We’ve always stopped by the overlook on our visits to the area - but they’ve renovated the whole area since the last time which makes it so much better. There’s some information about the dam, and new paved areas, accessible ramp and railings. Offers beautiful views over the lake and Branson overall. Makes a great place for sunset. Only drawback in our Sunday afternoon was a comedy bus tour that offloaded a bunch of folks snd crowded the area and kept the loud engine running for 10 minutes. Also two pink jeep tours stopped in the 20 minutes we were there. Better to go on a weekday morning.
The view was nice of the Point Royale resort and the Table Rock dam. The actual look out was recently updated. Not much parking. You might be able to park at the restaurant across the street. But you do need to cross the road
We had stopped at the overlook when we were doing the redneck comedy bus tour! We highly recommend it. It was so much fun halfway through they stop at a moonshine taste testing store needless to say the second half was a lot funnier lol the overlook was beautiful. Definitely worth a stop and definitely do the tour.
Took a nice little detour and it was so worth it! The overlook gives you a stunning view of Brandon, and honestly, the drive up there is just as beautiful. Rolling hills, scenic roads, and a peaceful vibe all around. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Small little overlook that gives you a breathtaking view of Branson, Table Rock Dam and lakes whose names I cannot spell without looking it up! 😆. It’s off the main road. There’s plenty of parking and a cute cafe right across the road. I can only imagine the views at sunrise and sunset. I went midday and there were only a handful of people there. So many options for selfies and photos! Here are my two favorites!
Great informative overlook. Besides having great views it also talk to you the dams and the lakes and it was great trying to decide and pick out vantage points in Branson.. And surrounding areas
Today, 11/8/25, the fall colors were at their peak. It's a beautiful overlook of the Table Rock Dam, the city of Branson and surrounding communities.
It was only a short drive for us and it was beautiful! The traffic is a little close as you park on the side of the road, but the view is amazing!

This place has a great setup. You put into the water at their shop, we did the 2.5 hour option, when you are done they pick you up and take you back to the shop. This was my son's first time kayaking, we both really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!
To begin the trip we waded in water because the parking strip was under water. Watching the current I was so very nervous!!!!! Trisha not only made sure we were comfortable and ready she was very informative! With this being our first time on the fish hatchery route we wasn't sure what to expect. It was better then expected and would go again and again. Thanks for the memories!!!
We found this place online and thought we would give it a try. Incredibly glad we did! It was our 4th time kayaking so we opted for a guide - it was Patricia. She was so knowledgeable about the area, pointed out things we would have missed, yet kept it casual. We booked it on line. The place is easy to find and is a great value. Beautiful scenery as well as birds, otters, and fish! Patricia gave us a suggestion for BBQ, Danna's. There are 2 things we will do again if we ever make it back to Branson, White River Kayaking with Patricia and grabbing another bite at Danna's.
Great time-beautiful scenery. I wish they could post better signs along the way but they are not allowed to. They do give a map with landmarks- the five hour float is 9 MILES, and there is NO CURRENT, so be prepared. hahahah
My family LOVED the experience with White River Kayaking & Outdoors! We did the Turkey Creek float where we went up river however far we wanted to go and then just floated back down to the shop. It was awesome! The waterfall was dry when we went, but was still cool to see. We stopped and ate at the Monkey Island. The water was cold and beautiful! We will be back again and again! The staff was so kind and friendly. They have everything you need at their shop!
Lots of fun and relaxing. You’re given minimal instruction and told where you’ll be picked up, and sent out to enjoy whichever trip you choose. Boats running up and down the lake but the kayaks were very stable and tipping in a wake seemed to be very unlikely. We did the Tanglewood trip which I estimate is 2-3 miles. For the reasonable price, it is completely worth taking a trip.
While in Branson I wanted to do some kind of kayaking and after reading reviews I decided to go with White River and I had the BEST experience! I opted for the 2 hour float and the price was super reasonable. The guys I talked to on the phone and who worked at the location were so friendly and helpful. We were actually allowed to have the kayak pretty much until we were done which was nice. The float was pretty scenic, I saw a bunch of turtles, geese and ducks. There were several small “beachy” areas along the float you could pull up your kayak and rest. I didn’t get to make it all the way to where the waterfall area was but overall my experience was fun and relaxing.
For an additional activity around Table Rock Lake we decided to bring our own kayaks and float this stretch. We chose to put in at the fish hatchery and then downstream to White River Kayaking which took us about 4 hours with the last quarter of the trip quite slow current so a bit more paddling. White River Kayaking did a great job in getting us shuttled to the hatchery, explaining the trip and providing a map, and good, friendly service. I would recommend them to others looking to enjoy some kayaking.

Michael was a fantastic captain. The boat was very nice and clean. The gear was all in good condition and fairly new. Michael had a very high knowledge of the lake and where the fish were hanging out. We had a wonderful time on the water and even caught a few fish. I would highly recommend Michael for a fishing trip if you’re in the Branson area.
Mike was very friendly, informative and very knowledgeable of the area. We hooked up on fish as soon as we dropped our lines. Walleye, crappie and spotted bass were abundant. Mike cleaned our fish and we were on our way. 10/10 would recommend.
Had a great morning of fishing with Michael. He pick me up right at the dock at the resort where we were staying. I had an odd request to slow down and do some real bass fishing and he knew right what to do and where to go. Very accommodating and loved getting to catch some different species of bass that I’ve never come across. Highly recommend Branson fishing adventures with Michael.
My dad and brother have been fishing with Michael since 2018, and I finally got to tag along. We had a great time. Michael is personable and knowledgeable, making sure we got the most of our experience. Already looking forward to the next time. We highly recommend!
First time using a guide service. This was a birthday gift for my husband. The service was great and Captain Mike was fantastic! The guys came back all smiles and with quite a bit of fish. They are still talking about it. Highly recommend.
The best Branson has to offer! New boat which handles up to six people comfortably! Michael is an amazing guide, he always seems to know which spots to hit for fish. He works hard to ensure the best fishing Adventure for his clients. He adapts the adventure according to serious fishing or out for fun day of fishing, Young or older, he even will find the best swimming spots for the young ones if and cater to their fishing needs! Michael has a great personality and sense of humor, guaranteed to make your fishing Adventure an absolutely amazing memory!
We had a wonderful morning of fishing with Captain Michael on Table Rock Lake. We highly recommend him for anyone interested in fishing Table Rock.
Our guide gave to old Colorado boys a great time on the lake. For me this was first time for hiring a guide. It was such a grand experience that I will do this again and again!

As an avid golfer, Buffalo Ridge was probably my favorite course to play of the three 18 hole courses available at Big Cedar. It didnt have the views of Ozark and certainly not Payne's, but it did have some holes with beautiful views. The water features are Amazing and it has an old school western town type of feel. The water features are very much in play on many holes. The bison that you can see from various holes are a very neat addition to the atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, as to be expected based on the others we visited. The practice range is amazing as well. The course itself is immaculate. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes were all excellent and the landscaping is also immaculate. It amazed me that when we played all three courses we did not see one weed, piece of crab grass, burnt spot, or damaged area. Bunkers were on par with the other courses and filled with nice sand that you could actually play out of. THE GREENS were by far the fastest of the three 18 hole courses. If you didn't land the ball in the right place on the green you could pay a price. For the most part they did hold pretty well and the ball always rolled true on puts. It wasn't a situation where you would land on the front of the green and it would bounce and roll off. Accuracy was a premium playing here which dedicated golfers really appreciate. We loved it. If you're playing it for the first time I would highly recommend taking a caddy. It will help with target lines on some blind holes and definitely with the approaches. The staff were Amazing as were all courses and really seem to enjoy their jobs. What an epic experience and we cant wait to go back!
Beautiful course. The elevation changes and blind shots make for a challenging round. Definitely on my replay list.
Buffalo Ridge is the best track at big Cedar. Prove me wrong. After playing pains valley and Ozarks I was pleased to play Buffalo Ridge. It’s challenging but getable. If I had this trip to Do over I would’ve played here twice.
Buffalo Ridge was hands down the best course of our entire trip and deserves to be ranked at the very top. From the moment we stepped onto the property, the scenery blew us away—rolling Ozark hills, natural rock outcroppings, and the surreal experience of seeing buffalo roaming near the fairways made it unlike anything else we played. The layout was challenging yet fair, with each hole offering something unique and memorable, keeping all 16 of us locked in the whole round. On top of that, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our large group was comfortable and well taken care of, which made the day run perfectly. Out of all the amazing courses we visited, Buffalo Ridge was easily the highlight and should be recognized as the crown jewel of the trip. I cannot comprehend how someone can play this course and not fall in love with every hole.
Beautiful golf course!! I have played here twice now, every time the course is pristine and challenging. The pro shop has a great selection of the highest quality golf apparel, and the staff could not be more friendly. I look forward to playing here on every family get away in Branson!!
Great service, course was in great shape and loved the layout. Challenging but not to the point of frustrating. Golfers will know what that means.
Loved every hole and view of this course. What an amazing day mid November for golf and beautiful views and scenery. Amazing.
Probably the best 18 hole course in Mo. Real live buffalo surround the course.

Great place for Antiques! Its laid out really well!
I just came across one of the best flea markets I've ever been in in my LIFE! it was so clean and smells amazing! (If you flea market shop, you'll know what I mean). They closed early today for the weather, but i cant wait to come back! It's right off the Hollister exit! I feel like my deep down old soul is super satisfied!
I absolutely Olivia's Heartland! They have a great and accommodating staff. Plus, the inventory is constantly changing. If you see something you like and I know you will, you need to buy it right then. It's always an adventure to see what's new! You will not be disappointed by this shop.
Awesome deals! Lots of overstock and return items at an amazing price. I just bought a brand new phone case here for 5 bucks just like the one I paid 35 for at the Springfield mall a couple months ago!
So far I've only been here twice, but both times I've walked away with great deals on things i haven't been able to find anywhere else. The staff is always really helpful too. I'll up the star once i see how often the turnover is on new stock for the booths.
You're in the Branson area, you've seen more Antique shops and Flea Markets than you can shake an aging country music star at. I know you have. Have heart though, this isn't one of them. While it has a few stalls that trend toward your typical "$1 flea market booth" overall the product here is well presented, well chosen, and a step above most other places in the area. Things seemed a little pricey to me, but I was told on good authority (my wife) that they were actually pretty reasonable--I trust her judgement here, so she's probably more right than I am, I'm sure it is a good deal for what you get. Either way though, it's worth stopping by & seeing what they have.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They didn't have what I was looking for yet they told me where to go. Very nice of them since I was not going to buy it there
Great place to take the women to look. It is always changing, nice quality, many times good prices but you never know just keep checking them out.

Exceptional vintage pieces that beautifully enhance your decor and add a timeless charm to your space.
This place is a hidden treasure. So many vendors stalls are here. Everything is neat and prices are clearly marked. Staff is very friendly. This place is definitely worth a stop and look around. Highly recommend.
Very nice and well laid out booths. I found a few items I was looking for. I spent about 45 mins looking around. Friendly staff. Check out some pictures.
Highest priced flea market type store so far. Plenty of variety but only purchased one item here. For example a red bird wind chime $50, available at Lowe’s for $10, same exact one. Clean. Organized.
I've been to my share of vintage markets, antique stores, and thrift stores. I found this store to be neat, organized, and full of lots of neat stuff. I found some very reasonably priced items as well. Check it out. You won't be disappointed
This is a very cute old fashioned and with a lot of antiques I got some lye soap which you don't really see a lot. It works for a lot of things. It was a great find!
A ton of forgotten about treasures. Some new goodies as well. The staff was very nice and the whole place was clean and inviting. Will be shopping there again.
The people are awesome there and lots of good items to look at.

Great store. There was lots of cool stuff, and the prices were good. It's worth a stop if you are in the area.
This is overall a very nice hobby store and they have a nice selection of RC cars and kits. I'm into HO scale trains and their selection was smaller compared to other stores and their prices were considerably higher than other train stores. Also, the nicer trains were in a display case out of the boxes which makes me hesitant to buy anything there if the locomotives aren't in their original boxes. If I were to leave a separate star review for their model railroad selection, and how they had the locomotives on display out of their original boxes, I would leave 3/5 stars. If you need anything model railroad related, Midwest Model Railroad in Independence, MO has a huge selection and very reasonable prices. They also have lightning fast shipping. The store overall, I would give 4/5 stars. However, all of the staff was extremely friendly and very approachable.
Always feel unwelcome, and no matter how much money ive spent there, the owership has failed to recognize me or stop acting like I'm there to rob them! Ill save my money, shop online and not feel the scrutiny of un-helpful mistrusting people.
This place is a joke no wonder they are always empty. Payed a visit on Christmas eve, and was rudely interrupted while I was asking questions about batteries. Told meanly (we cant help you!) Very unprofessional. I would make the drive and hour tip to Springfield before I recommend.
This guy us super rude to customers. He doesn't know anything about RCs so, i don't even know why he is in business. You will pay 3 × as much as you can buy it online for and I will never go back
I went in today my birthday and they sold me an out of box rc traxis with the WRONG BATTERIES AND CHARGER WONT REFUND MY MONEY AND THE RC CAR IS SUPOSED TO BE 4X4 AS HE SAID IS WAS ITS NOT DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to try and cover your ass hobby shop it was not a private seller the man at the counter told me it was the owners y'all are a complete joke I mean that
I wish this shop was much closer to my home town, but the two hour drive is worth it. Well stocked with essentials for your model railroading needs, and plenty of extras. The staff is very knowledgeable, and take time to answer questions for folks new to the hobby.
Super cool store and the owner is super cool and definitely will be coming back to pick up more models and supplies
