Beautiful beach on the edge of the town. The beach is very convenient for shopping amenities. The beach is very clean with clear water. The beach does have a small shelf on low tide. Would definitely visit again. 😍
Small and well-organized sandy beach. Music on the beach from tavernas. The water is cold (visited at the beginning of August) compared to other beaches on the other side of the island.
The beach is very clean and the place is very convenient because it is also near to the shops and restaurant.
Nice location , all services near Kardamena!
Great water - not crystal clear but still cleaner then the water in the nord’s beaches- and beautiful sand :)
Beautiful local beach in Kardamena town.
Beautiful.. a great stroll along the beach and the occasional dip in the crystal blue waters
It's a nice beach with nice restaurants. Sea is very clean and there isn't much wind and wave. Sun beds are usually priced 7-10 euro for two. Taxi is not easy to find in the center. Better to ask restaurant.

Writing this in early October but we absolutely loved the water park, for info for other people we was stopping at the portabella beach so it was free for us, the water isn't salt water which was a real good thing for us with our hotel pool been salt water no burning eyes when going down the slides lol, food and drink had yo be paid for which we didn't mind we only got drinks anyway as its a 5 min walk back to the hotel. The slides were fantastic and all of them were open but they do close in sections over dinner time. Had a fab time and if we had gone earlier in yhe week we would have spent more time there just for the non salt water pool, rubber rings for the slides weren't in abundance ill say that and I imagine in the school holidays this would even be worse but maybe they put more out I dont really know we only had to wait a few mins for one once. The kids splash park and small rides were brilliant for our 7 month old. Would recommend
Arrived at water park shortly after it opened. Staff on the ticket area welcoming and explained the park areas. Hardly anyone there so me and my family got settled and explored without any issues. Me and my wife tackled the first slide as we entered which is probably the most scariest. I managed to do all but 2 as I was probably all scared out. It is a small park but good for the area amongst the mountains. They have a swimware change box but the toilets are downstairs under the cafe area. The cafe got very busy and very slow around midday, maybe needs a system change. There is a carpark but can only fit a dozen or so vehicle's. I enjoy the lazy swim and the loungers. Good place to visit, moderate prices.
No big queues when we visited. Sunbeds included in entry. Lots of great slides and a lazy river. The cafe has a simple and reasonably priced menu.
Water park was small but well run. As it is a family environment with kids surrounding the park, it was a shame to have smoking widely accepted in all areas. It would be good to have a designated smoking area rather than a free for all Toilets weren't well signposted, they're next to the cafe downstairs, if like us you walked around the whole park trying to find them. Good was ok, well priced for a leisure park. €3.50 for a toastie and €4 for french fries The stairs to The Wave and The Bowl slides were metal and by 12pm had become molten hot, so we recommend taking flip flops up and then wrapping them around your wrist to ride the slides Lazy river wasnt too lazy with people running around it and pushing you out of the way, would've been good to have it manned and paroled to stop bad behaviour
Really good slides, much bigger slides here than the ones at the other water park especially the blue one - you won’t be disappointed . But there is limited shade, food is limited and the swimming pools are small. Oh and the changing area is one person only - a very small shed (literally). Worth a go though if you want BIG slides!
We stayed in Kardamena for two weeks, August/September 2025, and decided to take our grandkids, 9 and 6 years old to the waterpark. Since there is another waterpark, Lido, on Kos and we have been to that, we chose Aquatica this time. A great experience for both the kids and ourselves. There were seven different larger slides and a smaller section for younger kids. If you want speed and that tickling feeling in the stomach you will get it from some of the slides whilst others are more of a smooth ride. The only negative thing we experienced was when we took a short lunch break at the small restaurant. Some of the dishes like pizza and chicken nuggets is delivered from the connected hotel and should take 30 minutes to get. It ended up with hotdogs and toasts which they made themselves. Both Aquatica and Lido are nice in different aspects. Lido has a huge wave pool, which is really fun, where you also just can swim around if you need to cool down. Aquatica is squeezed into a smaller area which makes everything closer to each other and also have a larger variety of slides. On the other hand Lido's "Lazy river" is more cosy and longer. The best advice is maybe to visit them both.
Great place to spend thr day, we went with 4 adults and 3 children. The slides are fun and all except 2 of them, you need an inflatable. 2 of them are double riders only, the rest are double or single riders. You can just relax by the pools or on the lazy river. We took our own food and plenty of water, although there was signs that said you couldn't but they don't check. Fun splash park for younger children. Plenty of loungers, not overcrowded. Would recommend wearing water shoes, sandels or flip flops as the ground gets extremely hot. You can also wear them on the slides.
We had a fun time at this water park. It’s on the smaller side, but there are enough attractions to enjoy some hours of entertainment. Even though we visited on a beautiful day, the waiting times were very short, which made it easy to enjoy everything. As for the staff, we had read some mixed comments before, but our experience was the opposite: everyone we met was kind and friendly. A nice option if you’re looking for a relaxed visit without too much hustle.

Lovely little Museum with historical nautical items. Something different than all these Classic Tourist destinations and worth a visit. Located directly across the small harbour of Kardamaina.
This is a very small, free to enter, volunteer run museum. Hours are somewhat sporadic, opening a few days a week in the mornings. This changes depending on the season and how hot it is. Only 2 rooms but packed with items from the local area giving an intimate history of Kardamaina. The curator is very, friendly, helpful and informative. As it's, its only source of funds are donations, please give generously.

My daughter and I did the 2 hour Jetski Adventure and was a lot of fun. The Jetskis were in good condition, fast and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Recommended.
Nice / well prepared, employees respond very supportively when something unplanned happens
Amazing experience! We took 2 jetskis out for 15 minutes, and were amazed by the fun we had. We were bouncing over the waves so quickly the speedometer didn't even give us a reading!
Good Equipment and Employees. Thank you
Awesome staff, very helpful and very professional. Highly recommend
Fantastic choices of watersports to do here and staff really helpful and friendly especially Tonya.
Great funtube ride!
