Nestled within the stunning natural beauty of Bali, Pantai Restaurant is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Located near The Menjangan in Pejarakan, this charming eatery offers a delightful array of dishes that cater to diverse palates. Imagine savoring your meal on a terrace overlooking the serene sea, surrounded by lush mangroves and sandy beaches—it's truly picturesque! The ambiance is cozy and tranquil, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
Magnificent views of Baluran mountain, the blue waters, and evening monkeys enjoying low tide set the atmosphere. At night, there are oil candle to keep bugs at bay. The food enjoyable and the staff are on point. I genuinely enjoy spending meals here.

The most delicious meal we’ve had in Bali, the staff were amazing, scenery and views are great and if you go for a meal and aren’t staying there, we were driven down on a golf cart type car on the roof like a safari trip which was great fun and made the whole experience even better, had a brilliant night! Would definitely recommend!

Good authentic Balinese food. We had satay and it was delicious. 😋

Beautiful views of dears on the beach with nice breakfast. Staff are friendly and there are walkways to the beach with snorkeling and paddle surf boards and kayaks. Great place for family and romantic getaways

Great happy hour and drinks!! Loved their edamame. Do not get the seafood platter….worst fish and prawns of my life. They were over cooked and dry or mush. Otherwise great vibe and views. Staff was very friendly.

after a long journey from the city, this place is like an oasis in the middle of desert! the foods are nice, the ambience and the surrounding made us feel at ease. not to mention the excellent service from the staffs, including the trainees! wish I'd spent more time to enjoy the breeze of the ocean.

If you close your eyes and think about what a Balinese restaurant looks like, pretty sure this place will come very close! In the middle of a nature reserve and the mangroves, the terrace over the sea and a wonderful sandy beach on the side. Food, drinks and certainly service outstanding. Super cosy and quiet, limited nr of tables. Couldn't draw or dream it better. A place to not miss when you're around. Best reserve as you need a shuttle to get there (no cars allowed). And if you have the time, take the apero at the Bali tower, amazing sunset view there over the lake and the nearby Java volcanos. Enjoy!!

The European meals here are okay, but for the local food, I've tried a better one elsewhere. The thing that you cannot find it anywhere is the atmosphere and the scenery. Especially during the dawn. I'll miss the atmosphere and the quietness that I can't find it elsewhere.

Restaurant
Warung Setia Pemuteran is a popular local roadside eatery that attracts both locals and tourists with its diverse menu. From classic Indonesian and Asian dishes like Nasi Goreng and Prawn Pad Thai to Western favorites, fresh salads, sushi, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options - the place has something for everyone. Despite the bustling atmosphere and some roadside noise, it's a great spot to enjoy affordable fresh local fare.
Really tasty food - my favorite is pumpkin soup, ceviche, season mix salad (avocado, pomelo, beetroot salad with yogurt herb dressing), banana milkshakes. I'm sure there are many more great options here. One of the best on the block 😀

We ate here3 times during our holiday, and every single time was amazing. The only things that i would change is that it is besides a very busy road. We tasted a lot of things and liked everything. We recommend everything with tuna, especially the avocado stuffed with spicy tuna!
Philine J — Google review
Stunning food in a roadside warung. Some might grumble about the road noise, but you come here for food, right? Exceptional food, and not always the usual favourites. The Shrimp and Pomelo Salad is so good, we came three nights in a row, and I ordered it each time! The Mushroom Crispies are a perfect partner, though one night I ordered the Mushroom Sate, which was almost equal. Nasi Campur Fish to die for. Tempeh/Tofu curry, Kang Kung… and there are great desserts! Honestly, I'm sure this is the best food in the town, up there with the best on the island.

We had the best food here and it was unbelievable cheap!! The ceviche, tuna and prawns were of very high quality and we really enjoyed the meal. The ambience was very nice as well, so I really recommend the place!

We tried Warung Setia because it is located near our place. Surprisingly the taste is so good and the price is fair enough. Their sashimi is a top notch! it is so fresh! My husband ordered fish and chips and I believe their chips are homemade, the cut and the taste of it is amazing. You should definitely try this warung when you visit Pemecutan area.

Delicious food (we had satay and prawns) and it was one of the best satays on Bali ❤️. Pomelo salad was so refreshing 😍. Thank you!

Food and service are amazing! The road is super close so its quite loud.

Nestled along the scenic route of Jl. Singaraja-Gilimanuk in Penyabangan, Kec. Gerokgak, Warung Pencar Buleleng Barat is a delightful dining spot that captures the essence of local Balinese cuisine. This charming eatery offers a stunning ocean view and a relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal stop for travelers heading towards Northeast Bali.
Such a lovely place. We came for lunch and shared a fresh snapper from the grill with fingerlicking good and spicy sambals. The staff were so lovely and attentive. Such as the owner who introduced me to the whole kitchen team. Absolutely worth a visit❤️

A nice restaurant in a quite tiny village in the northern part of Bali. The restaurant is nothing spectacular but serves okay food for people passing by. I guess the highlight is really the swing, that is visible on many photos. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We visited Hatten Vineyard and the people there recommended us to have lunch at Warung Pencar. We ordered the grilled Baronang fish that comes with rice and soup, and another plecing kangkung dish, which was a bit oily. Overall a nice experience as the warung has a nice view of the sea except that it was really hot and humid. The place is clean and decent.

I had looked at menus posted a week ago and thought ok give it a try. I think it might be new management. Similar new menu but at least 30% more. My bami goreng was very small and a bit bland. Nice view but food value proposition means l wouldnt try again

very cool setting, both for the view and the restaurant seating/grounds itself. food was very good (fresh seafood). quick service, plenty of space. have outdoor seating directly in front of the water and also an open air more traditional restaurant setting. plenty of parking for bikes and cars. a real hidden gem in Pemuteran.
NoahJon M — Google review
The food is good and a bit pricy than other shops in that area.
Aung E — Google review
The fish was great, we had the local flavor 500g fish for 95k, and the calamari. The coconut milkshake was just how i like it, with coconut meat chunks and just enough milk and sweetness. The view of the ocean was great and the ambience was nice and relaxing. And last but definitely not least, they were very good in following covid protocols. It's a great stop along the way towards Northeast Bali. And don't forget to say hi to Chelsea the friendly dog.

Balinese restaurant
Warung Santai-Pemuteran is a family-owned establishment located at the entrance of Tamansari Resort. Renowned as one of Bali's finest local warungs, this restaurant offers a diverse menu for lunch and dinner, making it an excellent choice for food enthusiasts. To ensure quality, customers are advised to pre-order their meals in advance so that the necessary ingredients can be obtained. With three visits under my belt during my stay at Tamansari, I consistently enjoyed exceptional dining experiences.
We ate here and then took a cooking class with the wonderful Madi. The food at the warung is really good - classic Balinese dishes cooked well. We had vegetarian options and were both very tasty. The space is cute and quiet, and fans keep you cool if you go for lunch. I would HIGHLY recommend the cooking class. We learned so much in 2 hours: five dishes plus a dessert, with not one ingredient put to waste. It was a great insight into Balinese cooking, and we got the recipes to bring home. Madi is an amazing teacher - she is super clear and makes the whole experience feel special. Thank you for a lovely (and tasty) experience.

This is some of the best food I've had Bali, including 'smart' restaurants in ubud & seminyak Truly amazing. I thought last night was good this is 100%. Better. I'm doing a cooking course tomorrow. Highly recommend. Go for it. Indonesian at its best

Santai Warung: It's An Authentic Balinese Experience in Pemuteran 🙏🏻 Santai Warung stands out as a culinary gem in Pemuteran, renowned for its vegetarian and vegan friendly offerings that cater to diverse dietary preferences. The restaurant’s warm ambiance, complemented by live music nights, creates an engaging and relaxed environment. The dishes, particularly the grilled fish and the green coconut milk shrimp curry 🫶🏻, were nothing short of spectacular rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. Guests can also participate in cooking classes, gaining insight into Balinese culinary techniques. The overall experience evoked a sense of nostalgia, akin to visiting one’s grandmother’s kitchen, where tradition and love are infused into every meal ❤️ Thank you so much 🙏🏻.

We have dined here for a few nights in a row. Also did a cooking class with the delightful Made. This family run Warung is charming and quirky in a good way assorted dining spaces, lovely gardens, bonsai. Prices are excellent in line with local warung prices (as opposed to high end resort) prices. Santa I is just down the road from where we are staying and let's just the resort prices are pricey. We have been in Bali for a month travelling from east to west and recommend local warungs for a true Balinese dining experience.

Warung Santai is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a quiet street in Pemuteran it is always a pleasure to sit in the lovely rustic surrounds and eat from the traditional Balinese menu created by Made. The staff are always welcoming, the beer is always cold, the food is always good, there is frequently live music happening - sometimes planned, sometimes impromptu. Made and Gustut make everyone feel welcome and at home. From Made’s fabulous cooking school which I highly recommend, to Gustut’s artistic touches to the space, Warung Santia always delivers a lovely experience.

Warung Santai offers a first rate Balinese dining experience. The owner/chef conducts cooking classes which my wife did and I ate the outcome. Seriously good! The decor is quirky/wonderful set in an undercover garden. On the three consecutive nights we ate at Santai, we tried a wide selection of the menu and still haven't determined a favourite! The co-owner is a musician so there is live music a couple of times a week and it provides a fantastic vibe.

best local food in town. all cooked fresh to order and no MSG used. quirky decor kept us entertained until the food came, as there is something interesting to look at in every corner. live music most Wednesdays. we dined there several times during our stays. Cooking class was loads of fun too and learned heaps. we will definitely be back.

Asian restaurant
Warung DBucu is a popular Asian eatery in Bali known for its delectable cuisine. This bustling restaurant stands out among the many simple dining establishments in the area due to its fantastic food. If you're looking for a break from the typical rice and Bintang, Warung DBucu offers a diverse menu with flavors that are sure to satisfy your cravings. With fresh ingredients of exceptional quality, some dishes may come at a slightly higher price, but it's worth every penny.
Don't get misled by the location (a little bit in the backyard of main road restaurants) and the size (only a few tables). According to me it is one of the top 3 best restaurants in town. The family running it is absolutely adorable but also very competent. I believe that they must have been professionally trained. They offer an extensive range of dishes, from traditional Balinese, traditional Indonesian to western cuisine, they are able to offer a great level of quality, taste, aesthetic and price! They are indeed very affordable and definitely much better than other places which can charge twice (or more) the price they offer. If you are in Pemuteran for a few days only, like most tourists, it is a must to check.

+++The menu is nicely balanced, with fish and meat dishes. We had mie goreng, pork ribs and pepes ikan. Pisang goreng for desert. All fresh and very tasty. +++Open until after 22h. -Only cash, no card

I’ve dined at this restaurant multiple times, and every visit has been a delight. The food is absolutely delicious, each dish is prepared with care and full of flavor. the food never disappoints me. This place has become a go-to for me, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in Pemuteran for almost a month and we were coming back here a looot of times. Food and service are super good. My favourites here were tuna, papaya salad, gazpacho and really interesting moringa soup with popcorn

My partner and I came here for lunch AND dinner on the same day because we loved it so much. What I loved the most about it is that they are so lowkey and humble - no thrills or frills, just good ol’ home cooked dishes that taste like what your mum makes. The seared tuna rolls were absolutely fantastic - packed with so many flavours and the green beans were also great. Not to mention this place is pretty well priced - a meal for 2 costs under 200k. A must visit in the area.

So happy to have found this warung!!! It's located down an alley and walking distance from our accommodation at Taman Sari Resort. The menu has a wide variety of options, from local to Asian and Western dishes. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS and served in large portions haha They don’t serve pork here, which makes it a good option for Muslim travelers who might find it a bit difficult to find suitable restaurants or warungs in Pemuteran. The staff were also very friendly, and the place was very clean.

This is a small but worth visiting restaurant in Pemuteran. It's not on the main road. Instead it is on a quiet back road. I forgot to take photos of food. I have had Sate Ayam from so many different places in Bali, but this restaurant offers the best one. The chicken was good, but what made it the best was the fried rice came with the sate. This is one of the best restaurants in Pemuteran.

BEST IN TOWN! it may has higher price than others, but it is definetly worth the price! I’ve ordered tum yam and local grilled fish
