The Broadwalk Shopping Centre is a convenient local spot with a good mix of essential stores and services. From supermarkets and pharmacies to small independent shops, it covers most daily needs. It’s clean and generally well-maintained, with helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere. While it’s not a huge centre, it’s perfect for quick errands or casual shopping. Parking is usually available, and public transport access is great.
The Broadwalk Shopping Centre is a nice small shopping centre in Edgware right next to the station. It has well known retail stores everything is on the ground floor along with costa coffee sweet machine and toilets. The centre was clean and tidy when I came here.
A bit too hectic for my taste — feels like a jumble sale, but that’s part of TK Maxx’s charm. Loads of discounted items from everywhere under one roof. They’ve got a great selection of candles, niche food bits, and nice gift ideas in the “smellies” section. Seasonal items are always fun (Halloween at the moment). Staff are friendly and helpful, even with the busy crowds. Not ideal if you don’t like clutter or chaos, but you can find some real gems if you have patience.
I have been there looking for a lost key, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
I love broadwalk centre by itself. The stores are all great with sweet assistants. But the stall near the main entrance that sells perfumes has very discriminatory sellers, that only sample their perfumes to a certain demographic of races and people. I hope they can change their behaviour in the near future, as I am pretty sure it goes against some laws to discriminately sell on the basis of race.
This place is a bit chaotic for me ,it's like going to a jumble sale ,but I believe that's just the nature of tkmax as is all what seems to be stuff from all different places sold at a discounted price all under one roof. They do a nice range of scented candles and some different types of niche food items. If you are overwhelmed with crowds or a cluttered environment then this is not the place to go. Staff seem nice and friendly despite the obvious bombarding of customers, many whom do not seem to have any manners at all. You can buy some nice little gifts that look pretty from the "smellies section" and they always do some nice seasonal items, at the moment it's Halloween.
Delicious Iranian Dnacks Dubai fragrances TX Max and other delightful shops Great shopping experience Thankyou Guys
Worst toilets I have seen in my life.. dirty and disgusting... been going there for years, never seen those toilets clean. The manager and cleaners should have more respect for their job and for the people that pass in the shopping centre.. Absolutely shameful.

Absolutely delicious! The food was exceptional, every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience truly enjoyable. The value for money was incredible. We tried the mixed grill which included lamb chops, wings grill, kebeb, chicken grill... we also tried classic mogu, naan, chicken curry, momo, and classic mogu, and every bite was a delight. If you're looking for a fantastic Indian and Nepalese restaurant in Edware, North London, this is the place to go!
I would highly recommend this restaurant for both Nepali and Indian cuisine. Food here is exceptional and the service is good as well. The ambience is great for dining with friends and family. We had a great time altogether.
Staff are really friendly. The food however was exceptional! I had to indulge in a few too many starters - all of which were really tasty. Unfortunately I had no room for mains which means I will have to come back very soon! I'd certainly recommend to friends and family.
I had a fantastic experience at Malibu Darbar , which offers a wonderful blend of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere.✨🤩 The food was absolutely delicious 😋 authentic flavors, aromatic spices, and beautifully presented dishes. The momo dumplings were a highlight: fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The butter chicken was creamy . What truly made the evening special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server patiently explained the dishes and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Service was prompt, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout the meal. Owner brother is so kind and friendly. Whether you’re new to Nepalese and Indian food or a longtime fan, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of great food and outstanding service makes it a place I’ll definitely return to and recommend to friends and family. 💕✨
What a transformation! This restaurant is thriving under new management, and the changes are incredible. The new chef has truly elevated the menu—every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was perfect. The updated decor creates such a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out—it’s a whole new experience!
Really tasty food, mix of nepalese and indian cuisine. Dipika was a good host. And all my thanks to my friend Anup who recommend this place. Owner were really sweet specially shankar dai. Thank you for the food and service. I recommend this place for everyone.
“I had a great experience at Malibu . The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The atmosphere was equally enjoyable, with a comfortable and welcoming vibe that made the meal even better. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.
Amazing food and drinks , staff are awesome, service is excellent, even the chef comes out to ask how the good food is. Cannot complain, super venue for a family dinner. Highly recommend.

Taxi service
Transportation
Slide 1 of 8
Fantastic taxi service. Very reliable, the drivers are professional and respectful. They are experienced in transportation of individuals with SEN needs and the drivers also understand the needs of the individuals. They have supported my child for over 3 years and have done with care and professionalism. Outside of that I have used their services for over 8 years so know all the drivers very well. Definitely recommend this company.
I booked a taxi through their website, easy to use and thought that was that. I then received a call to confirn the details, and quoting the cost as £10 more than what was detailed on their online booking. Oh, theres a problem with the website, they said. Well for me theres a problem with booking a taxi with a company that changes the price after booking, so no thank you.
Friendly and reliable service with very reasonable rates. I’m not kidding when I say I literally relied on them for getting to my wedding — and then to transport 50 guests between venues. Oh and they drove me to a campsite outside of London for less than a Zipcar hire would have been. Anyway, great company.
I have used this company a number of times over the last few years and have found them reliable, courteous and fairly priced, with just the odd negative experience. Recently I have used them to take me and my cat to a local vet. The arrangement involves us being taken to and from the vet with the driver waiting for us and taking us back home and charging us for waiting time. The driver is also asked to carry the cat in his carrier, for which he gets a good tip. This worked well until the last visit when I was charged waiting time but the driver was sent out on another job! My cat was seen early and it meant the driver was not available to take us home promptly. It was also clear this had been arranged in advance and that it was not a case of an emergency cropping up. I had been up all night with my cat without a wink of sleep and was too tired to argue. I did raise it with the company afterwards but got nowhere, hence the need for this negative review. This was plain unadulterated dishonesty!!!! Please take care if you request the driver to wait. You should be charged for the wait but the driver should not be given another job when you are paying for him to wait for you! I have now come to a different arrangement as it relates to any future visits to the vet.
Had two not very good experiences with this taxi service. First time they forgot to bring the car seats that I ordered. Second time they sent a seven seater that had a very small boot space and could not accommodate the luggage and passengers we had. This was very stressful and we had to hire an Uber at the last minute.
I ordered a cab , gave them 3 weeks notice , and our driver was on time , had a nice car , drove us well , from Gatwick to Ealing . Great service , thank you !
Great mini cab service! The driver was professional and friendly, the ride was smooth, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend and will use again.
Very easy pre-booking process, driver was on-time, car was super clean. Excellent experience! Great experience and smooth journey on my way to Heathrow with driver mr S.Q khan Dalani

Beautiful historic church. Well worth a visit.
This grade I Listed church certainly merits attention with an unique interior, configuration and history. The overtly theatrical elements and gestures a testament to the peculiar vision, indulgence and indomitable will of the powerful local grandee. Evocative and pulsing with hubris here.. and so quiet.. you can almost hear the South Sea Bubble pop. An active community. Guided tours on certain days. Recommended.
Soo nice a visit especially on a summers day like today ☺
Father Paul is delightful still, he's been there for over 30 years. Besides the services and sermons, he has terrific knowledge about the neighborhood, Handel and the Duke of Chandos who is buried there as well. It's a cute little church. Go. Enjoy!
Beautiful Church, gorgeous artwork & history. The Mass I attended was lovely, & the Dear Lady it was for would have been delighted with it. God Bless her.
Beautiful little local church. It's rebuilt but has maintained all the original features where possible. A fitting tribute to a lovely old building
From the outside a small church on a suburban road but the stunning painted inside makes it a must see -rebuilt by the Duke of Chandos in the 18th century -the church also contains the Dukes mausoleum and an organ played by Frederick Handel himself.
Loved this church and chapel. We were given tour by local writer who told us many interesting stories and facts from history.

Really enjoyed the massage, yes it was strong and intense but you feel so much more relaxed afterwards! Amy was great and fun to talk to as well
The worst massage place me and my husband have ever been too. Very unprofessional. We arrived and entered the shop it was not welcoming or friendly, the staff were eating, sitting on the side with their feet up, The lady at the reception desk was also eating asked us to pay before treatment. They then ask you to take your shoes and socks off and bear in mind it's winter outside and we have jackets, gloves and hats on but they expect us to get our feet washed with everything on its not relaxing to start with. We then get shown our room & the room was freezing!! We asked for a thai oil relaxation massage but there was nothing relaxing about it. The lady I had, applied pressure to the point of pain i had to ask her twice to apply less pressure. I could hear my husband next to me also In excruciating pain and having to tell his therapist to apply less pressure and that the amount she was applying could kill him so i could only imagine his pain. His lady thought he was having a deep tissue massage so she had no clue what treatment he was having to start with and too top it all off she had a flu, cold and chesty cough and throughout are whole treatment all she did was cough and all over him I must say, we opened our eyes to see she had no mask on or even covering her mouth with a arm or tissue. It was disgusting, and made us feel sick. She should not be working or touching anyone in her condition. The whole time we could not wait to get out we both had the same thoughts to just end the massage early & just get out. The worst experience from a massage place we have ever been and we would not recommend this place.
The massage was extremely painful and far too hard with lots of cracking and extremely painful stretching. I asked repeatedly for her to be more gentle and she continued to hurt me. I have now been unable to move or sit or stand with terrible pain. I'm young and fit and my back was fine before this massage. These ladies are only trained for 2 weeks and don't know what they're doing. When I asked her to stop and told her it was painful she just laughed and said "ha ha painful". Avoid if you want to save your back!
Sri is simply the best! I’ve been coming for deep tissue massages for five years, and every session leaves me feeling renewed. Sri’s intuitive touch, expert technique, and ability to release deep tension make all the difference. If you want real relief and relaxation, I highly recommend Sri! Thank you! 🙏🏽☺️💋❤️
I get massages at the s place quite often and I can’t praise Emy enough, she’s amazing, managed to get rid of persistent back pain after just one session. Highly recommended!
I had the best hot stone massage by the lovely Sara. It was such a relaxing experience- will definitely book with her again. Thank you 🙏🏻
I had amazing massage by Amy . She was so professional and good at massage. I will definitely visit again
After moving to the area recently, I sought out a reliable massage therapy service to help with my chronic back pain, as recommended by my physiotherapist. Following several disappointing experiences with various masseuses, I discovered Rani Thai Spa. The therapists here are highly professional and well-trained, with no funny business. My preferred therapist is Ammy, who has brilliant stretching techniques. I highly recommend this spa!

This is a wonderful class for someone who has little or no experience using a sewing machine. You will learn how to cut a basic pattern, how a sewing machine works, how to work with two different fabrics, and at the end of the two hours you will be delighted with the beautiful tote bag that you created! The instructor (Nicole) is patient and extremely knowledgeable, and she is willing to answer even the most basic questions. And Ota will keep you entertained the entire time that you are visiting her shop. I can't wait to sign up for my next class.
Took a beginners dressmaking course over two Saturdays and I learned so much. I had just gotten a sewing machine at home and didn't know where to start with sewing something. The class thought me how to work with the machine, how to pattern draw and cut and then how to put it all together in a practical tote bag and a beautiful versatile dress. Marion had a very patient and customized teaching style, giving tips and tricks for every step of the process. Now I certainly feel more confident about playing with my sewing machine and getting pretty and practical results out of it. Thank you Luchi & Ota!
I had a fantastic embroidery experience here. Ota did my business logos and they came out perfect. She also did some fantastic embroidery and print for my son's school bag. I highly recommend and will defiantly be coming back. I am so happy a shop like this has opened in Edgware. Thank You Patrick
Ota was so helpful when I called to ask if they do an embroidery service. The name on the towel looks great - thankyou. Having visited the shop I'm now inspired to return for some lessons - to learn how to use my sewing machine!
I attended a coffee morning sewing class at Luchi and Ota for a number of reasons; partly because I have always been interested in sewing, partly because I was free that morning, partly because I thought I may meet some interesting people and partly because it was local to me. We were greeted by the larger than life, exuberant host, Ota who served us coffee and cupcakes while we pondered over what material we wanted to use to make our pillowcases.  Once we had cut our material to size,  we settled behind a sewing machine and under the supervision of Ota and another sewing instructor, we began.  It was a two hour session and I knew we would be instructed on what to do, would start and obviously would have to finish it off in our own time.  No.  At the end of the two hours I had a new found confidence on a sewing machine (having not used one for close to 15yrs), a fun session of eating, drinking, chatting and sewing and a finished item! Who could ask for anything more?!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and felt like I had accomplished something great, albeit small.
This is a wonderful class for someone who has little or no experience using a sewing machine. You will learn how to cut a basic pattern, how a sewing machine works, how to work with two different fabrics, and at the end of the two hours you will be delighted with the beautiful tote bag that you created! Thanks. I can't wait to book for my next level 🙄
I am short of words. Ota is simply awesome. I have been twice and end up spending hours with this lovely lady. She helped me clean and tune my machine. She also gave me great tips about issues from needles to fabrics! She is simply the best. Definitely the hostess with the mostest! 👊👊👊👊👊
I've had a great morning! Ota was a brilliant teacher, she explained everything and was very patient! We made really cute Christmas bags. Now I feel excited to come back and learn how to make a tote bag!

I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional customer service from LJ during the process of selling my car through We Buy Any Car. LJ's dedication and patience made the entire transaction seamless. Despite managing numerous clients single-handedly, he handled each interaction with a level of professionalism that exceeded my expectations. LJ's commitment to his clients truly sets him apart, making him a valuable asset to We Buy Any Car. I wholeheartedly recommend their services, not just because of the company but because of LJ's outstanding customer care.
Utterly useless place. Got an online quote to sell my car. When I took it there, the sales rep tried to haggle me down from £750 online quote to £250. When I asked why the discrepancy, I was told that online price is mainly to get people in. Needless to say I walked away and got a better price elsewhere. I would never go with these cowboys.
Great, efficient service in selling my car in no time. Might get a little less than going private or other means, but for lower value cars, it’s not worth the faff.
Just for giggles I typed in my car reg I have a very rare car the engine alone is worth £3000 my valuation was £2500 😅 man they must have some good sales people to still be in operation and lots of completely stupid customers which is feasible considering most people can't even change a tyre now. 😅 My tip auction your car or just sell it yourself
Was enticed with a decent price online and came with my car. The young lad was polite but that's about it. He knocked off circa. £1200 off vehicle and I asked why. He said engine is shaking, I told him my mechanic looked at it 2 days ago as I wanted to make sure it was in good selling order. He told me he's not a mechanic. So I asked if you are not a mechanic then how can you diagnose a shaky engine to be told, he can't but that's his thoughts. You say better price than part exchange, I say HA, you having a laugh.
I think Sam who I dealt with was honest professional helpful and trustworthy. I would tell friends and colleagues looking for a second car to visit Queensbury cars to see whsts on offer. I would deal with Sam again. Also the guys who delivered my car were very polite and spoke highly of Queensbury cars
Great service but the extra payment fees are a little silly. You will never get the price they quote you online - depending on the condition of your car they can knock off quite alot. But George was a nice guy and we walked away feeling like we got a good deal.
Terrible service at this particular branch with one particular agent. Avoid. He knocked off a huge amount of money compared to the online valuation despite it having been valued by a different colleague at the same branch a week earlier with no changes (I wasn’t in a position to sell it a week earlier). When we asked if there was a manager we could speak to, he refused to help or give a phone number, wouldn’t tell me his name and wouldn’t even hand me back the documents on his desk - told me to take them myself. Awful attitude. Went 10 minutes to the Borehamwood branch and got a far more sensible valuation. In fact, ended up selling it to his manager at Borehamwood!

I regularly climb here and the staff are very nice and the prices are amazing especially for under 18's. The student deals on Monday and Friday are also very good. The routesetting is really fun. One of my favourite bouldering gyms. There is also really good equipment for strength training. Including a rowing machine, squat rack and multiple campus boards. The newly installed moon board is also super cool.
I'm not to sure about the same activity over and over. There is nothing here but climbing the same walls, just with the grips arranged in different ways and some walls being steeper than just a flat wall. However, my kids seemed to enjoy it which I found surprising. I guess it is good for one hour of fun. The grown ups at the event seemed to take it very seriously. They will sit down together I groups looking at the climbs and strategising how to make the climbs 😕😕😕. I guess it gives them the feeling of actually climbing mountains or something. Certainly not the place for me but I have to rate it high since it gave the kids an hour of fun and grown ups that have an interest in such things seem to take it very seriously. Place is busy till night so they must be doing something right.
Great staff, very friendly. A cafe with drinks and snacks available, and good deals There are good prices for younger children as well, and introduction lessons are available for children over 12 The area is very large, with many different levels, overhangs and training equipment like weights There are even free improving sessions on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays (Wednesdays are girls only)
Great bouldering place. Not too expensive, busy, or loud either. The facilities such as changing rooms, toilets, and resting area are all clean and tidy. There is a nice cafe with healthy-ish snacks available. My family likes to climb here. We have been a few times now over the past few years. It's always been a good experience. I'd recommend being careful about parking on the street outside the climbing wall, the parking police cops in the area are very active.
I’ve only been here three times - never climbed before and I’m already feeling stronger and more confident. This is a wonderful place to be. I love it. Edit: I have been coming here for a few months now and climbing is all I think about. The staff at Arch North are so friendly and everyone is so supportive and non judgemental! If my body allowed, I would be climbing for 12 hours a day!
Such a good workout, the staff is so friendly and free climbing tips on Mondays and Fridays. We can also find a small gym there if you want to workout first. I love this place!
Loads of fun, minimal experience required. Wear comfortable clothes, can hire shoes and buy chaulk there. But pricey but is really run and good date idea with your partner as they have various difficulty levels for everyone. Definitely worth a try
Enjoyed this climbing centre. Having travelled around a phew I found this one to be a nice size and variety of challenges. Clean. Friendly staff. Coffee and easy access. Not too busy. Plenty of options. Parking is limited to restrictions. I would recommend.
