Amazing toys from the early 1860's to late 1980's. Intriguing to see how toys were changed in style during 100 years. A lot of puppets, dolls, cars and more. The creepy rooms of the 2nd floor are priceless! A must visit.
great museum. it's trip down memory lane for many. cute gift shop and a discreet bar on the backside with great seating and atmosphere.
Great little museum with very nice staff.

(Translated by Google) A museum created with enthusiasm for the whole family. Located in the center of Sant Feliu de Guixols, Rambla Antoni Vidal is very close to the seafront promenade. It features 6,500 pieces from the Tomas Pla collection, most of them made in Spain. Highlights include the famous Mariquita Pérez doll brand, which dressed girls just like their dolls. There's also a 14m² model train set. Guided tours are organized, where you can learn in detail about the toys and their evolution—highly recommended.

(Not always open) (Original) Aquest antic monestir és ara un gran espai on s'hi fan diferents coses: exposicions, xeraddes, setmanes cultures, etc. (Translated by Google) As a city history museum it is quite good. The part dedicated to the production of cork in the town is a little sad and is increasingly abandoned, not to mention the fact that this space does not have air conditioning and you are directly burned. regrettable The Thyssen space, the only one with constant, permanent and inquisitorial surveillance, with air conditioning, currently has original works by Picasso and a couple by Sorolla. Museum-wise, very loose, waiting for the council to come to an agreement with the baroness to accommodate her outstanding collection of Catalan paintings from the 19th and early 20th. For now, the store is the best.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful, and interesting, the monumental complex of the monastery, which is the main headquarters of the History Museum. Recent restoration interventions have made it possible to visit spaces such as the Romanesque towers of Fum and Corn, which flank the unique pre-Romanesque façade of La Porta Ferrada, the Abbot's palace, with rooms for temporary exhibitions, or the museographic renovation of the permanent exhibitions. On the First floor is the old chapter house that houses the First Millennia space, intended to display the archaeological collection that emerged from the various excavation campaigns. The current exhibition takes a tour of the Iberian era until the beginning of Romanization, with interest in everyday life and the world of beliefs, conveyed by a synthetic, formal and accessible discourse with illustrations and interactive elements. The towers and their architecture attract attention, but the Thyssen exhibition houses works of dubious taste.

Although it has undergone significant changes over the centuries and has been influenced by various architectural movements, it still retains the Romanesque structure. The first ruins found belong to the late Roman or Visigothic period, but nothing remains of these. Currently, it is still owned by the Benedictines, and it can be accessed during mass at the corresponding times.

Patrick is AMAZING!! He is a very good instructor and you have a nice time during all the Via Ferrata with him! We had an amazing day! The spot is really nice and the Via Ferrata is not too hard, the second part a bit more but with a bit of confidence everyone can do it and Patrick is there to make sure it is the case! he also takes really nice pictures! Thank you again Patrick for this amazing time! ☀️
Amazing experience!! And it wouldn’t have been the same without our guide. He was very helpful, he made sure we were feeling our best and he took amazing pictures for us. I definitly recommend you trying this unique activity in this wonderful place!
Beautiful place. We were here at sunrise and had the place entirely to ourselves. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes. Don't forget to bring insect repellent and check the weather forecast. It started to rain at the most challenging part, making the rocks very slippery.
Had the best experience, would recommend to everyone. The most beautiful view ever to climb! Patrick is very friendly and attentive. He communicated throughout the whole thing. The photos looked great too. Sign up, you won’t regret it!!
Great time with Jean Patrick! Beautiful cliffs with clear water! It wasn't too easy or hard. Close from Barcelona. Something to do!
We had a lot of fun! Patrick was a great guide and super helpful in tricky situations. Would definitely recommend if you search for a nice adrenalin kick!
Absolutely loved our morning doing the ferrada. Our guide was great - friendly, spoke to us in Spanish and English, and took photos which is really nice. The ferrada is stunning with great views. Best if you're fairly fit, and if you climb or boulder regularly it's straightforward but still very fun! Beautiful views.
Really fun activity, great guide and spectacular location! The coastline with pink rocks and turquoise sea is gorgeous and the climb is fantastic and safe with a guide. (Not recommended if you have a fear of heights or are not physically fit)

The market in Sant Feliu de Guíxols is an absolute gem! The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with the friendly vendors, makes shopping here a truly enjoyable experience. The variety of products available is impressive. From freshly caught fish and seafood to an array of colorful fruits and vegetables, everything is fresh and high-quality. They also have a corner with good French cheese variety and selection of interesting French wine. Outside on the market square you will find local fruits and vegetables producers. Half of them is 0 km. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. The market is well-organized and super clean. It has own bar and it’s place to be when weather is not so good outside.
Good parkingplace: clean, central location, first 30 minutes are free.
Great market with local food. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Good quality fruits, vegetables, honey, ...
Nice market with a good selection of local products, fresh fish and meat and one gourmet store with a mix of high quality products. Close to this place there is a steer market with fresh vegetables, fruits, etc. From local farmers.
OK market if you like vendors that all sell the same shabby apparel. Fruit and vegetable market is better and 2 streets away
Very very clean and good produce. Try restaurant on 2nd floor, good food extremely nice people.
Extremely clean and with a great variety of fish, cheese and ham
Fully stocked and helpful staff when you cannot find what you want.

The exhibition is great and the venue as well but the organisation is really unfriendly in the way to treat the customers. We deserved a discount, which was not mentioned to us when buying the tickets at the entrance. We found out later by reading one of the leaflets given and when leaving we went to speak at the cashier. We were told incredibly that we would have had to say it when buying the tickets. Completely against the customer's interest. Does it make sense to set up a discount for customers based on some requirements and since the customer does not know it and no one tells him/her, it is not applied? Really nonsense!
A bit overpriced (8 euros) for a small exhibition. Cannot visit the entire monestery. Still nicely maintained.
Empty, a few sculptures most of it closed off. Not worth eight euros or even one. Nice building.
We went to De Sorolla a Picasso i Valdes exhibition with kids. I loved the venue, but the exhibition only had few dedicated rooms and few art pieces. Also security guards follow your footsteps literally, which I found very bizarre and intimidating experience and disrespectful. Never came across anything like that before. On a plus, there are 3 rooms for kids to do art and craft which was a highlight of our visit. We paid 7 Euros for grown ups and 5 Euros per child.
Loved the historical significance that was offered in the ancient monastery. The local art along with the pieces from some of the most world renowned painters made the visit priceless.
The ECT has a top exhibition each year over the summer months. Access to this also lets you see through the excellent monastery and the other exhibitions they have on.
The emptiest museum I've ever visited.
