If you are in Vietri Sul Mare and want a ceramic shop with something a little different, then Sol’Art is the place. While many of the shops in town offer more traditional ceramic styles, proprietor Giovanni and his brother Fabio offer a more contemporary take with their creations. We really enjoyed talking with Giovanni and getting some ideas for tile creations. What a fantastic experience and we hope to see Giovanni again in the future.
What an amazing shop. A more unique and artisan twist on traditional Vietri Sul Mare ceramics. Many unique, aesthetic and practical pieces. Delighted to meet one of the owners and creator of many of the beautiful pieces. Made several personal purchases. Highly recommended 💕
This morning, my husband and I bought a very colorful and, to say the least, beautiful set of ceramic plates from Vietri. Competent and very kind staff. We are very satisfied!
We decided to visit this store based on other customers reviews. Fabio, the owner, is very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the history of Vietri ceramics. He explained the different visual effects that each paint can create. His ceramics stand apart from everything else found in Vietri because they display the owner's desire to create something new while preserving Vietri traditions. Last but not least, the owner is very customer orientated which made our shopping experience a lot more enjoyable than the other shops we visited in town.
Hi there, if you are in the area of the Amalfi coast looking for some ceramics, well you'd better stop by Vietri sul Mare and go check Giovanni's shop. This guy is amazing and he basically produces all his products inside the shop, and it's handmade and original, you can easily recognised the colours of the town and the skills of Giovanni who does all by itself. i bought some of it to send to friends, just unreal how he can do that.
Most beautiful art in Vietri.
Amazing pieces at excellent prices and the owner is incredibly friendly and was great to talk to.
Beautiful work! I purchased a set of dishes and they are gorgeous and well made. Unique art to most of the other shops arounds. Really fantastic customer service as well.

Visited towards the end of our holiday and it was definitely a highlight. We did the vineyard tour, and a wine tasting with lunch. The host Alfonso was excellent; very relaxed, friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely delivered when it came to topping up the glasses of wine. We tasted two reds and a rose (white grapes only just planted), and all the wines were incredible. The wines also paired perfectly with each course of the lunch. The food was locally produced, tasty, and portioned perfectly. Needed as the wine servings were very generous for a tasting! Finished off with a few small glasses of limoncello cream liqueur. Would definitely recommend, it has beautiful views of the coast as you ate, and was an intimate affair. Lovely to meet Patrizia the owner too.
For me, this winery tour was close to perfection. The very knowledgeable Al(fonso) was our host. Sitting in the shade of lemon trees he talked us through the history of the winery and the organic method they use. We then went inside to look at the wine making, storage and bottling equipment, while Al described the process. We then took a walk up the vineyard being shown the different grapes and other useful plants they are growing. Finally, on a terrace at the top, we had delicious home made food of local origin, tasted the wines (which are excellent) and it was completed with their own magnificent limoncello. The backdrop to all of this was the stunning view down to the town, across Salerno and away to the distant mountains. All of this wrapped around the deep blue of the sea. I was blown away by this experience. Huge thanks to Al and the winery owners for their hospitality.
A beautiful evening at the vineyard starting with a fantastic tour followed by wine tasting and delicious Italian dishes. This was by far the highlight of our trip to Italy, we really felt at home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience to celebrate my father’s 60th birthday. Everything was organised perfectly and there was no pressure to leave once the tour was over. Brilliant value for money and would highly recommend to anyone looking to book. Thank you all! 🍷
Organic can mean different things, but one thing it can mean is authentic. Trust me, if you take the vineyard tour it will be a cherished memory of your visit. The owners make food the way they make wine, full of love. Al gives a brilliant tour, it will be the highlight of your stay in Amalfi.
Hands down the best day I had in Italy was doing this tour. The tour was brilliant and Alfonso was very friendly and informative. We did the package that included nibbles I'm the afternoon and the food & wine was lovely - was worth every penny. We spent most of the afternoon there and didn't feel rushed to leave in any way.
A fantastic experience with Alfonso (tour guide), Nausica (pizzaiola) and Patrizia (host) - grazie a tutti! The tour was delivered in perfect English with a wealth of knowledge, and the pizza making and wine tasting made for a wonderfully pleasant afternoon. 5*, highly recommended!
Fantastic dining experience with proper homemade Italian four course dinner and great wines to boot! Knowledgeable and fun guide!
Lovely afternoon wine tour and amazing home made food. Small boutique winery and amazing views - highly recommended

Beautiful private beach club. Entry for 2 beds and 1 umbrella is €60 for front row and €45 for other rows, would recommend being based on the left to be nearer to bar, showers, etc. There are changing rooms, cold and hot showers (hot shower costs €1), tap water, and a restaurant. The restaurant has a good menu, most dishes €10-15 and cocktails around €10. We loved it so much we travelled from Salerno to use it a second day.
Very pretty beach. Not crowded. 12€ for a sunbed on the deck, which was perfect. The restaurant was great as well, very good service from Luca!
Beautiful beach, not overcrowded. We been far from the bar in 3rd row but we liked it as there was not a lot of people and still very close to the water. We enjoyed it a lot. Be careful when ordering at the bar, always ask for the bill as they tried to knock us for €5. Lady looked annoyed when we asked for the bill. Clear water, for 3rd row umbrellas and sunbeds we paid €45 and the first row is €60. All day parking €7
My kind of beach! Pebbly beach that is also very clean, not crowded and has a restaurant and a bar. Paid 20 euros pp to get in, but it was worth it. Would highly recommend even if the descent to get to the place is a bit steep 😅
Absolutely not worth the price — 25€ per person for what? A deeply underwhelming experience from start to finish. The beach charges an outrageous 25 euros per person just to access a sunbed and umbrella — that’s 50€ for a couple before you’ve even touched the water or ordered anything. And no, that price doesn’t include a towel, a drink, or even the most basic courtesy. Everything else costs extra. Want a bottle of water? Overpriced. The beach area is cramped, and they pack in as many sunbeds as possible with no breathing room at all. You’re shoulder to shoulder with strangers, and it feels more like a beach-themed waiting room than a relaxing coastal experience. There’s no peace, no luxury, and no charm — just rows of bodies and noise. The staff were indifferent at best, giving off a clear vibe that once you've paid, they couldn’t care less. Service was slow and dismissive, and any questions we asked were met with blank stares or shrugs. For the amount they charge, you’d expect at least a premium or scenic experience — but honestly, the beach isn’t even that nice. It’s small, rocky, and lacks the natural beauty and charm that the Amalfi Coast is known for. There are so many better beaches nearby that don’t feel like tourist traps designed to empty your wallet. Would never go back. If you're looking for value, atmosphere, or even basic hospitality, avoid Crestarella at all costs.
This beach is a hidden gem. So so beautiful, lovely restaurant, and the views are magnificent. €75 for two sun loungers from 9-6pm, with an umbrella, right on the water. Really really amazing. Will be back.
good service, clean pebble beach, great view. price for 2 sunbeds on the balcony after 15:00 with a discount of 24€. the best beach in the area.
It is a really nice place to spend an awesome beach day. The prices are a bit high but the comfort there worths it. There are showers, changing rooms, bathrooms and a restaurant. The restaurant closes at 3 pm.

Any review less than 5 stars just isn't accurate. Stunning small private beach with plenty of room to swim, cold and hot showers, changing facilities, bathrooms, bar, cafe, and casual restaurant. Friendly and courteous staff. The chairs you can rent are comfortable and the umbrellas work well. Crystal clear water immediately below the cliffs of Amalfi.. you can easily swim to small grottos and little island beaches along the coastline from here. This place was absolute paradise - I visited here twice and would come back every day if I could.
At the furthest north end of the beach. Smaller operation with primo spot. Wasn’t crowded when we rented two chairs and an umbrella. Couldn’t have been more relaxing. Had a family vibe. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Peaceful, clean, nice staff. A bit hard to find since it’s in the end of the beach. Not too pricy even in August (31€ for two sunbeds and umbrella).
We came here on a day where it was raining in the morning, so no one was in by the time the weather got better, super clean, and by the mountain and has gorgeous views, the displayed 18€ for an umbrella and 3 sun beds but they charged 21€ but when we asked why they didnt speak any english so they didnt understand us and we gave up
Beautiful tasty desserts. The beach opposite made us pine for the crowd-free natural beaches of New Zealand, but hey, we're in Italy (2019 - this day 2 years ago) to experience how different life is.
Small lido clean, good bar and decent snack meals at lunch plus full restaurant for formal lunch.
This is actually an alright place! I went here actually on 2nd June 2023 but I came to this place, and it is AMAZING! One question: If they have too many deckseats on the sandview (In other words, they have the seats you want there but unfortunately, some of them are too far from the coast), doesn't that make it harder to get to the coastline? Other than that, it's ok!
Nice and cool place. Hard to be there in August( overbooked and a lot of noises and people), but this is a common situation in all Italy.

Nestled within the small walkways of Vietri, we stumbled upon this beautiful Church on Aug 2025. Such a beautiful and immaculate church. A must see to say a prayer of thanks and protection.
So so beautiful and we didn’t even go inside(it was closed at the time☹️) go check it out if you’re in vietri!!
Beautiful church! So happy I visited - definitely a must do if you're in town.
Beautiful church!
Beautiful church at the top of Vietri well worth the time walking up from the waterfront.
(Translated by Google) The church has a Renaissance style façade and the characteristic majolica dome from the early 1900s and overlooks a characteristic small square which can be reached via narrow streets and stairways. Together with the Renaissance-Baroque bell tower and the neoclassical oratory of the Santissima Annunziata and the Santissimo Rosario, it constitutes a monumental complex of great interest. When we arrived in the square it was 4.15pm and at that moment the priest opened the door, so we were able to visit it. The interior is very simple, but we were struck (at the end of January) by the grandiose and truly beautiful nativity scene set in a characteristic coastal village, where you can see incredible attention to detail. A masterpiece.
(Translated by Google) The Parish Church of San Giovanni is one of the most important points of interest in the town of Vietri sul Mare. It is a modestly sized church located in the historic center of the town, with a rather decorated facade and a highly decorated interior. Although the church, overall, does not represent a unique piece from an artistic point of view, it is still a point of interest that can be visited with pleasure when visiting the town.
Probably the only truly authentic sight in Vietri sul Mare (besides the many ceramic shops). The church stands out with its distinctive exterior, especially the colorful tiled dome that reflects the town’s pottery tradition. Inside, it’s also worth a visit, with a peaceful atmosphere and classic baroque decorations. The church dates back to the 17th century and has long been the religious heart of Vietri. Its architecture and decoration reflect the influence of Naples’ baroque style, while the dome has become an unmistakable landmark of the Amalfi Coast. A genuine highlight in a town otherwise dominated by shops – definitely worth a short visit.

Such a cool, artsy little town that drifts down the side of the cliff down to the sea. The restaurants and shops are wonderful. If you like ceramics, you'll love this place.
The so-called “Villa Comunale” in Vietri sul Mare is just meaningless nonsense. It’s basically an artificial walkway with some colorful mosaic tiles – nothing historic, nothing authentic. The fact that this is labeled a “sight” only shows how little the town actually offers. Vietri already has plenty of beautiful natural viewpoints for photos; there’s no need to build an artificial plateau and call it a “city garden.” Good luck finding shade under the few trees here, especially in the blazing midday sun. Completely pointless as a tourist attraction.
Hidden gem Simple’s a bonus to stop and walk the streets. Great views and really good place for ceramics. Lovely ceramics place all over town. Great beach front for sand sitting and family swiming
A unique and almost empty place to explore and view the coast from. The tiled walls and amphitheatre speaks of the ceramic inspirations that abound in Vietre.
Such amazing tile work and beautiful views! There is an open air amphitheater and a few benches. Only bad thing is that you have to walk back up to exit.
Omg!!!!!!!! Amazingggg We went at around noon, and it was empty! Beautiful views and gorgeous mosaics and colors! Don’t miss out
If you are brave enough you can walk all the way down to the beach.
It has colorful balustrade and cute amphitheater. I went there at a sunny day, luckily saw the sea shimmering under sunshine. Love Vietri!!!!

Very nice ceramic museum with a wide variety of ceramics ,part of the collection is in an old tower and part in a large villa. The views of the ocean and surrounding area are simply stunning, as far as I am concerned just as beautiful as up in Ravello.I would recommend this place as a must see when in Vietri Sul Mare and it is free to visit.

(Translated by Google) Very nice. Inside Villa Guariglia, along the road that connects Vietri to Raito. Museum that collects various examples of ceramics, some very different from the classic Vietri ceramics. The museum is provincial and entry is free. It's a shame that it's quite poorly maintained. I think we should reevaluate it because it's really very beautiful. A little maintenance and more attention to the bathrooms wouldn't go amiss. Having small jewels and leaving them like this is sacrilege... Despite everything, I highly recommend it. (Original) Molto bello.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful collection distributed over two different structures. The first, "Torretta", can be reached through the main door along the road before arriving in Raito. Due to works (26/8/2018) the small road that connects the Tower to the Villa, where the second part of the collection is located, is closed so it is necessary to go down again, go up through the town and take the closed road that leads to the Villa. For those who have no problem walking a bit, I would recommend parking along the road under the steps (in front of Hotel Raito) and walking the distance. The villa is worth a visit!

(Translated by Google) The museum is divided into two parts but the turret has been closed since this week (early November) for internal renovation works (I have read other not recent reviews which always refer to the closure of the turret for renovation...). The part that can be visited is nice but, even though I am not an expert in ceramics, it is not worth going there on purpose if you are not in the immediate vicinity. Free access. The location of the villa is wonderful. The interior of the villa cannot be visited and it is a real shame because, from a film visible on a screen in the museum, it is truly a small treasure. Ultimately, as long as the museum can only be visited halfway, you cannot give more than 3 stars.

We had the most delicious lunch/dinner here with the friendliest service in town. We liked it so much, that we ended up eating here every single day of our stay in this town. It is so nice and relaxing to be eating right on the beach with the gorgeous view of the mountains and the sun setting over them in the evening. Every single dish that we tried on the menu was absolutely delicious, so simple and so full of flavor. Thank you for having us!
Food was really good, several choices. Lots of wines but service was super slow. It was sunday I get it but there werent full out so I didnt understand why. View is nice but they put down plastic courtains and they smell as new plastic they were.
We had lunch yesterday at Rosa die Venti at 1:00. We had reservations, but on this day it was not necessary. Our table was perfectly situated outside with views of the sea. Two of us ordered calamari, which we both enjoyed. Two ordered pasta and they really enjoy it. Our server was very good and helpful explaining everything . It was a wonderful experience! We highly recommend this restaurant for breathtaking views and delicious food!
We had a stop there for lunch on a really nice and sunny day. They have a big place to sit people outside, as well as having tables inside. There are umbrellas as well to protect from the sun. The view is absolutely gorgeous as you sit next to the sea. The service was quite slow when they had to clean the table before ours and also when they gave us some menus and took the order (but that's comprehensible because they were just two waiters and there were quite a few people). My family and I had pasta, scialatielli with seafood for me, and my parents mezzemaniche with eggplant and swordfish. Really recommend them. We also had dessert, semifreddo with pistachio, delicious!
If I could give this restaurant zero o minus.. their stuff is so unprofessional.. I asked to remove pork, despite my request they served it us and when I asked what kind of meat is this they tried ensure me that it is beef. I am not even talking their double or maybe tripled prices.
The food and the atmosphere was amazing we couldn’t have asked for more it’s just the woman waiter didn’t speak any English so it was hard to communicate and the looks she gave us just were not very pleasant but other than that it was really good.
A beautiful spot by the ocean with incredibly kind staff. It’s definitely worth the walk from the city center, and I highly recommend trying one of their desserts!
On the day we arrived we stumbled upon this place. Even though we didn’t have a reservation they accommodated us on their busiest day. The menu is varied, the views stunning and while catching a breeze we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with relaxed service. Thank you for the wonderful start to our holiday! We will return!

Marina d'Albori is the most beautiful beach in Vietri sul Mare. Lido "A'cartera" it's a quiet beach with every comfort.
Paddle boats very fun and cheap Not too many people 7/8€ per chair and per umbrella 200 stairs to go down 5€ parking at the top
(Translated by Google) 18-08-2022 We decide to go to the seaside and since it is almost or completely impossible to find a free beach (crazy) we choose this beach. Not easy to find and reach. You can park on the street near the Mare & Panorama and Namastè Roof Garden Bar clubs or in a covered car park or on the street, both for a fee. We choose the one on the street (€5.00) which is not regular as the other one is complete. The long staircase to go down and then back up is at the beginning of the curve. Once we arrive we take two sunbeds (€8.00 each) and an umbrella (€8.00). Well-kept, quiet beach with access to the sea via a small staircase. There is a very small strip of beach but it is unusable as it is hit by the waves. The view is beautiful. Staff very kind and attentive to customers. 5 star rating for the beach with good price/quality ratio. Unfortunately the sea is not beautiful and the inconvenience of parking is not negligible in addition to the dangerous stairs. Personally, however much or little it may be, spending €29.00 to go to the beach one day seems absurd to me.

(Translated by Google) We were there two months ago, but unfortunately there's a sign saying the villa will be closed for renovations starting February 2025. It's a real shame because I really wanted to visit it.

(Translated by Google) We walked the way to the museum, beautiful views, but very little thought and somewhat dangerous for the Pedestrian, the entrance, as you will see in the photos, is very nice but unfortunately the museum is very neglected and little exploited. It has two abandoned terraces closed with padlocks... it's really a shame since it would be great to take advantage of them due to the location, putting some little tables or something like that. so that the tourist can enjoy, it is a place that could also be used to make samples of these typical ceramics of the place... the library is not open only for samples They do not charge entrance fees They have bathrooms (Original) El camino hasta el museo lo hicimos caminando, lindas vistas, pero muy poco pensado y algo peligroso para el Peatón, el ingreso como verán en las fotos es muy lindo pero lamentablemente el museo esta muy descuidado y poco explotado tiene dos terrazas abandonadas cerradas con candados .. realmente una lastima ya que serian geniales aprovecharlas por la ubicación que tienen poner unas mesitas o algo como para que el turista pueda disfrutar, es un lugar que tambien se podria aprovechar para realizar muestras de estas ceramicas tipicas del lugar .. la biblioteca no esta abierta solo de muestra No cobran entradas Tienen baños

(Translated by Google) Not to be missed. Excellent welcome and indication of both routes of the museum. Free. Gratuito.
As of 16 April 2025, closed, even though it shows hours when open.

(Translated by Google) I have been to this museum twice, it is small but very rich. Free and with an excellent setup (Original) Sono stato in questo museo 2 volte, è piccolo ma è ricchissimo. Gratuito e con un ottimo allestimento
