To expensive in the summer to get up for a family which wants to go hiking, sudtirol altodigr guest pass does not apply to the Bus which is so ridiculous. Feels like a tourist trap which is a shame 👎
A nightmare, crowd without control, people and dogs pushed inside cabins by cableway attendants who simply does not care and laugh by the situation, unpolite and rude with olders. Big size dogs are allowed to enter cabins without lace or muzzle, even if signs forbids it The worst, use bus if you can
greedy management. 20E cost for 1 person. They also take 3E for dogs & ask to put a muzzle. Majority of dogs in Italy are kind, or at least not agressive. Moreover the cabins in summer are often empty. But this company forces to pay 3E for dog + 6E for a muzzle. Additional 10E, which are nonsense, considering that other cable cars never make such restrictions / charge for dogs. Very strange
The ride one the cable car was bumpy and scary. The windows of the cable car were all scratched, so the view wasn't that good. On top of this, we had to buy a muzzle for our TINY dog, just to then be completely alone on the gondola, what a waste of money and materials! At the till there was no sign about it and the cashier told us nothing about it, so once we got to the entrance they told us we had to buy one and it was too late to back out. The guy was also very rude.
Beautiful scenery with great weather. Nice hikes for whatever is your skill and style.

One of the most beautiful views I have ever seen! The cable car is not necessary if you are in a good shape during spring and summer.
The “other” side of Seiser Alm is less known - and slightly less scenic - but great nevertheless. It provides a different perspective and the absolute best views of the Sciliar !
Alpi di Suiss is not to be missed. Worth the cost of the two trams to take the loop trail around the largest Alpine meadow in the Alps. Absolutely gorgeous views for 360'.

Panoramic field surrounded by iconic Dolomites mountain. Cable car is really nice view. Bad thing is it’s hard to get parking in Summer.
Definitely a must see when in Dolomites. Great hiking area with wonderful view. Even in high season the place is so big you won't see the crowds. Only issue, you need to take a lift. You can try walking but the routes and parking rules are so weird we gave up the idea. You'll have enough trekking once up there.
You can use this place as a recovery spot after a challenging hike 🥾. It’s a peaceful place with breathtaking views in every direction 🌄, just like something out of a fairy tale ✨. 👉If you want to check out our YouTube video with all the locations we visited (the video has no talking, just hiking, camping, and beautiful nature scenery) 🌄🏕️, search for The Dolomites Camping and Hiking | Relaxing Video on the Hike & Bike YT channel 🎥✨
It's not my favorite Alpe, and it's very hot in summer. You have to pay every lift to go up or down. The signs are not very visible. I would recommend hiking a loop and taking the lift down. It's no fun to walk downhill on a ski run. Visitors were all very friendly. All the cows with cowbells on reminded you it's the Alpe, and it's nice sound effect with the grassy rolling hill background. Again, it's very hot in August and there are very few shady areas.
Amazing views. There are plenty hiking trails here.
Great bike shop. Sebastian was very helpful, friendly and professional. Good prices and selection of bikes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting an e-bike if visiting during summer as you can see much more of the scenery when doing so.
Very nice easy hike (walk) around the Seiser Alm.

It is an ideal spot for taking a leisurely walk, capturing beautiful photos, or hiking along the many available trails. The peaceful atmosphere and magnificent natural scenery make Alpe di Siusi feel like a paradise on earth that you should not miss when visiting the Dolomites.

La Parrocchia di Castelrotto is a beautiful and peaceful parish church nestled in the heart of the village. The parish of Castelrotto, the seat of the deanery, certainly dates back to the early Middle Ages. This is evident from the fact that the church is dedicated to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. With its stunning Baroque architecture, serene interior, and iconic bell tower nearby, it offers a perfect spot for reflection. A must-visit for those exploring the cultural and spiritual charm of Castelrotto.
Extremely important, huge parish church of excellent beauty and unique spirituality! Please visit it and praise Our Lord, the maker of all.
Nice and big church for such a small village.

Friendly service with elegent atmosphere and excellent cuisine. The best squid tagliatelle ever. The whole experience is great 👍
Stepping into this restaurant is akin to entering a gallery. Lighting and interior are installations of pure aesthetic delight. The chef's handling of goat cheese is a relevant, a delicate flavor and texture. The Aperol Spritz, sharp as a sudden, elegant rebuff, serves as a stark, yet intriguing, counterpoint to the restaurant's otherwise seamless perfection.
Agree with others who say this should definitely be a 5 star rating. Absolutely delicious food with complex flavors. Very reasonably priced for the experience of the restaurant and quality of the dishes. Call to get a reservation and expect the meal to be your event for the evening. Really can’t recommend this enough if you’re staying nearby! We will revisit any time we are in the Dolomites.
They have 2 set menus & a few daily options where you can choose what to eat. The meals and ingredients were very delicious 🫶🏻
Art of food . Fresh and delicious.
Hannes and Inga were great and made oir dinner extra special. They went out of their way to prepare some of the best Vegeratian dishes we've had in a long time.
Fantastic restaurant! The place is run by a husband and wife, and the whole experience is so charming. The food was excellent, Inga’s service was excellent, and we had a really great time. As it’s just the two of them, expect a slower meal enjoyed over a couple of hours, and enjoy the regional flavors with some glasses of wine. 5 stars!
This place deserves 2 Michelin stars. It’s crazy that it only gets 4.3 stars on Google. Make reservation. Husband-wife duo with obvious focus on quality first - just truly excellent. 7 tables? Really really good place, one of best restaurants we’ve eaten at in our 3 months in Italy.

Some of the best snowboard slopes in Val Gardena. Wide slopes, lots of off-piste, convenient lifts, stunning views of the nature and mountains, clean air, pine forests. Small queues, relatively few people on the slope. I recommend getting there by bus from Monte Pana. The cost is 5 euros for one person one way, cash only is accepted.

Beautiful peaceful gardens where you are able to walk through and enjoying nature in its own detailed biological glory. The shop is nice with a great product range of herbs, spices en vegetables. There's a cute bench outside where I left my man while I was shopping and he didn't complain at all 😉 he actually liked it there he said! When you are in the neighborhood, you should really stop by for a visit to this pretty place!
Pflegerhof is a magical place, rich of different and unice tipe of plants. I suggest to take a look and walk through the precious garden
Absolutely worth the detour - amazing selection of herbal tees, herbs, seeds…
Beautiful place if you love herbs. Do buy their sugar free amaro. Might be the best you ever tried.
Wide range of herbal products
What a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of the Dolomites! The beauty of this place is truly breathtaking, vibrant gardens overflowing with herbs and flowers, all grown with such care and intention. I was lucky enough to see two staff members gently picking flowers by hand…a beautiful reminder of how connected this place is to the land. The stroll through the gardens was peaceful and restorative, with horses, ducks and roosters adding to the charm. The shop is absolutely lovely, offering a selection of organic, handcrafted products made right from their gardens. You can truly feel the love and quality in everything they make. I’m already dreaming of my return…a perfect spot to reconnect with nature and bring home something truly special.

Had an amazing paragliding flight with Kurt! They are very professional, explained me what to expect and we stayed in the air for a good amount of time. Highly recommend it and I can’t wait to fly again.
Had the best time paragliding! These guys are very experienced fliers. I got very nervous right before, even though I've been sky diving in the past, though this was quite different, but Marco was great with me and ensured everything would be fine, and it was! I definitely regret not trying thermic, my boyfriend ended up trying it and had an amazing time. We plan to go again next time we visit!

We had a lovely stay. The Staff was very friendly and the room super nice. We will come back for sure.
Liked everything about this place except the process for check-in and check-out. We were required to do both at a sister hotel a block away that was closed. The Cavallino was not staffed, which was a problem on two evenings when a dog in the room next to ours was barking and whining, presumably left unattended by its owner. Yet there was no staff on the premises to deal with the situation.
This hotel staff lacks customer appreciation. The hotel is very pretty and has a unique old world style. I loved the carpets and woodwork on the ceilings. There’s a game room and bar room that’s all self serve. The weird stuff begins when you check in. You have to check in at another hotel 5 min away down a hill so there is no one at the front desk at this hotel. So if you have luggage you have to walk it uphill to this hotel or bring a car then drive it back to the other hotel. That means also no one to talk to about the area, You have to go to the other hotel for that. Then we booked a room for $285 and it’s in July and we’re Americans. The hotel was not full. So instead of giving us a nice room. They gave us a room with a view of a construction project and the room was one of the tiniest in the hotel. The beds were small made for kids And were very firm Foam. It was quite uncomfortable and hard to sleep and in the morning around 7 am the nail guns started so it was just bad that the hotel didn’t have the customer service skills to realize this. I just hope they don’t give this room to anyone else. It should be the last one to give when everything else is taken. Otherwise I liked the welcome drink on Sunday with snacks and the design of the hotel is great. It feels like an old Swiss chalet. There were about 6 other people staying and no one really talked or played games downstairs. There’s a self service bar with snacks and drink with everything at a reasonable price. However for the price starting at 285$ it’s quite expensive. This town is also very dead and has no good downtown. The next town over is better.
Absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms are very spacious, comfortable , and clean! The location is perfect, just a few steps away from a nice grocery store and several restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous, from coffee to pastries, really great. The only reason for the 3 stars on service is because there is never anyone manning the front desk. No one to check you in or out, or just to ask questions. You have to visit another hotel a few hundred meters away to check in and out or just to get extra towels. This hotel is clearly a 5 Star all around, they just need to man the front desk, at least part of the day.
** This review is from our stay in Dec 2024 (for some reason google wasn't allowing my post, the photos were my own) Excellent stay here. We checked in at Hotel Villa Kastelruth (minutes walk). Very friendly staff (at both hotels). You get a garage pass, bus passes (for each guest). The garage is minutes walk from the hotel and Busbahnhof. You can drive your car to the hotel, unload your bags and then drive it to the parking garage. Same with checking out. You use your room key to enter the hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We booked two rooms. One had two rooms with a bathroom in between and skylights in all 3 rooms. You definitely hear the church bells ringing (which we didn’t mind at all). We were pleasantly surprised to find a handwritten Christmas card welcoming us to the hotel, along with a tin of chocolate treats. We also had robes and nice room slippers to use. We took our dog and they had set up a dog bed, bowl and nice bag of dog treats for him. There was even a nice red tag (with a picture of a dog) to hang on the door. The lobby area had plenty of seating and an Honesty Bar (filled with any beverage you would like). There were also snacks to purchase and some free biscuits, croissants as well. We utilized the fridge in the honesty bar to store some of our drinks/food. The location was awesome. Minutes walking distance to the Busbahnhof. To get to Seiser-Alm Bahn, just take the 3A bus (I think even the 3 bus would work too). Buses run on time and are very convenient. The restaurants were also minutes walking distance. We had to make reservations (as we were a very large group). In December, the Christmas market was still open along with a small ice rink. They loved playing “Sweet Caroline” We took our dog and there was a small park to walk him before we went to Seiser-Alm for the day. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the breakfast (looked delicious, but next time!) because we had to get to the mountains early each day. Check out is by 10am at Hotel Villa Kastelruth. Again, greeted with a warm smile and offered bottled water for all of us. (There was an option to include a tip upon check out. Which we did) Definitely would stay here again.
A hidden gem of a hotel in a hidden gem of an alpine village. Ideal location -- both hotel and village, very kind and thoughtful staff, attractive historic property, impeccably clean, and quite comfortable. The ladies even noticed my son's birthday somehow (from his passport?) and presented him with a surprise gift. So thoughtful. My only suggestion to the owners would be to upgrade the pillows. I highly recommend Cavallino d'Oro and Kastelruth to everyone.
I did not want to write this review but Hotel Cavallino charged us twice for our stay and has not returned our money. The hotel acknowledged they made an error and we have reminded them to return the money multiple times but it has been almost 3 weeks since we initially raised the issue and we have received no money. We paid in full for our stay in early September ahead of time through Booking.com. During our stay we ate at the main hotel restaurant. After eating we went to the reception to pay for our dinner. Without us realizing the hotel charged us for our dinner and our room a second time. We did not realize this until several days later when reviewing our credit card statement. We immediately contacted the hotel with receipts and they apologized and acknowledged their mistake. They said they would return the money. However it has now been 17 days and I have sent 4 reminder emails and we have received nothing. We would never have imagined a hotel with such good ratings previously would steal from us. We have never experienced such unprofessionalism from a hotel in our lives and could not recommend this establishment to anyone.
Well run by a knowledgeable and courteous staff. Clean and spacious rooms. A great buffet breakfast like you would expect in the Sudtirol. One of the best hotels we stayed in during our two week odyssey throughout Trentino Alto Adige. Highly recommended.

Allego foto esemplificativa per valutare se anche per voi vale la pena... ovviamente fatta con treppiede e fotocamera è un' altra cosa....

Loved this place- easy, relaxing and slow chairlift up, beautiful mountain hut with delicious and reasonably priced strudel, and the best part was all the goats, so friendly and relaxed! If you enjoy animals and relaxing family vibes, can highly recommend
Super cool place on the top. Big playground for kids. Super nice staff. Great food that came fast. Clean and nice restrooms. A piece of paradise after 1 hour of hiking. Really recomend this place.
Fantastic location close to Castelrotto. Good food. Nice playground for children with also some goats and animals. Nice place for families and children At the "maso" Marinzen you can have a good food at reasonably price. Payment only cash
Not far from Castleruth, nice and easy hiking experience. Funny goats keeps company while having a pic-nic or relaxing on the lawn
The grease from the lift fell on my wife's jacket, hat and hair. One of the trail post was snapped at the base and the leaned against a tree pointing in the wrong way which caused some confusion and had to back track.
Very nice and quiet place, good for family and kids
Chairlift from kastelruth. Lovely views, nice playground and cafe.

All the trainers are very experienced and work with safety first attitude. School offers training courses for all skiing levels. I took ski lessons from Gabriel and Letitzia. Highly recommended both of them for ski lessons.
I took private ski lessons at Skischool Seiser Alm this week, and it was the best decision I could have made, and a fantastic experience. My instructor, Andreas Hosp, was incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, patient, optimistic, friendly and very easy to talk to. I was a beginner skier - I had an accident when skiing 18 years ago and decided to get out of my comfort zone and get over the fear of skiing this year - and Andreas did an amazing job helping me get over that fear and breaking down the basics while keeping things fun. I trusted him and felt safe with him which was the most important thing for me personally. By the end of our lessons, I felt much more confident on the slopes and even tackled a few beginner runs that I was nervous about before. I could not have done that without Andreas’ help. Thank you very much Andreas! 🇬🇧 Grazie mille! 🇮🇹 Dankeschön! 🇩🇪 The ski school was well-organized, staff helpful and approachable. I highly recommend this ski school to anyone looking to improve their skiing skills! Thank you and see you next year!
Wow! We were in Oct 2016 for the Trek in the park. I want to come back again. I've been a lot around the world and that's one of the most beautiful place on earth.
Terribly bad organized. My wife waited 45min to get going on a 2 hour lesson twice in 4 days. My kids got placed in the wrong groups. Nobody seems to be in charge. People on the mountain says go talk to the office, people in the office tells go talk to the instructors on the mountain. Finally we got hold off a guy called Simon that helped and he did great. However it should not take this long. Worst ski school I have seen in many years. If I can give any suggestion is to have one or 2 people on top that can answer questions, show people where to go and help in general.
If you are going to have snowboard lessons, ask for Niccolò. He is the best instructor in the area. Very professional, he was able to teach me and take me to the next level. After three h with him, I'm capable to ski any lane Of any difficulty. 5 stars teacher!!!!
The course stopped more than 20 minutes before the anounced end, the Teacher left, the kids where left Alone. We found our child in tears. This is totaly unacceptable.
We had to stop early my daughter class due to covid, terms were jointly agreed to get 3 days of group class instead of refund. 2 years later (when pandemic allowed) they came up with plenty of explanations issuing a coupon for 65€ which was not even enough to cover 2 days of ski school (134€). Ski teachers are great however admin staff doesn't respect their promises.
Total disaster. We signed up 2 kids as absolute beginners, but when we got there we were told beginners couldn't participate on this course - They could have told us a month before! Their website still allows it! We managed to get them moved to a beginners course, even if the ages didn't fit... Where they learned little, and even managed to loose a child one of the days. Trying the other school next year… Stay away from this one.
