We had an amazing time here last week. Coming from Ireland we didn't know what to expect but the location and facilities are fantastic. We stayed for 4 nights 5 days and did rafting, an ATV tour and canyoning. All 3 activities were extremely fun and our guides made them even better. The lady at reception was very helpful throughout our stay with organising things for us and answering our questions. My only additional recommendation to others would be to maybe bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the birds start chirping and camp becomes active from early in the morning.
We stay in camp for three days. Everything was great, just too short. Next time we will come for a longer stay. Thank you to everyone from the lady at the reception, to the waiters and the rest of the staff. The food was good and very plentiful. The nature is amazing. Special thanks to our skipper Obi for his kindness and professional attitude. We definitely came back.
The camp was absolutely amazing – really beautiful and well kept. And the river with its surroundings was one of the most stunning places I’ve ever seen: completely crystal-clear waters and breathtaking landscapes. The staff were all super friendly, from the receptionist to the dining room team. The highlight, though, was definitely the food – it was outstanding, everything we tried was delicious. One of the 14 of us is celiac, and they adapted the meals perfectly and took great care of him, which we appreciated a lot. Truly a 10 out of 10. As for the rafting itself, it was very gentle and safe – more like a scenic ride along the river than an extreme adventure sport. We would definitely do it again!
The restaurant and the rafting was great but DO NOT GO TO SAFARI. Our driver was okay but the translator was an angry teenager who we said he hates doing these hikes. He spent the whole trip sleeping and on instagram instead of working. After two short hikes (25 min total), they told us we can see the horses or do the zip line (all paid extra) and otherwise wait for 2,5 hours for lunch. So basically the ~70 euro ’safari’ only has the drive, 2 hikes and lunch included, without any explanation about the nature or the place with terrible service. The food and other workers were mostly wonderful but I could’t give this place more stars because the showers close to our house had no hot water (even after turning on the boilder), there was foul smell in the bathrooms and our house was very hot during the day.
We absolutely loved our stay at the drina Tara. We stayed in a small Hut for two people. While the bathroom was separate. It was incredibly convenient and easily accessible even at night. The staff and the outdoor activities were tons of fun. We did the rafting and the canyonning experience. The food was incredibly delicious but very excessive some days. The lunch was our favorite meal consistently.
Fantastic organization, nice people works there, excellent food and unforgettable tours with boats and electric bikes. Special greetings for boat skipper Keva and el-bikes guide man Miljan, both of them where very nice and professional. We will come next year once again definitely. All recommends from us.
We stayed here for three nights, and had a really wonderful time. The hosts took care of everything, including picking us up and dropping us off in town free of charge. All the staff were wonderful and helpful, the food was amazing (it’s impossible to finish because the servings are so generous). We don’t speak Serbian so they provided us with a friendly translator so we could understand what was going on. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! It’s worth noting that the cabins are quite modest and a bit of sound does get in, so it’s best to bring some earbuds and/or eye mask if you’re staying over the weekend as there’s live music and lots of merrymaking. Thanks Drina team for amazing stay 💛
The rudest people we have met since being Iin Bosnia. Totally unfriendly and unhelpful at reception. Tried to book a rafting trip with them, says you can pay by bank transfer, but when we arrived we were told not possible. We were then shouted at and called idiots for parking out campervan close to reception while we tried to check in (it was not blocking anything and would have been moved once we knew where to park). When we complained they did try and put things right but by that point we'd decided to go elsewhere where we were made to feel more welcome from the first impression.

The staff were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of things to do on the campsite. The rooms were small, but clean and nice. Food was good, everything homemade. The rafting and canyoning trips were great and our kids liked everything as well.
It was the highlight of the trip for sure!! Just incredible!! The staff was so kind, welcoming and amazingly helpful! The location is just stunning!! Really enjoyed the whole day with our friends over there! Rafting was really fun and had supercool instructor! Superchill, with good humour and felt really secured the whole trip! Also, he knew a lot about country and history so was cool to get to know about it also. Had the food as well later on which was so delicious! If thinking of going rafting or just want to find a great spot to stay at, Resort TaraSport is the palce! Thank you so much! 🫶🏻☀️
One of the highlights of our trip so far! All of the guides were incredible and Anje went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and we had the best time. Always felt super safe and taken care of the camp was so cool and clean. Food was amazing also! Petar was an excellent driver :)
We had such a great time here! The rooms were super clean, the food was really tasty, and every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. The rafting was an absolute highlight — exciting, well-organized, and the skippers were true professionals. The place is great for families too, with lots of fun activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. We’ll definitely be coming back!
The jeep ride to the riverbank was spectacular. Our rafting guide, Radan, was one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. He was full of interesting information about the river and its surroundings, and he was also very funny and helpful. The rafting itself was an amazing experience, and I’d recommend it to everyone. It’s a great way to connect with the beauty of nature. We’ll definitely return in the future.
Our stay was absolutely phenomenal. Amazing hosts, rafting tour guides, food, campsite, and atmosphere, not to talk about the phenomenal views. They arranged a ride for us up from Foca and were very generous with the accommodations. I would highly recommend booking here for your next family vacation, or a trip with friends.
Amazing service and team. We did rafting in October, awesome experience. They helped to organise the trip in away it was perfect to our group and food in the end was amazing. We feel like family members, really good service.
I spent two days with the crew from TaraSport and went rafting and canyoning (Nevidio) and they were both incredible! The rafting was so pretty, and we felt safe the whole time. We even had a lunch stop at a waterfall and got to jump from some small cliffs and our guide was very interesting and funny and lots of great facts about the area! Nevidio canyon was amazing too and even tho it rained the entire time it just made it better! Highly recommend and I’m keen to go back sometime and try the other activities 🙂

I had a wonderful stay at the Highlander Camp in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 🌿 Zoran, the manager, was incredibly kind and welcoming — when I felt a bit cold, he even brought an extra heater for my cottage. The view over the Drina river was simply breathtaking. The food was delicious (I’m still dreaming about the kajmak — oh my god, so good! 😍). I only stayed one day and one night this time, but next time I’ll definitely stay longer. Highly recommend a visit if you’re passing through this area — such a warm, memorable experience!
Beautiful riverside getaway for great value. Miona and Dragana were super helpful! The river view from my bungalow is beautiful, the location is convenient for rafting/hiking and the value for the stay is amazing. The outdoor pool with sauna is also great for summer guests. However wifi is only available in the restuarant area and mobile signal is weak in the area (due to the location close to border). Cash payment is suggested for all resorts in this area, due to the unstable network and sometimes card terminals not working.
Amazing food with delicious vegan options, cozy cabins surrounded by beautiful nature, and incredibly kind and hospitable hosts and staff 😊 We really enjoyed our stay! And we really appreciated they served dinner for us the first night even though we were late. 🙏
Great camp with limited capacity so it’s not crowded and noisy. Perfect for a fun but also relaxing vacation. Lots of activities for children and grown ups in the camp and nearby Nice local food, live music on weekends. Friendly staff, great planning and help around organizing activities such as rafting, hiking, hourse riding and many more. Clean and cozy rooms!
Good place with direct access to the river. The service was good at the restaurant as well. Pool access is not included in the price. Also, though nothing to do with the place itself, rafting in the summer is more like a nice slow boat trip down the river.
The best! Excellent service, great facilities, huge portions of delicious food, fun water activities, a beautiful pool, friendly and professional skippers, and cozy cabins with stunning river views. Highly recommend!
Stayed here for 1 night as part of a larger tour. Location is amazing, were kept awake late into the night due to music/singing from the camp above. Breakfast was amazing. Rafting was great
The place itself is really nice. Close to the river, swimming pool with a sauna and the campings are good. We also did rafting for 45€ per person, it lasted for 4 hours - 20kms but I would say it is worth doing it. The negative side is that they take extra money (10€) for swimming pool, the team really doesnt speak any english and they quite scam with a money as they round all the prices up. We ordered dinner from administrator lady, she told us that you can get it at 7. Also payed to the lady. When we went to the restaurant at 7, the waiters didnt know anything about it. We scheduled a new time for 8 p.m, later the restaurant also wanted the money from us. Also took more money of rakijas than written in the menu. So be aware of the prices. Also you need cash everywhere. When we asked the check out time from the lady, she told it is 9am, later turned out it was actually 2 p.m. The internet only works in restaurant area.

Absolutely untouched nature - thanks to local people who are aware and proud of the natural beauty that surrounds them.
Great rafting experience in Tara Canyon! Everything was well organized, the guide was very professional, and the views were amazing. We had both breakfast and lunch included, and the food was really tasty. Highly recommended!
We just had an unforgettable experience with Tara Canyon Raft, when we took a day rafting just a couple days ago. And we also had the best skipper around - Marko. This guy is a top level professional instructor, who definitely made this rafting day perfect for us. Highly recommended for all levels, including families with children.
It was really fun and scary at the same time. 100% recommend if you’re in the area.
Most beautiful canyon ever!!!
Great place for rafting and there is much more activities such as hiking. ATV horse 🐎 ride

I was in “TriVodrnice” for 3 days and it was amazing experience!(we was group od 30people) Highly recommend. I was there for rafting, which went great (although there was a storm 1h before) The skippers are very patient, experienced and provide you with an unforgettable experience on the river (especially the skipper who was led my group - Nenad) Room and toilets are clean and tidy like the whole complex. They have music band performing at night and its a great party. The food is very delicious and the meals are plentiful. The staff is very friendly, helpful, non-stop smiling and tireless. Soon im coming here again for sure.🤩👌
Rafting was bit boring - but thats because of low water on river. Camp is nice although bit expensive beer for Bosnia (2,50€). We had rich breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately same food on lunch and dinner. Be prepared for hole exept normal toilet :D
Very nice place, one of the few in the area able to accept Campers even if only few power plugs available. only Schuco like most oc auto camp in Bosnia. Rafting activity very well organized also for kids. Kind staff but only few speaking english. WC and Showers always very clean.
A very cozy place in a beautiful valley, good food and price, and welcome drink. BUT: the little wooden cottages had NO thermal insulation (it was really cold at the end of april), music was played loudly all day.
Best solution for rafting, maximum rating for food, service and complete picture. I am coming back to Tri vodenice every year.
Cozy and good service, delicious local food, it is possible to accomodate in nice small cottages. Short distance to Tara river - rafting and kayaking centre.
Hosts are very friendly, place is nice and clean. Food is above average. Best camp ever!
Excellent experience, clean, organized & quiet, very friendly staff. A bit run down though. Some renovation would make it perfect.

Very nice. There are a few options to climb this mountain... from Bosnia or from Montenegro. Before going to the summit check which route is ok for you
Maglić (2386m) is the highest mountain peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Maglić Mountain is a border mountain between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Climbing Maglić Peak is a special experience. The mountain can be climbed from several directions using different routes. The most popular access to the mountain is from the Prijevor Pass. From here you can directly climb the peak using the shortest route, but it is the steepest trail where you need to have some experience in the mountains. It is sometimes secured with a cable and I as a local mountain guide recommend using a helmet and being careful when climbing. A similar trail, slightly less demanding, starts from Lokva Dernečište. Technically the easiest trail is over Trnovačko Lake, but it is also the longest and requires more time. Whichever trail you choose, you will have a nice experience and beautiful nature. The view from the top is spectacular, but you must have clear weather, Mglić in the local language means peak in the fog. In the summer months, afternoon clouds often develop, resulting in thunderstorms and heavy rain. It is advisable to set off early in the morning to the summit and monitor the weather forecast. The nearby Trnovačko Mountain Lake is especially beautiful and worth visiting on the way back or during the climb.
Would be 5 stars, but the ropes on the alpine trail were mostly broken & its very dangerous to climb without them only at the end they were okay and stable. If those were also broken I think If would be stuck up there.(I recommend to climb to the top from the Montenegro side from the lake it's the easier and safer path.I went from the Bosnian side up and it's a bit dangerous if the weather isn't good).
The top part was a bit dangerous without proper shoes and strength. My friends and a group of other people gave up. Nevertheless, to me the views seemed very much worth the difficulties! We didn’t want to risk damaging our car so we started at the main road, which added almost 9km (and 900 meters up) to the route. BUT it was easier than it sounds since most of the trail was in a shade and it was all well marked. PS: thanks to the guy with climbing gear who went with me on the way down
Beautiful untouched nature. Amazing views. From Prijevor village where you leave your car, you have two chices: A) Climbing to the Bosnian Maglic peak (2.5h) treking from Bosnian to Montenegrian Maglic peak (1h) and finally descending to Trnovacko lake (1.5h) After youre finished tack back to your car (2.5h). B) Treking straight to Trnovacko jezero, and optionally ascending and descending Montenegrian peak. Option A requires you to "climb" few rocks on the way that have a cable attached to them, but it shouldnt be challenging for a reasonably fit person, and it is easy to do it without ferrata but not advised for inexperienced people. Benefit of A is doing a round trip rather that returning the same way. Be sure to bring a few euros to the lake. There is a small charge per person, and a 5e charge for building a fire. There is fresh water, a toilet and you can buy beer for 3e (reasonable as they bring it long distance by horse), also home made coffee and jucie. There is no mobile network, except on the peak. Enjoy!
We climbed via ferratta, it is best to take equipment with you. Harness & helmet. A lot of rocks are loose and would tumble down the mountain. We climbed the Bosnia side, it was a great but tiring hike. The road getting to the car park is rough and long. It may take you 1+ hours from the main road
The climb up the mountain from Prijevor is not the easiest, as it is fairly steep throughout the whole path, although it is sooo worth it!
Amazing hike, stunning views. Around 10km roundtrip, there are some steep sections equipped with steel wire.

I’ve been to Foča several times but never stopped here before. It’s a really nice spot with an unusual view, and I was honestly amazed. Definitely worth a visit — just about 15 minutes off the main road (the road isn’t great, but it’s manageable). Glad I finally checked it out!
There are two places with this phenomenon the first one can be accessed by car and is better for picture and there are also more view points. Second one requires a bit of hiking (half an hour) but it's worth cause the trail is beautiful to walk by. No ticket required it's free.
Nature creation worth the drive, it took us half an hour from Foca. There are 2 locations, we visited only the ones just next to the road, litterally 5 meteres from the parking, we were alone there. Beautiful. Other location is further but you need to walk there, and since it was too hot we sent a drone to take a look 😅 would recommend!
It is worth making the effort to go off the beaten track and find this hidden gem. We went in late September and would suggest arriving early afternoon to make the most of the sun lighting up the view from the viewing platform
This was in September 2024. End of the trail for sand pyramids. Easy hike (it took us around 15 minutes, but half an hour if you go slower), amazing nature anyhow.
Very basic tourist attraction. If you are close and need a stop it might be good to come here but it does go along a long dirty road and it’s not worth going out your way. It is pretty cool to see the formations.
Natural wonder and a beautiful site to visit, surrounded by woodland with a beautiful view of the mountains around. There are signs along the road so it's easy to find. While driving or cycling to the place it's possible to stop and see wild animals or just enjoy listening to birds singing. Overall, really good experience.
It is very out of the way, on a small uphill 9km part stone / asphalt road. Access to the view point adjacent to the road is easy, about 15m. Beware, staircase handles are unstable. The 2nd view point is a 30 minute uphill hike. Trail end is a bit strange, as it doesn’t provide a view. There is a CAUTION sign, which suggests further access, but the terrain is hazardous. There is no cost for access but parking is limited to 2 to 3 spots and there is no tourist paraphernalia. It has been upsold as pyramids. They are outcrops. Nice to view for a while but honestly not worth all the effort to get to them.

Absolutely amazing experience. Our skipper, Brane was super friendly, quirky and extremely experienced. The whole tour package was amazing with breakfast and lunch. Rafting, of course, which is the highlight was absolutely incredible. The scenic views, the water, the nature, the thrill ... I cannot recommend this enough. I will definitely be back.!!
Great camp. Clean. Good food. Good evening live music in restaurant. Pleasant stuff, with best river skiper ever 👌🚣‍♂️
The Best ever experince! Camp Is Nice...we broath a tent and stay for 5 days. The rest of Our team ,slept in bungalows... Food Is amazing, people Are nice, rafting Is beautiful! Nature Is amazing...River Tara...woow...we drunk water From the River and a color?! It Can not be described!
It is really perfect place for relaxing. In the middle of the mountain. Amaizing views and just perfect colour of the water. The only thing to put 4 stars was that I expected more adrenalin. It is rafting centre, but rafting was more like a boat trip. So this little nuance absolutely does not spoil the perfect time that we were there.
Amazing place, food & accomodation were perfect, Joka & Daja were great, actual rafting was amazing and would love to come back this year again!
Best rafting camp in Bosnia and on Balkans, people that work there are just wonderful, I had a vegetarian friends, and cook made them so happy, all out of the box... rafting team was perfect, even owner Jelena assisted us a lot... so 10/10 👍 ⭐
We came without reservation on a fully booked day in the high season. These people could have said 'sorry, we're full' but they didn't. They managed to organise us a ride and a place in a boat which turned out much better than we hoped for. The food was delicious and we had so much fun during the ride! Highest level of hospitality with a touch of Bosnian soul.
Come with friends and enjoy an amazing ride 😁😁😁

A fun kayaking experience. There was a party of 30 Hungarians there who were most entertaining due to being absolutely plastered by 10am which added some great drunk uncle energy to the day
Beautiful little camp right by the Tara River. We stayed here for a night before crossing the border and it was very beautiful. Great facilites with hot water and a good toilet block. Rooms were comfortable and the food served in the restaurant was excellent.
the staff was not hospitable. the food was great, but not tasty. you had cockroaches in the bathroom and on the restaurant table 🤮. the beds were not comfortable, the rafting was good - rafting olymp
Magical place! It offers comfortable stay and top class guests service! It totally exceeded our expectations! Dogs friendly and the food in the restaurant is delicious, everything was home made. Highly recommend to visit it!
Lovely place, cute little cottages, wonderfully friendly staff. A pleasure to interact with the other guests. Good showers and a great meal. Unbeatable value, already looking forward to coming back to Bosnia and staying here again.
Very friendly hosts and genuine Bosnian atmosphere and welcome. Coolest place on the river (literally) as trees provide shade in the camp. Great base for activities.
Great place for fun, they have a big shared space perfect for guitar and singing. The bungalows are nice and cozy. The shared bathroom is good. The host is very nice as well, he found us a rafting in the end of September. I recommend this place!

We had a great experience at Stari Dud. Very kind family runs this business. It’s very close to Foca and Pluzine is only a little further in the other direction. We pitched our tents in the grass. Plenty of space. They served us food, coffee, beer etc..all for more than reasonable prices. They even brought us into town to a friend’s house to help us repair our bike. I highly recommend staying here.
We spent two nights in our own tent at this camp, and joined a rafting trip. It was such a nice experience! The camp has trees and a meadow, picnic tables and outdoor showers with warm water. The hosts are lovely, we were so well taken care of!! The breakfast is delicious and enough for everybody. Absolute recommendation!!!
We stayed at the camping with our own tent and really liked it. Price was cheap, 10euro/20BAM per tent. Shower was outside but had nice warm water. Restaurant offers good food and drinks. The people are very very nice, it's a family run business. The daughter speaks good English. We did not go rafting with them as that is not really our thing, but we did see the group leave in the morning and it looked professional.
Very nice family camping, you can rent a small bungalows or you can have your own tent or caravan. They organise the longest rafting: 15 km on Tara and 17 km on Drina which give in summery 32 km very long rafting. Also you can find here very good restaurant. And everything is in good price!
Cozy place, it’s very budget and the accommodation is very run down. Beds are very bad, shower and toilets outside. Very nice rafting tours.
Best camp for this rafting. People who own this camp are all friendly, really positive and outgoing. Food is great as well.
Top place for a rafting experience. Nice camp site. Great service. Superb cooking. Will be back for more.

We had one of the best camping experiences ever. Everything was clean, the food was amazing, and the staff was perfect. The hospitality of the Balkan people is outstanding. We had a fantastic time. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is live music, which was really enjoyable. The bathrooms are as luxurious as those in a 5-star hotel. The food was fantastic, with large portions at great prices, all freshly made. The rafting was also awesome; the Tara River is clean and the water is awesome. Kids will have fun with all the animals the camp, and the little puppy was particularly adorable. I’m already looking forward to visiting again.
A lovely camping with the sweetest owner! The sanitary was so nice and clean. We stayed here during our scouting camp, and we got the best spot for our tents. The camping has the best restaurant with fresh, delicious meals for a very reasonable price! From the terras you have a beautiful view of the river. Their rafting trips are also amazing! We enjoyed our stay here a lot and I would definitely come back here. 🙏
Amazing Rafting Experience with Great Food and Clean Facilities! We had an incredible time at this rafting camp! The whole experience was well-organized and exciting from start to finish. What really stood out was the food — absolutely delicious! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, with plenty of options for everyone. It felt more like a home-cooked feast than camp food. The rooms were clean, comfortable. The toilets and bathrooms were spotless — a huge plus, especially at a campsite. Greetings from Macedonia❤️
Stayed in a 6-bed bungalow and was impressed with how clean everything was, especially the restrooms. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the restaurant in the complex — the menu had limited options and they only accept card payments, so keep that in mind.
We've been rafting with Miro, one of the owners, several times. Great service, high quality rafts, new wet suites, and a delicious food after. You can't go wrong.
I liked the place being more sunny than some of the other affordable option. This late August was exceptional cool, so I did not want a lot of shadow.
Amazing team of hosts and staff. Starting from the greeting until the very end. Maja the kamp host, lovely and hospitable. Drago and his amazing driving skills making a short 1 hour drive to the top, into an amazing safari off road adrenaline rush. He made it so comfortable one of our team members fell asleep :) Thank you Ms. Duška for amazing homemade cuisine. Sava, bar and service, 6 out of 5 stars. Whatever we asked for he made it happen. Ty everyone!

So we met these wholesome fellas at the river bank who would take us for a rafting tour... but it was so much more than that. They made us breakfast, scrambled eggs, 2 plates of local meat, goat cheese. Incredible. Then we were ready for the tour to begin. It lasted 4 hours, took us upstream on the side of Bosnian borders. Made a few pitstops along the way, mountain waterfalls, passed many breathtaking rapids, met locals on the river bank... When we were finished, they had prepared 2 huge bowls of soup, and a gigantic pot of beef and vegetable stew, sliced watermelon... And when we were done - Fed and our heads still spinning from the experiences acquired... we parted our way. I can't express enough how much I recommend this for anyone visiting Montenegro. Helmuts, Dilans, Ieva and family.
Rafting club with a fantastic location right next to the river. The food was great, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the parties were amazing. A wonderful experience overall — highly recommended!
A rafting club with a truly fantastic location, at the point where Piva and Tara meet. The hosts are really kind, Bodo and his family will do everything to make you feel at home. The food is excellent, the accommodation is new and clean. All recommendations for rafting club Bodo!
Highly recommended for river rafting! The rates, including breakfast and lunch, were reasonable. As a vegetarian, my dietary needs were well understood and accommodated. Marco was a great host who gave clear instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3-hour rafting trip with 22 exciting rapids.
Located in a perfect place, where Tara and Piva meet and the Drina is born. Lovely hosts, lovely home cooked food made the traditional way. Excellent accommodation, wonderful evening parties and most importantly...adrenaline rafting with professional skippers. In one word... awesome! Highly recommended for everyone!
We traveled here from Slovakia to kayaking on the Tara river. This camp was unique. People are amicable. There was no space for “we cannot do it.” People speak in English, but we also can communicate in Slovak, and we understand each other. The food was excellent, and the bar was open till we finished drinking. I can recommend this place, and we will come back for sure.
Family owned camp with tradition. Very kind and organized. Excellent food and rooms. I recommend it to the families with kids coz we all went rafting. Great experience!
Unreal experience – crazy fun rafting, amazing people, homemade food, and above all, a huge shoutout to the kindest hosts running the place – you made it unforgettable!
