Yaremche is the picturesque village in Ivano-Frankivsk region that attracts visitors with beautiful mountain landscapes and various natural monuments. One of them is the waterfall called “Probiy” that is located on the outskirt of this village surrounded with mountains. According to the legends, these type of mountain rock belongs to the Gothic period. Probiy starts with the river named “Prut” and then it becomes more and more majestic and ends up as 5 meter high waterfall. It is impossible to touch the waterfall, besides this try can be dangerous due to its depth - some people say it is around 30 meters. But locals built the bridge for tourists, so nature lovers can take a look and take pictures from the safe distance. Looking from the bridge, this wonder of nature looks way greater and also charms with magical sounds. There is a souvenir market, few beautiful churches, campanile and restaurant near the waterfall, where visitors can try some national dishes of this region, so all of described things create the great conditions for total relaxation and matching atmosphere. There is no certain address of waterfall’s location, but when coming to Yaremche just ask locals, and they will explain you how to reach there! Wish you to have the awesome trip!
Ankush T — Google review
The only touristic attraction in Yaremche. Nothing special, just simple and not big waterfall, even though locals consider it a great spot. There are two markets where you can buy stuff from Ukraine PHOTOS are edited
Danu N — Google review
Beautiful waterfall. Next to this waterfall there is excellent souvenir-market. Some shops even offer possibility to pay with bank card.
Liubov B — Google review
Awesome Nature, saw sign for rope jumping there but it wasn't available in winter.,, It maybe abit tricky to get down to there especially in winter , but i did and people did too and made beautiful pictures Was a bit disappointed because i expected higher waterfall 🤗
Mohamed S — Google review
Pathways aren't cleaned - everything is covered with ice in winter. You're surrounded by ice and not very pleasant drunk people. Forget about enjoying the waterfall
Nastasia F — Google review
Beautiful place, although a bit touristy. There is a small souvenier market and some activities like bungee, zipline etc. We opted to just enjoy the nature while eating hot boiled corn cobs :)
Amal A — Google review
Very nice view and you can find zip-lines to expand your experience, also the market next to it is cozy and you can find tasty sandwiches and hot wine

Dovbush's Rock is a picturesque area characterized by towering, volcanic rock formations that can be explored via well-marked trails winding through protected forest. The natural beauty of the surroundings is complemented by the ease and cleanliness of the route, despite its popularity among tourists. With an approximate duration of two hours, this circular trail is suitable for families with children aged 7 and 9, who can also enjoy stops to indulge in delicious blueberries.
Nice nature, quite easy and clean route, despite quite numerous tourists. Circle takes ~2hours with kids 7 and 9 years old and stops to eat blueberries. If you are more into hiking - you can go up to Makovytsya mountain. Show circle is signposted, visitors are given a map. Civilization. Take shoes - there are roots, stones. But there were people in sandals - OK for the dry weather.

breathtaking nature and bad government just don't simply match in this country, God blessed Ukraine with such piece of heaven on earth; make accessible well-maintained roads, a decent parking lots, walking trails inside, garbage places , you wonna enter Europe union be like Europe with its responsible tourism sectors.... national parks just a disaster in this country....
Suzan S — Google review
Be careful with wrong way! If you missed the right turn - you get 8km road instead of 2.5km. toilets a bit annoying. The road is totally great! TIP: you SHOULD rise to the Makovitsa mountain

Cascade reachable by a long trek along the Zhenetz River & through dense woodland.
One-stage handsome, a walk to which can be a great option for both winter days and summer. Don't hide your camera in a backpack: all around are fabulous landscapes of the Gorgany mountains, a straight and mostly asphalt road along the picturesque Reaper stream with rocky ledges and high spruces above the water! There are a lot of sounds in the Carpathians. But Zhenetsky Hook is the most famous among tourists. Still: there is a direct road to it - 3 km of flat asphalt.wrll it was quite beautiful experience ,so beautiful place must visit place

You have to pay fee 80 uah for adults and 40 uah for childrens before entering the that area 6 km walk from main road So much people are there on weekends . You can even go by car upto 1km near to waterfall . Its worth going there . You can buy food in between way or after reaching the waterfall there is a small market or 5-6 shops .
StuB_Born — Google review
Totally worth long walk)) you can take a Jeep taxi if you like. The road is a little bit crashed after spring water flood.
Maksym L — Google review
About 15 uah per person to walk up on foot almost 6 km, 30 uah per person to drive up wich is what we did and I recommend driving or walk up a muddy road, as for the water fall nothing crazy to see to be honest but I guess for Ukraine this is pretty epic for them

In terms of trail to it - Narinetskiy waterfall is more picturesque. There are some pieces of advice re this one. 1) Come late. I was there at around 20:30 and there was no one at the spot. 2 people came when we left. During the day it may be overcrowded, road full of cars, off-road cars - which makes walking even worse. When you come lates, there is a chance to see a nice sunset. 2) Getting there by a 4x4 car driven by locals - kind of taxi - can be also a good option. Because the road is boring in summer. 3) You can even get by your car - we stopped our next to Kolyba and walked the rest 1.5 km to the waterfall.
Oleg S — Google review
Very beautiful place where you I to come back again. It is connected to the highway by a 4 km unpaved road. Several pits through which cars with a clearance less than 20 cm are unlikely can pass (my opinion)
Alex M — Google review
Very beautiful waterfall, especially in winter, when you can see a huge amount of ice hanging above you, and beautiful views around. You can walk of go down on the car from the main road, but it worth walking to enjoy picturesque views around.
Alyona D — Google review
Nice place. The better way to get there - by car. You can drive until small souvenirs market and waterfall is about 200 m from there. Also there is a zip-line, not very thrilling one, but quite good.

With the new roads that were built, it's now possible to visit this wonder of nature, which is definitely worth seeing. A bit more expensive for Ukrainians but quite cheap for other tourists.

Best place for treking beginners who don't want to spend night, U can easily asend and desend within a day. The top view is breath taking and aslo a nice place to confess ur love or propose to someone. It might train frequently , its recommended to take a raincoat with you. No need to worry at all even 12 yr old kids do it , climb and desend ar your own pace.

Wonderful place with amazing landscapes. The experience visiting the park may be even better with an experienced guide. Also, there are some historical places. In summer, you can taste cool cheese and have local drinks.

One of the best places to visit in Ukraine. There is the highest mountain of Ukraine- Hoverla, 2061 m. Although be careful because it's easy to lose the marking on the way up and down, it's safer to have a local guide with you.

Absolutely beautiful park! It has been kept clean and well maintained. The basecamp and trail to the top of the mountain has plenty of good food and equipment. Make sure to pay the few pennies it cost to get a raincoat! The weather changes from sunny to pouring within minutes!

Hoverla, the highest peak in Ukraine at 6,762 feet, is a popular destination for hikers. The mountain offers panoramic views and can be accessed via 6km or 12km trails. The hiking trail is relatively easy, suitable for beginners. However, it can be busy with tourists on weekends and holidays. There are marked paths of varying difficulty levels to reach the summit. Climbing Hoverla is recommended for mountain enthusiasts but may cause muscle soreness without proper training.
A good place for people who are tired of urban lifestyle. Transport is well. You can do trekking and camping there. It’s been approx 4.5 km trek while going up and 3.5 while coming down. It is 2061 meter in height making is highest mountain peak in ukraine .

A fun climb in great scenery. Hundreds of day trippers on the main trail up from Zarosliak, but the other trials were much quieter and there were only a handful of people camping.
Daniel C — Google review
I started from Vorokhta at around 12 am, cycled 21km to the starting point for blue and green route. Road gets worse and worse as you get closer. Cars were going around 10km/h last 8km. There was hundreds of people going up or resting at the top. almost everybody was going up at around 2pm when I started my climb. I took the blue line and clocked 1h 15min to the top, no rests along the way. The climb is easy but takes a lot of effort. I bought one 1,5l mineral water from the strarting point ( plenty of stalls to buy stuff from ) and it was enough. Going down was as bad as up for me.
Teemu T — Google review
If you’re a mountain climber, I’d definitely recommend you include Hoverla in your must-climb mountains list. Though without substantial physical training, you can suffer from strong muscle soreness for a few days after the conquest (just like me kkk), it’s 100% worth it. I’m glad I decided to join a group accompanied by a professional Hoverla guide, otherwise I might have been lost and confused several times. Going to the top took us 5.5 hours (with regular short breaks and middle speed) so for the sake of enjoying the process I’d advise starting in the morning around 8 am. We started and finished at Kozmeshchyk. Oh, and don’t forget to buy yourself a souvenir medal for getting to the top:)
Zarina S — Google review
Great day out. Three routes to choose from a sport centre. At the bottom small stalls selling souvenirs and refreshments. The route is steep large boulders , you need to gain over 700 m in elevation ( if approaching from The sport complex) highly recommend

Lifetime memories! Excellent) The view's are amazing and extraordinary. The hiking experience is thrilling and adventurous. Good vacation option with friends. Luckily the weather was cool and drizzling when we went. Enjoyed to the core!! 👌👍✌
Haswanth — Google review
Climbing Hoverla: be well prepared and don’t give up — just be ready to walk up and down for a total of 5-6 hours. The views are worth it! Zaroslyak is the starting point where the climb begins. Biggest disappointment was the road: the last 10 km to Zaroslyak is in terrible condition. It took us about 1 hour to drive these 10 km. Be patient and drive carefully.
Agris R — Google review
Unbelievable emotions, guys! There are a lot of beautiful landscapes around so you will spend a lot of time there to make a lot of photos. Recommend to make a camp for some days. But reaching the peak was very hard and long. Take sweatshirt with you, it is so cold on the top

Restaurant
Restoran "Hutsulʹshchyna" is a charming eatery that beautifully captures the essence of Hutsul culture with its vibrant decor and Ukrainian music. Visitors have noted the friendly and attentive staff, making for a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes at affordable prices, although some items, like the steak on the children's menu, could use improvement in tenderness. Cleanliness is an area for enhancement as well.
Amazing fast food section, a branch of the restaurant just to the right of main entrance.

the only beautiful thing is the design of the wooden building inside the nature, I noticed that ukranians have no hospitality like other nations, they need to learn the art of food and hospitality in their restaurants, the portions small, no spices, the best restaurants in ukraine owned by other nationalities ....

When I first entered, I thought that the cuisine would not be tasty, but I decided to try it because I was bribed by the interior of the establishment! And was surprised the second time! All the dishes that were served to us were really tasty! Even my little daughter ate everything) Undoubtedly, the place is worth visiting at least once! By the way, this institution is a cultural monument! I recommend!!! (Translated by Google) In other words, there is no service. The waitress girl is probably the only good thing here. When we entered, no one even approached, they looked at us and did not say anything, it is quite dirty (especially the terrace), the waiters have to be caught to order. As for the dishes, they are quite tasty, and the interior design is very good (although it has seen better days) But the general impression remained negative. I do not recommend.

(Translated by Google) We were lucky, the service was polite, there were almost no customers in the establishment, so we didn't have to wait long, but the waiter looked tired, probably more staff is needed. The dishes were tasty, but the steak on the children's menu was tough. Prices are affordable. Cleanliness, I would like better. But overall I liked it. The place is colorful and conveniently located, but the management needs to work on some details.

Nestled in a picturesque setting, Hotel Rubel offers warm accommodations with stunning mountain views, making it an ideal retreat for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. Guests can indulge in delightful European and Ukrainian cuisine at the on-site Alpiysky and Rubel restaurants, where the culinary creations are sure to impress. The hotel features a spacious heated outdoor pool, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
It's a great hotel with an outdoor pool, so you can combine beach activities with mountain activities, which is a great choice for summer. The hotel is quite new, so everything in the rooms is working properly. Stuff is really great and helpful which you can't find often in Ukraine. The restaurant is also very good. It serves European cuisine. The menu is not large, but everything tastes quite good. City center is not far.

Overall, a very good experience. The folks working there were helpful and personable, willing to make various accommodations for our large party of five, including two children. The hotel was clean, the pool was fairly large and also clean. The restaurant was nice, food was fresh and yummy, prices above average for the area. Interesting restaurant decor, it made for a pleasant ambiance. Service can be slow at dinner time, so give yourself ample time to settle. There is a ping pong table just outside the front door, which helped a lot when we were waiting for food to arrive. My main complaint is the lack of a fridge in the room. Traveling with children is difficult enough because they are picky eaters and often times don't want to eat when it's eating time. It would have been very helpful to store leftovers in the fridge and offer them when the kids got hungry. The shower did not have a curtain (it's a tub with an optional shower head), but that's a pretty minor thing.

The restaurant itself is very nice, has two floors, a summer area, a lot of decor in hunting style.

Restaurant
If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Cufer. Nestled in a picturesque location, this restaurant offers an impressive array of dishes that celebrate the rich culinary traditions of the Carpathians. From their mouthwatering mushroom specialties to hearty local favorites like banosh and bograch, every bite is a testament to quality and flavor. The service is notably swift; even during busy times, drinks arrive promptly followed by your meal in no time at all.
Probably the best place I've ever visited during my vacation. Everything is beautiful, tasty, pleasant. The portions are large, can be shared by two, the price is about 1/3 of the Kyiv price...., price-quality. Service at the level

We are delighted. Simply the best. Just returned from restaurant Cufer. Wonderful cuisine, including such famous Carpatian dishes as well as banosh, budz, bograch, and another authentic local food, frendness staff, service, reasonable prices. Thank you, Cufer. You made our holyday Sunday. We'll be back. Take your advantage!

Nice place. No english menu but our waiter Pavel, do the best to serve us. The food is not exactly what we expected, but we enjoyed. Cufer is a good choice in the zone ;)

The best Trout I ever ate. Maybe a little bit overpriced but high quality (320UAH). Solianka was not the bast I ever ate but this could be matter of taste and local version.

Very good food and fast cooking. We stopped at the restaurant when it had just begun to rain, and the restaurant was full. Surprisingly, drinks were served almost immediately, the first course was served after 15 minutes, and after another 15 minutes, we already had everything we ordered. What can be considered an excellent case for a roadside restaurant. As for the food, everything was delicious and especially the mushroom dishes, from marinated porcini mushrooms to mushroom cream soup. My wife, a great mushroom connoisseur, demanded that we would definitely stop here again on the next trip, and the children supported her, and I also agreed.

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Yahidna Mountain. Not quite as popular as Waterfall Probiy, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

A large stone arched railway bridge- Viaduct of Austrian times connects two banks of the river Prut. Under it passes the highway Yaremche-Verkhovyna. The bridge was built in 1895 in the construction of the railway Stanislav (Ivano-Frankivsk) - Yaremcha - Vorokhta - Rakhiv. The length of the bridge exceeds 100 m. It is not in use anymore.

Ski & Snowboard Areas
Nestled in the charming village of Vorokhta, Avanhard offers a unique blend of rustic charm and natural beauty. Visitors can experience the enchanting winter landscape, complete with snow-covered hills and a functioning lift that transports adventurers up to stunning views. While the lift may show signs of age with its rusty rafters, it still operates daily from morning until early afternoon. The journey rewards you with breathtaking scenery as you descend through lush fern thickets and mushrooms along the way.
This is a great place to relax and spend time with your family. Not the last thing is a comfortable place to stay on night and move to Zaroslyak next morning.

The old lift has rusty rafters and crumbling walls, but it still works from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. But when you get up there it's incredibly beautiful! We walked down and reached the stream, there were fern thickets and mushrooms along the way. In general, I recommend it.

(Translated by Google) I really want this place to flourish! We settled at the Avangard sports base, we were greeted by the administrator Galina, a wonderful woman, who booked in advance indicating a specific room (junior suite). Upon arrival, the room was clean, the bedding was fresh, the room was warm and had a beautiful view. The only thing was that when leaving the room into the corridor, there were unpleasant smells from the shared bathroom and dining room, but I think this is due to the old age of the building. Slides: one for beginners, the second for more experienced ones, 2 lifts, at the ticket office you could pay by bank transfer - transfer using the details to the card. We took advantage of the help of the instructor - Zinovy is our savior. It was our first time on the road and, thanks to him, we went. Explains and shows everything to the point, without unnecessary information! Costs 600 UAH per hour +200 UAH for each additional person. And ski rental + helmet 200 UAH per day, passport as collateral. They work from 9.00 to 17.00. Children and teenagers trained on the trampolines every day and it was deplorable to see the state of these trampolines, I was scared to approach them, and they risk their lives every day. In general, the nature there is beautiful, for those who want to be away from the center and noise, I recommend a recreation center. The price is excellent! We had a junior suite for 650 per night. Quiet, calm, balcony and nature! And we went to the store in the center, it’s a 15-minute walk, a great workout, after all, we came to relax!

(Translated by Google) We lived here more than once during sports training camps, so I can share my review. The base itself is located in a good location, right at the entrance to Vorokhta, this is both a plus and a minus. Because how many times have we been, if there is not a large enough group in the hotel, then it is unlikely that you will be able to eat in the dining room (they cook only for large quantities), in the end you will be forced to go to the same center to eat, which is not very close, especially if there is a lot of snow. The same situation with heating, which was wildly infuriating, a large group left, you can forget about warm rooms during the day, you sit covered in frost. If you choose a “standard” room, the shower is also in a “tired” state, to put it mildly, and the same story with the restroom. Many people write that the hotel is from the times of the USSR, but I don’t quite agree. The hotel itself is even more or less, but here is the base, yes! Completely from those times and wouldn’t mind updating it. Another interesting story is with the “bazaar” and its visitors, who enter the territory of the base and every day, together with tourists going to the ski lift, they create considerable noise, perhaps this will cause discomfort to someone. In general, if it’s just fine as an overnight stay in the summer, otherwise there are plenty of other better options in most aspects, especially in the main one - accommodation!

(Translated by Google) I give it a 5 at least because they were able to somehow save this place. I've been here several times - in winter - it's wonderful romance and snow. The lift worked properly and lifted tourists up the mountain - closer to the springboard. The top of the Springboard is not as romantic as the view from below - these are reinforced concrete structures and wooden fixtures on them - stairs and other transverse fasteners. You have to understand that over the years the tree rots and turns into dust. 1) It is imperative to use not just wood and boards, but ones impregnated with anti-fungal and water-repellent solutions. What is the advantage of rising to the top? There the panorama of mountainous terrain and nature opens up - in full view. And we must remember - this beauty is real, not painted. Mountain air with phytoncides against many pulmonary diseases is also real. Today we still look and enjoy all these beauties. And we must do at least something for the future generation - leave as a legacy the mountains, the air, the pine trees, the springboard, and the love of sports. I liked the rigor of the coach - once. Nearby, on the left behind the trees, there is a teenage springboard. I thought, I wish I could get off it. The coach then worked with children aged 9-11 and he said that children here train almost from the age of 5 and become champions even at 11 years old. He didn't allow it - thank you. That's how it is!

(Translated by Google) All the legacy of the USSR. The rooms are not bad, the food is good. The staff is friendly. There are ski lifts and a ski jump track nearby. The infrastructure of the sports base is of course in a deplorable state. It's bitter even to look at all this. Such power and in such an abandoned state. I would really like it all to be restored. The locals only hope for the Olympics if they want to hold them here (the authorities seemed to want to). There is a good souvenir and general market at the bottom of the complex. By the way, the prices are cheaper than in Yaremche, we checked. In general, average-above average. I really want to believe that everything here will be put in order.

Yahidna Mountain, located near Tatariv, offers incredible views and an interesting walk. Visitors can enjoy a coffee shop on the mountain, a large swing for photos, and the opportunity to taste and buy various types of local cheeses made in a small cheese factory. The mountain is accessible to people of all ages, including those with disabilities, thanks to the well-traveled trails that allow for renting jeeps, buggies or quads.

(Translated by Google) I read a lot of comments that jeeps interfere and it is impossible to go. And all because before the hike you need to study a little information and routes) We went up on May 4, 2025. With children 10, 9 and 5.5 years old. Red route from Mykulychyna. He passes through the forest all the time. Don't take the yellow jeep route and don't spoil your trip. The starting point is a small store "Zlatogora" (Mykulychyn). Enter Google Maps and go to this store. You can park two cars near it, but there is an unfinished hotel nearby, so you can park near it. Go around the shop and follow the road leading into the forest. You will pass a barrier on which it is written "passage is prohibited" (you can go). Marking on the trees will start after about 15 minutes of walking. About 30 minutes later, there will be a spring with water. It is impossible to get lost there, the wide road was probably once driven by jeeps. The first hour will be an elevation gain, don't be afraid, it won't be like that all the time. After the climb, there will be a flat path, even with a descent in some places. We did not see more sources, but I read that there should be more, probably you need to go somewhere to the side, but there are no "Source" marks. We started at 12:05 - climbed the mountain at 14:30. We stopped three times for a few minutes to drink water. The climb is not difficult, but remember that there are no easy hikes! There are different levels of complexity). A girl who is 5.5 was walking for the first time, she had no difficulties. Very satisfied. We walked in windy weather, but since the entire road was through the forest, the wind was not felt at all.

(Translated by Google) Impressions from Mount Yagodna Despite the fact that this year the blueberries have almost all frozen, Mount Yagodna left only positive emotions. The place is truly magical - and you can climb it in two interesting ways: 1. ATV This is a real extreme option for those who love driving. The road takes about 2 hours. If you are planning to ride somewhere on a trip - this is a top location! Spectacular, fast and you definitely will not regret it. 2. Hiking (on foot) We climbed as a group of three people, including a child, and the entire route took about 6 hours (there and back). It was an easy march-tour, the level is "beginner", so you can safely go with your family. We started from the village of Mykulychyn. It is free for now, but I would not mind paying 50-100 UAH to make it comfortable, safe, and clean (there is a lot of garbage around). Opposite is some kind of cafe or hotel that turns on the music so that the neighboring village can hear it. This is disrespectful to people who came to observe nature. We were told that one of the best places for Ukrainian traditional food around the nearby villages. We tried many dishes and everything was superb. Highly recommend to book a table in advance in their closed terrace (much nicer than the tables inside the building) - it has the fireplace and local traditional decor. Great service. And try to find out when they will have local music - the guys create a great fun and happy atmosphere (careful, some might consider that though to be loud). Only drawback: seems like cash only here.

(Translated by Google) When you study a place before choosing it for a visit, you look first at the negative reviews, then analyze the rest. So, I want to categorically disagree with the negative reviews about this hotel. My husband and I rested for a WEEK at the end of August 2025 and had the opportunity to evaluate three quarters of the most popular dishes from the menu, the service of different shifts of waiters, the level of cleanliness and the general atmosphere. There was no sand in the mushroom soup or any questions about the meat. The restaurant really has a sanitary hour approximately from 11:00, maybe for half an hour, this is written on the sign at the entrance to the restaurant. The waitresses are always happy to take your order and there is an opportunity to pre-order a table and food, which will be waiting for you at the chosen time without delay. Heated pool, vats with healing hydrogen sulfide and tea drinking with Carpathian tea, which is included in the price, there is a charger for an electric car, the hotel manager PERSONALLY approaches each table every morning and asks if the guests are satisfied with the service and if they are in a good mood, CLEANLINESS 10 out of 10, my recommendation - grilled trout is TOP🔝🔝🔝 (Original)

Makovytsia Mountain, standing at 3,230 feet, offers a picturesque hiking path through lush green fields. At the summit, hikers can visit a cheese shop and cafe while enjoying great views of Yaremche, Tatariv, and other towns. The last stretch to the top is slightly challenging but manageable for most visitors. Families with kids can also enjoy this relatively easy hike.

Roman K — Google review
The mountain is beautiful and the sightseeing is marvelous. We got a lot of positive impressions and did a lot of photos. But the cafe “Shinok” is a dirty place with a terrible cooking and bad hand-made alcohol. After visiting this cafe I got food poisoning and a “cool night” as well. The prices are higher than restaurants and food is mediocre. Also they give you very old dirty cutlery. So if you plan to visit the Makovitsa mountain (especially with your kids), do not go to that cafe. If you go by your feet it will be good to order walking sticks before.

(Translated by Google) Interesting tourist object. Its importance deserves a rating of 5, but its care and condition are below 3. At the time of my visit, extensive reconstruction and improvement of the territory was underway around the museum (I hope this will only improve the general appearance of the attraction). Obviously, only the building of the Greek-Catholic church is truly ancient here. The Pantheon with busts of saints and leaders of the Catholic Church and the Way of the Cross were created relatively recently by the efforts of devoted believers. I recommend visiting, but not before the summer of 2018. I wish you success in the reconstruction.

Local residents found out that the museum is open in the summer, because there they organize rest camps for children, and a service is held every Sunday. That's all... We walked around the territory, which is not organized, and for some reason we got the impression that this is not another museum for budget funds, but something that is nurtured by the efforts of enthusiasts. Mystsina definitely has its own energy, so I will return when I have the opportunity to see it from the inside (Original) Nestled in the heart of nature, H. Rokyta Velyka is a must-visit destination for those seeking adventure and stunning scenery. The journey to this picturesque mountain is best experienced by jeep, as some parts of the road can be quite challenging. Once you arrive, you'll find a charming private cheese factory where you can sample an array of delicious cheeses, including the highly praised Vurda cheese. The atmosphere here is delightful, with breathtaking views that will leave you in awe.

Pizza restaurant
Nestled in the charming village of Yaremche, "Феста Яремче" initially appears to be a simple café, but it quickly reveals its true culinary prowess. This delightful restaurant boasts an authentic wood-fired pizza oven, a rarity even in many Western establishments. The menu features an array of delicious options, including generously portioned pizzas and pasta dishes that are sure to satisfy any appetite. One standout is their unique chicken lasagna, which offers a tasty twist on the classic dish.

I think this place is famous for its pizzas.. I've only tried the cheese cake though.. it was good.. the service wasn't remarkable .. but it has a good view of the city centre and mountains.. seen lots of people at the place. Seems popular among Ukrainians.

Huge wood-fired oven pizzas with tasty toppings. Pasta dishes are also large and yummy. The service is good and dynamic. The restaurant has a play corner, so friendly for small people.
James W — Google review
At first gave the impression of a basic café, but that soon gave way as the good quality of this restaurant revealed itself. There's a real pizza oven here - which you don't often see even in western countries. Service was friendly and quick. Some staff know basic English, and an English menu is also available (without "special prices" for foreigners as I have experienced in some of the larger cities). I had lasagna. Unusually made with chicken instead of beef, but very tasty all the same. Cheesecake for dessert also was not a disappointment. Real ale beer, locally brewed, is available. Prices are good, better than you would find in the larger cities. Highly recommended if you are visiting Yaremche. Very good Italian cuisine. If you want local cuisine, look elsewhere.

This charming eatery stands out not only for its delectable dishes but also for its warm and inviting atmosphere. Diners rave about the rich flavors of traditional offerings like deruny, veal with white mushrooms, and Banosh porridge, all crafted with care and attention to detail.
Very tasty Ukrainian food. Prices are a bit higher comparing to other places in Yaremche, but the quality of food is great for it's price. Terrace with mountains view is very quite and cozy. Service is also good. Borshch and baked fish with mushrooms are delicious - strongly recommended!

So far it was the best food we had in whole region from Yaremche to Bukovel. Very delicious and aromatic food: deruny, veal with white mushrooms, salads, Banosh porridge were on a great level. The second visit we had borsch, mushrooms soup and veal pasties - awesome again. Service is also nice: polite and friendly. Surroundings have a lot of natural sights to see and walk around before coming back to koliba for a dessert with tea.

Hotel
Baron Hotel Yaremche offers an exceptional experience with top-notch hospitality, comfort, and authenticity. The Carpathian building is adorned with ancient icons, and the staff is cheerful and caring. Guests can enjoy a hot sauna and generous breakfasts. Conveniently located near the railway station, restaurants, shops, and markets in Yaremche, it also provides easy access to attractions like Elephant Rock for scenic walks. The rooms offer stunning sunrise views.
Experience you couldn’t expect. The level of hospitality, comfort, coziness, care and authenticity is at the sky. All personal is cheerful, caring and open. Beautiful Carpatian building. Ancient icons on the walls. Hot sauna. Warm greetings. Generous breakfasts. Location is just in the middle of everything in Yaremche-railway station, restaurants, shops, market. Just cross the road from the hotel is the Elephant 🐘 rock -nice walk down there. The view from the rooms is to the sunrise. I had an amazing weekend, feeling free of thoughts, feeling full of impressions

Nice hotel, very close to bus station and short walk from train station. Room was clean and tidy with fridge and kettle. Evening and breakfast food was good. However we booked and paid extra for a room with a mountain view. We didnt get it. Instead we had a room facing the road that was so noisy with cars, trains, motorbikes we could barely sleep if you opened the window. If you closed it it was too hot to sleep - there was no air con. The hotel didnt offer a different room when we complained or any reduction in price. They just shrugged their shoulders.Very disappointing. The level of service is quite poor - we asked for a breakfast box to take out and it took around 2 hours asking different peoplemany times to get it. The "spa" is a tiny jacuzzi and it is overwhelmed by children. The wifi breaks down all the time. Nobody speaks any basic English at all. Maybe not a hotel for international tourists

Negative feedback: We ordered a bottle of dry white wine but unfortunately we got a champagne which had room temperature and the waitress didn't know what is the difference between the champagne and white wine. I ordered beef carpaccio and I got roast beef salad. Then I had to 3x explain to the waiter that it is not what I ordered. No one believed me until I showed them the description and pictures on google. At the end they understood but unfortunately they didn't have the carpaccio and they didn't even asked me to order anything else. Positive feedback: Others ordered a pizza, vareniki and pelmen and evening was all right. Actually the pizza was delicious. A strong wifi was available. Also I was glad that the waiter was able to speak English however one of us was local.

Pros: - Nice picturesque views. - Cozy wooden rooms. Cons: - Bad road to the hotel. Especially it is hard to find it in the evening, because of no signs indicating the hotel. - Rooms have a bad sound insulation. - Food in local restaurant isn’t tasty and isn’t made in time. - There aren’t enough parking places. - Bad WiFi connection in some rooms. - Water faucet in the bathroom was broken.

(Translated by Google) We rested with a family with a small child. The location is right under the forest, but there is nowhere to walk in it, everything is overgrown with nettles, we only found a spring, but to get to it is another quest, as if there is a path and on the map it is there, but everything is in nettles. ➕The view is of course very beautiful from the hotel and quiet, very clean air) The room is clean, there are minimal hygiene products. Good water pressure and hot water. Visually also beautiful, well-groomed territory, high-quality fast Wife, But the resort complex has quite a few minuses. I do not advise going without a car at all!! The road is very bumpy to the hotel!! Very steep climb, and you can wait for the bus at the stop for at least an hour! And a taxi will cost you 500 UAH to Yaremche... There is no playground, only a neglected small trampoline! Many vacationers with children, but there is nothing to do!! There is a lake/pool on the territory, but it is not possible to swim in it, frogs live there and the water is green. There is no soundproofing in the room at all, you can hear what is being said in the next room, the mattress on the beds is a rolling field, there is no kettle and water in the room (although it is a base), As for the restaurant, there is a menu but half of it is not cooked. Expensive cuisine and small portions. The waiters are a bit like in a fog, you ask a question and they fly somewhere 😄 There are no shops nearby.

A must visit in sighet. Visiting the Elie Wiesel Memorial House in Sighet is a deeply moving and essential experience for anyone interested in Holocaust history and understanding the roots of Elie Wiesel's profound work. Situated in his childhood home, the museum offers a poignant journey through his early life in Sighet before the war, his unimaginable experiences in Auschwitz, and his eventual transformation into a powerful voice for human rights and memory. Inside, you'll find exhibits that meticulously detail the vibrant Jewish life that once thrived in Sighet. The museum doesn't shy away from the grim realities of the Holocaust, serving as a powerful memorial to the entire Jewish community of the region that was destroyed. It also thoughtfully traces Wiesel's personal story, from his youthful days in Sighet to his Nobel Peace Prize and literary achievements. You'll encounter photographs, documents, and artifacts that bring his story and the history of the community to life.

(Translated by Google) Nature survives despite the efforts of "specialists for its protection" and the "state" policy of local and central leadership. The territory of the reserve is actually decreasing due to creeping "management". Forest harvesting is carried out on the territory of the reserve. I myself witnessed how, at a meeting of forestry enterprises, the reserve was presented with a PLAN for harvesting firewood. The local population and tourists can enter the territory of the reserve almost without hindrance. Uncontrolled harvesting of mushrooms, berries, and herbs is constantly carried out here. They do not conduct educational and explanatory work with the local population.

(Translated by Google) I was in the valley of daffodils last year, on the thirtieth of April. Entrance is paid, symbolic - UAH 20. But it is not clear why, because there are fewer flowers than tourists, but on the way local residents sell bundles of daffodils, the question arises where from? But there are many warnings for tourists. But if you love nature, picturesque landscapes, incredibly clean air, then you should come here. If desired, you can find a chic look for a photo shoot. I recommend everyone to visit.

Pozhyzhevsʹka is a captivating 1,822-meter peak that beckons adventurers with its scenic hiking trails and a quaint meteorological station dating back to 1901. Nestled in the heart of nature, this mountain has a rich history, once part of privately owned lands during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. A narrow-gauge track was established from nearby polonys to Zaroslyak, facilitating access for those eager to conquer Hoverla.
(Translated by Google) During the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the lands of Pozhizhevska and its captives were privately owned. A narrow-gauge track was laid from the polony to Zaroslyak (the tourist base from which people mainly climb Hoverla) and even a stone-paved road to other polonys. There was a small workshop for the production of essential oils from mountain pine. The slopes were ruthlessly cut down and processed for perfume purposes. However, the production was destroyed by the rural flood. There is also an avalanche weather station and the Biological Station of the Carpathian Ecology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the Pozhizhevsk plain at an altitude of 1,550 m. Research here began back in 1899. By the way, in the directories, the name is PozhIzhevska, but they say that the name Pozhezhevska came from frequent fires in this windiest place in Montenegro.

(Translated by Google) I am impressed! I planned to visit this route. We crossed it in the first days of winter, when everything was covered with fluffy snow. An incredible, picturesque route. There are a few noticeable climbs, but with such beauty all around you forget about fatigue. The end point was an avalanche station, where we were given a short tour and hot tea. I will definitely come back in the summer!

(Translated by Google) The entire route along the Montenegrin ridge deserves attention! Incredible landscapes, breathtaking views, greenery, mountains, lakes - you will encounter all this while walking the route along the ridge! All you have to do is have enough warm things with you - sometimes a strong wind would blow up, and we would quickly wrap ourselves up and continue on our way :) (Original)

(Translated by Google) A sea of emotions, even though we were climbing into heavy fog. But they didn’t take the risk to Hoverla precisely because of the fog. We reached the waterfall and saw a lot of blueberries along the way. We returned along the blue route. (Translated by Google) A wonderful view in good weather, but be prepared to meet a crazy old woman who guards the slopes with berries from uninvited tourists. She seems to be an employee of the weather station, and she refused to introduce herself, let's say. Her hysterical screeching with the mats spoiled all impressions of the trip. So I invite everyone to this place for berries, otherwise instead of their direct work at "meteorologists" there is some kind of closed plantation here (Original)
