Amazing little island! Very coazy, scenic and tranquil. We walked around the island over two days. Not even some rain could ruin the experience.
Very beautiful island, good for family, hiking, cycling, relaxing and everything
I loved this island although we didn’t had too much time to spend on it. It’s the perfect place for somebody looking to have a quiet and relaxing vacation with such a landscape. Everything is well maintained and clean.
Beautiful island located between Denmark and Sweden. From Sweden we took the ferry from Landskrona, the ride is around 30 min. There are several walking / hiking paths with breathtaking views, but it is also possible to rent a bike, the island is very cyclable. Highly recommend!
SO MUCH FUN! We rented e bikes with baskets on the front for our little ones and off we went! We spent the day biking all over the island and enjoying the museum. A couple playgrounds are there which is great for the kids to get out and play! Small cafe next to the museum is a great place to grab a cold one and grab a bite to eat!
Great day trip! I haven’t biked in a long time, but with the rental bikes it is super easy and comfy. Plus you can walk the island too! If your new to Sweden, don’t buy a transit that includes Venn, you won’t use the public transit there if your biking and this doesn’t include the ferry ticket. I would recommend you previous your bikes, just makes it easier when you get there. It’s a cute island, but make sure to pack a snack and water, as you will want something and your budget might not like the slightly hotter prices of Ven. Overall, a fantastic place to venture too, just wish I would have had more time to see it all. Also a very family friendly place. Just make sure your prepared to bike or pull a bike and kids up some of the steeper grades.
What an amazing little island. Top secret tip if you are around. Take the ferry and in 30 minutes you are in Ven. Lots of places to stay or just spend the day for biking, walking, chilling on the beach or for enjoying nature. Rent a bike and explore this beauty of nature.
When in Skåne, this is a must visit, a daytrip, a weekend, play golf, try locally produced worldclass whisky and gin, rent bikes, visit the medeival church, learn more about Tycho Brahe .. Great restaurants,, And more..

The fort looks amazing. It a great experience. The fort is open, but the buildings inside it is closed. Outside itself great to see. A very ancient one with Redstone thick walls.
The guided tour was excellent. Our guide led us through the experience with great skill and engagement, no surprise, given his background in the art of acting. Highly recommended!
Quite well maintained and clean. But there’s little to see. The main attraction is info boards about the land and what happened there during different times. Nice place to visit
I went on an adventure to Landskrona's Citadel, it's a nice place on a sunny day to go for a walk for everyone. There are many activities and places to enjoy in the area also. There is a cafe inside by the castle. further down the road there is a outdoor training grounds and a skate park by the water tower, you can lay on the sun loungers that is set up facing the ocean where you can enjoy the view of the beautiful view. Furthermore, there are several places where there is a barbecue (grilling) spots with seats. * for parents or people with kids there are a playgrounds for the little ones down by the beach. Right next to the Citadel is Kaptensgården's sculpture park which is beautiful to walk through and there are many sculptures to look at and enjoy. I fully recommend this city and place.
Nice historic place to visit. Or ofcourse for a "Fika".
Amazing castle with a lot of walking paths around it. People do fish in the water around the castle. There's also a very nice beach close to the castle!
The castle is worth a short walk. We walked arround it, and came to the main yard. It did not managed to keep its original historic buildings, but it was still fun hour spend.
It's almost look like malmö castle still beautiful. You can definitely spend few hours around citadel and the center. I would recommend to visit the museum nearby. It's a good experience and free of cost.

Very good collection of antiques and beautiful masterpieces of history. Display of many things from olden times. The museum itself a very ancient building. Old clothing, artifacts, sailor equipments, old aircraft etc etc are on display.
A fascinating visit that really highlights how important Landskrona once was, especially in defending against Danish attacks. I was genuinely surprised by the size of the museum and the depth of the collection—some tools and weapons are thousands of years old. The exhibitions are well presented and give a strong sense of the region’s historical significance. Best of all, entry was free when we visited. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
Amazing exhibition of the artefacts! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The Alfons section was so nostalgic — loved the info about the character Pappa Åberg. There’s a nice cafeteria on the first floor. Wheelchair accessible and washrooms available.
This is a truly wonderful museum! Not only are the exhibition halls impressive, but there's also a fantastic play area where kids can have a blast! Plus, it's super accessible since it's close to the bus stop. If you ever come to Landskrona, this museum is an absolute must-visit!
An insightful peek into an artist's studio, complemented with a well preserved snapshot of history and augmented with some wonderful art work. Truly nice and unique experience.
Loved the kids indoor playground. Perfect to get creative. Free of charge. Nice cheap café- can recommend.
Landskrona Museum is a hidden gem! Friendly and welcoming staff! The exhibitions are very well curated, offering a great mix of local history, art, and contemporary themes. Interactive and accessible displays, engaging for both adults and kids. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Landskrona!
Great eclectic local museum with some thought provoking collections. Maybe more for adults looking at things than children's interactive exhibits. There is a nice café too. Friendly helpful staff.

Great service (more staff came out when the queues got long). Book in advance via the website if you are arriving at a popular time or want want something different. The bikes we had were well maintained, and the tandems made even my teenager giggle.
Nice little bike shop. Roads are mixed paved and gravel. We biked the whole island. I am not exactly a light weight, there were plenty of thicker bikes to choose from. Also a nice selection of kids bikes.
Fun to bike across the island but the bikes from this place can be very poor quality. I experienced a sudden brake lock on the back wheel but luckily this was only 1 hour before I was due to leave. No real options for help across the island
Two old bikes in two hours 360kr. What a disgusting rip off. In Denmark you cam buy two old bikes for 360kr. It's too greedy......
Very satisfied. Bikes in really good condition. Comfortable seat and real good price. Just be fit beacuse there are some hills on the island😉
The price is like 180 for one bike/day similar to the price in cities but the bike itself is quite hard to ride nothing like the quality of what you can get in cities. And there are too many slope roads in the island so it was really tried to ride a bike. I strongly suggest bringing your own bike. And maybe the rental place should provide more electric bikes.
We rented bikes for the whole family and had great time for the day. The bikes were in good condition and suitable for everyone. The service is friendly and efficient.
It is a perfect possibility to hire a bike and there is no need to travel with you own! You can reant it for a day or longer- It cost around 110 SEK per day so you appraoch the booth, tell them if you need a simple bike or maybe tandem, or maybe you need a basket or something esle to your bike, so the stuff hels you there. Then they give you a key and you onlyhave to find your bike. There are hundreds of bikes that you can choose from and they are OK, even bor such a beginner as me: it is ok to adjust the height of the seat and lock it when not in use.

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay here. Staff was friendly and service was excellent. During the lunch, I received a vegan option separately because in lunch buffet was regular food choices and that was amazing.
Great distillery placed in a pretty location overlooking fields but the buffet lunch disappoints. Friendly staff. But as most places on this tiny island it’s overpriced, lunch for 3 is double the price of any basic London restaurant. No local produce or any thought have gone into the food. Simple buffet with a poor selection of dishes. At our visit they served a salmon dish and a creamy beef pasta as mains. The side salads were fridge cold, out of a pack and unimaginative. If you like school dinners you will like this lunch buffet. Coffee isn’t included.
We ate lunch at the restaurant and the food was delicious. On the pricy side compared with other restaurants on the island, but both the food quality and the service makes up for that. Restaurant accommodated a change from fried cod to grilled cod, which we very much appreciated.
One of the newest distilleries in Sweden is Spirit of Hven, located on a small island between Sweden and Denmark. You get here with a ferry from either Landskrona or Helsingborg in Sweden or from Copenhagen. The distillery is a 10 minute bus ride from the ferry or a 30 minute walk. The tour of the distillery is nice and informative, and if you are lucky you get Henrik the founder to run the tour. In addition to the tour you also get to tasye some of the products at the end. They also have good tastings covering most of their products which is worth doing. Bear in mind that yoy need to book and it is hard to get tours in English. Overall a good tour though.
There are places without a Soul, this is such a place. A lot of colorful feathers that not fulfill promises. Of the personal, there was one person that smiled and talked. After working +10 years within the restaurant business I feel safe to say: Change restaurant management. Get new one, prefereble some that know have to treat people and to choose wine to food.
Excellent Spot for a bite, a conference or a serious whisky tasting session. Friendly staff and pleasant surrounding. The public bus takes you from the harbour directly to here and back.
Terrible service! We weren't allowed to look at the menu and when I asked if they had a vegan option the waiter laughed at me. We ended up leaving the table without ordering.
Nice cottages, good beds. Breakfast was up to par. The five course dinner was quite nice, nothing exceptional but still very good

Just above the slope and within 200m you can see either Denmark or Sweden in the background. A few but nice little restaurants and gift-shops close to the harbour.
Excellent island 🏝
Great for walking and cycling and having picnics with near and dears

(Translated by Google) The church is built in neo-gothic style, it resembles a cathedral. The church was inaugurated in 1897, when it replaced an older church that was demolished in 1895, from which, among other things, the baptismal font, the Jesus statue and the large chandelier closest to the altar come from. The church was built predominantly with material from Asmundtorp's brickworks. It is a welcoming and warm church with a beautiful, loving and welcoming statue of Jesus. The statue is made in a single piece of marble.
(Translated by Google) A stunningly beautiful and incredibly well-decorated church in neo-gothic style built in red brick. The church is so magnificent that it could almost be compared to a Cathedral or Cathedral, were it not for its single tower, which nonetheless majestically stretches an impressive 66 meters up into the sky. Built as late as 1897, it, like several other churches built around this time, follows the so-called "Eslövs style". Kyrkogårde differs in many ways from most other Scanian cemeteries and somehow feels "rejuvenated". Here you see no cultural graves or small signs with the text, for example. "Returned" or "taken back" The driveway to the church is asphalted, which is also an extremely unusual sight and testifies to a not entirely harmonious modernization such as, for example, shingle. In summary, a wonderful church building that is well worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) Extremely nice church that can only be described with the word beautiful. One cannot believe that such a fine church exists here in Asmundtorp. The church was newly renovated in 1897 and before this it was an older church that had to be demolished, but the altar should probably be preserved, however, the history goes back to the 8th century. Lots of history in this place with a viking village nearby so this attraction is worth a visit. During ordinary weekdays, there is always a church warden on site who can open if it is closed or you can go to the parish center and ask for more information. Open church is available on Fridays during this time as this is written.

Initially sat down at the place next door, but we left due to excessive wait times, and decided to pop in here instead. Glad we did! The paella and gambas was better than the tourist stuff that we've had in Spain, service was quick and very nice, and there was plenty of seating.
Pleasantly surprised. Been here way back when it was under other management and cannot recall being quite this happy before. A good bang for the buck with high quality ingredients and staff that are elevating the experience through attentiveness and sheer attitude. A new go-to-destination for sure.
Very delicious, super friendly service and not long waiting time! Great! The Freshest fish, that I have ever eaten
We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Landskrona and in the evening before leaving we chose to walk to Borstahusen where Pumphuset becomes a focal point in the harbour with its special architecture and enticing and modern outdoor seating area. We hadn't booked beforehand but were still given a good table with a lovely view, and since we had our toddler with us we chose to be seated indoors- which was no compromise at all since the windows are floor-to-ceiling on we still had a gret view of Öresund, Helsingborg and Northern Borstahusen. We ordered an entrée each which came out shortly after which were both simple but very savory with distinct flavours connected to the forrest and the sea- we had Steak Tartare (Swedish style) and a plating of chanterelles cooked richly in butter and with mustard seeds. 9/10 for both dishes! We then went on to order our main courses, 1,Halibut served with fresh boleto mushrooms and a serving of cooked potatoes with garnishes, and 2, Sirloin steak ordered to rare, with s powerful 3 pepper sauce, grilled pak choi and a serving of potatoes and sliced cocktail tomatoes. 8/10 for the halibut and 9/10 for the sirloin steak.du As we were driving home to Ängelholm afterwards we only took a non alcoholic cider and a weißbier for dinner which complimented the meals nicely, and we ended the night with an espresso. Staff were friendly and checked in on us every now and then. The kitchen is visible through two large service openings and chefs seemed to be working harmoniously and efficiently without any loud discussions or faffing about. Atmosphere was also very pleasant with a dj playing low tempo music with a "chill vibe" and dimmed lighting setting focus on the lovely Scandinavian style interior design chairs and tables, as well as the stunning 270 degrees view of the harbour, Öresund, Borstahusen town houses and the "Sand Mountains" ( Sandbergen ) in the noth. Dinner for two on a Wednesday totalled 1300kr including a 15% tip. Left the restaurant just before 10 and the place was still fairly busy with what appeared to be plenty of locals hanging out and taking drinks - great to see locals taking advantage of having such a nice establishment in town. Definitely worth a visit, even for us taking a 70km drive 👌
If you enjoy fresh seafood and a nice steak do not miss this place. We recently had our third visit to this restaurant and could not find fault with anything.
Do not visit Landskrona without popping in for a healthy lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed. We weren't disappointed. The mussels we had to start were tasty and the meat for the main was nice and tender. Busy, but the food and service were up to usual excellent standard. Fantastic Atmosphere and everyone enjoyed the evening. We where supposed to just have dinner and ended up staying till closing time dancing to the great music. If you have the chance, go just before sundown, what a fabulous view over the ocean. This is my favorite spot in the south of Sweden.
Great fish & chips and mussels. Lovely setting and great service. These young girls know what hospitality means, thumbs up! Keep up the good work girls!
Went there for dinner. Accommodating staff gave us a nice table for the birthday girl. My daughter's burger and fries were a bit charred, making it taste burnt. Wife had scallops. Ok but nothing special. I had the vegetarian option and a halloumi waffle. Neither of which was anything to shout out about. A so-so experience and quite expensive
Food was ok. Burger was not great.... But the worst part is the service, we waited for more than 1!!!! hour for food. And she/they didn't care, and even asked for tips. Cannot recommend this place.

This place shows up on the Ven tourist map that they gave me at the bike rental place. I showed up at about 15:15, started walking around all by myself, and then I met the chatty (in English) and knowledgeable caretaker of the place. There's so much to see and learn about the life of farmers and industrial workers on Ven. An essential complement to the museum dedicated to the life of the feudal lord Tycho Brahe. If you rent a bike, brave the rough trails to the southern farmlands of Ven and stop by. You won't regret it!
Wonderful local place, cheap and very interesting. Very friendly and helpful people running the place!
