This is an amazing and fun place to go, no hidden fees just fun for all ages, We had a family trip 7 adults and 6 kids age ranging from 3 til 12. The kids loved every part - play park, water slides, maze, shooting range, tree top nets, dinosaurs and the illusion. The adults had fun doing the tree top course and the sky dive. Everything was amazing. The one problem from our visit was it was swarming with wasps. They were everywhere. Would recommend for any age 👌
Fun and good with kids - won't hold the all day but half or a bit more. Queues at peak time can see you wait anywhere from 10 to over 30 minutes - especially for the main attractions (water slides...). While there are multiple things to see and do, we felt we were coming back to a couple mainly, trying to balance queues waiting time and value! Few fast food stands with the quality you would expect from this type of place - nothing gastro of course!
A bit expensive but with the money. Great fun for the whole family. You can easily spend whole day there having fun on various attractions. Always book your ticket in advance online for a nice discount.
This was the first of many activities we booked before arriving to stay in Aviemore and what a great place to start off our holiday. Fun activities for kids and grown ups alike, I personally went out of my comfort zone and did the high ropes, having never done anything like that before it really tested me but so glad I did it, my daughter even did the skydive and showed great bravery
Landmark Forest Adventure Park is a fantastic day out for families! The panoramic views from the treetop tower are absolutely breathtaking, with sweeping forests and Highland mountains as far as the eye can see. The Cairngorms lookout point is both scenic and informative. Our kids had an amazing time, especially enjoying the water slide and the climbing facilities, which were safe, exciting, and well-designed. We also loved spotting butterflies in the tropical area. Beautifully maintained, fun, and full of natural beauty. Highly recommended for all ages.
Nestled in the forest, this Adventure Park is brilliant, we came just as the local schools went back which meant there were no queues at all. There is so much to do and explore as well as some really good activities. My 3 year old has told us it's his favourite place now thanks to the water slides. Great for all ages!
Went with husband, you defenetly do not need children to enjoy an adventure and to go out your comfort zone. Staff were friendly, loads to do with or without children. Beautiful grounds, informative information especially about dinosaurs 🦕 my husband especially enjoyed the water ride and the bid trampoline. Butterfly 🦋 house has lots of other interesting things, defenetly worth a visit for young and old with or without children.
A truly exceptional experience - the best amusement park in Scotland. Even standing on its own, the amusement park is incredible; however, once you couple that with the nature interwoven within, it is taken to a whole new level. FIVE STARS! COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE MORE!

Great course in a beautiful setting. Small clubhouse does good food too. Stunning on a nice day. £20 per adult visitor in summer.
Wonderful couple who were so inviting and kind. I came here on a whim, and they were so gracious to lend me clubs and get me right on. They allowed my boys to putt around and swing into the nets. Would recommend them wholeheartedly.
Cracking 9 hole course, stunning views, very well maintained. Challenging without being impossible for a (very!) amateur golfer. Lovely welcome from the couple in the clubhouse, was great to have a chat with them about the course and the area. Would definitely play here again on our next trip up to the Highlands. Many thanks for a great morning!
Stunning 9 hole course. Greenkeepers should be extremely proud of themselves. Course is in ridiculously good condition. Greens played fantastic. Honesty box at the club. Would love to return
Great little 9 hole course. The fun starts after hole 3 when it goes up and down the hills with beautiful views to the Cairgorm Mountains. Warm welcome by the lady in the club house and some of the members on the course. Highly recommended gem.
A nice little 9 hole course (£15 for 9) in Carrbridge. Some blind holes off the whites but it's in pretty good nick and there are some tricky ones where dropping a club will help keep your ball out of trouble. Note the position of the markers as are all the flags are of varying heights!
Amazing golf course. As a novice I was welcome to play and the staff was lovely. The view from the higher holes was amazing
A true hidden gem. Undulating, manicured and with good greens. Couple of blind tee shots. Great views

Lovely village, gorgeous bridge and river walk. The village has facilities which were free to use and local cafes with great food choices.
What a cool piece of history that’s been preserved! Stairs and a landing with rail to get a close up view. Parking is best not in front of the viewing spot. Turn right after reaching the road and park up the street. The tourist traffic is a real hazard for the tiny town!
We visited the bridge on our hike through Ellan Wood on the fringes of the village of Carrbridge and then along the riverside section to the much photographed pack horse bridge. This 2.75 mile walk circuit is described in detail within the walkhighlands app and is considered an easy one. The hike begins and ends at the Ellan Wood Car Park, The trail passes the Lookout Tower that is within the Landmark Forest park, through Glencharnoch Wood, passes many wood carvings, crosses a suspension footbridge over the River Dulnain, follows along the river and then up to the main road beside the remarkable old pack horse bridge. After photographing the old packhorse bridge we then walked up Station Road, to the entrance to Ellan Woods car park. The old pack horse bridge had been built in 1717, and was damaged during the awful floods of 1829 which is know as the Muckle Spate.
Fantastic spot it is amazing that the bridge has been in place for so long. Obviously very popular there is ample parking about 100 meters beyond the bridge - no point trying to park on the village main street.
The Old Packhorse Bridge (also known as the Coffin Bridge) in Carrbridge, Scotland, was built in 1717. This narrow stone arch bridge, spanning the River Dulnain, was commissioned by Brigadier-General Sir Alexander Grant to enable funeral processions to reach Duthil Church during floods. It is the oldest surviving stone bridge in the Scottish Highlands and a Category B listed structure since 1971. Its parapets were lost to floods in the 19th century, but the core arch remains intact.
The Old Packhorse Bridge in Carrbridge is a beautiful and historic spot that’s well worth a visit. Built back in 1717, it’s the oldest stone bridge of its kind still standing in the Highlands. It was originally constructed to help people (and packhorses!) cross the River Dulnain on their way to funerals at Duthil Church. Although the bridge was partly damaged by floods in the 19th century, what remains is incredibly atmospheric. The arch rising over the river makes for stunning photographs, especially with the surrounding scenery. It’s amazing to think this fragile-looking structure has survived more than 300 years of Highland weather! Parking is nearby, and it only takes a short walk to reach the viewing point. Definitely a must-see landmark if you’re exploring Aviemore and the Cairngorms area.
Beautiful stop along our drive through Scotland! If you’re nearby it’s worth stopping to see - there’s a parking lot a few blocks away!
Cute little historical landmark, can take photos from the bridge next to it or there are some steps down to a viewing platform at river level to get photos of the water flowing underneath it. Worth a visit and to incorporate with a walk around the woodlands close by.

I recently completed a three day driving course with Gillian and really cannot recommend highly enough. Gillian is an excellent and patient teacher and her horses are wonderful to work with The course is packed full of hands on content and driving experiences. Gillian is very generous in sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience. I loved every minute and was made to feel very much at ease. Such a buzz!
I just recently completed a 3 day course with Gillian. The course is very informative and hands on. I have learnt so much from Gillian and throughly enjoyed every day. From long reining Benji and then going for a drive on the road with Lola and then Holly. To then learning a cone and obstacle course with Holly. Such a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again Gillian. 😊
Thank you Gillian for a lovely stable morning and carriage ride. We all loved meeting Holly and Benji and trotting along the back roads with the snow covered mountains in the background was a delight.
I can't praise Gillian and Holly enough. I booked a block of lessons to start my driving experience off. The lessons were just what was needed and always fun. Gillian is so knowledgeable and Holly is a perfect horse to learn to drive with, always calm, forgiving and great fun when we did the cones courses. The surroundings are also so beautiful, adding to the experience. I have booked a drive out for my family, and am really looking forward to it.
Gillian really cares about her ponies and customers. We had a lovely ride into the country.Holly is beautiful & seemed to enjoy it too. Thanks So much.See you again next time we visit!
My other half arranged a surprise horse and carriage ride last year when we were in Carrbridge on holiday, he had actually just proposed that morning and Gillian and Holly taking us out for a beautiful ride with a bottle of champagne topped off the day perfectly! Would highly recommend!!!
My wife and I had a great 3 days with Gillian and Holly. I was a total novice and this was my first time with horses . Highly recommended.

Great day out my we girl had a great time and really nice staff.
Did two horse riding lessons with girls (age 3 & 5), in 2015 Summer Trip, nice location and horses are well looked after but walk was fairly basic (same walk both times along road and around an old tree felling site) and no real training on horses or interaction with kids. Given Carrbridge has lovely forest paths and trails for horses all around the village this would be much nicer if used forest paths (worth noting that there are other horse riding options available on large private estates nearby)
Very good with children. The ponies seemed bored and some were decidedly obstinate.

We were parked in front of the studio and I just drawn to the store display. Everything in the shop was a display of cohesive art, ceramics, jewelry, and paintings. Very modern and contemporary. Was so glad to meet and chat with Jeff Buttress, the artist and the owner of the shop. Bought some gifts and definitely highly recommend for someone looking for a Highland made gift.
Interesting crafts and paintings, most of it made by the family that owns the place. Totally worths the visit.
A beautiful family run gallery with a great selection of hand-made pottery, original paintings, chainsaw carvings and jewellery. My wife and I have bought several pieces here over the years. Most definitely worth a look if you're in the area. Plus, there's a cafe opposite, so a great place for a pitstop if you're on a roadtrip.
Lovely little art studio. Every time I visit Aviemore I make a special trip to this studio. The artists are very friendly and always have time to talk to you. The paintings are fantastic, I’ve bought quite a few including one of Loch Morlich. They also have intricate jewellery and charming figures of highland cows and owls. Would recommend a visit!
A lovely art studio and well worth a visit - a wide range of pieces all made by the family that run it.
Family owned gallery with a wide range of beautiful artwork, ended up taking some home with us!
Been to this lovely wee gallery a few times. Bought some ceramics and also some jewellery
Brilliant small gallery offering work from 3 members of a family
