A Perfect Wedding Day – Thank You, Moddershall Oaks! We had our wedding at Moddershall Oaks and it was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. The entire experience exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Firstly, the grounds are absolutely stunning – the picturesque scenery made for the most beautiful backdrop for our photos and created a magical atmosphere throughout the day. The food was outstanding – every guest commented on how delicious it was. What really made the day so special though was the incredible staff. Every single member of the team was welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly. Moddershall Oaks gave us the wedding day of our dreams, and we’ll be forever grateful for the care and effort that went into making it so memorable. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough – thank you for everything!
Spectacular wedding venue ❤️ We had an incredible wedding at Moddershall, the whole team were nothing short of amazing. So helpful, kind and accommodating. We had the best day, delicious food and great service throughout the day. So many of our guests complemented the whole day from start to finish, not the mention the great facilities with the pods. Beautiful memories of this place to last a lifetime - thank you all from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
Wow Moddershall oaks spa retreat was everything and more. Myself and my husband had the best spa package night away, staff incredible, facilities were so well kept and not too busy. Sauna over looking the outdoor pool was beautiful. Food amazing and great portions. Everything has been fabulous and we can not wait to return. My husband was 40 and he received a plate with brownie, strawberries and happy birthday written in white chocolate. Thank you for a wonderful relaxed stay.
My daughter treated me and her sister to an evening spa experience yesterday. Such a fabulous treat. The staff team were attentive ,friendly, polite and professional. The facilities were clean, warm and beautifully fragrant. The treatment was superb, the best I've ever had. I'm definitely booking again straight away.
I went to my niece's wedding here recently. It's lovely with gardens and a lake beautiful for photos.Great location. Ample parking. Food was fabulous, drinks reasonable. We all had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place.
This was my second visit, and it certainly did not disappoint! Every member of your staff is truly lovely and makes the experience special. From the excellent table and pool service for food and drinks to the fantastic treatments, everything was superb.
Highly recommend this spa. Ideal location with lovely views. Me and my wife booked a package they entitled us to a treatment and 2 course meal with full access to the facilities for half a day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent. Please ensure you have the food as it was amazing quality. Don’t hesitate and book today!
What a stunning spa. We booked a 5 hour spa package which included a 2 course lunch and 25 minute treatment. Whenever lunch is included with a spa package, it's usually tiny, disappointing and half hearted. This was none of those things. There was so much choice, it was totally delicious and a really generous portion. The spa itself was stunning, not over crowded and the service was excellent. The treatment was up there as one of my best yet. Cannot recommend this place enough.

A big shout out to this facility. Our Son just had his 14th birthday celebrations here & it was really well organised & handled by Flip Out. The staff are friendly & efficient, the food was reasonably priced, & as parents, we had little to do apart from drink tea & coffee & have a chat. Thank you to Benjamin for being so professional & providing great service.
We went here with our 2 children (12+6). Staff we great and welcoming. It was quiet when we was there only 2 other families. They had a brilliant time been here a few times now. Music just the right volume and plenty to do to keep the kids entertained. Arcade machines here too and bouncy castles to go on and a football pitch with great theme throughout.
Took my 7 year old grandson. Booked 2 hrs. No getting in early which was good as not too many in at one time. Grandson had a brilliant time, hardly stopped except to have a quick drink. Staff good at keeping an eye on safety aspect. First hour was quiet so my grandson loved it. 2nd hour was a bit busier with more bigger kids but no problems. Cafe was decently priced but had to wait a while for our order. Would recommend for kids if you want to wear them out.
Booked Flip out in Stone for my son’s Birthday party and it was nothing short of fabulous! Party room was set up lovely and Fearne happily put up banners that we took in and cut up the cake for all the kids to take away! Food was great and ready for the kids when they came up from their bounce! The kids absolutely loved the vibe! The arena is great as so much to do and they really had the best time! Service was great and all staff really lovely, friendly and helpful! Thanks again 🤩🤩
Staff are really nice and always around the staff on the arena were very friendly when speaking about the rules and made sure that everyone was being safe this was very good to see. Food in the cafe is well priced for what you get and drinks are cheaper than you expect. Place is clean and the toilets nicely decorated and vibrant.
The guy on the desk was very patient, after our booking mishap he helped us sort it out, he was lovely. The staff on the arena floor who were walking around were quite rude, some people had never been here before and the way that the 1 guy spoke to them was very rude. Even the young girl who was walking around and aat in the inflatable section had no smiles no happiness in them.
Place is ok but not policed properly if no sock was told can't go on the floor need sit in cafe upstairs while sitting in cafe seen around 3 adults jumping without socks couple of kids also jumping with staff watching & doing nothing about it. Complete joke as wasn't even busy Saturday evening 1/11/25 16.00-17.00
We have just left from here and me, my partner and 2 young children were covered in mites. My partner checked if others had the same bugs on them too which they did have. He then went in to report it and he was told they are aware of the bugs that they have an infestation of these tiny mites. If they are aware of a mite infestation the place should not be open.

Check in was easy. The facilities are a great size and I love that each area is clearly marked for age groups. Equipment was clean and well maintained. Like that the tables go all the way around the sides, not bunched together in a corner. Had some coffee and a bite to eat as well. Lovely morning out. Will definitely be back.
We did a mascot visit here not so long ago. This is a great place for kids parties. Plenty for them to do is a lovely sized room upstairs for the food. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking at the front of the building.
My 4 and 5 year old loved this place. Lots of variety of play. We didn’t have any food so cannot comment on that. The car park got full but I’m guessing this is due to the set play slots they offer so everyone arrives at the same time
Great play area for older children. Desperately needs toys in the area for the 0-2's, I asked for some in case they had just forgotten to put them out to be told they don't offer toys in that section, disappointing. The wooden highchairs also need TLC, the buckles were broken on 2 we had to use.
There are good and clean facilities. However, this is not the safest play environment for very young children. There is a 0-2 year old zone that was constantly over run by much older children. There’s a 0-5 year old zone which again much older children use and then a 5+ zone. Given the issues with the 0-2 and 0-5 zone being over run by much older children. It restricts the play of the younger children these areas are designed for due to safety. There was also no staff ensuring the ages of the zones were adhered to. For this reason, unfortunately I wouldn’t return. We also left 30 minutes before our session ended due to this reason and it not being fair on our child.
The soft play was fantastic, we have a 2 year old and 1 year old. The 0-5 section was safe, but big enough to keep them entertained, and a good slide ☺️ Losing a star as we specifically booked a morning slot to treat the adults in our party to an English Breakfast, however they had ran out of hash browns, and were running low on mushrooms. The word from the kitchen was "there's no point having one" (the English Breakfast), then when asking for substitutes the kitchen refused. All felt a bit awkward from the kitchen, although the staff at the tills tried to be accommodating. In other news, good supply of milk alternatives, and decent coffee ☺️
Visited today for the first time with our baby. Was nice and clean. The staff were helpful. Variety on the menu but a little pricey. Highly recommend.
Love this place for the kids to burn of energy. Plenty of areas to suit all ages to approximately 12 years I'd say The two hour slots mean there is always ample parking and it's not too busy to appreciate. The cafe offers a great choice of refreshments. I've always found it to be clean and safe for my kids to enjoy fully.

Awesome music and drinks!
Massive disappointment. Had read the great reviews so was expecting great things. Couldn’t have been worse. We visited on a Tuesday so perhaps we were just served the weekend leftovers, but the two real ales were rubbish- tired, old and flat in seconds. Service ( for us)was appalling too. Barman ignored us and served a regular who arrived at bar after us. I know the score, you have to look after regulars, but at least acknowledge the person who has been waiting. Looks a decent pub with loads on offer but if you serve crap beer with appalling manners, my money ain’t coming your way. We spent 3 nights in Stone and every other place we visited served good beer with a smile and a chat.
Love this place. Traditional, live music, great choice of beers and drinks, it's like a pub should be!
The outside area is a good place on a sunny day.
Brilliant pub, very old, great atmosphere, staff great, beer garden and live music.
A lovely pub, did exactly what the board outside said. Roaring fires, Dog friendly and boasting a wide selection of beers, ales and wines. Lovely pub and highly recommended.
Brilliant pub always good choice of beer .live music
Absolutely fantastic pub. Great atmosphere and a great selection of cask ales. Pint or two of one of my favourite beers, Abbeydale Deception, cant go wrong at £3.30 a pint.

Great choice of good beer. Around £4 a pint. Funny chatty barman. Not your regular pubs but highly recommended.
Fantastic evening at the Borehole . Lovely, friendly pub . Yummy hearty food . Great ales . A real gem of a pub .
Loved The Borehole Tucked Away In Stone, Family Had Visited Before, So Visiting From Turkey Was A Lovely Visit, Food Was Very Nice Freshly Made & Delicious! Not The Cheapest But Of Good Quality 👍 Quaint Indoors Area As Was The Outside Area - Beer Selection Excellent & Will Be Returning Keep Doing What Your Doing, It’s Great 😁
I had my 50th birthday party in the boiler room bar last night and it was an amazing night. Sarah and all the team couldn't of been better and went above and beyond to make it a great night. If your having a party or just looking for somewhere a bit different to go for some great beer definitely give the Borehole a go, it's an absolute Gem in Stone. X
Cracking local pub with a small, but carefully curated, selection of cask ales. We regularly visit on Thursdays for the quiz night where you’re well looked after and the midweek munch over winter (£8 for a pint and a good bowl of beef stew) is dangerously good! Be aware that there isn’t a regular substantial food offering but if you arrive hungry they’ll sort something out for you!
A Most Splendid Evening at The Borehole Good gentles all, lend me thine ears, for I must needs speak of The Borehole, a tavern most rare and pleasing. Verily, never hath mine eyes beheld a house of mirth so fair nor my lips tasted ale so heavenly. Yet ‘tis not the drink alone that lifts this humble inn to glory, but the service most divine of one Oliver Mullockshore. This Oliver, a man of noble cheer and nimble wit, doth serve with such grace and swiftness that e’en kings might envy his manner. He attendeth to each guest as though they were of royal blood, and with but a smile doth banish all care from the weary heart. In troth, his presence alone could turn the sourest cider sweet. When next thou wanderest in search of good company and honest cheer, hie thee to The Borehole, where the ale doth flow as freely as laughter, and where Oliver Mullockshore reigneth supreme in kindness and goodly service. Thus I proclaim with full heart and foaming cup — five stars, and would give five more if heaven allowed! 🍻
Sorry about this but needs to be said, I took a mate to visit and it was my first time as well visiting your establishment, the staff, the beer and atmosphere were great but the thing really annoyed me was what you called lobby! My mate from the states was looking forward to it after I told him what it was, but when it arrived all it was just gravy. O sorry one tiny piece of potato in mine!! When I make lobby it's chunks of beef, carrots, swede, parsnips, potatoes and onions that's what I was expecting, all we got was what's left over gravy after everything has been taken out. Fine bits of meat in the gravy. So please educate whoever makes it what goes into a lobby!
Stunning pints in a lovely, friendly place.

Great food at very reasonable prices. Totally worth it!😍 specially I love eggs benedict there for breakfast
Work in Stone a couple of days per week so have been coming in for my lunch. Lunchtime offers are great. Soft drink and a meal for just under 8 quid! Drink served within a couple of minutes to the table and the food is always quick as well! Longest I’ve waited is about 5 minutes for my food. Great service
First thing that came to mind on entering No Sticky Carpets especially no sticky floor at Bar either. Very friendly and helpful staff when choosing guest beers. Typical Spoons Toilets upstairs but again clean. Really couldn't walk away without showing off the gents Toilets very Art Deco.
Everything you’d expect from a Wetherspoons, less than 10 minutes away from the 🚂 station. Great choice of cask ales on sale on a Monday lunchtime.
Burger i order was alright but not piping hot, like other places I've ordered from. Chips weren't as hot as id of like, they were more best described warm. The drinks are fine but what is odd that it came 2 minutes after the meal, normally well before you receive the meal when ordering. There is plenty of choice on the menu but I think there is too much choose to where I think its hurting the overall food experience. Girlfriend ordered ham egg and chips but they didn't come out hot at all, genuine not worth the money for barely hot food. Atmosphere looks dingy, I'd think the windows providing more light then the low lit warm bulbs they use up ahead. Not exactly comforting when your eating. Feels more empty and cold then a warm an inviting environment. Warm colours suppose to say inviting but place wasn't the look of inviting. Place was busy but it felt empty with its dated decor choice. Verdict, not recommended, wouldn't come again Update - Threw up later at home. Genuine think burger wasn't cooked enough
Good meal. Service was exceptionally slow as kitchen was backed up and they appeared to be understaffed. Those that were there worked very hard to cheerfully manage guests and orders.
Had a breakfast meal £2.99 for a breakfast muffin and unlimited coffee Bacon Sausage egg In a muffin It was a solid 8/10 very surprised and for that money wow cant complain at all. Controversial but I rate it better than maccies muffin
there is no pub that i have ever felt more uncomfortable in then the post of stone. the women behind the bar, could not stop staring at me and my friends, making us very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The level of service is atrocious and i would urge anyone to avoid this place, unless they enjoy dirty looks and rude staff.

We've been a few times now as our local, staff are lovely and really accomodating. The food is really good and well priced and the parking is very convinent. There is a lovely outside area where you can see the canal boats, and a pool table. I am really surprised to see any less than 4+ reviews so wanted to comment on some of these that I have read, the place is quite like a cottage inside with hard floors and I imagine at some times it can get a little dusty however I can be quite funny about cleanliness and did not notice any issues. The cutlery, plates , bathroom, glasses, tables and bar were all immaculate however I am sure if you looked hard enough on the top of a lamp you may find some dust! We eat out quite a lot and found the food tasted really good, one day a few months ago the chef who was in and out of the kitchen made a very high standard of food that we had to thank him as we were really impressed. I am sure they heard my partner tell me we couldn't get deserts as we had spent our budget and brought out cakes for our children. They said these were left over, but it was a really lovely thing for them too do. The staff are very lovely and always make my children smile. Thank you very much. It gives you a family feel, there was activities for children and my little girl spilled some glitter, which I am sure will be very hard to all get up and as I was trying, the lady told me not to worry and that it adds some sparkle. So if you are supporting a local pub, I would absolutely recommend this one and I would take any poor reviews with a pinch of salt as I'm sure if there was any issues they would be solved given the customer service is so good. It is rare to find somewhere like this, a little tucked away gem <3. Thank you again.
Awful meal wasn’t expecting much but this was terrible! Don’t eat here! The spot is lovely. We’re picking up our hire boat at Norbury and thought we’d stop for lunch to set us up for the day …should have read the reviews first 🤦🏼‍♀️ the side salad was disgusting and you’d just leave it off the plate you would not send it out if you had an ounce of pride in your job!
Honestly, I don’t usually leave reviews unless I felt it was really good, or really bad! In this case, really not good at all. My partner and I went for a meal as a late birthday thing and some ‘us’ time. I ordered the chicken platter and my partner had a mixed grill. Upon ordering along with 2x Pepsi the price was just over £43 - which personally I found a little expensive compared to other places. I wouldn’t have minded so much if the food was actually worth eating. Before bringing the food out, we was then told there’s no eggs - not a massive deal. The service was quick, probably a wait of 10 minutes (it wasn’t busy). Most of my plate was overcooked, my partners mixed grill came without the egg (stated) but also no mushrooms and both plates had no half grilled tomato - instead just half baby tomatoes that were fresh. There was a lady on another table taking a drink back to the bar as there was lipstick on her glass. Upon hearing this my partner and I looked a little closer around. The sides had thick dust and cobwebs. We definitely will not be returning - also while writing this, just a couple hours after the food, my stomach isn’t so great. I luckily made it home just in time.
Hate to say this but the food wasn’t great, fish was ok, paid for a lunchtime special £9.99 for a small fish chips peas, + garlic breaded mushrooms for an extra £2.50, I got 7 on the menu they are £5.99 so that’s nearly £1 per mushroom🤦 the guy behind the bar and the girl cook were great, no complaints about them at all.
Visited midweek for some lunch. The pub was very busy and had a really nice atmosphere with a great buzz. I ordered at the Bar and had great service from the person behind the bar and the person who delivered the food. Couldn't fault what we ate, came out hot and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back again!
If you're looking for the best and most friendly pub this side of.........anywhere. You just found it. The Star at Stone is fantastic. Great atmosphere, good value and quality. Really enjoyed my visit. Thanks guys, keep up the good work. I will be returning soon.
Nice food great staff. Dog friendly buzzy place
Food was chucked together by a child , no crispy onions and no chopped chives and it was cold,,, oh and when I got home I found I was charged 17.59 for the meal with half of coke when it states the nachos were 8 pounds , so I got robbed as well😳

Fantastic Brewery led by simply fantastic people. Great tasting traditional ales and a brewery that's great for hosting a range of events. Thanks to Sarah, Brad and all the team.
Unfortunately won't have anything to do with this company when they employ staff like this. Incredible that (publicly) their team will be so comfrontational and abusive to potential customers. Literally all i had said was 'i don't understand why so many people have such an issue using card payments over cash at a bar'. And this the response (from a stranger to me). Businesses are made or fail on behaviour of the people they choose to lead them. This is one who shouldn't be supported with people like this at the helm.
Excellent service as always, and having ordered a pack of Ein Stein (my favourite beer) I didn't expect it to be delivered the same day. The quick service is much appreciated and it won't be long before I order again.
Went here for a birthday party. It was, like a lot of these places, very industrial. The staff were great and the place functioned well as a venue. Can't speak to the beer, as I was driving, so was on the ginger beer (that was okay).
Attended the first Tour after lockdown #3. Nice and covid safe environment. Tour was well worth the money and the talk Ian gave was insightful and humourous. Beer is top-notch and after understanding how it is made I can appreciate the taste more. Tour was £15, with as much beer as you can drink a d a bowl of lobby and some bread. Nice to be able to contribute to the local economy as well...
The brewery tours are really informative, showing the whole brewing process, the history of the estate plus great tasting ales to consume too. I'd highly recommend booking a visit for something a little bit different.
There are so many positive things I could say about this brewery and Ian who saved it. The brewery trip is amazing and a bargain £24. The Bore Hole pub on site is incredible for ales and atmosphere especially with dog owners. And if you can find a better pint than Einstein A GoGo I’ll bear my arse in Burtons window as we used to say up north. All in all this brewery is the best.
What a quirky little place to party ! and we did brilliant staff and drinks I was made to feel very welcome at Lymestone Thank you guys cant wait to rocking this brilliant little brewery again

Amazing pub, proper fire and Greta beer with a good selection of bar snacks. Love it
I was impressed by the enthusiastic attitude and thoughtfulness of them. very cozy and nice pub! ☺️
Well, it’s not like another brewery pub that I know but it will do! Bravo, apart from some choice wallpaper. No Cask Marque?
A proper pub! Comfortable, large selection of beverages including cask ale from Titanic brewery. Good atmosphere, and a roaring fire to help you thaw on those winter days. What's not to like?
Welcoming Titanic pub, with plenty of beers from the brewery. Friendly atmosphere and inviting ambience, all clean and organised. Prices reasonable and beers were well kept.
It is an excellent traditional pub with a bustling atmosphere, serving fantastic Titanic beers on tap. The Plum Porter is a must if you can only have the one!
What a pub! Plum porter will be dreamt about and sought forever. Real fire, real beer, real people. Total bliss!

Had a very nice visit to this site. There are walks galore everywhere . We did a circular walk either side of the stream.Weather hot in the afternoon which was nice.
Downs Banks National Trust site is a beautiful place to visit for a walk through some gorgeous Staffordshire woodlands with great views. Parking is limited and can be a little tricky as there are limited spaces so roadside parking might be the option. A car with good clearance is also a bonus when parking at this site. There's a good cafe on site and the walks take you past streams and some wonderful views. If you're Staffordshire way then a visit is highly recommended.
Myself, my wife and my in-laws came to a cottage near Blythe Bridge for our wedding anniversary. We had looked at a few places to go out for walks (ourselves and the dogs), and we decided on Downs Bank first. We're so pleased we did. There is ample parking for around 40 cars. We did a few easy walks as both of my in laws are getting on in years. But, there are a lot more challenging walks for those that like to get the heart rate up. Benches around the bank are a little hard to find but there are sufficient for just taking a brief moment near the stream. We were here in January and we couldn't have asked for better weather, and being early in the year, the cold and lack of children had made this a beautiful place to stroll around with very few people/kids or dogs to break the relative tranquility of a lovely place. Once you have done the walk a couple of times the chance of a different type of photograph have gone, but then you could start to get creative about differing points of view and shots to try. Overall I would highly recommend Downs Bank for all ages and abilities.
Visited on a chill Autumn day with our two doggies. Absolutely lovely little area of nature. Beautiful and varied walks with various surfaces mildly muddy in some spots. The autumn colours on the trees were a sight to behold. This area is popular with dog walkers and many are off the lead, if you have nervous or reactive dogs you may want to avoid. We had no big issues but did hear a couple of episodes in the distance where dogs were obviously not getting on as well as you would like.
Absolutely lovely little spot to visit - remember a towel! Took my daughter and our puppy, lovely little walk through woodland and heathland. Plenty of spots for a picnic and a lovely little shallow river for paddling in - child and dog 😂 Extremely dog friendly, wasn't overly busy probably about a couple of dozen people and most walking their doggies. Free parking and a lovely little coffee van parked up just through the ford which was very reasonably priced. I paid £2.80 for a latte and they do Puppacino's
Absolutely beautiful. My boy and the doggies had a wonderful time. Not a piece of litter in sight, had such fun in the little stream, stopped for coffee at the coffe trailer. Just a lovely morning walk ❤️
A hidden gem. Very scenic, quiet and relaxing.
Such a lovely walk. Had to go early in the morning before it got too warm which meant other dog walkers were too so it can get busy. People were very friendly which is always a plus. The cows didn't mind all the dogs, just make sure your dog is undercontrol or it's not fair on the cows. My Zuko didn't mind em, don't think he even noticed them to be honest. A very nice stream on some of the walk. The dogs seem to love it. Didn't see any algae which I always worry about. The water is running to that helps keep it clear. Definitely will go again 😁

Always a friendly atmosphere. A good range of beers available including plenty of choice from their gin collection. Always happy to provide help and advice with drinks and mixers.

Today I had the most amazing flavoured cappuchino in Stone, how I wish I'd found it sooner. Can't wait to have the real chocolate hot chocolate next. Such friendly staff and customers added to a uplifting experience.
A great experience and service. Friendly staff and I fully recommended visiting this place. Didn’t have food so can’t review.
Very pleasant experience here. Excellent Bacchus beer, Pornstar Martini and wines. Must come more frequently!
Good coffee - very busy with lots of friendly folk
Very good cocktails..not cheap but still good value.

Been to multiple of the bike nights held here, staff are always friendly and quick with the drinks, great local pub feeling. Much adored by everyone in the local bike scene.
Lovely place, nice and relaxed. Great bar staff
Went on a quiet Tuesday evening. Sat outside for an hour. Good range of drinks. Never eaten here. Excellent local venue for music
We love this place and always stop if we are in the area.
Amazing pub Great bar staff
Nice environment, drinks and looking forward to trying the food. Had a meat pizza today. It was lovely!'
Great live music, great atmosphere and great drinks, what else can I say
What a a change! The new owner has done a fine and great job. Cosy and heritage chic. Really good service with not only a bowl of water brought over for the bear (our dog) but also a bed for him to lie on. Had a pint of maltsmith. A really good IPA. A lovely feel with jazz playing. A sign saying 'musicians welcome' and books to read, plus food will be on the menu very soon. I recommend the bridge for everyone in stone to visit. We definitely will be back.

Very good pub!! Have pool and darts, absolute blast of a night out. Can’t remember much but I remember the atmosphere being electric.
A great pub with mixture of young and old but with no bother!, good banter local or not!
Lovely beer. Friendly regulars. Pool table is a good addition as very few Stone outlets have one.
Nice pub, pleasant atmosphere
Great little pub , great drinks great service . Thank you Jaime!
This pub is currently closed, hence the one star. The brewery's looking for a new tenant currently. Will need a bit of work done on it, but could be a decent local if managed well.
Small cosy pub with 2 rooms. Good beer. Screen in one for sports. Home made food available for little money.
Nice local pub, traditional English. Nice warm building, open fire. Light background music. Two large televisions. No pool table. Darts board. Friendly staff. Friendly atmosphere.

Nice little pool the pool is very clean and staff are very friendly.my child loves doing his swimming lessons here we travel from Stafford to stone as my son enjoys going. He had lessons at other pools but didn't like swimming teachers as they shout at him. But here they explain things to him he always comes out with smile..he doing so well in his lessons I Would recommend 100%
A really good facility. Clean and set up with all necessary options. Pool large sports hall outside football pitches squash courts. BUT often closed due to maintenance issues. Staff are often uncaring. It feels like an awful waste of an excellent opportunity for the local population.
Way below average, too many kids and not enough individual attention or encouragement. You get what you pay for and have moved my child to a private swim school where after only two lessons she is now swimming without rings.
It takes one bad experience to tarnish what would ordinarily be an 4 or 5 star rating. Friday 19th 8-9pm swim. Music was played at what can oy be described as an unacceptably loud volume, which made it a deeply unpleasant swim. Which i do normally find enjoyable. I should clarify here that i dont object to music being played, as background music. However as mentioned above it was far too loud
Looking quite dated on the outside, however my daughter loves to swim, and can't wait for the summer holiday activities. The inflatable party was super fun too!
We use the centre for our badminton club. Good courts - flooring is non slip, lighting is good, staff friendly and costs are reasonable
Out dated and the best thing that could happen is knock it down and start again. The changing rooms at times are dirty and smell of urine. The staff don't seem to care.
Swimming lessons booked for 5yr old well worth it teacher is brilliant and grand daughter has come on so well in just 6 weeks

WEDDING! We had the boat for the morning as means to deliver the groom and his men to his wedding at Aston Marina. A brilliant meander down the canal for a couple of hours with beers and sausage and cheese oatcakes ending with a mooring right outside the venue. Best start to a wedding ever, would 100% recommend these guys!
We have twice hired from this company. Fantastic personal service from a family run business. We had a couple of unforeseen technical issues this time but both were resolved efficiently by 'Magic Dom' and the team. Boats not the newest or shiniest but are fully functional, comfortable, well-equipped and represent great value for money compared to other similar hire companies. Just remember your towels (unlike us). Recommended!
We rented a boat from Canal Cruising and enjoyed a three-week adventure. Canal Cruising is conveniently located within walking distance of the town's streets. Of course, supermarkets and pubs are also within walking distance. We took the train from London to Stone, and Caren and Kim were so kind as to pick us up and drop us off at the station. Before setting sail, Dominic and Kim carefully explained how to maneuver and lock the boat. They even gave us a Canal Companion guidebook and a cute tea towel! The support after we set sail was also excellent. We accidentally locked the boat indoors the next day, but Karen quickly helped us out. Thank you! 😊 We signed the rental contract more than six months in advance, and the standard cancellation insurance included, so we felt at ease. The boat we rented, Particia, was old but easy to maneuver, and the kitchen and living room were well-designed, making it a comfortable boat to live in. There were newer boats available, but Patricia was a little less clean due to its age, so we deducted one star. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an adventure!
The most amazing people I have ever met whilst cruising!! Peter has amazing knowledge and always smiles!! His wife-sorry didn’t get her name- made me a lovely coffee and their son Dominic he went way above and beyond to help me!! Amazing and great value I don’t really want to return to them to repair my boat but will always call in on my way past!! So amazing and thank you so much and keep doing what you do-perfection!!
After a lovely welcome from Karen and her staff, we got shown to our clean, well equipped and sanitized boat, where we were given good refresher training on the operation of the craft. We set off on a brilliant seven day canal cruise and enjoyed every minute. What makes this company is not just the very high standard of the boats, but the great staff. They all appear to really enjoy their work and were so pleasant to deal with. Thank you guys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Well equipped boat hired from this company for a week. Handover was comprehensive for our 1st time on a canal boat. Advice from staff was helpful. Really enjoyable holiday on a lovely canal. Staff were really nice and helpful. Would use again.
Stopped here for the day to change our prop in dry dock. All I can say is the whole team there is fantastic. Everyone helps everyone. Facilities were great. If you need to do some DIY on your boat this is the place to go!
Had our narrowboat blacked in one of their dry docks and a new swans neck bearing fitted. Very impressed with the quality of the work and the facilities, and quite reasonably priced. Stayed on board during the process, and the town centre is a stones throw away. Definitely return next time we need the hull blacked.

Amazing gym! Been coming here for almost a year now, facilities are always clean and the equipment is in good order with plenty of everything. So many benches! Staff are friendly and welcoming, definitely recommend!
Best Gym in Stone, been a member since 2019 , loads of good quality machines, good quality free weights. Highly, highly recommended
10/10. Dumbbells up to 50kg. All the equipment works. Loads of machines. The weights are *always* put back in the right place. Good workout music. Everyone respects the space and each other. Best gym in the area, no question.
owners a spactard getting mad because i accidentally left my gym card at home 😂
gyms okay. But as far as paying for a music license or better gym equipment you have another thing coming. Without head phones it’s the same torturous playlist. convenience is what keeps this gym running.
Incredible gym with lovely staff who also take an active role in helping you out and making you feel welcome. Been coming here over a year now and it’s always a great social environment to see my friends and get a good workout in. Also has various food and drink supplements to buy and a machine that give a through breakdown of your weight, muscle mass etc.
Great gym, no frills just serious people and equipment. Friendly environment and lots of people willing to assist when and where needed. Great value.
First gym ever been to, to which was so nervous but even from the first look around to over 12 months later wouldn't go anywhere else now, the staff are so friendly, they always make the time of day for you and help with anything you may need, from spotting you to just a chat. No support like it, pro evo is where you should be!
