Brilliant and unusual fun. Around 50 windows cut straight into the rock face which were used for centuries as stores or tombs, but more recently have joined together as a kind of 3D labyrinth. You have to haul yourself through holes in the walls, floor and ceiling to explore and find your way out. The steps are narrow metal grates leading to the first window so you need a head for heights, and the journey through the caves is quite narrow and physical so you need a reasonable level of strength and fitness. You have to leave bags and coats at the start; you'll need both hands and practical clothes and shoes. You will get a bit dusty. We saw a couple of small (7-8 years) children - they needed a leg up through the ceiling holes but were fine otherwise.
What a great experience, above all expectations! Interesting history and well organised. Recommend warmly! Special thanks to our guide Juan, you really made our visit perfect!
The caves of the Arabs have a unique architecture and beautiful views to the nearby river.
No signs,no roads. We spent more than half an hour inside and around the village and couldn't find a trace. Google location is wrong. Takes you to a dead-end road, and the Tripomatic location takes you in an area of summer houses. We gave up. One of the most visitor's unfriendly places.
A very different and exhilarating historical tourist attraction! The interior of the caves is a bit of an assault course.
Quite a few tight spaces and uppy body strength is required to navigate through the caves. Unique and interesting place with nice surroundings.
Gorgeous views plus a bit of excercise. Paco rules, explained a bit of historia, amazing!!
An ideal place for people passionate about exploring and looking for a unique experience

Small, personal and professional hot air balloon company. I made two flight with them, one near Bocairent and the other near Lliria.
(Translated by Google) Incredible experience. Not only do you ride the balloon but you collaborate with the team in the preparations. Includes a very good typical lunch. We had a great time and our pilot Raül was great with us (Original) Experiencia increíble.
(Translated by Google) Today I had a balloon flight experience with them and I have to say that they made me one of the happiest days of my life. I decided to propose to my partner on a balloon ride, I started searching and contacted them. From the first moment the girl who answered the phone was incredibly kind. I told her the idea I had of asking her to marry him in the balloon and carry out a banner with "do you want to marry me" and without any problem they helped me realize the idea I had in mind. I spoke with a colleague from the company named Sergi and I brought him the banner 2/3 days before and on the same day of the flight they had everything prepared and the truth is everything went well. Without a doubt, apart from the fact that the experience is incredible, if you have in mind doing something special for someone...don't hesitate. Thank you for everything and I will be eternally grateful. On behalf of Pepe and Raquel, thank you very much for everything and you are HUGE people.
(Translated by Google) Really, it is worth living the experience. The flight and the staff, magnificent. If anything, I would add a small ladder for people with some difficulty climbing the balloon. It seemed very short for me. Very smooth ascent and descent and incredible peace. To repeat!!!
(Translated by Google) Unique experience, the balloon ride has been very calm, you practically don't notice that it is moving. Both the pilot, Raúl, and his team, make everything simple and easy, make you feel comfortable at all times and provide you with many interesting facts about the area. The complete plan is a 10, I will definitely recommend it. I visited this place in December 2020 during Covid pandemic. The staff was very organized and they were offering a limited capacity with maximum 6 people. The guide took all mesures to make the visit confortable for everyone. This is a piece of history, old frige where they were keeping ice for the summer. Entrace fee of 2 euros as I only visited this frige. If you have time I will advise you to also visite the caves.
Lack of information that there is siesta and only with groups.
It was a nice walk up with a beautiful view.
Very interesting historic place.

Lovely place to hike even at night, in the dark :)
Natural surroundings, beautiful place and conservancy park. Hiking routes
This is a beautiful mountainous area, great for photography and peaceful walks.
Had a lovely drive through this area of natural beauty. Quite small but very enjoyable. Has towns on the perifery with a selection of facilities including bars and restaurants. Accomodation in B&B accomodation as well as casa rurals. Nice walking area too.
Beautiful scenery and simple but well maintained facilities
truly spectacular part of Spain .. hills and mountains.. stunning green scenery
Excellent place during the summer to swim in the natural pools, by the waterfalls, and cool down. Might be a bit crowded but not excessively. As far as natural sights go, it's among the best I visited.
Amazing experience, we parked up at the old convent, parking is limited to only a few spaces there, but we were luck as we were the only ones there, we started our trek from there ,which was all up hill for quite a while ,but the scenery took my mind off the climb ,we used wikiloc App for navigation ,once you get to the highest peak at 1.390 m the views are amazing. Throughout the trek there was many locations with great scenery ,as well as the old ruins where they used to make the ice, would highly recommend this trek ,but be warned, you will need alot of stamina ,altogether we did 16km following the wikiloc app route ,only towards the last hour we went off the makes route which is placed through out the route in a colour code ,usually three colours painted into the rock or a tree to show you on the right path, If you see a X that's not the right way, but if you use the wikiloc app you can't get lost .

An excellent little museum. Permanent exhibits about human life in this part of the Iberian Peninsula from prehistory through the Spanish Reconquista, and a temporary exhibit describing the history of the city of Alcoi.
Well worth a visit if you have an hour to kill in Alcoy. Currently only one euro admission for adults. Yes, its a small building but the displays are well designed and easy to follow. Note that there are no signs in English, just one leaflet at reception
The most helpful staff at any museum I've ever been to. A visit to the cave paintings in La Sarga is highly recommended after seeing this museum.
Very interesting and if you like archeology even more. Alfonso was nice to explain a couple of things which makes the visit even better. Very low cost entrance fee, worth a visit
Really interesting museum - had already visited a lot of the sites, so lovely to see the artifacts found. Nothing in English, but still loved it.
Interesting artifacts, struggled with no English info. My fault.
Interesting artifacts The docent was friendly and helpful

(Translated by Google) This monastery, as with most of the houses in Bocairent, is dug into the rock and has a set of caves that are very interesting to visit. They give a very good idea of what life was like during times past and even where people took refuge during the Civil War. The building above the caves, in neoclassical style, was donated by an individual to the Augustinian nuns but there came a time when the congregation, depleted of nuns, wanted to sell it. Thanks to citizen mobilization and the money they managed to raise, it was able to be purchased in 2007 and belongs to the parish of Bocairent. Recently they have given space to some Carmelite nuns who support themselves through their meticulous embroidery. What they no longer make is the cupcakes that made the Agustinas famous. I recommend the visit.
(Translated by Google) It is a very curious monastery, since the one we see at street level is built on another older monastery excavated in the same rock. The old underground monastery was built in the mid-16th century to shelter a group of Augustinian nuns from another convent in Valencia. It was excavated in the rock itself with several connected rooms that served as a chapel, cells, dining room and kitchen, and even a cave that served as a small cemetery. In the year 1700, the sealing of the underground rooms was carried out and the construction of another monastery superimposed on top began. In 1902, a third monastery was built, which is the one we can currently see at street level. You have to imagine what living conditions those nuns of the 16th and 17th centuries lived in in a monastery that must have had very high humidity and very little natural light. The monastery was definitively abandoned at the end of the last century, since the last two nuns who still resided here were transferred to the Augustinian monastery of Santa Ana, in the town of Sant Mateu in Castellón. Currently, the monastery is owned by the parish of Bocairent, which purchased it from the Augustinian order for just over one million euros. The entrance to see the rock monastery and its premises costs 3 euros/pax and can only be visited on weekends and holidays in the mornings. It is a guided tour of about 30 minutes in which the guide, a volunteer who loves this monastery, tells in detail the history of the cave monastery and the subsequent buildings. The money generated by these visits is used to repair and rehabilitate this old convent. A highly recommended visit to a unique monastery in Spain.
