For the small city of Castelfranco, the Duomo is a must see. Went there on a saturday and it was closed at 12h30, but reopened at 15h. The church is simple, but there are great paintings and sculptures inside, including the most famous of Giorgione.
Beautiful church with an interesting main altar. But don’t forget to see the painting by Giorgione of the Madonna with St. Francis and St George (aka Liberalis) and the altar with the martyr “Guistino”. Added bonus: this is also the Cathedral in which Giuseppe Sato was ordained a priest – he who later became Pope Saint Pius X!
Cathedral with impressive bell tower that dominates the walled old town. Rather austere inside apart from Giorgione's famous Madonna.
A must-see if you're in town. The cathedral is largely devoid of mural paintings, but Giorgione's Castelfranco Madonna more than makes up for it. And the architecture is grand. (And access is free, which is never a bad thing)
It was open Monday Aug, 7. Beautiful "pala", painting. A serene church.
Would it kill somebody to update the hours on Google Maps? Takes two minutes. Even an Italian can do it.
Lovely old town Inside old walls. Plenty to see.
Beautiful painting over an altar by Giorgione

(Translated by Google) We were quite disappointed, we entered with the discount because we had visited another museum on the circuit, so we paid 7 euros instead of 7 euros. There is only one frieze by Giorgione, since the painter's altarpiece is inside the nearby church, which was closed at the time, so we didn't see it... The exhibition is nice, but it talks about Dumas, and the price of entry is too high for what it offers.
(Translated by Google) Visited on the occasion of an exhibition on illustration dedicated to Degas, the House Museum of Giorgione (1478-1510) is in Castelfranco Veneto. Structured on three floors: two used as a permanent exhibition, the third reserved for events. The two floors of the permanent exhibition are very interesting: they narrate the events of Treviso and its province in the relationship with the Serenissima and in its fifteenth and sixteenth century history very rich in culture, art and history. Beatrice d'Este and Caterina Cornaro among the protagonists. There is also a copy of the famous Pala, the original of which is located inside the adjacent Cathedral. The entire neighborhood involved is beautiful. Easy parking in Piazza Roma or behind the apse which is accessed by a short and beautiful pedestrian ramp. The female staff at reception is very kind and knowledgeable. Thank you. Grazie.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful experience in a magical place, the home of one of the most discussed and hermetic artists of the Renaissance. Interior arrangements made in a skilful manner, which accompany you on an experiential journey contextualized in the era and in the territory. Giorgione's influences emerge, his history, what he absorbed to become what he was. In the nearby cathedral there is the famous Castelfranco altarpiece, which broke the rules of sixteenth-century altarpieces. During an exhibition they created a truly evocative guided tour of the city, full of content and small discoveries. The exhibition was "The plots of Giorgione", an initiative that could have lasted longer because it almost deserved a permanent exhibition.

Installation designed to get to know Giorgione and be taken by the hand to discover his life, the environment, the extraordinary cultural liveliness in which he grew up and admire the only two works he left us before going to Venice. Encomiabile tutto il personale sempre preparatissimo e gentilissimo. Grazie 🙏
(Translated by Google) We paid a reduced ticket price of €7 each to see an exhibition inside the house that featured little to no resemblance to Giorgione's house (the photo shows how panels, objects, and furnishings were covered in favor of the temporary exhibition panels). It's a shame, because I would have liked to understand, by visiting it, the reason for this house-museum's fame. A truly missed opportunity. Finally, the exhibition was also arranged in a confusing way. A real shame. On the other hand, the girls who welcomed us at the ticket office were very kind.

Super nice place!! Went to castelfranco just to spend a day, and decided to visit Parco Bolasco because *it's free for UNIPD students*, totally worth it! The parco is not huge, but you can chil around, and see a beautifull landscape. The best part for me is that circle full of statues (that maybe was used as a theater, not sure). Recommend to take some snacks on the bag and make a picnique under the trees.
Park is only open on the weekend!!! How ridiculous!! Tourist's are here everyday! Walk all the way here to enjoy some green space on a hot summer's day and found it closed
It is hard to find entrance- it is from main road Borgo treviso. Park is one of the best. Real hidden treasure.
Nice surprise in the center of the city and the past take over present time

(Translated by Google) On Easter Monday, we decided to visit the Bolasco Park and Villa in Castelfranco Veneto, owned by the University of Padua. The park is very large, covering about 8 hectares, including 1.5 hectares of lakes and streams: many American ducks and tortoises live here. In spring, many wildflowers appear, and others bloom. There are also about 15 centuries-old trees, including species from all over the world. The ancient tower, which can be visited inside, is also interesting. The villa, however, is still undergoing restoration; in fact, it's currently not possible to visit the upper floors, but the rooms visible are well-maintained and spectacular. The old farmhouse section is also lovely. The guide was excellent, a young woman passionate about botany and art history. There are also restrooms for those who need them. Overall, a highly recommended visit; the prices are absolutely affordable; the only drawback is the entrance fee. I recommend setting your GPS to the nearby parking lot, or rather, the Domenico Sartor Personal Services Center. Interessante anche l'antica torre, visitabile all'interno.

I had a great experience at this mall. I came to buy a pair of running shoes at the local sports store: "Cisalfa." They had exactly what I was looking for. The mall was very clean and organized and everyone was keeping social distance. Overall a very good experience 👍
Small selection of shops. Not well sign posted in terms of where to park or main entrance. Typical Italian shopping centre: awful exterior in an industrial area. Coffee is always good, though ;)
It's good place where u can find a lot of things at good price :-)

Villa Corner Chiminelli is a magnificent example of what we today call "villa civilization": built as a summer residence by Venetian nobles, it was a place of holiday, hunting and literary leisure, but also a place of work, with vineyards, cellars, a vegetable garden with fruit trees and a large surrounding agricultural estate. In front of the Villa is the Italian garden, closed to the east by an ancient frescoed wall, with a fountain, valuable sculptures in hard stone and archaeological finds. A noble chapel overlooks the entrance portico. Today Villa Corner Chiminelli is open to visitors for events and guided tours. In the rustic buildings annexed to the villa there is the Agricultural and Tanning Museum, which houses a collection of ancient agricultural tools and over a hundred machines and tools from the tanning industries of the Bassanese area. We had a really lovely experience at this winary yesterday. The tour was great and their knowledge and passion for making wine really shines though. We were treated like friends even though we had just met. The owner was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, as a plus he also spoke English so if you are in the region and don't speak Italian, you are still able to learn about the process here. We were shown how it's bottled, the different wine storage, and even the machines used to harvest the grapes. We enjoyed the tasting and thought all of the wines were good. We took 2 bottles home, wish we could have taken more but we are flying so we are limited. I'd highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area. They do appreciate an appointment so that they are prepared to give you attention. Best part of Italy is certainly the people and these winary owners truely are great people.
I cannot express how amazing the wine here is. Best I had across a month long trip in Italy!! If you have a chance to stop in and get some prosecco, I highly recommend you do, you wont find better anywhere. I was here with my girlfriend in 2023 as part of larger trip across the northern part of Italy. As the opener of the trip we were visiting my Nonno's family in San Marco, a town just outside of Castelfranco. One of my cousins here in Canada mentioned that some of his family (making them cugini dei cugini to me) had a winery in the area, and we should check it out while we were there. He said they made excellent prosecco, so its worth the detour. We went and met the brothers running the place, they told us all about the different wines they had, what made each distinct, and why only crazy people from Veneto area like my family enjoy the Cabernet Franc :p We took 6 bottles (3 prosecco, 3 reds) to sip across the rest of the trip, but they only made it 2 weeks as they enjoyed in the Dolomites, Lake Como, and Milan. The proseccos were fantastic, they had sweet aromas and a subtle sweetness, but they were all on the dry side with a crisp taste. They were the perfect thing to sit down and relax with after climbing Cinque Torri, or walking the gardens of Villa Monastero in Como. Genuinely can not sing their praises enough. The 3 red wines we got were also fantastic. True to my family's tastes, I loved the Cab Franc. Very strong aroma and almost punches you with its intense flavours. The Vine '600 and Merlot were also incredible, both had smoother tastes with the Vine '600 having a very blend of flavours that we liked so much we kept the bottle as a memento of the visit to the winery. Again I cannot overstate how much we loved the wines, and thank you to the Manera Brothers for taking the time to speak to us, and prove your cousin 1000% for bragging how good your wine is!!
Visiting Vitivinicola Manera for one night on a camper trip. The layover was absolute recommendable. The welcome was warm and lovely, the coordination by Alessandro was uncomplicated due to his Englisch skills. We even got an private tour through the winery manufacturing. Thanks to his lovely Parents and the opportunity to stay. If we get the chance we will definetly stay over again.
Legendary hospitality, such a warm family and the best Prosecco I ever had. Have taken many bottles with me in luggage
I have been to various wineries around the world but this was truley one of the best wine tasting i ever been too! Super dedicated owners, detailed explanation of how wine is done, excellent wine, affordable prices. Just didnt want to leave! Must visit when in this area! The Wines are super good and the selection of cheeses and salumi was out of this world! Well done! (Sorry i forgot the name of the person who showed us around) but well done!! The best way to start our holiday in Italy! ❤️
Unique and talented family winery! A Must when visiting Veneto! Their Prosecco and RossoManera were delicious, I wish I would’ve had more time to try the rest!! Everyone that worked here had a smile on their face and they even spoke some English and did their best to explain their wine making process to us. Thanks again! I will be back!
Excellent wines!! Mauro gave us a tour and told us all the details about their wines. They have won different awards for some of their wines so the quality is very high!
Thank you very much for the fantastic tour in the vinery.. it was our second visit by Manera, and once again we had a wonderful time together with Mr Alessandro.

Great track to practice and test bikes!
(Translated by Google) Really beautiful structure, unfortunately I was there in the evening in the dark and I couldn't appreciate it in the sunlight, but I will return to attend further courses/lessons. I followed a basic mtb riding technique lesson which was incredibly useful and effective with master Ezio, super top! I have already booked the basic mechanics/maintenance course and I can't wait to take part in the lesson...! Cinque stelle tutte meritate

Inside there is also a comfortable indoor bar where you can eat a hot snack. The staff is young and friendly. The track layout was modified in 2023, also adding a technical part for enduro bikes with two "drop" jumps and an area covered with "rock garden" stones.
Nice surprise in the center of the city and the past take over present time
Small but great park
(Translated by Google) Wow, what beauty... hidden from view, this villa and its grounds are a marvel of nature and architecture.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful location, quite friendly staff (apart from the gentleman who takes care of the closing), the only flaw for which I give 4 stars are the opening hours of the library, which are really tight. The two upper floors adapt quite well to the type of study you want to carry out: the 1st floor is suitable for a solitary study, in absolute silence, while the second floor is more suitable for a group study in which you need to talk (always within limits dictated by the place where you are) (Original) Bellissima Location, personale abbastanza cordiale (apparte il signore che si occupa della chiusura), unico neo per cui do 4 stelle sono gli orari di apertura della biblioteca, veramente risicati.
