Cool little zoo that we stumbled on. We went on a warm day with my 3 young kids (5,3,1) without a stroller. Rented a cart. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. there are a decent amount of hills And areas the cart couldn’t access. I ended up wearing the baby while wishing for my BOB stroller. Decent selection of animals, lots of bathrooms and food though a lot were closed today on a Tuesday. Lots of playgrounds through out also!

It was nice to see those beautiful creatures, but it hurts to see that some of them have a very limited space or imprisoned in such narrow places. Apart from that, it was easy to find the animals since there are signs that indicate where each animal is. You can also have a drink, a sausage/hot dog and other drinks or fast food since there are a few cafes spread inside the zoo. I can recommend going there for a change or when one feels a bit bored.

I took my toddler to the zoo and we both had a blast. Our favourite part was the falcon show and the bald eagle flew just inches above my head. Almost all of the animals looked healthy (minus one monkey that was missing all of its fur). We had a stroller which was hard to push around some of the steeper parts, but still doable. I had the falcon burger at the kiosk near the falcon show and elephants and it was really good. One of the best burgers I have had in Germany. There was plenty of free parking outside of the zoo and the staff spoke English which was very helpful. I highly recommend this zoo!

So when you walk outside from one of the exists you might be on the other side of the road. So I kind of got lost when I walked outside.
