Amazing place! We visited for breakfast and the day started way better than expected. Imagine eating freshly baked simple and traditional breakfast under the trees shadow with the water running sound... That's possible there. Highly recommend it!
The beautiful original watermill is amazingly preserved and maintained by its owners. They also have a charming souvenir shop that sells natural olive oil products, soaps, herbs, and many other goodies. However, our pockets were ripped! And the food was from mediocre to bad!! We paid €22.50 for just 2 cappuccinos (€4/each! for single shot) and 2 spinach pies (€6.50!!/each!!!) which were baked for sure the day before and were very badly reheated possibly in a microwave, the pie crust was soggy, and the filling was mushy, semi cold and with a bad quality cheese in it. Plus, I believe it had not reached the appropriate reheating temperature to be safe for consuming ( I am a chef, and I well know the health and safety rules for professional kitchens). And I must mention, the €4.00/cappuccino coffee was so tasteless and cheap that it reminded me of a hospital machine coffee sellers. To be clear: my complaint is NOT about the prices but for the BAD QUALITY! If quality was right and aligned with the price, I would have given 6 out of 5 stars ✨ Utterly disappointing because I loved the space and garden, but I refuse to become so very played!!
Unfortunately one more example of a place that cannot handle high season efficiently. At 18/8 at 12.00 and no pies were left. 30’ after we ordered and we still did not even receive our coffees. We told them that we will leave because of the delay and lack of products and they never apologied. They said “you are coming now that we have a lot of guests - what are you expecting?”. Also they accused me for delaying to order because I was playing with my child. What a shame because the garden and mill are beautiful.
Everything was fine but tbh the prices should be a bit lower.. Everything was fresh and well made but that does not mean that you can ask whatever you want for them..4 stars just for that.. A must-go place for nearby visitors.
A place made with the utmost care and love. It is actually a renovated old watermill which is in working condition. The family running this business cooks using the homemade flour which is made in this watermill. Needless to say that the homemade pies offered are the best I have ever tried. Don’t miss the “ladenia” pie and the homemade lemonade if you ever visit this place. The family can also demonstrate to you the process of making flour using the watermill. Highly recommended!
A very interesting reconstruction and a friendly tour of the old traditional watermill, in a very well taking care garden with trees and local plants and herbs. In addition you find a local produce store, a beautiful and hospitable indoor and outdoor place offering, coffee, home made desserts and local drinks.
A must visit place if you are in the area, 5 min. from the castle of Kyprrissia. Besides the historic interest, it is very picturesque, the service is very friendly, there is a great variety of coffee drinks, fresh orange and lemon juices, sweets etc and there is a small shop with local goodies,
Fully restored working old watermill. Nicely explained how the mill works. Downstairs a shop with local produce, upstairs coffee and cakes, inside or in the lovely garden. We enjoyed the lemon pies. A recommended place to visit!

I visited it during the Greek Great Holiday, August 15-17. Everyone is cheerful 🙂. Wonderful ambiance, nice promenade.
The old town of Kyparissia was built surrounding the castle and it's clear some of the buildings used part of the castles masonry. It holds a commanding position overlooking the town/city of Kyparissia and is only a few meters away from a few tavernas. It's quite a steep walk up to the castle from the lower town, but it's only around 5 euros to get upto the castle.
Interesting but quite small. The old town square is ok to drink a coffee in an authentic Greek atmosphere. We walked up from the town ( we were staying there ) and it took about an hour. Walk back via the old watermill. It’s beautifully restored and has an amazing garden with views of the mountains and town. A d they have nice food for lunch.
The view is beautiful, but the castle itself is closed: you can't walk it. I'd say it's barely worth the drive or the climb.
Nice view, very good preserved (about 800 years old), free entry ,but it needs a couple of minutes to get here from Kyparissia and has very big stairs.
The location is beautifull, only down part can be accessed, so full view is not availlable. The part of the castle that counts is nog available. In the town itself there is a lot integrated from the old castle into the new town, so a lot to look for. Parking lot is in front. It's small wich is not a problem if it can be fully viewed. The town around is nice. But not when you come for the castle. EU spend money on this, not clear what it did, unfortunetaly.
Perfect place from castle for panoramic view of Kiparissia!!!
Perfect place to enjoy the sunset and take panoramic photos of the city. The paths are slippery in some areas, and steep, better wear adequate shoes if you want to explore a little bit.

This has to be one of my favorite all time beaches in the area. We have a family home in the mountains - a 20min drive from here - and always visit.
The beach is Rocky for the most part but it's great for relaxation since usually is far from overcrowded plus there are a lot of options for drinks and food alongside the beach. Other than that, there are restaurants there so you could use this place as a break to eat something while viewing the sea! Also sea turtle nests are here and normally, there is a small information kiosk by the entrance where you could ask for more details!
Random refreshment stop on a beach - what a view! Also ate at a nearby resto/bar called Kaktus, great espresso fredo and falafel. Nice stop on your way along the west coast.
The beach is beautiful, not crowdy. It's very long and has a few tavernas and cafeterias with free sun beds. All in all is a very cosy beach for long strolls or playing with your dog and kids without disturbing anyone... love it!!
Nice "wild" beach, good restaurants, beautiful view.
Great views and clean beach, service is good and wifi is free
Pretty nice sandy beach with beach bars with sunbeds and umbrellas and traditional seaside taverns. The waters are clear and crystal and the sand has colors of desert. It is popular enough during the summer days and it is pretty nice also for families with kids.
It used to be a decent option to consider until a few years ago, in case you wanted to spend a few days in the vicinity. Unfortunately, the administration has changed ever since, and the front desk lady is there to make sure, that you will have trouble, trying to deal with her. Not only she neglected to check the reservation list, even though we called her (while en route to the hotel) to check back that everything is ok with our room (reserved 3 weeks ago) and she reassured us that everything was fine and that our seaview room was all set and waiting for us. An hour later and once in the hotel's lobby, the same lady was trying to persuade us that the hotel guest, staying in the room before us, would extend his stay at the hotel due to medical issues(!!) in the same room that was reserved for us, from that date on. At the same time, she tried to show us other available ( gardenview) rooms and only when we told her that we had decided to leave and that the hotel would lose a 10 nights halfboard stay for 3 guests, due to her mistake , she checked us in a fine seaview room (which she found the last sec before our departure) which was up to our expectations. Other than that, breakfast and dinner are good enough for the price range, but the swimming pool is open to the public and not only for the hotel guests, so its almost always crowded and noisy and pool sunbeds are always occupied by towels left on them since... forever

Nice stop midway between Kalamata and Olympia. The tomb is impressive and the location is beautiful.
Wonderful situated between olive trees and hills the tombs are really impressive! Absolutely with a visit!
Interesting tomb, but the hike to the stalagtites was unbelievable!!
(Translated by Google) It has three tombs. A whole one. One with a third left. And one that has a fifth left. The surrounding area is neat without a lot of weeds or knee-high grass. To go there are two signs. One on the main road and a fallen, faded "cretan" (full of gun shrapnel) in the middle of the road, when you're starting to fear you're lost. Without GPS, it's very difficult to go! Fortunately we found an archaeologist and a historian who "had some work" there and we said 2 things. Otherwise there is no marking (only at the entrance a text with a plan), no signs on each ancient part, no "of course" guide. To some Germans who had come and didn't know English, we explained what we and the other visitors were seeing... For once only, it is worth seeing katibo was anointed 4,500 years ago and still (wars, earthquakes...) has not been damaged (Original)
(Translated by Google) Unacceptable to pay 5 euros a ticket and enter a field, unkempt place with vegetables covering everything and ropes indicating points which you do not understand what they are even by imagination. Too bad. The dome is not very nice.

(Translated by Google) An archaeological site where three vaulted tombs dating back to the Mycenaean era have been found. One is even saved whole. The other two, unfortunately, the dome does not exist. Definitely worth a visit, €3 a ticket. The vaulted tomb that is preserved in its entirety is impressive. Like the acoustics inside him. I put 4 stars because unfortunately the place does not have the corresponding care from the operators. The gentlemen working at the entrance very polite and helpful.
(Translated by Google) Entering the internet we saw that the archaeological site of Peristeria is temporarily closed. Luckily we called to be told it was open. I can't understand why there is this misinformation and even at a time when many people would like to visit him. Well I think it should be fixed immediately.

Great place with nice rooms. The upstairs wine bar will be great once summer hits. Very caring staff. No hesitation in staying here again.
We absolutely loved our time here. The rooftop restaurant is a highlight — delicious and varied breakfasts every morning with a breathtaking view over Kyparissia, the mountains, and the castle. The scent of lavender in the air makes the experience even more magical. During our stay, there were lovely live concerts on the rooftop terrace twice a week, adding to the relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The hotel has a unique artistic vibe, with beautiful and original paintings decorating the interiors. The atmosphere is peaceful and inspiring. The pool area is spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing day or night. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming and relaxing stay in the Peloponnese!
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the hotel. Greek hospitality at its finest. The location was perfect - so peaceful; far from the traffic and crowds with only the sound of the waves and the sea close by. I can’t praise the staff and services enough - so friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat, the best beaches in the area and the local sites and places of interest. Live music and delicious food at the rooftop restaurant/bar was a highlight of our stay. If you’re looking for family friendly atmosphere, look no further.
Apollo resort is in a beautiful spot, with excellent amenities, lovely attentive staff and a beautiful backdrop from the rooftop where we had breakfast every morning. We would not hesitate going back again and highly recommend it to anyone. Being amongst the olive groves is an added bonus.
Lovely time and such great hospitality. We arrived early and our room was ready already. Breakfast is very well catered, we also had dinner at the rooftop; amazing view and fusion cuisine w Greek touch; the risotto was the best ever. Wine pairing was well thought off. The owner is very accommodating and providing recommendations on the area. The entire hotel is spotless clean. Daily cleaning of the room and fresh toiletries and towels if needed. Spacious common areas such as the lobby, pool w soft beds, rooftop and lots of free parking available. We can’t wait to come back!
Spent 3 days at the hotel. The hotel is nicely decorated, at a close proximity to Kyparissia and to the nearby beaches, and with a very nice view to the town. The staff was friendly and ready to assist to any inquiries. Would definitely stay again. Would definitely recommend.
Great sunset view from the room and the terrace. The food was lovely. The staff is very welcoming and caring. There are also beach bars around the hotel 5-10 minutes away.
Amazing cosy family ran hotel with beautiful roof terrace overlooking the sea and mountains on the other side, very friendly staff, big and clean pool - highly recommend, will be def back!

They are probably the nicest store in Kyparissia. Tasos gave me a very interesting tour of their products. Their inventory covers a wide range. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality. I don't think you can leave their store without finding a great gift for a friend or yourself.
Got some pomegranate syrup for juice! Yum
I love this cute little store. It has the best unique souvenirs and gifts. Me and my sister were there almost every day. Loved it.
Friendly staff and lots to try, best best olive oil I've tasted. We will definitely visit again before we leave Kyparissia.
A lot of greek products like food, drinks, wearable or small kitchen equipment . Drink the Old Sport Kalamata gin or some local tsipouro and taste the sweet honey Pastelis of the region of Kalamata.
Very great shop with extraordinary tasty olive oil!
Due to quality of merchandise, customer service and operating hours, this establishment has saved my skin more than once, by supplying the perfect last minute gift. I'm a fan.
Possibly the best shop in Kyparissia for browsing, buying little gifts and Flip flops!
