Quite small, but nice little area to visit. You can enter the tower, which is quite some stairs but worth the view over the small village. You have to walk quite some stairs to get there, but note that there are several passage ways to get there.
A nice little hiking spot. We did the "longer" hike around the vineyard, and took the short path with the stairs down back to Kayserberg. Very easy hike if not completely accessible. A very nice tower and a good view of the village and valley :)
I cannot really call it a castle. Comparing with other castles that I visited, this one is like a tower. However if you are in Kaysersberg, you should definitely give it a try. The view up there is very nice.
Beautiful town with their own design house from 14,15 century. Up the hill can see the castle. If you like to visit... Most welcome. I like this town because of the scenery. Feel relax
Ruins of a castle with 3 different routes from the village around 15 to 25min walk with stairs. Beautiful view of the vineyard and village from the top. Can also climb spiral stairs at the tower.
Lovely castle ruins above Kyserberg offering girgeous views of the village, the valley and the vineyards. You can climb the tower for an extra special experience.
In general this small town is really beautiful, the climb to the castle is at the end of the town, you have to climb up some small stairs that are not very visible. Very little of the castle is preserved, but it is worth climbing the Tower and if you have time I suggest climbing the mountain behind the castle, there are very nice views of the whole area.
Beautiful place to visit in Alsace, cute streets with colorful houses. We did not though climb up to the castle.

Beautiful old church in Kaysersberg Village, impressed by the statue of Jesus.
Église Sainte-Croix, Kaysersberg, situated in the heart of Kaysersberg, is the mostly medieval parish church of the small town of Kaysersberg, in the Haut-Rhin department of France. It's so low profile that you may notice the fountain ⛲ in front of it, but not the church when walking by if you don't look up. But that's the characteristics of Église Sainte-Croix, Kaysersberg, elegant while not shine bright. The Holy Cross Church was built in the first half of the 13th century, then expanded and modified in the 15th century, and finally partially modified again in the first half of the 19th century, when the steeple was crowned with its characteristic dome.
Nice medieval church located in the village.
Very nice cathedral
It was a wonderful moment inside the church! I was in heaven! Thank you Lord
(Translated by Google) It is not one of the most spectacular churches in Alsace, but it has an altar with an altarpiece of great artistic quality. If you can, also look at it from behind as it is painted. And depending on how the light enters, you now have a great show of colors. Very nice exhibition showing the live and the achievements of Albert Schweitzer and his wife. It is more about the story telling than on original exhibits. Well done!
I was visiting there in March and took a look the museum. As a stamp collector, I am more interested to by Albert Schweitzer's postcards in the shop and luckly I did it. This year is also 150th birthday for Albert Schweitzer and Taiwan alsoissued this special stamp to memorize him. I have made the postcard, stamp, special postmark as the maximum card ! Thanks for the staff there, and it was a very great experience to visit.
I actually enjoyed learning more about Albert Schweitzer very much. You have to be a fan about history, even better if you're a fan of Schweitzer of course. It's a 3 room tour and our tour guide was extremely nice and knowledgeable.

(Translated by Google) The name "Kaysersberg" means "emperor's mountain." It first appeared in 1227, when the valley was purchased by Emperor Frederick II of Hohenstaufen. Thanks to its strategic location between the Alsace plain and Lorraine, the site became a key checkpoint on the road to the Col du Bonhomme. Kaysersberg became a free imperial city in 1293, granting it significant political and economic privileges. The town prospered in the Middle Ages thanks to the wine trade and the silver mined in the Vosges Mountains. From the 15th to the 17th century, the town was characterized by a rich religious, economic, and intellectual life. During the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648), Kaysersberg suffered looting and fires. It was later incorporated into the Kingdom of France under Louis XIV. Today, it is listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France and is famous for its half-timbered houses, cobbled streets, and wine-growing heritage. "The town worth its weight in silver": In the Middle Ages, Kaysersberg derived part of its wealth from silver mines exploited in the nearby mountains. This valuable trade attracted much interest... and contributed to its prosperity. Birthplace of a Nobel Peace Prize winner: The physician, philosopher, and musician Albert Schweitzer was born here in 1875. His humanitarian work in Africa and his ethic of "respect for life" earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952. He often played the organ in the nearby church. A fairytale Christmas: Kaysersberg is one of the most popular Alsatian villages during Advent. Its artisanal Christmas market, set up in the period courtyards, is renowned for its simplicity, its authenticity... and its aromas of gingerbread.

Such a wonderful French Patisserie! Beautiful and tasty treats 😋 would highly recommend for anyone looking for the authentic French feel.
Unfortunately my experience was a disaster. We bought a Kugelhopf but it was dry and tough like a stone. Impossibile to eat! Probably it wasn't fresh (and it can happens, we were near closing hour) but the shopping assistant had to inform us and suggested a different kind of sweet.

Excellent public swimming pool. Saturday mornings they set up the pool for children with in-water play equipment and flotation devices. There is also a smaller pool for kids under 6 months. It was about 12 euro for our family of 4 to enter the pool. Beautiful indoor heated pool - our kids loved this place.
When you are just looking for an ordinary swimming pool, go there and you will enjoy it. When you expect something exceptional in the sense if no chlorine being used at all, you will be disappointed because contrary to what they say on the website, we definitely noticed chlorine in the pool.
Very good for the families with small children. They have really nice pool for the smallest ones with water slides and other attractions.
Clean, light swimmingpool, but quite small. However, it does have a nice slide and a whirlpool.

You can also find photocopies there to more simply understand the works and the place. (Translated by Google) Well, interesting,... and free. A guide, who really knows a lot of history in general and of Kaysersberg specifically, triples the value of this small museum, located on the upper floor of a medieval house. Enter via the winding staircase, go through the balcony. Don't just look at the beautiful collection but also discover how people lived at the time, got water (from the river below the building),... find the stone on the window side which served as a sink, listen to the history of the eremite, listen to why the collection of prehistoric 'axes' is so valuable,... what a discovery in this tourist village. My compliments to the guide.
