Visiting Ukraine for the first time and my goodness this country has some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life... Waterfall Probiy (in Yaramche) is an amazing place to be for families or couples or for honeymoon.. the view of the mountains around adds to beauty of it.. there is a sevounir market at the location..also pure honey is available to purchase here at a very low price other stuff are available to buy too.. cafes are close by and there are great hotels with mountain views.. long story short.. this place deserves more visitors.
Yaremche is the picturesque village in Ivano-Frankivsk region that attracts visitors with beautiful mountain landscapes and various natural monuments. One of them is the waterfall called “Probiy” that is located on the outskirt of this village surrounded with mountains. According to the legends, these type of mountain rock belongs to the Gothic period. Probiy starts with the river named “Prut” and then it becomes more and more majestic and ends up as 5 meter high waterfall. It is impossible to touch the waterfall, besides this try can be dangerous due to its depth - some people say it is around 30 meters. But locals built the bridge for tourists, so nature lovers can take a look and take pictures from the safe distance. Looking from the bridge, this wonder of nature looks way greater and also charms with magical sounds. There is a souvenir market, few beautiful churches, campanile and restaurant near the waterfall, where visitors can try some national dishes of this region, so all of described things create the great conditions for total relaxation and matching atmosphere. There is no certain address of waterfall’s location, but when coming to Yaremche just ask locals, and they will explain you how to reach there! Wish you to have the awesome trip!
The only touristic attraction in Yaremche. Nothing special, just simple and not big waterfall, even though locals consider it a great spot. There are two markets where you can buy stuff from Ukraine PHOTOS are edited
Beautiful waterfall. Next to this waterfall there is excellent souvenir-market. Some shops even offer possibility to pay with bank card.
Awesome Nature, saw sign for rope jumping there but it wasn't available in winter.,, It maybe abit tricky to get down to there especially in winter , but i did and people did too and made beautiful pictures Was a bit disappointed because i expected higher waterfall 🤗
Pathways aren't cleaned - everything is covered with ice in winter. You're surrounded by ice and not very pleasant drunk people. Forget about enjoying the waterfall
Beautiful place, although a bit touristy. There is a small souvenier market and some activities like bungee, zipline etc. We opted to just enjoy the nature while eating hot boiled corn cobs :)
Very nice view and you can find zip-lines to expand your experience, also the market next to it is cozy and you can find tasty sandwiches and hot wine

A good place for people who are tired of urban lifestyle. Transport is well. You can do trekking and camping there. It’s been approx 4.5 km trek while going up and 3.5 while coming down. It is 2061 meter in height making is highest mountain peak in ukraine .
I started from Vorokhta at around 12 am, cycled 21km to the starting point for blue and green route. Road gets worse and worse as you get closer. Cars were going around 10km/h last 8km. There was hundreds of people going up or resting at the top. almost everybody was going up at around 2pm when I started my climb. I took the blue line and clocked 1h 15min to the top, no rests along the way. The climb is easy but takes a lot of effort. I bought one 1,5l mineral water from the strarting point ( plenty of stalls to buy stuff from ) and it was enough. Going down was as bad as up for me.
If you’re a mountain climber, I’d definitely recommend you include Hoverla in your must-climb mountains list. Though without substantial physical training, you can suffer from strong muscle soreness for a few days after the conquest (just like me kkk), it’s 100% worth it. I’m glad I decided to join a group accompanied by a professional Hoverla guide, otherwise I might have been lost and confused several times. Going to the top took us 5.5 hours (with regular short breaks and middle speed) so for the sake of enjoying the process I’d advise starting in the morning around 8 am. We started and finished at Kozmeshchyk. Oh, and don’t forget to buy yourself a souvenir medal for getting to the top:)
Great day out. Three routes to choose from a sport centre. At the bottom small stalls selling souvenirs and refreshments. The route is steep large boulders , you need to gain over 700 m in elevation ( if approaching from The sport complex) highly recommend
Lifetime memories! Excellent) The view's are amazing and extraordinary. The hiking experience is thrilling and adventurous. Good vacation option with friends. Luckily the weather was cool and drizzling when we went. Enjoyed to the core!! 👌👍✌
Climbing Hoverla: be well prepared and don’t give up — just be ready to walk up and down for a total of 5-6 hours. The views are worth it! Zaroslyak is the starting point where the climb begins. Biggest disappointment was the road: the last 10 km to Zaroslyak is in terrible condition. It took us about 1 hour to drive these 10 km. Be patient and drive carefully.
Unbelievable emotions, guys! There are a lot of beautiful landscapes around so you will spend a lot of time there to make a lot of photos. Recommend to make a camp for some days. But reaching the peak was very hard and long. Take sweatshirt with you, it is so cold on the top
Brilliant hike up the highest point in Ukraine. Not a small home, but easily doable in trainers doing summers. Small feat for mountaineers, but worth the trip as outstanding views on the Ukrainian and Romanian Carpathians

One-stage handsome, a walk to which can be a great option for both winter days and summer. Don't hide your camera in a backpack: all around are fabulous landscapes of the Gorgany mountains, a straight and mostly asphalt road along the picturesque Reaper stream with rocky ledges and high spruces above the water! There are a lot of sounds in the Carpathians. But Zhenetsky Hook is the most famous among tourists. Still: there is a direct road to it - 3 km of flat asphalt.wrll it was quite beautiful experience ,so beautiful place must visit place
You have to pay fee 80 uah for adults and 40 uah for childrens before entering the that area 6 km walk from main road So much people are there on weekends . You can even go by car upto 1km near to waterfall . Its worth going there . You can buy food in between way or after reaching the waterfall there is a small market or 5-6 shops .
Totally worth long walk)) you can take a Jeep taxi if you like. The road is a little bit crashed after spring water flood.
About 15 uah per person to walk up on foot almost 6 km, 30 uah per person to drive up wich is what we did and I recommend driving or walk up a muddy road, as for the water fall nothing crazy to see to be honest but I guess for Ukraine this is pretty epic for them
In terms of trail to it - Narinetskiy waterfall is more picturesque. There are some pieces of advice re this one. 1) Come late. I was there at around 20:30 and there was no one at the spot. 2 people came when we left. During the day it may be overcrowded, road full of cars, off-road cars - which makes walking even worse. When you come lates, there is a chance to see a nice sunset. 2) Getting there by a 4x4 car driven by locals - kind of taxi - can be also a good option. Because the road is boring in summer. 3) You can even get by your car - we stopped our next to Kolyba and walked the rest 1.5 km to the waterfall.
Very beautiful place where you I to come back again. It is connected to the highway by a 4 km unpaved road. Several pits through which cars with a clearance less than 20 cm are unlikely can pass (my opinion)
Very beautiful waterfall, especially in winter, when you can see a huge amount of ice hanging above you, and beautiful views around. You can walk of go down on the car from the main road, but it worth walking to enjoy picturesque views around.
Nice place. The better way to get there - by car. You can drive until small souvenirs market and waterfall is about 200 m from there. Also there is a zip-line, not very thrilling one, but quite good.

Nice nature, quite easy and clean route, despite quite numerous tourists. Circle takes ~2hours with kids 7 and 9 years old and stops to eat blueberries. If you are more into hiking - you can go up to Makovytsya mountain. Show circle is signposted, visitors are given a map. Civilization. Take shoes - there are roots, stones. But there were people in sandals - OK for the dry weather.
breathtaking nature and bad government just don't simply match in this country, God blessed Ukraine with such piece of heaven on earth; make accessible well-maintained roads, a decent parking lots, walking trails inside, garbage places , you wonna enter Europe union be like Europe with its responsible tourism sectors.... national parks just a disaster in this country....
Be careful with wrong way! If you missed the right turn - you get 8km road instead of 2.5km. toilets a bit annoying. The road is totally great! TIP: you SHOULD rise to the Makovitsa mountain
Easy and beautiful trail. It is about two kilometers from Yaremce and easily can be reached on foot.
No words! Just look at this photos. It's really beautiful place. It's worth it
Locals say that in one of the caves in the area Dovbush hid gold and has not yet been found
Great place . Try to get there when there is no rain.
Truly awesome. Nature is amazing. Only imagine how cool opryshky were to know all those routes and paths 200 years ago. No markers and no pointers. Enjoy the walk.

A large stone arched railway bridge- Viaduct of Austrian times connects two banks of the river Prut. Under it passes the highway Yaremche-Verkhovyna. The bridge was built in 1895 in the construction of the railway Stanislav (Ivano-Frankivsk) - Yaremcha - Vorokhta - Rakhiv. The length of the bridge exceeds 100 m. It is not in use anymore.
Nice and beautiful old bridge. You can easily climb and have a walk high above the ground and the Prut river.
Great place where old tradition meets the new one.
Very interesting architecture and it is easy to get there. It is very close to good road
Viaduct is in very good condition. The size is huge.
Beautiful historical place, recomend to visit

Еvery time I am amazed at how beautiful Ukraine is. I wish all visitors to enjoy the holiday and take care of our nature💚
With the new roads that were built, it's now possible to visit this wonder of nature, which is definitely worth seeing. A bit more expensive for Ukrainians but quite cheap for other tourists.
Best place for treking beginners who don't want to spend night, U can easily asend and desend within a day. The top view is breath taking and aslo a nice place to confess ur love or propose to someone. It might train frequently , its recommended to take a raincoat with you. No need to worry at all even 12 yr old kids do it , climb and desend ar your own pace.
Wonderful place with amazing landscapes. The experience visiting the park may be even better with an experienced guide. Also, there are some historical places. In summer, you can taste cool cheese and have local drinks.
One of the best places to visit in Ukraine. There is the highest mountain of Ukraine- Hoverla, 2061 m. Although be careful because it's easy to lose the marking on the way up and down, it's safer to have a local guide with you.
Absolutely beautiful park! It has been kept clean and well maintained. The basecamp and trail to the top of the mountain has plenty of good food and equipment. Make sure to pay the few pennies it cost to get a raincoat! The weather changes from sunny to pouring within minutes!
Trash everywhere, through the way to the highest peak of Ukraine. Pathetic. But the nature is amazing and the trail up is quite easy.
Visited Hoverla on Independence day with parents and my girlfriend. An easy track, however there were lots of people on this day.

Nesamovyte - is the highest mountain lake in Ivano-Frankivsk region and one of the highest mountain lakes in Ukrainian Carpathians. Situated within the Carpathian National Park, in a glacier cirque on the northeast slope of Turkul Mountain, at an altitude of 1750 meters above the sea level.well it was my first time and view were beautiful mountain lake. The hike is hard on the last few kilometres but it’s totally worth it! When you will go there don’t forget to take raincoat and good boots.
I’ve been there twice! And just this time I was lucky enough to see this beautiful mountain lake. The hike is hard on the last few kilometres but it’s totally worth it! When you will go there don’t forget to take raincoat and good boots
20km - 2 ways, worth of every step, be careful when u climb the rocky slope to the top, between trees there is a small swamp. On the way fields of raspberries and blueberries, multiple streams of clean and cold water. We were happy and blessed to climb and reach this place. Plz note ur trip will take 3hrs going and same for return excluding breaks. Location: on the north-eastern slopes of the Turkul Mountain at the height of 1750m.
Amazing place, although we didn't get a glimpse of the lake in thick fog. Who the hell has put a mirror on the mile marker pole in the middle of nowhere? :) Girls do like it.

Cute little place. Only takes a couple of moments, but if you’re in the area it’s fun. Enjoyed sitting on the creek bank and just enjoying nature. There’s a fresh spring if you’re thirsty, also.
Make sure to check it out! It’s very small, but so so great!
It’s not great. But if you live near it then you can visit.
Small and cozy museum. Glad to see lots of familiar places, we just visited)

We saw an advertisement for this brewery and restaurant on Facebook. Today we came specifically from Ivano-Frankivsk to this brewery to try the beer. We love beer and are very critical of beer taste. We were there at lunch time and decided to visit the restaurant to eat something and drink beer. The restaurant is very nice and the small hall with the view of the snow-capped mountains is fantastic. We ordered marinated porcini mushrooms, pork ribs with honey marinade and "Shafran" beer. The waitress was very friendly and gave us very good advice. The food was very tastey. The beer was excellent and we enjoyed it very much. Because the beer was so good, we bought some more beer in the shop to take home. We can highly recommend this brewery and the restaurant. We will come again.

(Translated by Google) There are no questions about the work of the staff of the institution, they are friendly people who know their business - a big thank you for that!!!!! Having been recovering here for not the first year, I see that the conditions of staying in the sanatorium are getting worse every year. This also applies to the impoverished ration in the canteen. and the furniture living up to its age in most of the rooms (there are even armored beds), and regular supply of hot water!!!!! The issue of hot water was shocking in general!!! there are two of them a week and there is water for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening, in my opinion, this is unacceptable. Maybe someone will say that this is a matter of insufficient funding, or name some other reasons for such a methodical decline, but it seems to me that the main issue in this situation to the head of the institution and his economic qualities, which in turn cannot withstand any criticism. And there is also an opinion, at the level of gossip, that they want to bring the sanatorium "up to scratch" and hand it over to private business.
(Translated by Google) I am coming here for the second time and first of all for the sake of nature, because it is incredible here 😍 but the sanatorium itself pleases only with the staff, who are friendly and humane, but I can't say anything good about the living conditions, unfortunately.. nowhere is it normal to neither wash nor go in the toilet, the walls and ceiling in some rooms are crumbling, they could at least paint the floor.. The bedside tables in the rooms are generally falling apart in the literal sense of the word.. they feed normally normally, nothing special, but you can get better on this food too, if you want) Doctors good, at least the ones I met, you can make many interesting acquaintances, but because of the conditions, I want to return here less and less..

You come there for impressions and emotions. The air is just what you need for tubal patients, I even quit smoking there. If you read the reviews, they are all so decent, people take the money and go rent luxury rooms for 500 grams. They gave you a ticket for free, but you are still indignant.

Nice views, you can see even Hoverla from some points
The mountain is beautiful and the sightseeing is marvelous. We got a lot of positive impressions and did a lot of photos. But the cafe “Shinok” is a dirty place with a terrible cooking and bad hand-made alcohol. After visiting this cafe I got food poisoning and a “cool night” as well. The prices are higher than restaurants and food is mediocre. Also they give you very old dirty cutlery. So if you plan to visit the Makovitsa mountain (especially with your kids), do not go to that cafe. If you go by your feet it will be good to order walking sticks before.
Good view and good location. Pretty easy to hike. You can also take kids for this walk))
Easy to hike, the last meters to the top is slightly harder. But it's definitely worth it!
Beautiful view 😍 my family really enjoyed our small weekend trip 😊
Great view of Yaremche. Last 100 meters it’s not easy to get 🥵
Pure carpathian beauty, and pretty easy to climb to.the top
Nice and easy hill. You can reach the top in an hour and a half. It takes 45 minutes to get down. The views are ok, there's a restaurant on the top. The trail is marked all the way.

The adventure of riding 4-wheel cars on very rough steep roads is amazing but the sceneries are not that good!
Really a lot of berries: blueberry, wild strawberry, wild raspberry. Nice nature and views. Worth seeing
Great for climbing
(Translated by Google) Great route, gentle ascent. It's quite picturesque, but you constantly have to dodge the stream of motorcycles and jeeps that blatantly honk at you from all sides. Such actions of people and irresponsible attitude towards nature were very saddened.

Nearby is a meadow with a swing and a cheese factory. We descended the path in a straight line to Tatariv (not the best choice).
(Translated by Google) I read a lot of comments that jeeps interfere and it is impossible to go. And all because before the hike you need to study a little information and routes) We went up on May 4, 2025. With children 10, 9 and 5.5 years old. Red route from Mykulychyna. He passes through the forest all the time. Don't take the yellow jeep route and don't spoil your trip. The starting point is a small store "Zlatogora" (Mykulychyn). Enter Google Maps and go to this store. You can park two cars near it, but there is an unfinished hotel nearby, so you can park near it. Go around the shop and follow the road leading into the forest. You will pass a barrier on which it is written "passage is prohibited" (you can go). Marking on the trees will start after about 15 minutes of walking. About 30 minutes later, there will be a spring with water. It is impossible to get lost there, the wide road was probably once driven by jeeps. The first hour will be an elevation gain, don't be afraid, it won't be like that all the time. After the climb, there will be a flat path, even with a descent in some places. We did not see more sources, but I read that there should be more, probably you need to go somewhere to the side, but there are no "Source" marks. We started at 12:05 - climbed the mountain at 14:30. We stopped three times for a few minutes to drink water. The climb is not difficult, but remember that there are no easy hikes! There are different levels of complexity). A girl who is 5.5 was walking for the first time, she had no difficulties. Very satisfied. We walked in windy weather, but since the entire road was through the forest, the wind was not felt at all.
(Translated by Google) Impressions from Mount Yagodna Despite the fact that this year the blueberries have almost all frozen, Mount Yagodna left only positive emotions. The place is truly magical - and you can climb it in two interesting ways: 1. ATV This is a real extreme option for those who love driving. The road takes about 2 hours. If you are planning to ride somewhere on a trip - this is a top location! Spectacular, fast and you definitely will not regret it. 2. Hiking (on foot) We climbed as a group of three people, including a child, and the entire route took about 6 hours (there and back). It was an easy march-tour, the level is "beginner", so you can safely go with your family. We started from the village of Mykulychyn. Many pleasant things awaited us along the way: 🍄 picked some mushrooms 🍇 ate blueberries and raspberries 💧 drank cold spring water The journey itself was soulful, leisurely, and filled with natural little things that truly delight. 2. (Translated by Google) I don't understand one thing, why do all naked people swim there?) And yes, Maricheyka is a high mountain lake in the Ukrainian Carpathians, in the Chornohora massif, within the Verkhovyna district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The nearest settlement is the village of Yavirnyk. On the eastern outskirts of Montenegro, in the large cirque of the northeastern slope of the Shuryn-Gropa mountain, there is another fairly large lake with the poetic name Maricheyka. Maricheyka is of glacial origin. It lies at an altitude of 1,510 meters above sea level and, unlike the others, is surrounded by an amazing spruce forest and thickets of mountain pine surrounding the water surface. Its small bath is elongated in the meridional direction and is overgrown with sedge on all sides, especially from the south and north. The area of the free water mirror is more than 10,000 square meters, but the depth does not exceed 0.8 meters. Through a thin layer of clear, clear water, the flat muddy bottom is clearly visible. From the northeast, the lake is surrounded by an arc cut by the channel of a full-water stream, which flows out of the lake and goes along a steep slope overgrown with a dense spruce forest into the deep valley of the Pogorilets River. Water enters the lake from numerous springs at the foot of the southwestern slope, covered with huge blocks of rock. In the past, Maricheyka was obviously a somewhat larger and deeper lake. The progressive decrease in the depth level is caused by stream erosion.
