batter, which doesn’t over power the fish ratio. Crispy, perfectly cooked fish.
Westwood D — Google review
Really great fish and chips! Absolutely the best gluten free fish and chips I've had outside of England. Nice size portions, and everything is really yummy. Try the mushy peas with your fish for an authentic English meal 😄.
Jamie E — Google review
My family and I decided to stop at the park across the street for a break in our travels. I really love fish and chips so I was excited to see what Ships-Ahoy had to offer. We got two orders of the fish and chips (cod) and some chicken tenders and fries. The young man working the counter was friendly as was the girl who gave me my order. The batter was crispy and the portions were a very good size. While three of the pieces were very good, one was quite dry and struck me as being a bit overcooked. Will definitely try again, but next time I will have the halibut.
Michael W — Google review
Stopped by Ships-A-Hoy Fish and Chips for a quick lakeside meal while visiting from Alberta, and it hit the spot! It’s a take-out style fish joint right on the lake, which makes it perfect for grabbing your food and enjoying it by the water. The fish portions were generous, with a great cod-to-batter ratio — lots of fish in every bite! The batter itself was a bit on the mild side and could’ve used a bit more seasoning for our taste, but still nice and crispy. The poutine on the side was a winner — cheesy, saucy, and well-balanced. Great little stop for a casual meal with a view!
Davin G — Google review
On a hot September afternoon, it was an ice cream cone I was after. Waffle cone. Chocolate caramel ice cream. They had a lot to choose from. One day I'll go back for the fish n chips.
Diana R — Google review
Great little place for takeout. Owner is very friendly and efficient. Prices have skyrocketed for fish, but I keep going back when I’m in the area. A good selection of ice cream. Wish they still sold cabbage rolls and other homemade frozen meals to go, but that stopped awhile ago due to bureaucratic red tape unfortunately.

Ordered Halibut with sweet potato fries. Food came out quickly and was extremely tasty. Will definitely return.

This is a cute little fish and chips place. Hand cut fries, perfectly cooked fish and crispy batter. All of the staff were friendly and prices are good considering it was halibut and shrimp I ordered. I’ve been here twice now and it is consistent. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in town and want to have some great fried food.

The Blind Angler Grill is a charming restaurant located in Peachland, BC, offering stunning views of Okanagan Lake. Whether you choose to dine indoors with picturesque window views or on the outdoor patio overlooking the water and marina boats, the setting is delightful. The menu features delicious German cuisine and tasty cocktails. It's a perfect spot to relax and appreciate the beautiful district of Peachland while enjoying a meal with scenic lake views.
Since under new management- Spring 2024-Super friendly service by all staff. This is where they know your name if you come by enough. Best Ghost pepper wings I’ve had at a restaurant! Juicy and crispy tossed in ghost pepper sauce. Subtle and spicy. During happy hour, everyday from 2-5pm, they offer snacks to go with your beer and wine for $1/oz. You decide how much. You have to try the chippers- seasoned chips and addictive. Their house wine is from Dirty Laundry Winery in Summerland. Local Okanagan wine and delicious. It’s Our favourite place in Peachland when we want a beautiful view of the lake and a relaxing and friendly atmosphere to hang out with friends. Great patio overlooking marina.Their braised short ribs is also to die for. My favorite dishes: Gyoza, Caesar salad, tacos, prawn salad, braised short ribs.

Little place tucked away just off the highway. Great atmosphere overlooking the water with the marina right there. Our server Kat was so courteous and helpful and the food was fantastic and filling. The spicy version of the Calamari was really tasty and the Chipotle Dip was my favourite! Gotta come back and try that with the Yam Fries.

First time here from Kelowna and we loved it! The vibe was great, and I loved the interior! Our server, Kat, was the nicest of the people around and made the experience pleasant, though others were a bit stressed with the crowd who showed up on a beautiful Sunday afternoon! I wanted a test of two beers and they generously brought lots for us to try and their lager was great! We ordered a Hawaiian chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, chicken quesadillas and fish and chips, all fabulous! Those of us who ordered fish and chips were the most happy, lol They were accommodating with my toddler and brought her a booster chair as well as a kids' menu. Overall, one of our best experiences in the Okanagan, which is why I LOVE Peachland so much!

Hidden Gem on the Water! The Blind Angler Grill absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and seated with an unbeatable lakeside view. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant—perfect for a relaxing evening or a special occasion. The food was the real star of the show. We ordered the pan-seared halibut and the maple-glazed salmon, and both were cooked to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Their signature cocktails were also a hit, and the dessert (do not skip the crème brûlée!) was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, offering great recommendations and making sure everything was just right. You can tell the staff takes real pride in their work. If you’re looking for an incredible dining experience by the lake, The Blind Angler Grill is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

Went with friends yesterday for a happy hour. We were greeted at the front door by Sarah who looked after us for time there. She was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best servers I have ever encountered. She was so funny, friendly, accommodating just an absolute gem. We are leaving town on Wednesday and asked if she was working on Tuesday as we would have made a special trip back to dine there solely because of her. Unfortunately she is not working that day so will have to wait till the spring to dine there again. We had the mussels as an appetizer oh my goodness they were out of this world yummy!!!!!! Great beer and wine as well. The patio and restaurant atmosphere is so fantastic but honestly what made it the best was Sarah.

Nestled along the picturesque Beach Avenue in Peachland, Cibo & Vines is a delightful culinary gem that specializes in Italian cuisine. This charming eatery prides itself on using only the freshest ingredients to craft an array of beloved dishes, including gourmet pizzas, pastas, and salads. One standout item is their unique Rattlesnake Stromboli, inspired by the nearby Rattlesnake Island.
We were a group of 7, and had a fabulous experience here. The service was top notch! We all had pasta dishes, and 2 appetizers to share between us. We all left very full and felt like we were taken care of. This was my family’s first time here but my parents have dined here before. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place!

Ordered the Bbq Chicken Pizza, Calamari, and Caesar Salad for take out. They need a better system for take out orders as we (along with a line of other customers) had to wait forever to try and flag someone down to grab our order). Food was pretty good but service needs work.

Update: Since my first review we have been spoiling ourselves a few times. July 1st long weekend, we had family visiting from out of town. Again, we enjoyed the flavourful, delicious food. Thank you Sara and owner Cherie, much appreciated for the attention. The best Tiramisu Torte served. See you soon. Voglia di autentico cibo italiano. We craved authentic Italian food, especially pizza. We decided to drive to Peachland and explore Cibo & Vines Ristorante. Lovely Monica was our friendly attentive server. We started out with a Happy Cocktail, followed by Calamari and then the Cibo Pizza. Mamma Mia! Wow, the best Pizza we devoured in many years. If you desire a fresh artisanal Italian meal, look no further. Flavourful, high quality, balanced with savoury ingredients, this pizza will heighten your imagination of what it is like visiting Italy. The Calamari was equally boasting with freshness, flavour scrumptious ingredients. Thank you Monica for your excellent service. Bravo!

I’m not usually an Italian food fan, but Cibo & Vines totally won me over. Our waitress recommended the seafood baked cannelloni and it was absolutely scrumptious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We started with the fennel mussels as an appetizer, which were super fresh and full of flavor. A glass of local wine paired beautifully with everything. The patio was perfect for people watching, and the kids’ meals were a hit too. Service was excellent! If I had one recommendation, it would be to stay open later in the summer and maybe offer some live music. There aren’t many options in Peachland for enjoying a patio late into those warm evenings without heading out of town—this would be the perfect spot for it!

Sat on the patio and enjoyed the view on a sunny afternoon. It was late lunch but we were so full we skipped dinner later. We had the pesto shrimp pizza, BBQ ribs and salads. Drink selection of BC wines, cider and beer was also good. Good value, great location and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

My sister and I were in Peachland and went here for lunch. All the staff except Brooklyn and Tiguan had left due to the Munro Lake fire. They were absolutely outstanding. Tiguan made our food and Brooklyn was our server. The food was delicious and Brooklyn was super friendly and entertaining. It must have been a stressful situation having to manage everything themselves but they totally rose to the occasion. I will definitely be back. Most enjoyable afternoon I've had in a while.

I am Cibos biggest fan & promoter. I think of the owner as a friend & she is a real pro restraunteur. Great staff & I always feel comfortable & welcome. My complaint...to rigid on the closing time. Says open till 8PM...they stop all kitchen orders at 7:30. I was there at 7:25 & asked to place an order for some fries. My order was refused....sorry it's ( the fryer ? ) shut down. Not impressed with tonights service...but I will continue to promote Cibo & Vine as a dining destinstion & a great reason to visit Peachland, have a great meal, & enjoy the vibe!! Cheers Peachland Dave

My sister and I are visiting Kelowna from Alberta and drove to Peachland for some shopping and lunch yesterday (September 25) We were greeted by Brooklyn who immediately apologized because of the fire burning so close, all of the staff had to leave to look after personal matters except herself and the dishwasher Tiegan. I cannot begin to tell you how these 2 young people handled the stress of the situation and looked after customers at the same time. Our food was delivered by Tiegan and we did not know at the time that he was the dishwasher nor did we know that he was the one who had cooked our meal until Brooklyn mentioned it. Food was absolutely delicious! These 2 should be recognized for holding the place together during a crisis with professionalism and preparing wonderful food.
