An amazing place where you can learn all about the winemaking of the region. An excellent museum that organically combines ancient exhibits and modernity. And of course, very friendly staff!! And the cherry on the cake is a tasting of excellent wines! A must visit, especially for those who are visiting chateauneuf du pape for the first time!
WORTH IT! Good way to spend about an hour learning about the history of CdP and the surrounding areas. Self guided audio tour you can do at your own pace. Tasted 3 or 4 wines afterward. Dominika was an excellent host. She answered all our questions, including what other crus we should visit. They ship to the US and will cover 10% of the tarrifs. My husband and I learned a lot and enjoyed this experience. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience learning more about wine and the region itself. I am always have been a big fan of CdP wines and going here to learn more about the wines was a dream come true. La Fiole was the first bottle of CdP I had and to see it made here…such a great experience. We learnt a lot and tasted great wines. Coraline was super nice and knowledgeable about the wines as well. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Amazing museum and Dominika was so knowledgeable and kind! We loved the wines and the whole experience!
A hidden gem! We had a wonderful hour or so spent here learning more about the history of the region and wine produced here. It is a well laid out museum with interactive elements, and includes samples in your ticket fee, which we did not initially realise but were very much welcome! €8 includes 3 wine samples, €12 includes 5 and I think the max ticket price was €25 including 5 special vintage samples. Really good value and our sommelier Emily was extremely well informed and happy to chat with us! Her English was great too which we really appreciated as non French-speakers. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
We booked online. When we arrived we were told the tour was a self guided audio one. I’m deaf, so asked if there were boards to read instead. Initially I was told there wasn’t much to read as it was all audio. The girl on the desk was most apologetic. After about 10 minutes of my husband relaying the info to me, the girl from the front desk caught up with us and very kindly gave me a rough transcript of the tour info which she had just printed out for me. Having finished the tour we had a nice wine tasting session where we tasted five delicious wines and were chatted through the process by a very knowledgeable and friendly guy. There was no hard sell at all. We bought a bottle of wine and then when we got to the desk to pay they gave us another bottle for free to apologise for the audio guide situation. The staff couldn’t have been more obliging and friendly. It was a great little stop off. The tour and tasting last about 45 minutes and you can book online. I’d highly recommend it.
Wonderful experience. The tour of the museum is very interesting and allows to have a deep insight into their wine production. Dominika guided us through wine tasting, with kindness and sympathy. Absolutely recommended!
Easy access, plenty of parking out front, we were received upon entering and quickly started our self guided tour. This place has some nice wines.

Les Caves St Charles is a MUST when visiting Chateauneuf-du-Pape! What an experience! Entering the cave is like walking through history. Guy is so knowledgeable on the history of the town, the wine and the wine makers. The cave offers a tasting of several different wine domaines in one spot, which is nice because it’s hard to stop at every winery. Can’t recommend this place enough!
This was a wonderful tasting! Highly recommend it. Guy was so knowledgeable about wine and really shared some beautiful local wines! The caves were incredible!
Very nice place to have wine tasting or cooking class. Knowledgeable people with the most delicate wine selection from small domains.
We spoiled ourselves by having a private lunch with pairings after our wine tasting. The food was superb. An experience will we never forget. It was absolutely wonderful overlooking the Rhône River and all the wineries.
We had a lovely tasting with Valentine - she was very knowledgeable and recommended some great wines (and restaurants in the area). We will definitely come back next time we visit!
We had a fantastic time doing a wine tasting. So kind, knowledgeable and the wines provided were delicious, varied and interesting. Strong recommend
I highly recommend stopping in for a wine tasting experience with Guy Bremond at Les Caves St. Charles in Chateauneuf-du-pape. Guy is very knowledgeable and presents wonderful wines while providing history on winemaking in the region. Do not miss this if you are in the area. Thank you, Guy!
We had an incredible wine tasting at Les Caves St. Charles on a recent visit to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The area has such a rich wine growing history with so many different wine styles to sample. We couldn’t believe that Les Caves offers FREE 60-minute wine tastings, and scheduling could not be easier on Les Caves’ user-friendly website. We arrived and were greeted by a lovely, knowledgeable woman who enthusiastically guided us downstairs into an intimate, private tasting room. Les Caves has several private tasting rooms, each below ground and designed as mini caves. For an hour our host guided us through six different local wines, each distinctive in style. At the conclusion, we were free to exit Les Caves owing nothing. Of course, we bought a mixed case of fantastic wine that can’t be purchased in the U.S. Les Caves was a highlight of our visit to this legendary wine growing region.

Super friendly, interesting selection. We got a cognac from 1946.
(Translated by Google) An incredible range of syrups! Exceptional liqueurs, with a special mention for verbena, recommended by a seller who knows his products very well, who gives us ideas for cocktails, each more tempting than the last, and who tells us very nice anecdotes. This discovery was a treat, what a shame to be on a bike, impossible to buy everything we wanted. We will come back this summer by car.
(Translated by Google) I'm used to coming every year to buy PAC lemon syrup but today we were very disappointed by the seller no sign of sympathy in a hurry to make us pay no time to look at anything else he had already started the payment by credit card we had the impression that he wanted us to leave quickly and leave him alone!!! It's a shame when you travel miles to get there and you have no communication!! (Translated by Google) Great local shop and distillery. Huge selection of delicious pastis, liqueurs, and other syrups (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Friendly staff and written explanations for the most popular bottles. We did miss the opportunity to taste or learn more about the production process, but in all honesty, we didn't ask ourselves. Perhaps that option is available. Tip: ask! 😉 (Original) Fijne lokale winkel en distilleerderij. Enorme keuze aan lekkere pastis, likeur en andere siropen (alcoholisch en non-alcoholisch). Misschien is die mogelijkheid er wel. Tip: vragen! 😉

WALK up to the top and check it out. It is what's left of the Popes' summer residence from hundreds of years ago. Gorgeous view. There's a restaurant, wine cave and ice cream spot on the way up (and down) too. No tickets. No tour. Parking at top. Just walk around, take pics and enjoy the view. Easy.
Lovely stop near the end of the day. Excellent views all around the area. Easy walk into town and a wine bar before 7:00 up on top or fabulous restaurant after 7:00. Well worth the stop
Interesting to see. Good views over the countryside towards Mont Ventoux. Not worth going out of your way to see the chateau but if staying close of visiting for wine then pop up the hill.
The ruins of an old castle are so beautiful and shining there alone. The view is so beautiful from there. Beautiful sunset, and the reflection of the loght on the castle is amazing.
The Castle of Chateauneuf-de-Pape is a great historical monument related to the village and Avignon. It’s also offering a nice view above the wineries, the Rhone river and Avignon.
THE location in town, why it all exists. Lovely views, either walk up from town or park after driving up.
The palace is ruins, but still an interesting sight to see, as it has a pretty view overlooking a valley.
Pretty views over country side at these castle ruins.

Our visit to Clos de Calvaire Winery in Châteauneuf-du-Pape was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our guide, Morgan, whose passion and knowledge of the wines and the region made the experience truly unforgettable. Morgan led us through a delightful tour of the vineyard and cellar, sharing fascinating insights into the winemaking process and the history of the estate. The tasting was a highlight, with each wine perfectly presented and paired with thoughtful explanations of the flavors and terroir that define Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The wines themselves were outstanding, from the bold reds to the elegant whites, showcasing the rich complexity of the region. We left with many bottles to enjoy at home, but more than that, we left with a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind each bottle. If you’re visiting the area, Clos de Calvaire is a must, and Morgan is the guide you want by your side to make it an unforgettable experience!
DEFINITELY 5 STARS! Family-owned, organic winery with a beautiful tasting room and vineyards. Morgan was an educational and entertaining guide. My husband and I have been on dozens of wine tours and we both thought this was one of the best. Morgan was very approachable, and the wine was excellent. The tasting and tour (which included going outside with the vines) was a little less than 2 hours, but you could stay and linger if you wanted. New tasting room and facility overall, but still lots of history. Morgan's English was very good, as was his sense of humor. The guide makes a difference in your experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, tasting 5 wines. We bought a few bottles but no pressure to do so. Highly recommend.
One of the best wine tour experiences we’ve had! Morgan is a great storyteller and super friendly, introducing his colleagues along the way. We were lucky to have a private tour, which made the tasting even more personal and relaxed. The tasting room is beautiful—modern with a classic charm. Highly recommend if you have some time to visit wineries in Châteauneuf du Pape.
Had an amazing wine tasting at Clos du Calvaire with my familie and can't recommend enough also getting the tour around the estate and vineyard as well. Huge shout out to our guide and friend Morgan, who gave us a warm and personal experience at our visit (and thank you for the kind and helpful tips on how to wrap the wine bottles for our suitcases, they came home safely!)
We visited this morning, 9th of August, and got a welcoming feeling. The tour was great and enlightening. Good explanation of the guide. Sorry, forgot your name. 😔 Afterwards a great tasting. We enjoyed it very much. 🍷🍷Especially the CH9 2014
It was a very lovely experience, we went through the story of the wines while tasting, the wines were nice, and the ambience was beautiful. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, which made the whole visit very enjoyable.
I had an incredible experience visiting Clos du Calvaire. The property is beautiful and verdant. The tasting room is a mixture of modern and classic design that makes you feel chic yet comfortable. Morgan was very welcoming and took our experience to the next level. The tour was very thorough and informative. The tasting was relaxed and elegant with classical piano music playing through the tasting room speakers. The wines were delicious. Morgan was very knowledgeable and personable. I chose to book a tour and tasting with Clos du Calvaire based on my own research of the region and decided on them due to it being a family owned organic estate. I was not disappointed in any regard and I am extremely happy with my decision to visit. I hope to be back one day soon and I can’t wait for my wines to arrive via mail! Thank you again for a fabulous experience!
Enjoyed some lovely wine here - casual place with friendly helpful staff with good knowledge about the wines. For tastings best to make an appointment to get availability

Had a super informative and delicious tasting in English with Alexi! The wines were superb and we went home with a few bottles each. We especially loved that they have more affordable bottles (18e) as well as a more expensive reserve line- all were super good quality and delicious.
Did a quick wine tasting here. We didn't have an appointment so we didnt get the tour, they just gave us a quick tasting in a room near the reception. The wines were lovely, and the lady gave a decent description in history. All in all it was about 10-15 minutes including time when we had our own conversation during the tasting. The space is gorgeous and has a lovely view of the region.
We had a nice tour starting from the Château and the fields; it’s incredibly beautiful when the morning light hits. The fermenting room and aging room also keep traces of history. The wines are beautiful, and the tasting experience is delicate.
Very welcoming wine tasting, with interesting story telling. You can also walk freely and profit from à beautiful landscape.
Overall not impressed with wine or experience, we waited 45 mins. And not worth the wait. The lady locked the door during other tasting and no one gave us any update on how much longer as others were waiting outside, when the door was opened no one said anything, when we went in it was short and unwelcoming. We came from Chateau de la Gardine and it was spectacular, tour and wine!
The winery is beautiful, but the wines were nothing special. Coming from a country where the wine is excellent, none of them particularly impressed me. I’m not a professional, just a casual wine lover, but still, none of the wines stood out. We didn’t have a reserved tour, we just came for a quick tasting at the small bar by the reception, and in about 10 minutes we tried four wines. It wasn’t anything spectacular, even though the place is very popular. On the other hand, it was lovely to take photos in front of the winery, as the entrance is truly stunning.
Alexis was a very knowledgeable, warm and smiley host during our impromptu visit to Chateau La Nerthe. He shared many good wine vintages with us, both red and white, and also taught us a thing or two. Chateau La Nerthe itself was a majestic Provençal winery with a beautiful view
Gorgeous place. An absolute must visit in Châteauneuf-du-Pape if what you want is not just wine tasting, but immerse into the history, passion, spirit and traditions of the winemaking in the region. You will want to spend hours here, wandering around the estate, the cellars. We visited on the Veraison day (and you guys were right - good luck with parking in the village :-D) and were worrying, because we had the guided tour appointment and were running late due to heavy traffic. But as we rushed in, we realized we should not. This is Province, so chill! The tour was amazing - book the one with premium tasting in the 16-century cellar, you will not regret it. Alexis is the best tour guide you can get, so lucky you if you join him! Passionate, full of knowledge and humor, and will make your day, believe me. Wines are absolutely beautiful and very reasonably priced (the ones open for sale I mean ;)).

ONE OF THE BEST tastings after 3 weeks in CdP! AND there was no charge for it! We tasted 6 or 7 wines in a private tasting room. The brief tour was interesting too, especially because the family lives in the Château today. In fact, we briefly met the owner while we were there. Chiara was a wonderful guide. She knew a lot about wine, of course, but asked us a lot of questions and made the experience interactive. (Her English was very good.) Vineyard is beautiful (but not part of the tour). We bought several bottles. They have a few souvenirs, too. Highly recommend making a reservation.
Fantastic experience. Wines, the scenery, property, and Chiara who helped us with the tasting were great and knowledgeable! We ended up buying a bunch of wines and we are super excited to receive it once we get home.
We tasted both traditional and vintage wines — all of them were of excellent quality. We were given a brief description of each wine and the differences between them were explained. Next time, I would prefer to book a tour in advance, hopefully with a chance to see the winemaking process and enjoy a more in-depth experience. This time, we just stopped by in the morning without a reservation.
We had such an incredible experience at this winery. The estate and the view are breathtaking. The wine was equally as good and the tasting with Julie really took our breath away. We tasted some of the most incredible wines of our lives. If you only visit one vineyard in Chateauneuf du Pape, this should, hands down, be it!
Great Château! We had a tour through the cellar and tasted some wine in the taste-room. Super nice and beautiful wines! We even got the change to taste some older wines. We bought some great memories 🍇🍷
What a wonderful discovery, without a wine tasting booking, and opened on a bank holiday to boot! The wines were simply outstanding! This is a winery that prides itself on its products and sells locally or can ship to other countries, as they do not have importers. Julie did a fantastic job explaining the history of the vineyard and the different wines they produce. They have a great selection of aged wines available.
After a winery day in châteauneuf-du-pape, we walked away saying Gardine was our favorite! A beautiful estate and wonderful wines. Shoutout to Chiara for making our experience so memorable. Quick tip: make sure to make a reservation here because they get busy.
Amazing experience! Chiara treated us to a really fun tasting experience, easily our favorite while in CdP. The wines were well balanced and the best part is the tasting is free! We walked away with some bottles at what felt like reasonable prices and the tasting included 7ish wines including a 1995 red which blew us away.

We visited Domaine de Beaurenard on Friday of last week and the hospitality from Sylvie was impeccable. She was informative and welcoming and we could not have asked for anything more. While we were there we also got a chance to meet some of the family members that own the winery because they are always there which says a lot about the quality and care they put into their wine. I will forever recommend this wine and this winery as it is easy to put your word behind people who truly care! Thank you, Sylvie!
We had a wonderful experience! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, while also providing a knowledgeable wine tasting. 10/10 would recommend!
We were visiting Châteauneuf-du-Pape on the Veraison this year for one night, and had very limited time before wineries would close. I wanted to make sure I visit a place with traditions, character and soul. And Domaine de Beaurenard did not disappoint! From the moment we stepped in and were warmly greeted by Sylvie (who had helped to reserve wine tasting via email a few weeks before), we could see history, passion, culture of winemaking. Sylvie offered us to have a look around and into the aging room, and afterwards had a lovely chat during tasting. It was almost closing time on a big festival day, but she never looked tired or in a rush. Wines were beautiful (thank you for the special one!), I wish I could buy more to fly them home. History of the domaine is impressive and full of passion. The only thing I regret is that we could not get to the village early enough to join the guided tour. Thank you, Sylvie (and special thanks from the kids for the juice ;)). I have a place to visit when I am in Châteauneuf-du-Pape next time!
Very personal, nice wine tasting and great wine, we have learned a lot also about wine production. 13 different grapes in one glas.
We had our best wine tasting experience of Chateauneuf du Pape at Domaine de Beaurenaed! Thanks to Elodie and Sylvie! A free but very immersive experience with physical grapes display of the 13 types of grape of the appellation, to the visit of the aging room, to the immersive tasting.
I had a truly wonderful experience at Domaine de Beaurenard. The estate itself is beautiful and full of history, and the wines are exceptional, showcasing the richness and elegance of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. A special thank you to Sylvie, who guided our tasting. She was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about the wines and the domaine’s philosophy. She took the time to explain not just the wines, but also the history, terroir, and biodynamic approach, which made the experience both educational and memorable. I left with a deeper appreciation of the wines and the estate, and I would highly recommend a visit to anyone traveling in the region. Thank you to Sylvie and the Domaine de Beaurenard team for such a warm and unforgettable experience!
Silve is excellent at sharing the uniqueness of this beautiful winery. Domaine De Beaurenard is a one of a kind winery. I highly recommend thw 2016 Red
Beautiful Chateau of the 8th generation family run winery. You can do tours of the winery and tastings. Beaurenard has a very good quality selection of wines to try and buy from here. This is next to the museum which also gets busy, so try and go earlyish otherwise tastings may also be busy which is not as ideal.

Booked the bike tour - no better way of seeing the Chateauneuf-Du-Pape village and surrounding vineyards. Electric bikes made everything so easy, staff were really helpful in setting everything up and we were given free chilled water before and away. 5 stars.
Great free tasting here. Tried 7 or so different wines which were all great. Didn’t feel any pressure to purchase but we did because we loved the wines so much.
Fun and welcoming staff! We came at the same time as an American tourist group that had booked a wine tasting, and they insisted we joined which we of course did. When we tried to pay afterwards they insisted it was free! Extremely generous, especially since some wines were 100€+ per bottle! The wines were a bit on the high end price wice for us though, even though they were delicious!
Great bike trip through Châteauneuf-du-Pape! Amazing way to see the town. Of course it finished with a lovely tour of ogier and a wine tasting. Don’t hesitate :)
Amazing tasting, they do organized ones but also ad hoc if you just walk in and want to try. Jean was incredible storyteller and told us so much about the wine but also the region and history! Also a big plus is the incredible surroundings of the maison, it’s a beautiful spot with a garden. Definitely recommend!
Highly recommend booking the wine tasting and bike tour with Ogier which was an amazing way to explore the Chateauneuf-du-pape region. The bikes were electric and very easy to use even in the summer heat.
We looked forward to a visit and drove some miles and found the door locked 16.45 6/9 2023. After a while a man opened the door and immidiatly went to his computer without a Word. After some time we wanted to speak with and he asked is to waitand then we wanted to taste 2 whitewines and he had only oneof them and brought a red wine instead! It was a disaster! We have tasted wine in France for 40 years, but never seen anythinglike this!.
beautiful wines, great testing experience with the host.

Best Vintage catered the wines for our wedding in September. They were very accommodating, friendly, easy to work with and had reasonable prices. They provided us with suggestions on pairings for our food and provided us with alternatives to suit our budget. We loved our wedding wine selection and would highly recommend working with them! We will absolutely be buying from Best Vintage again in the future! Thank you all so much!
We were there after visiting a few wineries. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and does the selection of the bottles and vintages they sell there. He gave me a few very niche recommendations that were well within my budget. He was also kind and helpful in organising the transport of our wine to Spain!
The BEST shop in town. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and will guide you in every way. Prices are not marked up and Stephan and his colleague are passionate about their business. We purchased a few bottles here back in May and came back in Oct specifically to go to this shop and buy more! It’s one-stop-shopping. They have all the best - from low price ranges to high. We will continue to be customers! Merci
Our group had a wonderful wine tasting experience with the owner, Stefan. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. We walked away with several bottles of wine - but felt no pressure to buy.
This place is amazing. Great staff. Awesome selection of wine. Fast and economical shipping to the US. Purchased a case of wine June 2 and it arrived in Florida on June 16! The other places I ordered wine from won’t be here until August. Will be ordering more wine from here.
We bought in October on the trip to Germany a couple of bottles so the deep recommendation of two bottles 2010 and 2011. We tasted at our home: both of them rusty in color and corky. Undrinkable. Neither for cooking. I send an email to discuss the issue. Until now not even a reply. I kindly ask the community: dont buy at this shop!!! Disappointed experience.
We had an amazing visit! Learned so much about the wines, the region, and each bottle we tasted. Great time, incredible wine, amazing staff! Thank you.
Such a wonderful experience. The person helping my wife and I with our tasting was fun to talk to, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with while we picked out a variety of wine to have shipped back home to us after our trip was over. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

We stopped by Mont-Redon on our way through on our honeymoon biking tour and had a lovely tasting with a young man who lived nearby (sorry I can’t remember his name). He answered our questions diligently and discussed their wine making process. He was very friendly and obviously enjoyed his work. The highlight for us was seeing their impressive cellar where wines have been aging for decades. Any wine collector would be very jealous of this impressive collection! The wine itself of course was top notch, as you would expect of CDP.
What a fabulous experience we had today with Richard (and Hamish the dog) !!! We really wanted to do vineyard tour however due to our travel was not able to - so instead opted for wine tasting. The explanation of the appellation and history around CnP and region was outstanding and tasting did not disappoint! The history surrounding the 2 families (see the coat of arms) and how they still come together for picking and creating these amazing wines simply added to the overall experience. The wines are delightful and tantalising to the palate and are reflective of the fine wines in this region. A full flight of tasting is available for the true wine explorer. Enjoy!!
Delicious wine and a very nice tasting experience. They did speak English and took us walk in. Definitely stop here.
Thank you Richard for an unforgettable and wonderful wine tasting!! You were so insightful and answered all our questions. The wines are incredible and the vineyard is beautiful. We definitely recommend going! Also Haymitch is the cutest pup!!
We visited this lovely winery without a reservation on our honeymoon and had the absolute best experience with Alex in the tasting room! He was warm, kind, and went above and beyond to make our tasting experience special. Delicious wines and a warm welcome made this the most memorable stop in the region. Make sure you go and say hello to our friend Alex!
Beautiful winery and friendly staff. Wine was delicious as well - probably the best white wine we’ve ever had. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Avignon.
Beautiful wines with a fantastic host that explains the history. One of the best cellar doors I’ve ever visited.
Great wine tasting. Kind and knowledgeable person hosted us today at Mont Redon, on a beautiful Sunday. I fully recommend the place.

Very friendly staff, definitely worth a visit to get the correct information about the local activities.
Very helpful. Can recommend some of the signed cycle routes through the vineyards, great way of seeing the land, but take plenty of food and water with you. It can be particularly brutal if 'le mistral's is blowing hard.
Provided lots of pamphlets and helped us understood where to go for wine tastings. The women were helpful but didn't go out of their way to describe the options.
Super new tourist info location and very friendly and knowledgeable staff
(Translated by Google) We have been in the village for 5 years and played the game “Intrigue in the city” this weekend. Great, for young and old, a nice walk in the village, puzzles during the visit! I strongly advise. We all had fun from 8 years old to 50 years old, there is no age to find out who wanted to poison the Pope. 12€ at the tourist office. Very nice and warm reception. The tasting was very good. Great explanation and she answered all the questions. We tried the reds and really liked the Cote du Rhône villages. The cave was very nice a well. Lots of little things inside and lots to look at. It was hot outside and the cave was nice and cool. Thank you very much!
(Translated by Google) This red wine reflects all the character of the southern Rhône terroir. We find aromas of very ripe red fruits, a touch of pepper, and the typical herbs of the scrubland. The texture is soft, the tannins are present without being too strong, and there is a nice freshness on the palate. Perfect to enjoy with friends around a barbecue or with mature cheeses. An authentic, generous and charming wine. I highly recommend! The Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir is truly unique. The vines grow on stony soil made up of rolled pebbles, which store the sun's heat during the day and release it at night. This allows optimal maturation of the grapes, giving rich and powerful wines, but also very balanced. This terroir, with its sunny climate and its well-known winds like the Mistral, makes it possible to produce wines of great complexity, and Juliette Avril 2022 is an excellent example.

(Translated by Google) Hello, To give you my advice on the Juliette Avril cellar. The reception is excellent. The explanations are precise and make visitors want to leave with at least a case of wine. Let's not talk about the tasting. The wine could not be more delicious, this nectar slips from the mouth into the throat so pleasantly. I invite all readers to go to the vault, you will be very well received there and you will in no way be disappointed with your visit.

Excellent help and understanding. Wide variety of wines on display, we were not able to visit the new winery and went to the boutique. Our knowledge was recognized and we were treated accordingly. Old vintages available which is providence guarantee - invaluable for 10-25 year old wine in perfect shape. Haven’t but will be shipping old bottles back to USA
**Final update. The company reached out and made the refund. Review changed to 3 stars, but we won't purchase their wines or recommend them after this very poor experience.** **Update. Unfortunately, I need to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. When we visited this location almost 5 months ago, we purchased 6 bottles of wine to be shipped to our home in Canada. We were told that the shipment would occur within a month. We arrived home and waited and waited for the wine shipment but it never came. Eventually, we forgot about it until we came across the receipt. It was now more than four months after the initial purchase. I contacted the store and they said they would get the wine to the shipper the next day and we would be contacted by the delivery service. Two more weeks passed and we received no additional information. Finally, I emailed the store and asked for a refund. The very next day we heard from the shipping company. We are EXTREMELY UPSET that this store did not ship our wine until we contacted them after four months. Then, they didn't ship our wine until I reminded them two weeks later. Service has been EXTREMELY POOR - they never even provided an apology for the delay for the extremely poor customer service. At this point, I've let them know I want a refund, and they are no longer responding. I will be refusing the delivery and hoping that the store will refund the order and do the right thing. My advice to any Canadians is not to pay to ship this wine home or you may have the same terrible experience that we did. This store deserves ZERO stars for how we have been treated by them. ** We had a wonderful wine tasting and purchased a box of wonderful wines for shipping to Canada. Thanks so much for your kindness and assistance!
The best wine tasting experience in Châteauneuf du Pape ! Wide range of Rhône Valley wines, plus the iconic Chateau Beaucastel available to taste and buy here. Jean Carlos shared 4 wines and a huge amount of knowledge with us - thank you - you are the best!
Nice tasting room and wines. Close to all the restaurants in CDP
Needless to say, these are great wines. For free, they give you Beaucastel blanc and rouge. The blanc is one of the best of CdP. Unfortunately, the rouge was not ready yet, so they probably should've had an older vintage available. The Famille Perrin performed really well too and are such good bang for your buck wines. While the tasting guide was great, the experience was much more impersonal than other wineries and the prices in the shop were not much better than in the US.
Booked a tasting weeks in advance. Showed up and the rep only had 2 red wines available for tasting. No whites for tasting and no whites available for sale. Displays of Les Sinards but he wouldn’t sell them claiming they were there for the display. Pretty much a letdown for a top winery boutique tasting room.
Arrived asked for a wine tasting. Told to come back in an hour . Went back into shop 20 minutes later to cancel tasting as didn’t want to wait and guess what shop was empty. Not impressed!
Great selection of wines. I perhaps purchased the ones of the expensive end.......

If you are on a cruise ship and only have a day to explore. Visit the best of Marseille, a beautiful meal in a lovely restaurant excellent wine tasting and a few hours in Adoine to explore . Really was a great day to remember. Book before you sail 😄
Had a great experience with the sommelier. He helped us through five wines. We have done many wine tastings before but we learned some new things. It included an elaborate charcuterie board.
We had a great tasting with Philippe who passed on some of his great wealth of knowledge with humour and kindness. There were lovely local products in the shop, including a mellow olive oil from their own olives, and the estate is lovely to have a walk around too.
Absolutely amazing food, view and service… I was quite surprised they don’t have Mechlin starts … highly recommend to have 6 blind try dishes from the chef 😍
The winery has a good view and quite good quality for wines.
Lovely peaceful place to stop off for a while - selling wines olives oils etc in a pretty winery. Very scenic surrounded by vine fields. Chateauneuf de pape bottled here too - which tasted really good -
Very nice winery, beautiful landscape and great wine tasting
Most amazing lunch. The view from the terrace was exceptional. Having lunch here was a memorable experience and a must if you are in the area wine tasting.

(Translated by Google) The tour, led by the young blonde woman (great-granddaughter), was decent and friendly. But a huge disappointment came during the tasting: there were 13 of us (booked and confirmed by phone), and then she told us she only had 11 glasses because it was supposed to be for 10 people maximum... without ever having specified this beforehand. As a result, two people had to share a glass, even though we paid full price for 13 (€195). Furthermore, the tasting was limited to only four classic wines, without offering the more prestigious vintages, which is very poor for a price of €15 per person. For a winery with good but already expensive wines, this lack of generosity and transparency leaves an extremely stingy impression. Especially since we still ended up buying €300 worth of wine afterward... It's a shame, because it leaves a stingy impression and spoils an experience that could have been truly enjoyable.
