Nice place but most of the beaches difficult to reach by feet or just stay on more crowded place
Overall a great place but I'd recommend taking a car because its necessary to travel a lot

Rustic, scenic destination with a rocky shoreline & clear blue water for swimming & snorkeling.

Beautiful beach with all necessary amenities - it has beach beds and umbrellas to rent, toilet, outdoor shower, snack & drink bar and a restaurant. A bit of a climb so best if you can grab a bus on the way back. There are also stairs at the very end to reach the beach so it won’t work for people that aren’t mobile.
Beach was good . After evening, it is being full of waves and there's no sun so be carefull! There's a bar nearby that is selling almost everything, but its nothing special. There's also a public transportation ( a gren bus) that can bring u from the beginning of the way down to the end and its all free, but be carefull, the last ride is at 18.30, so organise yourself in order to be at the bus stop around 18!!
This place is WOW!!! The rocks on the shore as you walk further down the beach aren’t slippery. Just the waves will get you a bit, other than that amazing view on the other side of the big pink rock. If you want to experience something unique and pink this is the place!
August 6. Arrived at the public parking area 12:15. Guard said parking is now closed and will open again 1 o’clock, luckily he opened again 12:40. €10 for the whole day. Two sunbeds with umbrella €24 or 26 if you also want the bus ticket back. Restaurant is available.
Really beautiful beach!!! The water is clear and there is a lot to see underwater for people interested in a bit of snorkeling. Clean and not overly full of people. From the city of Sirolo there is maybe 20 minutes on foot and a bit more to return, but it can be done by everyone (I had with me a friend that is the opposite of athletic and he was able to do it...grumbling but he did)
'Sassi neri" is a renowned beach close to the Conero mountain and it's, for sure, a very nice place where to spend a day with a family or friends. But let's start from the beginning. After leaving your car in a parking you can choose between taking a bus or two different trails. First dirt road is not for children and not for unhealthy people. Don't take it also if you have only flip_flops because it's steep and dangerous. Second one is a normal road but steeper than the other. (If you take this solution you can also ask for bus service that cost 2 euro for the round trip) After 30 min (5 with bus) you will reach "sassi neri beach" a pleasant place sourrounded by green and lush vegetation with clear blue sea water. (for sure better than Emilia Romagna coast which is usually green). Down there, there is also a restaurant and few bars where to take a drink or a coffee. To conclude, Sassi Neri e San Michele is a very nice place but if you have altready been in Sardinia or Puglia or Sicily don't expect to find places like that. Cheers
Jul 28 ...Nice place after 6pm is not so crowded ... Water goes deep in a few meters ... Good for swimming ... Must try
How many times have I gone, in motion, and have also fallen, on foot or from the sea, already the mountain Conero is a natural spectacle in more this unique, wild and picturesque beach with rocky shoreline and crystal clear water, ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Fascinating place, especially when seen from the sea. Must go if you’ve never been!
It’s better to wear snickers than sandals. Nice views from view points. Not so many people there.
A good variety of trails to hike, ride on mountain bike or horseback, right above amazing beaches. It's also very quite except in august and the nearby villages offer all the services you might need. The smells and colours are beautiful in spring and autumn!
Great hiking possibilities, well shown signes and spectacular views.
A beautiful park, walks mainly in the shade or semi shade. Really good interpretation board for the geology with a viewing platform so you can easily see the Permian-Triassic boundary 65 million years ago, the end of the dinosaurs and many other groups including ammonites. Great coastal views on some of the walk.

It's 26€ for the umbrella, but it includes a ride back to your car or hotel. Also, there's public transportation of you don't want to rent an umbrella, but still don't want to walk to beach. They have very they have a lot of different varieties of food. Including sushi, lasagna, salads, sandwiches, pasta and rice dishes cold. Would return again.
We had such a wonderful time kayaking, all thanks to this rental company! The staff was not only very professional but also so kind and flexible with our plans. It's clear they love helping people and making tourists feel welcome. We recommend them highly!!
The beach was great, we got sunbed which were okay and the price good. I highly recommend to the Stabilimento to add a se ind Toilette, spending a beach day queuing for the toilette is not a pleasant experience. Additionally the CHIOSCO left us speechless, everything was pre bought, and just made to be put into the microwave. Nothing fresh, even the salads were bought and not made by them. Too much plastic, too much queuing also for the food and the price for not homemade food was just too high. If we come back we will bring our own food.
This restaurant is a 5 mins walk of the stairs fron San Michelle Beach. Needles to say it has an amazing view. We were greeted by a chef who was helping out the staff,as the place was packed at lunch. Seemed to be the owner but we are not sure. " We anyway appreciated the help to get a table fast. Service was incredibly fast considering the number of people present and great overall. The food was amazing and make sure you try their
Definitely an amazing small hike to the best spiaggia around Conero area. Only 30 mins
The beach is beautiful and so is the nature, period. Not all the roads to leave the beach are clear and you can easily get lost, is very crowded and when you’re ready to leave the place... good luck finding the bus/car that take you up. You might need fight for a place which it can ruin totally your expérience . Make sure you buy the full package before going down (like we did ) but even then going back would be a total nightmare.
I rented a canoe and then they were very rude to me and my friends. They tried to charge us more than the fixed value, they did not help at all after we were in a storm and worst of all they tried to scam us. Not happy at all with this.
Worst place ever. After 25 minutes walk in 33 degrees down a steep path, there’s only one place to eat (fully booked) and you can only rent beds on the 4th row. And then no sand. Terrible

(Translated by Google) A beautiful theatre!! The theater was built starting from the generous bequest of 5,320 lire by Alessandro Baldoni dated 8 October 1861. The nobleman's will was very clear: that sum was to be used solely for the construction of a new theatre, to replace the previous one. The undertaking immediately proved to be impressive, also because it was necessary to build a work of high artistic value, to be placed in a restricted area, avoiding the small dimensions of the previous structure, already aesthetically questionable and structurally precarious. However, the money in the hands of the municipality could not be used immediately as the will was contested by the branch of the indirect heirs of the Dionisi Vici who claimed ownership of it. The sentence of the Civil and Correctional Court of Macerata in 1866 in favor of the Municipality of Montecarotto. Only then was it possible to proceed with the establishment in 1867 of a commission for the preparation of a preliminary project which included technical tenders, the overall cost of the work, the location for the construction and measures to be implemented for the expropriation of the land for public utility. The designer of the work became the architect from Jesi Raffaele Grilli and the tender was won by the entrepreneur from Ancona Giuseppe Lanari. The works began in the spring of 1872 and, in full compliance with the delivery times, Lanari completed the wall structure on 8 March 1875. The paintings, artistic decorations and scenographic care followed, details completed in the summer of 1877 before testing and the declaration of usability of the complex. The first show took place on the following 8 September with the «Opera in Musica» Maria di Rohan by maestro Gaetano Donizetti (Original) Un bellissimo teatro!! l teatro è stato costruito a partire dal generoso lascito testamentario di 5.320 lire di Alessandro Baldoni datato 8 ottobre 1861.

(Translated by Google) The Church and the Square of Sirolo This historic church of the community of Sirolo, in addition to being a support for the soul, was certainly, with its bell tower, a "lighthouse" for its fishermen. In fact, towering on the hill, it seems to guide those who are at sea but above all it welcomes anyone who passes by, inviting them to enter the alleys of this village. Over the years, part of the village has given way to the square in front with its tree-lined avenue. And it was an excellent choice because from here a unique seaside landscape opens up for this Riviera. Personally, I believe it has nothing to envy of the most famous square on Capri.

The bell tower is in fact an ancient tower of the fortified system of the village. The current church dates back to 1732 and is dedicated to St. Nicholas of Bari. The view of the sea from the balcony in front is splendid.

(Translated by Google) "Whose wife are you?" is the question that if no one asked you, you wouldn't be able to say you've been to Sirolo. After that, you can also visit this beautiful church, built in 1765 on the remains of a religious building from 1230. Since the Sirolo area constituted an important disembarkation point for ships crossing the Adriatic, the inhabitants of the small village convinced Pope Alexander IV (born Rinaldo dei Signori di Jenne), through Bishop Arnolfo, to dedicate a church to the Patron Saint of the Mediterranean as well as Protector of navigators, or to Saint Nicholas of Bari. Saint Nicholas, in life, was bishop of Myra, a city in Lycia, in Asia Minor, famous throughout the world for its miracles. 18th century - On the right side of the main front of the church, Pope Benedict 1765 - The church was rebuilt within the walls of the castle built by the Cortesi Counts in the 12th century and restored in the 14th century. The same ones who sold Sirolo to Ancona for the noble title...not so courteous after all. 1970-80 renovation of entire property. The structure of the church is made of load-bearing masonry. However, following the seismic events of 1972 the building suffered damage of a different nature and extent, which was restored with works which also involved the consolidation of the walls and the dome of the bell tower. 1991 - The renovation work on the bell tower, interrupted due to the small sums of money made available, was resumed. These works involved the rectory and the bell tower of which the intermediate floors and the access staircase to the bell tower were rebuilt; the door was replaced and the floor was redone. ARCHITECTURE - The construction is in neoclassical style. The plan is a Latin cross, characterized by pillars with Corinthian capitals, barrel-vaulted apse and transept and six side chapels with stucco decorations. The main façade is in exposed brick masonry, with a cornice and gable in overhanging shaped bricks and white Conero stone. The remaining perimeter walls are in exposed stone masonry. On the right side of the main front of the church stands the stone bell tower with an oriental-style dome. ART - The altarpiece depicts the Protector Saint Nicholas together with the Virgin with the Holy House of Loreto, on the right San Rocco, on the left Santa Eurosia. The work belongs to Giacomo Foschi da Loreto. Other icons: Saint Lucia, Saint Dominic, the Last Supper, the transit of Saint Joseph by unknown 19th century authors, the copy of a painting by Maratta, the copy of a Madonna and Child by Rubens. The wooden crucifix from the 16th century by unknown authors and the ancient organ from 1723, recently renovated, are interesting. On the pavement in front of the church we can see the fish mosaic: the symbol of Christ combined with that of Sirolo, whose coat of arms depicts "Campo di cielo, natural sea bass floating on a countryside of blue swelled with silver." The varolo, which in the Ancona dialect designates a sea bass, is considered a symbol of the town. This species of fish, which can reach up to ten kilos in weight and one meter in length, is particularly widespread among the ravines and cliffs of the coast of Mount Conero. ARCHITETTURA - La costruzione è in stile neoclassico.

The church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Bari, bishop of Myra, a city in Lycia, in Asia Minor, famous throughout the world for his miracles. Flanked by a bell tower with a spire dome that rises over the village. The plan is a Latin cross with Corinthian-type pillars and capitals. In the central altarpiece, the Holy Protector with the Virgin sitting on the roof of the Holy House of Loreto, then the images of Saint Lucia and Saint Dominic, the Last Supper, and the transit of Saint Joseph by unknown 19th century authors. as well as a copy of a painting by Maratta and one by Rubens, which represents the Madonna and Child. Also interesting are a 16th century wooden crucifix by unknown authors, an ancient organ from 1723, recently renovated. If the review was helpful to you, please click on the hand, thank you. The tower that stands out has been converted into a bell tower and was certainly part of the old walls that protected the town (further on you will also notice an ancient Gothic arch).

It was built next to the houses of the historic center and the walls that surround the town at the behest of Bishop Arnolfo, under the pontificate of Alexander IV, in 1732 on the remains of a much older one from 1230. The church is dedicated to San Nicola di Bari. Booking sunbeds in August 2021 was perfect. It was the best week on this beach. Sunbeds clean, everything prepared like in a 5+ hotel, staff very friendly. Super shower and toilet close by. I recommend it to everyone. The beach is fabulous!
Quite the hike to arrive down about 5 flights of stairs, but amazing beach and great private experience
(Translated by Google) The most beautiful beach on the Conero Riviera, free shuttle to reach the beach, bar stocked with everything, from breakfast to snacks for various lunch options. Staff always available. If you want, you can reach the 2 sisters beach by renting a canoe from them instead of taking the classic refugee-style boat trip. Large umbrellas arranged, comfortable sunbeds, in short a paradise on the slopes of Monte Conero, lastly, having the beach located in the center of San Michele you have the sun until late afternoon. In a word, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This beach resort offers sandwiches and daily specials at discounted prices, showers, internet (because 4G doesn't work!), and canoe rentals to go to the Due Sorelle. The prices are average, even for dinner... everything was wonderful.
(Translated by Google) The umbrellas are well-spaced by Riviera standards, and the price is good (€30 for an umbrella and two loungers). The location is very pleasant and well-kept. The only downside: there's a charge for the shower (€0.20). Regarding food, I recommend bringing your own if you prefer fresh food. The rice had a lot of preservatives, and the piadina was packaged, but overall, the atmosphere and setting make for a pleasant day. There are amenities, and the staff is very friendly. Food aside, it would be a 5-star hotel.

If I'm not mistaken they also have a canoe rental service and perhaps other equipment, but we didn't use it.
