The View and Ambience is spectacular, relaxing and close to nature. You feel you are truly on Holiday or embarking on a lovely journey starting from a lovely Boat trip to a Beautiful Hiking Adventure. The Restaurant Ambience is very cozy, scenic, and energizing!! It overlooks the gorgeous Achensee, almost feels like a dream!! The food is average, but I guess the scenery and atmosphere covers for that!! The service is great and very attentive!!

A very charming restaurant on the lakefront. Even though it was quite busy, the staff managed well and service was quick. The food was good — a mix of local and international dishes. You can pay by card in the restaurant, but unfortunately not at the small kiosk next door (selling ice creams and drinks by the children’s playground) — there it’s cash only.

This place is located as the perfect stop and destination on a hike around the beautiful area of Achensee. The food however was not impressive, service slow and quality not worth the money. Perfect for a coffe stop though.

There's this cool spot on Lake Achensee where you can totally chill and relax. They've got a bunch of beach chairs you can use, and you can even go for a swim right there. The cappuccino is on point, and the chips and cake are bomb. The staff are super friendly and attentive, too. The only thing is, it can get a bit crowded when the boat comes in.

The Karwendel Bergbahn was an incredible experience — a thrilling cable car ride that takes you high into the Alps. The views were absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the surrounding mountains. Although it was a bit nerve-wracking at times due to the height, the ride felt safe and well-managed. The service runs efficiently with two cable cars operating in rotation, so the wait time is minimal. Overall, it was a short but unforgettable journey through some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen.

This is a must see. Fantastic hiking and cycling trails in absolutely stunning scenery. Great little bays for swimming, weather permitting. If you're after peace and quiet this is the place to be. Highly recommended. If anywhere near the area you need to go and visit.

Not too crowded when I visited. The view at the top is very nice. Hiking trails are very well marked with prominent signs everywhere. Trail 4 is easy to walk. The hike down to Rodelhütte (after diverting from trail 4) is easy too.

Amazing views awaits you once you are at the top. Their are multiple marked pathways which you can choose to hike. All paths are very well maintained. Views of Achen see are beautiful from top. It can get very windy right now so dress appropriately. Remember that you can reimburse your parking ticket with the cable car tickets. We forgot to do it in the morning when taking the cable car but when we asked the gentleman while getting down, he so kindly gave our money back. Their parking is huge so you will surely find a place.

Fantastic school for our kids of 4,5 and 8. They are really flexible in switching between groups if they notice a child needs more attention or needs to moved up to a more advanced group. Really friendly teachers and staff who are great with kids. The medal race and ceremony for all the kids at the end of the week with Bobo was the highlight of our week! Really recommend them and we will definitely be back!

Our twins are 7 years old and at home are in a special school due to their special needs. First I was nervous due to their 'challenges'. For that reason we booked a 2 hours course. They both started off with Silke. The first day C was put into the care of Yente, where he was allowed to take his first steps in skiing and discovering his possibilities. M ended up getting along with the group of Silke and she has really touched a soft spot, which usually takes more time. Both the boys made progress in their own unique way and had a great time with the teachers and children in their groups. They didn't want to leave and wish they could live there. Walked in to rent 4 bikes. We had to try at least 10 bikes as most of them had gear/seat issues. The lady that helped us out was a bit impatient although helpful. After about an hour of riding (in which we found more and more issues with the bikes) the chain of one of the bikes broke off completely. Since the shop was on their break we had to walk the bikes back to the shop. At least we got a partial refund. All in all not a great experience at all. Better find another place

Clanky old bike started making a terrible noice and brakes weren’t good. We told them when we returned but refunds or reductions were “not possible”.

We spent a week at Hotel der Wiesenhof. We absolutely loved it. The location is stunning, the staff friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and it has the most beautiful swimming pool and spa centre. It is one of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed at and would return without hesitation.

This hotel is in a lovely position and for our skiing trip we had an excellent room with balcony and views over the lake. However, although there was plenty of food we thought it was overrated, odd non complementary flavours and mixes. We preferred to go back to our room (as most seemed to do) rather than stay in the bar, never feeling quite comfortable somehow. Swimming pool looked lovely but not tried.

Fantastic three-generation family run hotel in the heart of the Tirol, amazing service and facilities. Hard to fault on any front, really enjoyed our stay here this summer. The spa and pool are fully equipped and clean, rooms & bathrooms immaculate and lots of add-ons available such as golf cart & ebike hire, make-your-own packed lunches for excursions, room service and more. Best staff service I think I've ever enjoyed in a European hotel... 5⭐

We enjoyed a great week stay. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious food, cosy and warm atmosphere. Perfectly located. Very good spa. Beautiful garden to relax in. Sadly our room was old-fashioned and cheaply furnished. Not enough space in wardrobe. Waste bin only in the bathroom. Poor pillows. We were charged a dog bed, but it was only a piece of cloth. For our 10 kg foxterrier they provided a food bowl of The Hound of the Baskervilles size. We were not allowed to dine outside on the terrace, which was also a bit dissapointing. The biggest minus: surprisingly bad, instant coffee for breakfast, I would take espresso for granted in such as hotel. Anyway I would definitely go back.

This was our 4th stay at the Wiesenhof and the standrards remain consistently high. The accommodation is first class, wonderful views from the balcony, location is perfect as you are spoiled for choice of nearby beautiful hikes and of course an amazing spa to return to after a day out. Every member of staff is so helpful, special mention to the reception & housekeeping teams as well as Cherif, the bar man, whose wonderful cocktails and drink recommendations were a great way to end the day!
