We are here with a 6m Motorboat, and the smallest part of the harbor, where the rowing Boats lie could work but we got a little bigger spot in the inner harbour. It is extremely well managed, that you can buy a multi day pass, where you can stay in several Harbour around Bornholm. Hammerhus Havn, Sandvig, Allinge, do belong to theses Harbors.
The harbour fills up fast and gets pretty noisy in the evening. Not really enough toilets and showers given the large number of visitors.
charming, lovable, homely little town on the northern tip of Bornholm 🫶
Cosy place. Nice restaurants and cosy souvenir shop. Nice view. Recommended
A beautiful little harbor surrounded by nice restaurants and ice cream bars. Probably best experienced by enjoying a meal outdoors while watching sail boats arriving or leaving.
Great atmosphere and a few solid restaurants.
Just find something to drink and bring the smoked herrings from Nordbornholms Røgeri. And then sit there and enjoy the food, your drinks and view (Østersøen).
I just love the atmosphere and feeling here. The showers/toilets were in pretty good standard and also properly cleaned. This is my go to harbor when sailing to Bornholm.

A lot of little lakes scattered around, an abundance of lovely trails to choose from and surprisingly not a lot of people if you come at the right time.
This is really a beautiful spot worth visiting!
This lake is easy to access, with a parking lot just a few hundred feet from the lake. The color of the water is gorgeous, and of course the steep rocky cliffs on the side add to the grandeur. There are options for long hikes, but we just wanted a short walk, which is an option! You can walk the loop around Opalso, and you can even hike up just a very short distance to get a view from above. We visited mid-May, but I've heard it can get over crowded in the summer months.
Lake in a former quarry, with hiking trails around it. Including a nice view to Hammershus Castle. Parts of it are used for rock climbing.
One of the most beautiful parts of the island with gorgeous vistas
The best part of visiting bornholm. Take a scenic hike around the area and jump into the water to cool yourself off. This area is highly recommended by me and my family
Gorgeous area with lots of history and nature

They have so much stuff, and I guarantee that if you're born in or before the 90s, you will feel nostalgic! Great staff and good environment to explore.
It is a collection. A massive collection that can act as a collective memory mank for Bornholm. We enjoyed the variety of the collections in the building (99% is indoors so great any day of the year). We were there in October, so a jacket/coat is recommended as there is no heating. . Entry was only 85kr and coffee... Is free!
An amazing place which completely took us by surprise. Expecting the usual museum in a small town with a few local artifacts. How wrong. This museum probably has a million items on show from SAAB Draken plane to an amazing collection of cups. In fact it has something for everyone. A must see in Bornholm give yourselves a few hours to browse
This museum is nothing short of incredible in its depth and breadth of a collection of almost everything that seemingly ever landed on Bornholm. Love engines? Love domestic houseware history? Want to find a photo of your distant Bornholmer cousin in the sitting room gallery? You can do it here. We came for the Saab friction tester and spent the better part of a morning just wandering through the farm completely amazed.
Amazing. So many things. Everything from Nazi table china through semi automatic washing machines to power plant generators. You can touch a lot of it and crank it up. There is also a very realistic, cosy apartment from early 20th century. Wonderful atmosphere, feels somehow way different than a museum.
An interesting Journey through time, also fun for kids.
Amazing collection. Fascinating place to go see. Great friendly people who will definitely show you something you have never seen before.
Mind blowing, took me by complete surprise. Rarely have a place left me with so many refreshed memories. I'm 67 years of age, and most of the things have been used in my lifetime.

I wish I had guts. Then I would try this totally awesome ride!
We were there few weeks ago and it was open. It does not look professional or safe. We were walking around the lake in the evening and were nearly hit by the metal cable which was released from the top of the rock and dropped without any warning. I dont know if it could have killed one of us but it would have definitely caused severe injuries. We asked the guy who was working there why he would do something so dangerous. His answer was "Well, i can't see anything down behind the trees when i drop the cable..." I would stay away from this experience and be safe. And be careful when walking beneath it.
So much fun. Took the jump with 7 year old son. They took good care of him and was thorough in explaining him how he should ride on Tovbanen and how to land. They know what they are doing.
It was a lot of fun!
Really great experience. Do not miss this when visiting Bornholm.

Round church from the 12th century. Entrance is free. Be sure to enter the tower.
Special place at this type of church which was sacred place as well as a fort against enemies. Dual use afor centuries have been seen there.
The most elegant of the four round churches
Wonderful church with interesting history and a warm sound inside.
Special place with a lot of history, and a really good energy around all the walls and a gorgeous green area
It’s fascinating architecture from the 1300’s worth the visit.

Great walk along the Baltic in July 2023. These fascinating ruins are a means to enjoying the rest of the scenery.
The cutest little remains of a church of old times. Worth it if you stumble across it during a hike that goes past it, otherwise, don't bother. Great view and can recommend the hiking path it's on.
Lovely spot and a cosy place to relax on the way.
An iconic landmark in a pleasantly convenient hiking trail. One can start from the Hammerknuden parking place and follow the green markings ("Salomons Sti") for a 2.7 km hike on an easy terrain. The reward of the beautiful coastal cliffs view greatly outweights the effort.
This is a great hike with amazing views. We did the hike at about sunset, and it was beautiful. The hike was moderately easy, and we did the loop from the parking past the lighthouse and back over the top when we reached Salomons Kapel.
On your hike around Hammerknuden you meet this chapel
A beautiful place, with a rich story placed in beautiful nature lodged between the sea and forrest
Perfect hike to the sunset

Soooooo beautiful
Didn't get inside, but from the outside this was one of a kind church! Its yellow colour is just so contagious! Walk around the house in order to get all sorts of perspective of the architecture. There is a very unique statue located to the left from the main entrance - it is called Metamorphose. If you have time and are interested in history, religion, traditions or architecture - do visit this church, I am sure it won't disappoint you.
Fine old Danish small town church from before the reformation. Unusual yellow building Color.
(Translated by Google) Allinge Church is not a round church! That doesn't make it any less exciting! It is unique in many other areas. Among other things, it has made graves (see pictures), which are quite special! After all, Bornholm is blessed with a lot of stone species, which they put together so beautifully!! In Allinge church, it stands out that many graves are firstly built with high stones around each grave. In addition, many have been given the opportunity to use giant tombstones. They even stand up against the church, as if you could choose a specific tombstone. (My thought). The church itself: I just had to take another breath! It is so beautiful. An old altar chair, a fantastic baptismal bowl in Bornholm, solid granite and such nice benches to sit at. That church oozes charm. Really worth a visit. I certainly haven't been there for the last time!! Highly recommendable. 🙏🙏

There are many things in the church to look at: i.a. the altar, the crucifix, and the organ. There is a small cemetery by the church. We have looked for the Russian cemetery, but it is about 10 min. walk from there at Pilegade 18. (Original) Kirken i Allinge er gammel: blev bygget mellem 1200 og 1300 og ombygget i 1892. Look down in the old quarry. Denmark has collected granite from here for decades. Beautiful place.
The museum is very good, has a lot of historic information. Unfortunately only in Danish.
A small but interesting museum about the quarries in Bornholm.
The museum is small but gives a rich overview of the history of quarry work on Bornholm. The quarry itself is a deep pit carved from the bedrock and wonderful to go for a walk in. The owners are friendly and easy to talk to and as they work the quarry themselves they know a lot. Ask for a demo of rock breaking. It's easier than you'd expect.
The museum tell the story of queries on Bornholm and the story of the famous Bornholm granite. The people in charge are stone workers and know their stuff.
The freeclimbing opportunity is awesome!

Petroglyphs from the Stone Age are a short walk from the car, allowing a moment of reflection over 5500 years from then to now. Free parking and admission.
Sadly enough the carvings can hardly be seen: once they were supplied with red colour and easy to see. For unknown reasons the responsible authorities do not paint the carvings any longer. Still they are promoted everywhere as most special and historical highly important.
Come say hello to our bronze age forefathers. It's not a spectacular sight, but when you think about what you're looking at it's a deep dive into very ancient times.
Very interesting group of rock carvings. They are highlighted by red (removable) paint, otherwise they would be really hard to see. There are signs which point you there from the main road, there is a parking place from which you have to walk to the rocks, and there are several information signs around.
It sucks. Don’t go there. You can barely see the stone carvings. My girlfriend was standing on one of them without actually noticing it was there. It was an unforgettable experience that I never want to repeat again.
Bornholm has many well preserved Bronze & Iron Age carvings and runes… a cultural heritage traded in 900 years ago to appease the Holy Roman Empire 🤨
If you are a fan of petroglyphs aka rock carvings Madsebakke is the right place for you since this is Denmark's biggest site. A part from the main site, new carvings are still being found in the area. Look out for these and consider doing the beautiful walk from Madsebakke towards Hammerhus. This is a new path which is not yet visible on most maps. Don't forget to turn around and enjoy the lovely sea view as well.
Information on faith and religion in bronze age, where ships and the sun both play major roles. A lot of symbols carved directly into the rock. Madsebakke is a rocky slope between Sandvig and Allinge on Nordbornholm, known for its extensive rock carvings from the younger Bronze Age. The Madselykke carving field is Denmark's largest with fourteen ship carvings, five wheel crosses, five foot figures and many bowl characters. Definately worth a visit.
