Wonderful lagoon, always pure water, amazing pine smell. Pretty Expensive (30€ for 2 beds and 2 umbrellas) but the beach is always clean and well organized. Very good service (personal thanks to Slavko). The staff is very friendly.
Gorgeous beach. Lovely view and clean. It was just annoying that there are so many parasols and people. I wish some beaches were quieter.
The beach itself & setting is really beautiful, but as many others have said it's incredibly crowded (even at 10am there is essentially no space to put your things) and it is pretty dirty. They are also building another beach bar at the far end so the far end of the beach the water is gross and there is construction noise/dirt. Some expensive beach bars and umbrellas along the beach if you want this, with the free area squeezed into a corner which I guess will get smaller with the new beach bar when it's completed. Once you get past the first 3/4 meters of children and people in the sea the experience changes and the sea is very nice to swim in, but this is not a relaxing beach to stay on all day during high season.
Lučica Beach is a hidden gem just south of Petrovac—clear turquoise water, soft pebbles and sand, and surrounded by pine-covered cliffs creating a calm, family-friendly vibe. Beach infrastructure is solid: sunbeds and umbrellas (often paid, around €15–30 for two), a bar/restaurant booth, public restrooms, showers, and a basic kids’ playground. Parking’s easy with free and paid options nearby. Calm, shallow waters make it safe for kids and swimmers; great for snacks, swimming, and lounging. It gets noticeably crowded mid-day in summer, but you can still find space if you go early.
Nice beach. Sunbed+ umbrella 30€ for full day. after 5pm its 20€.
Lučice beach is a great choice, and honestly better than the main beach in Petrovac. It has a more natural feel, and the water is super clean. It does get crowded, especially in the part where people lay out their towels – there, folks often don't leave much room to pass, which can be a bit annoying. But there’s also a section with sunbeds, and the Barboon café offers them under much better conditions than most beach bars (definitely recommended!). Once you get past the shallow area, the sea is actually quite calm and not crowded at all. If you bring an air mattress or something to float on, you can really enjoy the open space. Even near the buoys, the depth isn’t too much – you can still see the bottom. All in all, it’s a great place to spend the day, especially if you want a mix of beach fun and a bit of peace in the water.
Nice beach, but not as clean as Petrovac beach. More free space, but can be very crowdy during weekends and in high season. At the moment of arrival children's playground was not in a very good shape, the waterslide, too. Small promenade. Nice sunsets.
Went there early morning (Wed 21 Aug) around 8am, we were among the first people to get 4 umbrellas and 4 beds for €60 in the first row. Outside the beds area there were a lot of people already. The parking barrier was up and nobody to charge us the €5 for the parking, but you can pay when leaving. The beds area got fully occupied by 10:30. In 4-5 meters the water starts to get to over 2 meters deep and slowly it gets to 5-6M deep. Water was pretty clear with 5-8 meters visibility (underwater) and not too many fish. There were lots of families with kids as well, everybody seemed to enjoy it, small waves of max 20-30 cm high... Overall a good experience.

Petrovac is a very place in Montenegro 🇲🇪. Nice small beach town. Very friendly and some excellent places to eat. Beach is not the best I have been to in the Adriatic, but beautiful colours of the sea. Beach easy to get to. A good few coffee shops and restaurants close by.
Greek vibe little village with a small beach, with a lot off public beach area’s (without payed sunbeds). Compared to other beaches, it’s really crowded here. Beach is mainly sand and offers no pebbles (except the corners). Has a nice viewpoint in the harbor. Worth visiting.
The beach is a mixture of coarse grain sand and pebbles, very unsteady, your feet drowns when you step into the water. The depth increases very quickly and sharply, it is above your head already in several meters from the shore. Because of that, there is almost always a big wave hitting the shore, so it is tricky when you try to get out. It might be fun of course, but not great for children and relaxed swims. Water is overall clean, transparent, better than Budva.
Lovely promenade and surroundings with good choice of restaurants and cafes. Lot's of ATM machines and shops as well. The beach itself is covered by small stones, almost sand like. Not much beach facilities available but I have to consider that we visited Petrovac in October. A few tour boats offering private tours and shared ones to Budva, St Stefan island and St Nicola.
Dirty, overcrowded, overpriced (25eur for 2 sunbeds), no public toilets, no parking, cold water (I don’t know why), and closed at night (you can’t go for a night beach walk as people from the nearby hotel will tell you to leave) also trash on the beach and in the water. I never seen in my life as bad place with so good rating.
It's busy but has a great vibe. Get there early. Sun loungers cost a lot... Like between 25-40 EUR. Public beaches can get crowded but are free. The promenade is nice. Food and drink is not expensive. There are two there beaches nearby if you're prepared to walk 20 + mins. Family friendly. Some trash lying around here and there.
Nice beach and lot of space in late september. No toilet, no trash bins why?
Petrovac Beach is undeniably beautiful, with clear waters and stunning views. However, the beach maintenance and trash collection could be significantly improved. A large portion of the beach is reserved for sunbed and umbrella rentals, starting at €25 and up, yet the facilities are lacking—showers and changing rooms are inadequate. There’s no music or any kind of service included in the rental price, and there are no public restrooms available on the beach. Visitors either have to return to their accommodation or rely on nearby cafés or restaurants to use a bathroom. With better upkeep and basic amenities, this beach could truly live up to its potential.

Good experience! Pilot didn’t speak much English but he was very experienced with 30 years of paragliding! His daughter translated which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend when visiting Budva, just be aware there isn’t much of a safety briefing prior to flying!
Fantastic experience! The team was quick, efficient, and inspired confidence. My almost 10 year old boy loved every minute of his 20-minute flight. Highly recommend this activity if you are visiting Budva. The team picked us up at our hotel in Budva at noon & delivered us back to it after our flight just after 1pm.
Really bad experience. The car ride to the take-off was super uncomfortable, the driver was driving fast with one hand while checking his phone. Felt really unsafe. At the take-off spot, the wind was too strong, and even the instructors said it wasn’t safe at first. But after waiting a bit, they just lost patience and went for it anyway — no running, nothing, just got yanked into the air by the wind. My friend literally flew above two clouds — it looked crazy dangerous. To top it off, they messed up the GoPro and didn’t record her flight at all, which was honestly the main reason we booked this. Unprofessional, unsafe, and just not worth the stress. So for my friend the experience was -10 stars, for me 3/5
I still can't believe I did that. I got a chance to overcome my fear. Such an amazing experience I had with this paragliding team. Thank you Vladen for making me feel so comfortable and encouraging me. Extremely happy with the services. Thanks a lot
An unforgettable first paragliding experience in Montenegro — breathtaking views from mountains to sea and a rush of adrenaline with fun acrobatic twists in the sky!
Great experience. Incredible views during the flight. Pilots are very professional. Highly recommended
This was hands-down one of the most unforgettable experiences of our Montenegro trip! The team at Budva Paragliding Montenegro was professional, friendly, and made us feel completely safe from start to finish. The booking process was smooth, and communication was excellent leading up to the flight. Once in the air, the views over Budva’s coastline were absolutely breathtaking it felt like floating in a dream. The pilot was super skilled and even captured amazing photos and videos for us. The entire experience was well worth the price, and there were no hidden costs. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
My daughter and I had a great time paragliding yesterday! It was amazing!! We both felt completely safe and just sat back and enjoyed. We didn't get the go pro - i just attached my phone to my wrist and it was fine - so smooth that taking videos and photos was easy. I've wanted to do this for such a long time - and it did not disappoint!

Man fühlte sich irgendwie abgezockt Kosten: 3h 40€ (Translated by Google) The tour to the two islands is nice and doesn't take too long. You need a rope to moor to the island with the church. Water shoes are also recommended. Mooring on the second island is even more challenging - but also quite doable. Unfortunately the Kayak People weren't so nice. The kayak wasn't good either. Water was constantly running in and items were only stored upon request. You felt kind of ripped off Cost: 3h 40€
15 euro per hour for sup is overprice
Scammers, when returning the canoe, they asked us twice the price to pay than we agreed before renting

Easy to visit, shop is open, clean, water, toilets, old from 13 century & later buildings, working as a church like in old time, interesting walk from closest beach to it, go up hills, be ready to be tired, good shoes & proper clothes, in summer can be too hot. On Sundays morning liturgy at 10
We stumbled upon this beautiful Monastery passing by while on road trip in Montenegro. We visited in morning. Place was calm and serene with sparrows chirping all around and spring blooms. Sheeps were grazing in enclosure with their bells tinkling. Car Parking is available too.
A very peaceful place. We prayed and planted candles for our wishes. Please let it come true!
The Reževići Monastery lies hidden between Budva and Petrovac, nestled among olive groves overlooking the breezy Adriatic coast—a true medieval gem. Founded in the 13th century by Serbian King Stefan Prvovenčani, the sacred site was later expanded under Emperor Dušan’s patronage, housing two churches with distinct Byzantine-influenced architecture. Its stone walls and fresco-covered interiors preserve the spirit of centuries past. Though ravaged by pirates, Ottoman raids, and earthquakes throughout history, the monastery has risen time and again from ruin. Its 17th- and 19th-century icons stand as a testament to the enduring power of faith and art. Reževići is more than a place of worship—it is a sanctuary echoing with the resilience of history. Visitors are welcomed by birdsong, distant bell chimes, and panoramic sea views. This sacred hilltop offers a timeless, peaceful retreat where nature and history intertwine seamlessly.
Beautiful monastery, peacefull energy and a battery charger for the soul.
a serene place filled with soothing energy. very friendly welcome and some of the most peaceful momenrs spent in Montenegro.
Quiet, old and very well maintained monastery. Great views from observation point.
If you've seen one monastery....... But it does have a wonderful seeing platform to look out over the bay (with the abandoned half built hotel, and sea.) :-)

Remains of a Roman Villa and mosaic .Tucked out of the way. Although there it’s signed from the main road it took a bit of exploring to find it. Nice to see that the mosaic is protected from the elements it was closed the day we visited.
Not that difficult to find. From St. Thomas church follow the dirt path. AMBER line on the screenshot. It will take you through an off road car park. Just walk through and you will find the building. Easy to see the mosaic through the glass.
