Great experience. The breakfast came with a good amount of actual maple syrup compared to other sugar bushes. The eggs and hashbrowns were really good and reasonable portions. Went at open and the line ups were reasonable. If you go midday you will wait in lines. Having horses for the wagon rides was great compared to other places which use tractors and the petting zoo was cute with goats running all over. Definitely recommend this place!
We enjoy a picking our own strawberries. We chose the hottest day that made our visit a bit unpleasant. Service was fast at the entrance and the tractor cart was convenient. It was nice to see the few farm animals. The goats were very cute. Strawberries were small but delicious.
Great place been going for years,we always go for strawberry picking and then later return for blueberry and raspberries. And the corn was awesome a bit small but its the first cut of the season. It will be much better in the upcoming weeks. But very sweet and delicious
Love it here!! Brings so many memories from when I was younger coming here with my family every year, to volunteering for skreamers and to now bringing my son to make more amazing memories! Definitely recommend going! During the day with family or for the spooky fun at night with friends! so many activities to do and they also have corn mazes and a super fun wagon ride! Can’t wait to go again next year!
Full-day fun for a young family! Giant haystacks to climb, play structures, a giant slide, corn maze and several bouncy castles. We went during the Halloween season and my kids (aged 6&8) really enjoyed it. Highlights were an inflatable haunted house and the pedal car ride. There was also a wagon wide to some other activities like a scavenger hunt in the woods that my kids were less interested in. They also let you bring your own food which we did. You can buy food there too. The entry fee is decent for healthy, outdoor fun that keeps the kids active and entertained for a whole day.
We had a great time! Ages of children ranged from 2 to 9 and all enjoyed themselves! Lots to do - lots of play structures for the kids to play on, wagon ride was nice and not scary since we had some really little ones, face painting was great, kids enjoyed the farm animals and hay stacks. Also, liked the BBQ set up with proceeds being donated. They also have picnic tables scattered so there's lots of space to sit with family and bring your own snacks. We will be back next year :)
I had so much fun with friends and family on multiple occasions throughout the seasons! And awesome place to go for activities in ever season!
Best farm in the area!! Been going for years!! So much to do and for a good price. Very friendly staff! Love the store their canned goods are delicious. We go for berry picking, pumkin and the sugar shack!

The Vintage Village of Lights was beautifully done, not to mention very reasonably priced ($26/group of up to 6 people). We made our way around all the buildings, as well as the illuminated walking path, in about an hour. Lineup to see Santa was minimal, staff used a number system to keep track of who was next in line. We saw some leather making, woodworking, and printing in progress. We finished off with a snack at the cookie decorating station.
We went here for the Muslim Fest and it was a very good experience. The Heritage Village itself is a beautiful place and the festival made it so much more fun. Plus they had a drone show afterwards.
Muslim festival at Cumberland museum was amazing great food fantastic performance and stalls with beautiful jewelry, abayas, and souvenir from different countries. Lots of open parking without any charges and the security and volunteers did a great job. Looking forward for the same festival in Ottawa again. Enjoyed drone show for the first time.
EDIT: I don't want to wrongly blame anyone, but I got nails in my tires most likely while parking here (they had event parking in a grass field, in addition to their unpaved lot/road). Really nice as an event venue. The collection of heritage buildings is mid; but it's nice to attend an event there and stroll through the buildings when you need a few mins to relax.
I visited this place during the Fall Color Run. Looks like an awesome place to visit with kids.
Visited for the Christmas displays a week ago (December). What a cool experience. We were there just as the sun was setting and it was beautiful. Lots of fun activities. Our kids (and the adults) had a wonderful time.
Imagine stepping into a village frozen in the era of the 1920s-30s, a nostalgic time capsule waiting to be explored. Surrounding you are vintage homes, each piece of furniture echoing stories of a bygone era. The local press, school, carpentry, farm, garage, workshop, and church are pristine representations of that period. As you stroll, the townsfolk, draped in period attire, go about their daily lives. The village is buzzing with anticipation, as craftsmen are busy preparing for Christmas. With the hum of a 1930s machine, the carpenter skillfully crafts lathes, carts, and delicate wooden trinkets. The press churns out notebooks and gift bags using a 1920s printer, while the forge produces exquisite iron gifts. It's not just a visit; it's a mesmerizing journey back in time. Doesn't that sound enchanting?
A great experience for just about everyone I happened to be in the area running some errands when I saw this lovely recreation of what used to be the town about 100-125 years ago. The buildings are in great condition, the docents are excellent and helpful, all decked out in period clothing, speaking about the life experiences of their characters! I was there almost at closing time, yet they took me over the places I was most interested in seeing such as the one room schoolhouse. We talked about lots of things, such as demographics served, teaching conditions, students lives, lifecycle of the building (which was an actual school, not a replica) and the events surrounding its closure. All in all, CHV is a very engaging place, and it is a great outing, whether you are taking your out of town guests, your children or you just want to learn more about life in ON as it was during the Agricultural Era. NB: Pictures were taking by me during my visit.

absolutely stunning natural area with so many beautiful statues to see, from all different parts of the world and walks of life. the staff were extremely friendly & helpful, pathways are well maintained. lots of up and down hills, trail can be a little narrow and steep at points, so highly recommended to wear good hiking shoes or boots. a wonderful labour of love, more than worth the $10 entrance fee.
The place is nice and has a lot of statues placed along a path loop that takes about 30 mins to cover on foot. The entry fee of $10 per head is a bit high for the limited activity here. There's a 10 minutes long disclaimer to fill out before you start, due to the high risk of falling off the path and getting injured if you're not careful.
This is a hidden jewel in the township of Cumberland in lower Canada now known as Quebec. Lots of interesting sculptures throughout the park. The flowers and grounds are pretty as you enter. Be sure to take bug spray. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
We recently celebrated our engagement party at Humanics Sanctuary and Sculpture Park, and it could not have been more perfect! 🌿💍 From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the peaceful beauty of nature and the inspiring sculptures that make this place so unique. The setting was absolutely magical — serene trails, stunning art, and a sense of calm that made our special day feel even more meaningful. Our guests were in awe of the surroundings and loved exploring the park between celebrations. The team was wonderful to work with, accommodating every request and ensuring everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, welcoming, and inspiring venue to start this new chapter in our lives. If you’re looking for a place that blends nature, art, and heart, we can’t recommend Humanics Sanctuary and Sculpture Park enough. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️
Cute place to go for a hike in a forest trail and see very cool sculptures. Don't forget your bug spray if the mosquitos like you. It's about a 15-20 minute walk depending on your speed. There are some steep hills, so if you are looking for an easier, flatter trail, this might not work for you. There is an area to rest and let kids play, bathrooms as well.
This place is a good picnic spot and not just a sculpture park. There's a play structure at the entrance and picnic shelters. The sculptures are placed alongside a trail and there are millions of mosquitoes in there so don't forget your bug spray.
Hidden Gem nestled in an Ancient Forest of Tranquility! We spent 2 hours walking these beautiful well maintained walking/hiking trails. There were SO many fascinating & educational spots showcasing amazing hand carved sculptures from around the world, representing awareness of "Who we are" by sharing the 3 essential values of 1. Oneness 2. Equality 3. Interconnection. We took over 30 pictures & read all the sculpture info boards displayed, which reflect which religion AND which essential value, each sculpture represents. We were SO impressed, we bought an annual membership so we can come as many times as we'd like & plan to bring our children & grandchildren. This is an awesome venue for Celebration of Life, Weddings, Family Gatherings, Meditation Workshops, etc... Located just 1/2 hour from Ottawa and nestled in the town of Cumberland, just off Highway #174, with access to the Park from Old Montreal Road. Well done and MANY more expansion ideas/plans in the works!
Such a peaceful and beautiful place! I loved walking through the trails, surrounded by nature and stunning sculptures. It felt calm, welcoming, and inspiring the kind of place you leave feeling lighter.
