Montalivet market is a wonderful street market to find all kinds of regional food as well as seafood. Among the beauties of the place oyster are one of the highlights. A mixed experience. First off, we called about reservations and opening times as recommended on the website and got a very weird reply how he was not going there until 11am (which was also not the answer to our question on reservations). So we thought the opening time was 11am, but when we got there it had obviously been open for some time already. Very odd but in the end no problem getting in without a reservation. More annoying is that if your child is under 1.40m there are only 2 very straightforward tree top courses they can do. This is not very clearly mentioned on the website. My son was missing a couple of cm and was disappointed not to be able to do any joint courses with his older brother. My husband and son were also a bit disappointed with the main course, it was a bit samey and not as challenging as others we've done. Considering that, it felt a bit over priced. More unpleasantly, the toilets were not clean and there was no toilet paper. And the member of staff I talked to did not seem very interested in the problem. As mentioned by others, credit cards are not accepted for amounts under €20, which is annoying. Apart from the chap on the phone the rest of the staff on site were all quite pleasant, especially the team getting harnesses ready for the tree top course. It's an ok if rather expensive half-day out.

What a great place! We came here to see if the mini golf were open. The park was only open for school this day, but the really cool man working there said we could play mini golf anyway. We were a group of four adults and two children and we all had a great experience. The park looks really clean and nice. We would definitely come back to try the other activities if we weren’t leaving the next day.

Took 1 week together with my sons (beginner 8yrs, 11yrs) as translator for my kids (german) and for me as refresher. A bit theory and a lot of practice. Looked and adapted on individual niveaus. I took an additional privat lesson. One of the best i ever had. I learned a lot! We are looking forward to next year to surf with them again.

The surf course this year was really fun and we had a great time. Thank you Manho for giving us tips and being a great instructor! We will definitely come back next year :)

I spent around 7 weeks in Montalivet and it was a great experience to learn surfing at Carakas surf school! All the surf instructors are certified professionals and eager to answer all the questions. The location is great as well (1 minute from the beach). They have a large variety of different surfboards and wetsuits. Thank you Team Carakas!

Very friendly team: Yann and everybody is doing anything to give beginners and experienced surfers a good time. There are group lessons as well as single coaching, in addition the possibility to rent gear - everything with very reasonably pricing. The Maya Surf School is directly at the great beach of Camping Atlantic Club Montalivet, a little bar (also very nice) is nearby.
