Tarija the cute is a city to the south of the Bolivia famous for the square that has big palms, nice gardens, one statue about Luis Fuentes y Vargas founder of Villa de san bernarndo de la frontera deTarija and beautiful water source of french style. The square is perfect to take photos for postcards, relaxing eating or drinking in any coffee bar and walking around to see the historical buildings of the town and first place of the Tarija the Cute
It's the main plaza in the city and is very well-kept and quite nice

Very lovely local food — the pork and crackling were absolutely insane, highly recommend going for that! The chicken was also extremely good, super tasty and well-seasoned. All the wine options were a little too sweet for our taste, but still enjoyable. There was even live music, which added a great touch to the atmosphere. Also, do not miss the pancake lady near the entrance/exit — they were sooo good! Highly recommend overall!
It is an old Hacienda where produce viniards, eines and singanis located at Uriondo Municipality at least 20 km far away from Tarija City. I arrived quite early and they where cleaning, so I could not give you further information.
The Building is lovely for a visit but for god's sake don't do the wine tasting there. They let you stand around in a circle and your drinking 5 wines followed by a shot of singani. All of the wines from the same glass. No explanation whatsoever, it's just a drinking game with drinking quotes in between. And the wines are cheap and horrible.
I'll give it 5 stars for the very welcoming staff and the fun tour that they offered. The lady doing the wine/moonshine tasting was hilarious. The wine though is really really sweet and I personally didn't like it. The place also has a big restaurant area.
Winery with artisanal production. There are good wines for sale that has won prize
What an adorable place! It is a very antique bodega where you can try wines (maybe a bit too sweet for french taste) and eat typical food for very reasonable prices (from 15bs to 35bs) in a very nice atmosphere !
An exciting place where the wine was made by men's feet, it is called Foot wine.
Great place to see the real Tarija! And what this place can offer, great food, great views and if you go on a weekend you might stay there to dance !

Casa Dorada (Golden House) is one of the most ornate buildings in town center Tarija and a must see. Constructed between 1878 and 1903 the house currently houses cultural events and expositions. There is also a library and temporary exhibits. Plan arround half an hour to 45 minutes for your tour.
A beautiful historic house in Tarija. Guided tours are 15bs per person and last 45 minutes. They start every hour.
Very nice visit, only down side: no photos permitted
nice place..to take into account..that this building appears in the 20 bs bill ..of course in the series that are being replaced gradually
City cultural center. Tours are very entertainning and informative; you will not regret. All restored to its original shape.
This was my great uncle Moises Navajas residence. I am so glad it has been preserved. A slice of the past.
Amazing eclectical heritage building in the center of the city

This is a wonderful museum with impressive exhibits. The fossils were my favorites but the minerals and history of human migrations were educational. I highly recommend a visit!
This museum boasts an impressive collection of prehistoric animal skeletons and fossils from the local area, all in excellent condition thanks to the dedicated efforts of three amazing preservation specialists. The guides are warm, friendly, and provide thorough explanations, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tarija – you're sure to have a great time!
Small museum for archeology and paleontology enthusiastic, the fee entrance could be variable depending on you. Overall the museum helps to understand ancient life forms and cultures before Inca occupation. 2 hours activity.... highly recommend if you love history enthusiast
A pleasure to visit. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and there are multiple rooms featuring complete and partial skeletons of the impressive megafauna of the region of Tarija, together with regional mineral structures and human skeletons varying in age up to around 7500 years, along with their artifacts. All in all, an excellent place to help you imagine the rich sequence of natural worlds that existed (and in a sense, continue to exist) where the enchanting city of Tarija lives today.
Very nice place, doesn't have much to show, but the fossils and precolonial artifacts are from Tarija region. And the entrance is free.
My husband and I needed to fill an hour of our time before a wine tour and decided to swing by this museum… and I am so glad we did! The staff there were so wonderful and passionate. They also spoke great English so we were really able to understand the significance of what we were looking at. I am not a “museum type” but I had a wonderful time here! Their collection is incredibly impressive and I was happy to support the good work they are doing by paying the 20BOB entrance fee. Definitely worth checking out when you are in Tarija!
This museum was a highlight of our time here in Tarija. The employee (I never got his name unfortunately) spoke great English and was obviously very passionate about his work. He gave us a private tour which we did not expect and at no extra charge. He was informative, personable and went into depth about the history and behind the scenes of the museum. We could hold and touch real fossils. The museum had human skeletons as well which was fascinating. I loved every moment of this experience and I cannot recommend the museum enough!!
Verry small museum but filled with fossils found locally some complete specimans and some incomplete well worth the visit since its free,

Very unique tower. Nice view from the top
Lets be honest, it doesn't look like wine glass, especially when at night it is purple... free entrance and there is no wine in the wine glass.
Nice spot to view the city. Easy access; however, there is no ramps for wheelchairs.
Nice view, worth a visit if in the neighborhood.
Good but it needs maintenance
Great view of tarija

A really nice park with nice restaurants and cafes surrounding it. Also you will find ATMs nearby. Exchange Houses will give you a better rate than an ATM though.
Sucre Plaza was a nice place to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the park.
Very quite. Alot of coffee shop. Ice-cream shop. And activity
Nice little square surrounded by restaurants and cafes.
Nice place to go and enjoy a bit of fresh air with the family, with many restaurants around where to enjoy yourselves.
Great place to take your family, dog, friends or any kind of company filled with great choices of foods and deserts, that go from the regular ice cream to a great parfait, and food that go from a barbecue in a restaurant to a burger in a mobile shop, the local government garnish the entire place in the holidays, so it's a nice place to take pictures
A lively place to meet friends and have dinner
Nice park. Surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops. Popular with the young crowd and just a few blocks away from the main square.

(Translated by Google) We were escaping the heat, and we saw that it is smaller than in the photos. There was no recognizable lifeguard. There is no health control for entry. The locker rooms flooded and without staff to clean and take care of them. Hazardous work was carried out on the edge of a pool with people in it. Very irresponsible. (Original) Fuimos escapando al calor, y vimos que es mas chico que en las fotos. No había guardavidas reconocible. No hay control sanitario para ingreso. Los vestuarios inundados y sin personal que los limpie y cuide. Se realizaban trabajos de riesgo al borde de una pileta con la gente en ella. Muy irresponsables.
