From there, and from the nearby viewing platforms, you get the most stunning panoramas of this natural monument. Apparently, the views at sunset in summer are breathtaking, though we couldn’t stay that long. Still, this is a place of tranquillity where time seems to slow down and you appreciate every moment. I’ll definitely plan my route through the little town of Sisteron again just to see this beauty once again.

What an amazing place for family! The lake and splashing pool is great. Also the park is great for a pic nic. There is a life guard and it is free! I wish there were more places like this one!

It's nice to find a spot where you can sit and relax, all the while having dozens of restaurants within walking distance along with a nice view. Although the water is cold, it is perfect for those warm summer days. Just make sure to bring something to sit on. Although some seating spots are carved out of the wall adjecent to the park, you'll be sitting on cobblestone which can get a little uncomfortable for longer periods.

A bit crowded and from the citadel the water looked a bit dodgy but up close it was fine if a bit crowded...but it was 42 degrees so expected, with a great view of the Citadel. You can bring a picnic and there are toilets, it is free. Good place to cool down.
