Good view of the city and ocean. The area is a bit run down and there isn't much there. There does seem to be a lot of mountain biking trails around that I'd love to try.

It is a good place to oversee Lima. And that is about that. I am not blaming Peruvian about leaving the entire area desert-ish consider Lima is in a desert. But unless you are into mountain bike, there is really nothing else around. The good thing is it is not too far from the main area. So a quick stopping by is still not a bad idea.

The government should beautify the place as it has a lot of potential. It's just the statue and around it barren desert. During cloudy/overcast days, it does look quite ugly. The government should put some more in the area to make it more lively as it is really popular for people who want to bike up the hill. Went here on a Lima bike tour.

Well-known beach & popular surf & swim area with umbrella rentals, showers & restrooms.

This beach is amazing we had some of the best times jumping the waves. The waves were nearly 15 feet high and perfect for surfing there were many people here but it felt very private if you rent an umbrella for a very small amount of soles you can have your own two chairs and you get beer with it. I would totally come back to this beach someday I hope to be able to return and tour the city more than I got to in the two weeks I was just there. I definitely plan on returning to Surf this beach again.

Sandy beach, safe to swim. Can rent 2 chairs & umbrella for 30 soles, totally worth it. Worth a taxi ride if you want to swim at the beach. There are some free showers near a fenced in soccer field. Bathrooms cost 1 sole, bring your own toilet paper.

It’s a nice beach and I left my stuff unattended but nothing got stolen. I got there about 12:30pm Saturday afternoon. It’s 12 minutes from Miraflores (by car). The only safety issue I had was that there was no lifeguard to be seen so play it safe when in the water.

We came during Covid when IDs and such were required. Today we are back Nov 2023 and it's even nicer, even cleaner. Perfect for little ones as the water is shallow for a LONG way. Chair/umbrella combo available for rent. 30 soles for 4 hours, might be the whole day price. Bring cash, vendors selling EVERYTHING. Full meals, snacks, towels, sand toys, even bathing suites! They walk right up to you! This was during the week when it wasn't busy, I can only imagine how many vendors are around on the weekend.
