What an amazing experience seeing these majestic birds. And you get the feeling that they are being very well cared for. If you have the budget to buy the event "gå tur med en rovfugl" I would very much recommend it getting to train 2 birds and hearing about them.
Lovely location with great enthusiastic team who like to present the different shows about birds, prehistoric issues and related animals. The complete package is made with love and together with sunshine it's informative entertainment ❣️
Really great show. The two falconers were amazing in their pleasant and witty show with the various birds. Despite the price of 165 dkk for adults and 95 dkk for kids it was well worth it.
Unique experience to have, a lot of different animals and shows. We were only one English speaking visitors and we got some short explanations as well. Birds and other animals are very well treated
The Birds of Prey Show is very entertaining, despite the fact that I couldn’t understand 95% of what was said because I don’t know Danish! That’s both high praise, and a warning to non-Danish speakers. Only about 5% of the information spoken by the trainers is in English. One of the things that I enjoyed about the show was that almost every bird had been trained to do something that showcases their unique qualities, like a bird call, or landing on audience members’ heads, or swooping down and grasping prey, etc. This is good showmanship and makes the show memorable. A big downside is that the location is not easily accessible by bus, and on the day I checked, the bus was scheduled to arrive AFTER the show ended. Being a foreign visitor with no car, I had to rent a bicycle and pedal my way to the show Another downside is that the shows’ schedule is not available on their website. Luckily, I had planned to arrive on the early side so I didn’t miss it. But I did miss the Reptile Show, which was just before the Birds Show. Had I known about the Reptile Show, I would have tried to arrive even earlier.
Bird preservation center with an entertaining and educational show of numerous birds of prey from around the world. A must see for any trip to Bornholm. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
5 Stars for the entertainment, the staff (Ida and Christian) was super good to tell about the birds in a way that make it inspiring to look at - Both the inside and outside show was amazing. I will recommend the show for anyone there visit Bornholm!
So stunning to see those majestic animals so close! The staff is super friendly and do their best to entertain visitors, teach them and take care of the animals. When weather is fine, the show is separated in two pieces: one in hall, one at the outside. Everyone was blown away!

Lively downtown. Brilliant service at the Tourism office. Great Nike sport shoes at Intersport shop.
The ferry appears to be well maintained, which I appreciate. However, as a recent resident of Bornholm, I find the price extremely expensive. For example, if I want to visit friends in Copenhagen, it costs around 200 DKK each way for the ferry, plus at least 160 DKK for train tickets, that’s a minimum of 560 DKK for a round trip. It’s simply unaffordable. There should at least be a discounted rate for Bornholm residents.
Rønne! Rønne is the largest town on the Danish island of Bornholm, located in the Baltic Sea. It's known for its charming cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and scenic coastal surroundings. *About Rønne* - Located on the western coast of Bornholm, Denmark - Population of around 14,000 people - Known for its maritime history, cultural attractions, and natural beautiful - *Rønne Harbor*: Stroll along the picturesque harbor and enjoy the seafood restaurants - *Bornholm Museum*: Learn about the island's history and culture Rønne is a wonderful destination for those looking for a charming coastal town experience, rich history, and natural beauty.
Typical tourist place, during summer season quite busy. Ferry by ferry entering and leaving port. Since September ferry traffic drops down, Ronne becomes again oasis of peace and silence
All the dockings were well organized, and on time.
A tree storage building with a dock platform. Don't expect much really, but it does what it needs to do. I like it as a port of call, with no services whatsoever .... So if you go there to take the ferry only, you will not be disappointed. Anything else sucks
Nice buildings, still a few tracks from the days with narrow gauge railway. Nice town
Good mooring opportunities, spacious and good facilities close to town.

Great ladies, very competent, witty and helpful. If you want to buy Bornholm souvenirs (magnets, bags, pens etc.), one of the best place to do so.
Very modern centre, lots of bits n pieces to buy as well as information, staff very helpful
Outstanding services. Cool shopping. Lockers for luggage
Very nice and organised information centre. Attentive and pleasant personnel, lots of info material. There is also inviting shop with interesting local products and souvenirs.
Modern Building in the harbour of Rônne. All questions were answered in a very friendly way. Many thanks
Nice ceramics but pricey
Very helpful and patient staff, without her I would definitely stuck at Ronne, thanks very much!

Very nice place, very good value for money, personally i would have liked a bit more and deeper information about collaboration with the werhmacht and about the so-called 'Tysker tøser'.
Go back in time to the Stone Age, then travel back to the present with this collection of artifacts found on Bornholm. The Cold War, the occupation of German troops during WW2 as well as the history of Grandfather Clocks round out the rest of the displays. A nice and interesting way to use an early afternoon in an otherwise cold and blustery late-May vacation. A recommended visit for one and all!
This has to be one of my favorite museums of all time; obviously not in the pure quantity of exhibits but instead the effort and care put into the museum. The amount of prehistoric artifacts, maps, and remains is stunning. Despite mostly being in Danish, reasonable accommodation is given to speakers of English, German, and Polish. The gift shop has a fun selection, and the front desk was helpful and joyful. I highly suggest a visit to this museum, especially for those with a strong interest in history and archeology.
Nice to see while you are in the island.
If you are interested in Bornholm's history, this is the place. You go through all stages of it. There are also new finds on the ground floor. Due to Christmas, through the museum we could see students' fantastic creations, with the theme " Lila den glemte julfarve". Great inspiration for other museums too.
We love the museum, there are activities for children and so lovely people in registration desk 😍
Small.....but sooooo much worth a visit....and do your self a favor....take the guided tour in the footprint of Boye
Small old style museum that gives a good insight on the history of Bornholm. The collection on the archeological excavations at Sorte Muld (near Svaneke) is exceptional and contains many of the gold “gullgubben” that are found.

A very thorough museum of the wars of the past 500 years as they relate to Bornholm. I learned a lot about WW2 and some interesting things about the V2 rockets. There is some information in English and German as well. The staff was great. A visit to the citadel is interesting as well as you climb up several staircases to the interior.
Excellent small museum about the history of the defence of the island Bornholm. It includes many interesting items such as canons and even an original German enigma machine which the Germans left in a ditch after world war II. At the end of WW2 the island was bombed and then liberated by the Russians who staid until 1946. This interesting period and the cold war is also covered. Recommended!
A fine place to visit. They have items from the first milits and up until now. If you like original war items, this is the place to visit. Of speciel items they have; An original Enigma machine. A Humvee, costume made for the Recon Bataljon. Used i Afghanistan. A old tank, donated to Denmark after WW2, as a part of the Marshall help. The tank was in action 3 days after D Day. All items are original, there is a big selection of swords, flags and so on. They have the original Nazi flag from the German camp from WW2. It was stolen in the last few days of the war, and only came out of hiding in 2015.
A very helpful lady at the tickets informed us of what we will see. Small collection but if you are an enthusiast of history and war it is worth it. Very nicely presented.
Not big but beautiful and worth a visit
Very interesting exhibition about centuries of Bornholmian defense. Andreas is a great host.
We just were in this very interesting museum with lots of real exhibits and samples that made the military past very touchable and understandable for us. Thank you very much for your kind personal introduction and explanations into Bornholm's history that gave us a very good impression on the role your island played through the past centuries for you and all the foreign forces. Greets from the three german sailors
Friendly and Serviceminded staff. A lot of interest things to do for the entire familie . But check the weekly activity calendar before you go.

Lovely local market for meats, cheeses, honey, vegetables, beer, wine, olives, oil, ice cream, chocolate, garden plants, and many other things. A small menu was also available from the food truck. I enjoyed a delicious potato soup with chorizo on the patio listening to a nice accordion player.
Beautiful old slaughterhouse made modern with a local twist. A little cafe with coffee, drinks and simple and local food. Around in the building there a small shops with olives, cheese, spirits, a coffee roastery and a butcher.
Great offer of groceries and very friendly staff.
A little kind of Farmers Market with selected fresh goods, souvenirs (Bornholm noodles, May ceramics, soap and Wild-gin and vodka among them)and a marvelous coffee shop. Unfortunately never saw it very crowded. A little bit off the beaten path. - Have a coffee at Buchwalds Kafferisteri in the back and sip it in the quaint courtyard.
Local produce and food of high quality. You will find it here. Service is great in the cafè. The café cofee is roasted on premise and the food is just fresh, local and no nonsense. Café manager Ejner Trenter welcomes you with a smile and is ready to guide you.
Great house-marinated olives and sun-dried tomatoes. The 24mo aged Comte is also good.
Extremely expensive and false pictures, they do not have what the claim to sell in the catalogues you get on the boat. Disappointed
A small, but very nice market. Nice courtyard for coffee and sandwiches

old house and young garden - a painters paradise
(Translated by Google) Cozy little museum, we walk through the house a bit quickly - however we are always drawn to the kitchen. The garden is beautiful, and there is the opportunity to buy a plant from the garden to take home. The children pressed flowers that they could take home ❤️ We always have pancakes made over a fire on the stove in front of the charming kitchen. If the gardener is at work, have a chat with him, it is always nice❤️ (Original) Hyggeligt lille museum, vi går huset lidt hurtigt igennem - dog bliver vi altid draget af køkkenet.
