Chocolate shop

The shop is located right next to the chocolate factory. You have excellent parking space and also have a museum. The shop always has offers, and I feel this is the best place to be if you are looking to purchase chocolates in bulk.
My kids 8 and 5 really enjoyed the Chocolate Workshop. It was not just a fun activity but and lifelong learning for them. My wife especially planned this while we were yet to travel from Saudi Arabia. It was worth the trip. P.S. Factory is located at a very nice location with forest and greenery all around.
😊 It was a fantastic experience for the kids to make their own chocolate with the ingredients they love! Everything was very well organized, and the chocolate tasted absolutely delicious! 🍫👏
I loved the shop and the little museum! Learned some interesting facts about the factory and the chocolate. Bought discounted packs of chocolate (500 g and 1 kg packs) and some special flavor ones!
Ritter Sport’s the go-to spot for chocolates if ur around Stuttgart. 100+ yr old brand with a small exhibit on their history and a factory next door. Ground floor has mix-n-match or pre-packed choc options—easy on the wallet too. Not crowded in the eve but closes by 6:30, so plan ahead. Restrooms available.
We had a fabulous time on the chocolate making workshop! It took about an hour and a half and was very interactive. It can be a bit hard to follow the presentation portion if you do not speak German but still a wonderful experience!
An exhibition upper stairs and a chocolate shop downstairs. To be honest I expect more from this shop, such as unique chocolate shape magnet or other souvenirs that you can only buy from here, but they only have chocolate (that you can buy with cheaper price in supermarkets) and one or two special edition chocolate. It might be a good place for children.
Not our first chocolate workshop experience in Europe but our favorite! The logistics, structure, tasting options, coloring our own wrappers were wonderful but the knowledge and kindness of the ladies that ran it took it over the top! What a great day for our parents and children (ages 4-18) to enjoy together 🍫

If you are a chocolate addict like me, this place is dangerous. I highly recommend checking out the second floor first to learn all about the history of Ritter Sport chocolate, it's very interesting. Then head downstairs to their massive shop where they have so much variety. I spent so much time (and money) at the shop. I bought a couple of gifts for family but lets be honest, most of the chocolate i bought was for myself to enjoy back home in the states. I totally missed out on the museum cafe, so I would need to return on my next trip to Stuttgart.
It’s a bit far from both airport or center stuttgart. But if u like chocolate and a big fan of Rittor then you must visit!!! With a chocolate shop, museum to visit and purchase chocolate for wonderful package price!!!
Really good exhibition of shapes and harmony of colors. The ticket is very unique, one cute sticker. The staffs there are very nice and patient explaining us the difference between this museum and the chocolate museum nearby. The gift shop has many cute stuffs, recommended!!!
The Ritter Sport Shop and Museum was such a fun visit! It was just a short trip from Leinfelden, where I was staying — about 20 minutes by bus to Waldenbuch and a 10-minute walk from the stop. The shop has amazing deals on chocolates, especially the 500g, 1kg, and 2kg packs — perfect for stocking up or gifts. The museum is small but interesting. My suitcase definitely got heavier after the visit!
Let’s start - very good espresso. Magnificent chocolate workshop, the kids enjoyed make their own chocolate bars. It was worth the drive from Titisee. Don’t forget to order the tickets online before arriving
Good place to buy cheap rittersport choclates and learn it's heritage. Tip - every Thursday museum is free. So enjoy
A beautiful building and then an amazing shop full of Ritter Sport chocolate! Upstairs are very informative displays explaining the entire process of making these iconic chocolate bars. I visited here during my stay in nearby Stuttgart and it was a straightforward journey to get here by bus from Boblingen bus station. Well worth a visit.
We visited on a Sunday, and were pleasantly surprised with how many aspects of the Museum were still open. They were preparing a new exhibition when we were there, so one side of the building was closed. Nevertheless, there was still a decent amount of history to read through. May activities for younger kids too that keep their interest. Free samples of chocolate and of raw cocoa beans. The chocolate store on the first floor has some good sales on discounted merchandise.

I was very, very impressed with the attention to detail throughout the museum! The visual impact of every room was highly effective. There is a wall in the lounge area for suggestions on the top floor. However, since the museum was closing soon, we had to leave without a comment I came up with on my way down the stairs. Why not add music from each period in each room to add to the experience? This is a terrific idea for a museum and the idea should be repeated in many other countries/cultures!
It's a good museum with a recycling theme. It is free and open to the public. Masks are mandatory due to Covid-19 measures.
Very well-curated museum dedicated to the humble and the ordinary things of the last century or two. Informative and self-aware, the museum is well worth your time while in Waldenbuch.
A must see..a lot of interesting way back here!History🇧🇻
Amazing, very interesting place, absolutely recommend!
I just was trying to understand how to gain entry for my disabled mom. Kruse was not friendly to English speaker, fortunately I tried Deutsch again and she then spoke English.
It is a bit far from Stuttgart center. But if your visiting Ritter sport museum and shop, u must include this museum in u r plan
Big Museum with lots of things to see. Kid friendly exhibitions and interactive too.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, I don't think it's a good thing that you can look into the indoor pool from outside. You can't swim or splash around with your children in peace at all because people from outside can look in. There is also a bench right in front of the windows that invites you to sit... Something urgently needs to be done here, especially for the privacy of children... (Original) Ich finde es leider gar nicht gut, das von draußen ins Hallenbad reingeschaut werden kann. (Translated by Google) Very nice sermon with three baptisms. Fantastic church service. A lovely town. I would definitely go back there again in summer or falls to have a Chance to try the wine there.
The Old Town Hall building at Rathausplatz in Esslingen is a charming building that was originally built 600 years ago. I really enjoyed seeing the well preserved building, including the medieval half-timbered exterior of the back side facing south. The front of Altes Rathaus facing the square was remodelled in Renaissance fashion by Heinrich Schickhardt (1586-89). The facade is very beautiful and adds much ambience to the square. The astronomical clock glockenspiel seemed to have been added around 1592. It places 4 or 5 times daily if you happen to be around and want to listen.
Beautiful place to go for the day. Stunnjng
Nice place, definitely worth visiting while in Stuttgart! It's a short ride, there is a good connection by train!
Definitely book tickets in advance or you will wait up to or more than an hour. Staff were friendly and cooperative
This pace was nice for setting cool architecture.
Beautiful place and city to Visit
The visit to Esslingen was a memorable one and I had the pleasure of visiting the surrounding areas of the Rathaus and also, attended a wedding in the historic building which was exceptional and I love the design of the entire building. It's got character and history as well as having an amazing view of the Esslingen burg. Would definitely recommend visiting the amazing location 😀😀👍
