An absolute must for every visitor to jeri. it is a breathtaking experience to be on the dunes at sunset. Highly Recommended
Sunset is beautiful but because the wind, the sand crash on you and is kind of painful, also for your eyes! From the beach the sunset is also beautiful and the after sunset, that is always better ☀️
Really a must-see/do event while here. First, Duna Por do Sol (Sunset Dune) is so close to the town; second, if the sun is out, you will be in the company of hundreds of others who climb this gently sloping dune for a chance to take some spectacular sunset photos. There are people selling drinks up and down the dune, so you can make a small party out of the event.
Too crowded, there are other places on the coast to enjoy the sunset with less people. But in general, it's beautiful!
Sunset was quite good but better from the beach later. Sand dune a bit crowded but we were here on a bank holiday weekend
Nothing special really, just another sunset the sunrise was a lot nicer.
Great place to see the sunset. Beautiful panoramic view.
Have a break and enjoy the only place where you can really see the sun dive in the see in mainland Brasil. I loved this place.

Breathtaking view! The trail is also full of wonderful views! There are a lot of lizards on the way there that made the trail even more exciting and interesting through observing the local fauna.
Beautiful the hole in the middle of the sunset does a whole game of light which must be experienced, prepare your self for a long walk.
Nice spot to relax and enjoy the beach! Best to visit in the late afternoon to enjoy the sunset through the rocks.
Its an hour walk back and forth with a comfortable pace from the center. I left early in the morning at 06.30 i found this to be very rewarding cos it wasn't hot and there wasn't a lot of people there at that time of the day. the walk offers you a view of a different kind of vegetation - more green which means you get to see some cows and donkeys on the way. Its a cool tour to do whilst in Jeri
Nice view with a very colourful rocks background. Also, from the villa, it's a nice 30-minute hiking.
The most beautiful part is the trekking alongside the beaches through the hills. The rock itself is just a rock with a big hole in the middle.
A little bit of a walk but it’s good exercise and the view along the way makes every minute of it worth it! Make sure to budget a few extra minutes if you want a picture before the sunset - there’s a bit of a line for the photo.
Beautiful spot for a nice picture... the walking from the village via ocean shore is fantastic, but you really need to time it... otherwise the tide rises and you can get caught up.. it can be dangerous...

No Sloth here. The name is because the tree seems to be laying down, lazy like a Sloth ☺️
This is the most pointless attraction in all of Jericoacoara. It’s just a tree. And not even that great of a tree. And it takes like 30 minutes of driving on the bumpy roads just to get to it.
The tree really is beautiful, but there's always lots of people in line to take a picture
Interesting tree, but a lot of people queeing to take pictures of the tree...
This is one of the last manglar trees in the area. The tree is laying to the side because of the non stop strong winds. That's the reason for the name too. As you approach the tree you'll see a sing stating that it's forbidden to climb the tree. During the few minutes we spent there all of the visitors climbed the tree for their pictures. How silly the human being is, right?
Well, it's a tree lying down. No less. No more.
It's a nice tree with a beach background but to take quick photos only since there is a line and one shall not go into water
The most famous tree on Instagram :P You could skip it if you're doing a private trip

Not the best beach for a swim but a paradise for kite surfers. The light at sunset is amazing
This is the place to stay if you like kitesurf.
Loved it and next to it , enjoy great food in Vivendo no Mar

There a lot of tree playgrounds and structures. We can enjoy to take photos with them. And we can also buy souvenirs by handmade. It is very comfortable price. This scenery is not normal place. It makes you exited.
Great playground for young and old ... swings, climbing or just relaxing, everything is possible here. There are drinks and food at the beach bars ... An unforgettable experience with a buggy or 4x4
Interesting landscape created by the change in the ecosystem when previous vegetation did not adapt to the changing soil base...
It's some sort of dead swamp but it's beautiful and an awesome place to take pictures. Go early so it's less hot.

Very pleasant beach. Nice. Less people than Jeri. Some rocks but lot of sand. Guys are selling fresh water and coconuts. Some threes give a bit of shadow. Go up the hill, thé view is beautiful. Lot of small beach in the rocks with nonne.
A lovely spot if you want to stay away from the crowded areas
Nice place to seat under the palm trees but it’s not really a swimming beach as it’s quite rocky
Looks beautiful with all the rocks and the natural pools! Nowhere with a shade or any commercial activity though.
Amazing and free of charge. Bring your own beverage.
Excelllent for kitesurf. No so much for a day in the beach due to wind.
Beach full of rocks. Some places are not allowed kitesurfing
A beach away from the crowded Jeri and beautiful as usual in all the beaches in the region

Sprawling national preserve with 21,900 acres, featuring a sandy beach popular with windsurfers.

Nice protected national park with beautiful dunes and sunsets. Very sandy, like sand everywhere. Also nice to jog as many people did. Dog friendly.
Nice beach place but the beach isn't anything spectacular in my eyes. Low tide takes the water out a long way, high tide leaves a small beach & shallow water. Loads of kite surfers & a few surfers (small waves from what I've seen). The night time comes alive with restaurants & drink vendors, this makes Jeri more attractive...but everything closes at 1am :)
I am glad I went but I would not return. Getting there is a hassle. We hired a car from Fortaleza, then had to get a 4x4 into the park. You can fly to the nearby airport so that may be a better option. The dunes are beautiful but much reduced in size over recent years. The town is not unpleasant but a total tourist place. I prefer quieter places with less people. The beaches are not nearly as nice as the ones near me in Sao Paulo - hard sand and no shade anywhere. There was a lot of washed up rotting seaweed which was smelly and the water had zero visibility, maybe just the wrong time of the year. Lots of cars, buggies and motor bikes constantly racing around everywhere. It's a literal tourist trap as it is impossible to escape unless you take a 40 minutes bouncy ride back to Jeri, which is in effect leaving. It's really hard to self-cater because the local shops are very limited in what they have and are expensive. This must have once been a hauntingly beautiful place, but not anymore and would not make it into a top 50 list of places to visit in Brazil.
Absolutely beautiful. Try to walk a little instead of doing the standard buggy/4×4 thing (take some water with you, walking shoes, sun screen and flip flops). You will see amazing landscapes and have time to observe the beautiful birds, butterflies, crabs and plants.
Amazing spot to visit ! Desert dunes in front of the sea , lagoons , small oasis , mangrooves , and the small beautiful town of Jericoacoara! If you are in the north of Brazil pasing by Ceará you must visit it !
It’s a fantastic experience
Jericoacoara National Park is a breathtaking destination that left a lasting impression on me as a solo traveler. The natural beauty of the park is truly remarkable, with vast dunes, crystal-clear lagoons, and stunning sea views in every direction. The hiking trails are well-marked, making it easy to explore safely on your own, and there’s an incredible sense of peace throughout the area. Though you’ll want to check pet rules in advance, my dog was able to enjoy some quieter parts of the park, splashing in shallow waters and running across sandy stretches. The sunsets here are world-famous, and I found them well worth the visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking adventure, tranquility, and unforgettable scenery!
It's nice but too overcrowded with tourists, high prices, tourist tax is annoying and guides offering you everything everywhere is really bothering. More places along the coast are worth it too. My favorite Lagoinha, small town, people friendly, cheap and good food.

PC and crew were excellent at sorting everything needed to have an epic wing foil safari adventure from Cumbuco to Jerri over 7 days. He knows all the spots and all the right people to talk to to get things done. Thank you to all who made this trip so enjoyable.
Great place to learn how to kite! The whole experience was fun and safe:) My guide had many years of experience, explained well, and followed my pace of learning. If you have a couple of days to invest its a great sport to learn and this school treats you like family😊🩷
I learned to kite here, and in just five days I went from knowing absolutely nothing to getting up on the board and riding. The location is stunning and the whole team is very welcoming. The instructors are extremely skilled, especially Ghaspar and Daniel, who personally coached me. They’re not only highly professional, but also patient, friendly, and genuinely invested in helping you progress. Highly recommended!
I did not come to Jericoacoara to kite surf. I knew nothing about the sport except that it looked fun. I decided to try it anyways after seeing all the kite surfers after we arrived. It is expensive. There's always some anxiety when spending a lot of money that you'll get a good value. I would say Kiteiscool is absolutely worth it. I got to interact with most of their staff over the course of my lessons. I found everyone to be incredibly professional and kind. Every single employee were friendly. The lessons are incredibly in-depth. I found every step to be necessary to learn. This is a sport I'll need many weeks of surfing to get any good at, yet, I was genuinely impressed to see my own improvement. You'll likely need at least 3 days to stand up and surf, but I truly don't believe any time was wasted in getting to that point. Get yourself some cheap sunglasses and a floating band that attaches tightly. I lost a pair when I got hit hard by a wave.
Well organised transfers and quality kites, the rest of the gear could get renewal. The straps of the bindings on my board were way too big and couldn’t be adjusted. I got an harness without lease, so the teacher gave me his. I couldn’t call it a safe lease as it did not have the quick safety release, which made me feel unsafe. Also my teacher did not speak proper English, but did give me some good tips. I would recommend to check the gear per person before departure and not upon arrival on the beach
We did an 8-day private downwinder with Kiteiscool in November 2023 and it was an incredible trip. From the responsive early organization of our custom trip to the 250 miles of guided downwind kiting all the way to the time we ended our trip, Kiteiscool provided us with fantastic support throughout. We are very glad we worked with them on a custom tour that suited our group’s budget, skill-level, and pace. We have been on several kite cruises in the Caribbean and have interacted with schools and operators throughout the world and our experience with Kiteiscool was one of the best.
Had an awesome time in Jeri and certainly a great experience learning kitesurfing! Kiteiscool did a good job organizing the trips to Prea beach (~30min by van), where they have a little wooden hut, very convenient to store your stuff and seek some shade. Communication via WhatsApp was easy, their prices are competitive and decrease the more lessons you take. My instructor was the awesome! He spoke English and they use walkie-talkies for the lessons (student/instructor), that certainly helped a lot! Only minor remark: The equipment was ok, not top notch, and the lessons had to be paid in advance which I haven’t experienced in other countries so far. I’m super happy with the progress and my skillset after only a few days with Kiteiscool in Jeri (+ IKO certification) 🙌🏼 Can highly recommend to check out Jeri for a (kite) vacation, loved it there 😊 Even during „low season“ in early February we had around min. 9/10 to max. 18 knots, on average 12 knots every day! And definitely recommend Kiteiscool as a school!
The best kite school in the jeri area. Great staff, well trained instructors and the best location in Prea to learn how to kite. Thank you guys for teaching my 10 years old son how to kite. See you soon.

Expert guides tell the story of Jameson in a recreated distillery scene with tastings and dining.
Slide 1 of 8
It was incredible experience. Our tour guide was amazing. First you get free welcome drink - you have 3 options from Jameson (Jameson with lime and ginger is amazing). Then you go to first room, it’s about history of Jameson. Second room is about how to make Jameson and on third you learn about differences, how to smell and taste different Jamesons. With this guide, it was really amazing and I could stay longer than 45 minutes.
My wife and I took this tour on a Monday morning a few hours before our flight home and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very animated and obviously loved his job! Great tour through history all the way to current time. Definitely recommend this tour for any whiskey aficionados or anyone with just a taste for Jameson.
I paid about $26 for the Jameson Distillery tour and it was worth every penny. They start with a really cool 3D projector story about the history and how Jameson is made, then you move into a tasting room where you try four different Jamesons and learn how to properly smell and taste whiskey. It truly feels like a world-class experience. The premium ones were noticeably smoother (whiskey by itself definitely grows hair on your chest 😂), but it was fun, informative, and delicious. After the tasting, you get a drink included — they already have a bar set up with several cocktail options, and if you want another drink afterward you can buy more. The tour guide was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, and made it feel like he actually believed every part of the history. It was so good I found myself thinking, “Do y’all hire? I could work here too.” The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll even hold your bags if you’re coming straight from the airport like I was. There’s merchandise at the end if you want to shop, and the whole experience is just a lot of fun from start to finish. I would 100% come back and I’d tell anyone visiting Dublin to add this to their trip.
What an unforgettable experience at the Jameson Distillery! We opted for the Secret Whiskey Package and savored every moment. The tour was a delightful blend of history, craftsmanship, and fun, with fascinating insights into the company’s founder and the art of whiskey making. The highlight? Learning the skills of whiskey tasting, followed by a truly delicious sampling experience. Despite the bustling crowd of fellow travelers, the staff made us feel so special and welcome. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!
Had a fantastic tasting tour on my second visit to this iconic Irish distillery. The guide’s deep knowledge and entertaining presentation made the experience memorable. It’s no wonder Jameson remains one of the world’s top selling whiskeys. Highly recommended!
Exactly everything you'd expect from a distillery tour. Great tour guide, samples of the whisky, and the best ambiance. All the employees were stellar and very nice to chat with. You can also purchase exclusive bottles you can't get anywhere else in the world.
This is one of the best distillery tour I’ve ever done! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Our tour guide was really informative and had a great demote of knowledge about the history of Jameson’s. I’m not usually a Whiskey drinker but after trying a Jamesons, Ginger Ale and Lime in the bar I am converted.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jamison Distillery. I went with my husband and my daughter. It was very informative and quite interesting. There were several experiences during the tour. We tasted whiskeys that we hadn't tried before. Our new favorite one is Black Barrel. We've bought a bottle now that we're back home and have shared it with a neighbor. He is now a fan! I recommend going on this tour. It's fun, educational, and it even has a cute little shop inside.
