We had an amazing time- the story line was presented in a clear manner, and the acting right from the start set the stage for the escape room. Sina did great- all in English and provided just the right amount of assistance. We've done multiple escape rooms all over Europe and can say this one was very well done. The effects, the space, the props, videos- all contributed to a very realistic experience. The amount of detail was phenomenal. Some may say it's pricier than most, but the quality is second to none. Story and room design are amazing, and the live actors do a great job - not just scaring people as in some horror rooms, but really interacting with the players and adding a whole new dimension to the games. Even tho the Zoo isn't as big or extravagant as the big one in Cologne or other big cities and especially in the wintery and wet weather right now, there was a lot of mud and not too much greenery, but it has an incredible view and I have never been so close to most of these animals, I could see them from 1-2 metres away which was amazing. The kangaroo enclosure is especially great and suuuper big and we could see baby kangaroos eating out of the pouch! I also like that they sell food for the goats in the petting zoo at the entrance, a great way to get some pets without bothering the animals since they come and stay voluntary. But what was a bit off putting at least for me was the size of some of the enclosures. The tiger for example was pacing around from one end to the other nonstop and seemed quite irritated. The lion enclosure had the same issue. So seeing the animals so up close had kind of a bitter after taste, since they probably only were so close because they had nowhere else to go. I didn't see a lot of stuff in their enclosures to entertain them... But I don't want to judge to much, since it also could have been a exception. I talked with one of the employees about the owls and he was very informed and worried about their wellbeing and could tell me a lot about many of the birds and their personalities, which was really cool. So if you look for entertainment for your kids (or yourself, I'm 22 as well and still like to watch animals) I can recommend going there.
