Lush parklands with 10 miles of paths, plus an adventure course of zip wires and rope bridges.

Lovely quiet stroll around the lake and in the woods. Super for dogs. Although there's a warning for blue green algae my dogs have never become ill there. Just be aware. The water was clear today.
Loved Black Park near Slough! The 6km circular walk through trees was perfect for escaping the heat. The lake is beautiful, and there's a lovely restaurant nearby. It's dog-friendly too - dogs had a blast fetching balls in the lake! Parking is chargeable (£5 for 3hrs, £6 all-day). Great spot for families and nature lovers. Can't wait to go back!
Decent parking, access to go ape and other paid activities (mini 4x4 etc). Two on site restaurants a large lake and often activities on (we had a Dino walk). The actual activity was pretty poor and annoyingly the start point is a fair trek from the car park and wasn't clear that is where you had to start.
Black Park really feels like a hidden gem in the suburbs — the size is generous (over 500 acres of woodland, heath and open space) , so there’s plenty of room to roam without feeling too crowded. The walking trails around the lake are peaceful and scenic — there’s a 3.4 km circular route that shows off the lake and the woods beautifully. The park is well maintained, and you’ll notice wildlife and birdlife if you meander off the beaten path. There’s a good-sized car park but it can fill up on busy days, so arriving early is wise. As for costs and extras: parking isn’t free — it can run up to about £5.70 depending on time and demand, payable by card, cash or via an app (Ringo) . If you’re after a big adrenaline fix, Go Ape Black Park is a highlight: their Treetop Challenge is one of the pricier options, with other levels like Treetop Adventure and Nets Adventure more family-friendly. Reviews say it’s well run, but do expect to pay for the thrill. For food, the Lakeside Café (on-site) is a good go-to for light meals or snacks mid-walk. Beyond that your best bet is to bring a picnic or plan something in nearby Slough.
A beautiful and relaxing place away from town noise. A wonderful little lake to walk around, toilets onsite although I didnt use them so cant say how clean they were. You can take your dog with you. Car park a little pricey at £5-£6 depending on length of stay. A nice family outing.
A truly serene and beautifully manicured park. It also has ropes courses (I think called go apes in the UK). The lake was perfect for a stroll or two around. I can’t wait to come back.
I visited Black Country Park this past Sunday morning to try the Go Ape Treetop Challenge, and it completely exceeded my expectations. My young cousin and I had an amazing time navigating the treetop obstacles, ziplines, and rope courses. The layout provided just the right balance of challenge and fun for all skill levels. I’d especially like to thank Abdul, our instructor, for his excellent guidance. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure we understood all safety procedures clearly. His supportive presence throughout the course gave us extra confidence to push ourselves. While £85 for two people may seem steep at first glance, the experience was absolutely worth it. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with peaceful woodland surroundings that make you forget you’re still in London. My cousin hasn’t stopped talking about our adventure, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend Go Ape to anyone looking for an exciting outdoor activity. It’s perfect for families, friends, or even team-building outings. Tip: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and book ahead as sessions tend to sell out quickly!
Such a lovely park There're plenty of parking lot, beautiful scenery, playground for kids, a cafe to enjoy food, and lot's of places to discover.

A lovely park, with great walks for dogs. The cafe is a real asset. Amazingly friendly staff and really edible food. The wait for food is quite long, because it's all made fresh. Lots of cars parked up this morning, but the park is big enough to not feel crowded, once you get away from the entrance. Will definitely visit again.
Such a pretty park to walk with especially with the flowers that have bloomed. There are various trails you can follow. There is a cafe or you can take a picnic. Note the grand building is a hotel, you can walk around it but are not permitted on the grounds
A wonderful discovery especially is late April and May when the incredible rhododendrons bloom occurs. Walk through amazing colourful paths which twist and turn so you don’t miss a single bloom. Planted over 100 years ago rhododendrons grow into massive tree like bushes . When your colour vision has been gorged look up to see Wellington fir trees from California well over 150 years old. These giant trees can be seen across the entire site. Then walk down towards the pond and into the Arboretum to see more spectacular giant trees. Follow the path to the point which is overlooked by the 5* hotel. Have coffee in the well run cafe or bring a picnic. Parking is easy although can be busy. once parked the busy feeling will disappear Enjoy !
Lovely well managed public park. Lots of activities and walking along paths and seeing the views. Spring has spectacular rhododendron gardens so worth considering. Parking available with a fee contactless or Ringo App.
Massive area for walking. Lovely, varied scenery. It has a lake, mansion house, cafe, playground, several gardens and lots more. Dog friendly, but they signpost where they need to be leashed.
Beautiful country park. Temple Gardens stunning at moment! Easy parking (£) and small cafe.
A most beautiful hotel property just outside of london. Fit for the king and queen for sure. Top-notch customer service. An amazing history with this property
Beautiful park, kids playground, adults and family friendly. Beautiful view

I’ve been coming to Slough Ice Arena with my family for over 30 years, and it continues to be a fantastic place. The current General Manager runs the venue with great efficiency and has built an excellent team. We spend a lot of our time here and always enjoy the experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Slough Ice Rink is a fantastic place, especially for those who are serious about skating. We visit regularly for training, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and positive. The staff, particularly Sal and Nathan, truly make it stand out. They’re always friendly, full of smiles, and quick with a joke that makes you feel like part of the family. Their warmth and attention to detail create such a great environment, and we always feel well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Marjina & Jasmeen were amazing at clip & climb. 🧗 both my daughters had loads of fun. Thank you both. 🙏🏽
I’m a regular customer at Slough ice arena and really appreciate having the resource in the area. The customer facing staff are great. Nathan and Sal are a wonder pair of lads, they always have a smile on their faces and make customers feel very welcome. It’s an expensive hobby but lots of fun.
A great ice rink with friendly staff, and a supportive atmosphere. The team make it a welcoming and happy place to be- especially Sal, who always greets everyone with a big smile, makes sure they’re having a great time and always goes the extra mile! The coaches are fantastic, especially Megan Parnell-Murphy, who is amazing! She’s patient, encouraging, enthusiastic and incredibly skilled. Megan makes every lesson fun while helping you improve and her love for skating is truly inspiring! Couldn’t recommend her more!
Had a great experience today. Sal, Zoey and Nathan were all very helpful and had great customer service, will definitely come back because of them. Even mentioned skate classes which I might give a go. Fabulous evening.
The staff are very good and kind. They host lots of clubs, competitions, galas and pantos! The coaches are lovely, the building is nice and clean (good sized rink) and well looked after but it’s the people inside the building that make it great 👍 (especially Sal)
Been an amazing venue for taking my two young children skating. When speaking to the manager Julie, she has always been so helpful and friendly and found the time to answer any questions I had to ask about all the activities they have to offer. All the staff seem so kind and considerate and ensure every visit we have is amazing!

Father Chris did an amazing job guiding our family and executing a wonderful funeral for my recently passed father. Sympathetic, attentive, personable and a lovely service.
I had a little walk through lovely cemetery by St Marys. It is beautiful church and nice cemetery.
Seeped in history. Where the faithful have prayed for a 1000 years. It makes Langley special.
Lovely local church. Attended crib service.
Incredible church with spectacular #meltolgy evidence
A lovely church where all the family are welcome even young children
An oasis in bland suburbia. Interesting graveyard. Church itself was closed.
I am a time traveller hasnt changed much since 1770. :)

Excellent library and facilities at The Curve! The Curve’s library is one of the best public spaces in Slough. It ismodern, clean, and very well designed. There’s a wide range of books, from fiction to academic resources, and plenty of quiet study areas with free Wi-Fi and computer access. The seating is comfortable, and there are charging points throughout, which is great for students and remote workers. The staff are approachable and always willing to help, whether it’s finding a book or using the printing and scanning services. The library also has dedicated children’s and teen sections, which makes it welcoming for families. Overall, The Curve offers a brilliant environment for studying, reading, or just spending time in a calm and well-maintained space. A real asset to Slough!
I really it, I think its a great place to study, but if im there for 4 or 5 hours I need to eat lunch and the library dont let people eat, which I find inconvenient. Because if I want to eat I have to go somewhere else and the might lose my seat in the library
Decent Library with a great choice of books. Very nice and well maintained premises.
Poor Poor Poor. never any seats available on the first and second floor, and when you sit at a computer desk to do your work, youre kicked off by staff, despite there being 20 other computers available to use for others. Staff are quick to penalise people actually sitting down quietly doing their work, but when it comes to noisy teens using the area as a lounge space they are nowhere to be found. terrible terrible experience every time i have been in here.
We will have a very peaceful working area if the staff, who start making rounds three times a minute at 4.30 for the library that will close at 5 o'clock, make a few rounds at normal times and warn those who make noise in the quiet study areas. Also, why does the only library in the whole city close at 5pm? Let it stay open until 8, what do you have to lose?
Amazing place and super friendly staff aff
Went to see Ladies of Laughter here. Decent sized theatre, quite cosy seats! Plenty of shows on so there's lots to choose from. There's a few car parks near by and some local shops too. There is no bar or vending machines so take your own drinks. Toilets well maintained too.
I decided to join the library, as books are getting so expensive these days, and the gentleman who helped me was very friendly and helpful. He showed me how to use the scanner to borrow and return a book, and helped me find the book I was looking for, which I had checked was available online. I like the online search and reservation service, and the way it shows availability at other libraries. It makes it easier than searching the shelves to see if they have it. The lady on duty though, when I returned my book and went to scan another, was very rude - she snatched my card away from the scanner and started to walk away. I asked what was the problem, so she said sometimes the machine plays up if you leave the card under the scanner too long, so I said there's no need to snatch it away like that and walk away without saying anything, it's just bad manners. I also asked if they accept book donations as I have quite a lot of books, all in very good condition having only read them once or twice, but was told they don't accept them. This to me doesn't make sense, as it would save the library the cost of buying the books, and help increase the selection available. I do understand that they have limited space, but they could distribute them amongst the other libraries.

I do find one of the best fried chicken here today with different varieties of items, The cafe name is " Chikings " they are making on the spot when we are ordering. I like thier crispy Ness of the chicken 😍 The staff was really super cool , and well behaved 😍 the owner was really amazing ever i have ever seen "Mr semeer" , shahabas and Shafeeq ✨✨ Thankyou for the great chicken For your good service
This shopping mall has only couple of UK brands shops like tk max and primark. Remaining all local shops. Thier is no much choice for good shopping. Car park is also closed for a long time ago. 2 parts of the mall also closed for ages and never open again. Hopefully in coming 10 years it will be better if its not totally vanish.
Queensmere Shopping Centre in Slough offers a decent variety of shops, though it’s starting to feel a bit outdated compared to newer shopping malls. You can find popular stores for clothing, electronics, and daily essentials, but the selection is somewhat limited. The centre is usually clean, and the staff in the shops are helpful. Parking is convenient, but the mall could benefit from more dining options and a refresh of its interiors. Overall, it’s a good place for quick shopping, but it could use some modern updates.
Every time I visit the Observation Shopping Centre, I have a frustrating experience with the car park. The barriers are always faulty and cause long queues. I paid £1 but still got charged extra just for being stuck in the queue. It’s unfair and feels like a scam. Very frustrating experience every time.
It's OK, but nothing special. There are some shops, but not a large number. The car park is OK with reasonable prices. The vibe is of a place that is a bit run down, but still holding up. I visited Primark, mainly, and public toilets, which are aslo quite Ok and free. The top floor of the car park is an open roof, and there are some views from the top, for example the Windsor Palace is visible, although it is quite far.
Don't even think anyone reads these reviews but this shopping centre is an utter dump just like every other square inch of slough. The whole place wants demolishing.
Needs more cleaning please. But over all not a bad place. Improved recently new shops here. You can get what you want. Variety of food and range of pound shops, banks, bakery and etc. Not a bad place if you want to do day to day tasks.
Good service, timely ride to airport friendly staff and rates.. (what a jock) Update: Month later, when we had to extend parking services because of late arrival, the charges doubled. So arranged to pick up our car and it won't start. They were supposed to switch on the ignition every few days, but obviously, who knows. So after a few well spent hours power started. Such a waste of money and time.
