Superb water park. Reasonably priced, we’d heard buying direct is the best priced option so we purchased our tickets on entry. The free bus makes it easily accessible. The timetable is on their website and return times are displayed at the entrance each day, with a 15minute reminder over the speaker. Good variety of slides with mixed thrill levels that are clearly marked. The wave pool was a huge hit and the different wave styles really mixed it up. Most slides require a minimum height of 120 or accompanied by an adult. A couple of food options but seating could be limited with table service only. So waiting for a seat could be an issue. The food we ate was good quality and fairly priced. All the staff were friendly. I will add that if you want a locker then take cash, as card payments for this is impossible.
It was nice, clean. We visited the park in mid-July and it wasn't too crowded except for the lazy river. (They don't follow safety rules there and none of the lifeguards say anything). It's great that they have organized bus transportation. Otherwise, it's nicely arranged, but nothing special.
Visited Lido Water Park on our visit to Kos and it was a great excursion to split up the holiday. We booked through Offshore Travel who picked us up and dropped us back off at our hotel. Plenty of slides and swimming opportunities for everyone. The food areas were also ideal and reasonably priced! Many staff were situated around the park and were all helpful. A fun day all round.
Brilliant day out for families of all ages and only 22€ per adult. We had such a great here, the wave machine was the best ever - really big waves and great fun and we could have stayed on the lazy river all day long. We enjoyed it so much that we went there twice on our vacation. The lido was very clean with great facilites and no queues. There were plenty of sun beds and they had a great separate, safe, childrens area. There is a free bus service from kos town, tigaki, marmaris, etc which allows you around 4 hours there which is a decent amount of time. They also have a small zoo at the side of the lido so if you go, please take an apple or banana for the sad looking donkeys who will really appreciate it. Lovely day out and highly recommend if you like having fun!
Great water park. Clean and tidy, free to use sun beds. €7 for locker and get €2 back on key return. Slides fun, black hole was very hot and dark inside, the ratings aren't accurate so don't be fearful. Great wave pool and lazy river was also fun.
The place was excellent! Great for children & adults 👏 good food, not many things to do .. but still plenty of fun! the slides were great also the lazy river was really fun the interactive water park was amazing for young kids even babies 👶 overall great place to visit.
Good value water park, mostly empty when I went in September 2025. You'll get all the rides done in one hour and have enough time to get food and drinks. Nice, friendly staff atmosphere.
We cycled here from Marmari on a Friday. On arrival the massive car park only had a few cars, and there was no queuing at all. Staff were very friendly. Entry was €22 plus €5 for (€7 deposit with €2 back). One locker is plenty big enough for two or more. There park was extremely quiet, so we had our choice of loungers and no queuing at all on the rides. We had a fun afternoon followed by a peaceful rest on loungers. It’s true that the black hole is a bit disorientating as there are no lights or music inside, like at some other parks. The wave pool runs periodically with good steep waves. The lazy river is a decent length. There is a laned pool if you want to swim lengths. More people arrived when the shuttle buses came in, but it was never crowded.

Our favourite beach on the island of Kos. Can be pretty windy with big waves. Not too many people on the beach so we felt really relaxed and had some privacy. The sand is magical, some grains are transparent so they sparkle in the sun.
very nice extra soft sand beach
This is one of the best places in Kos to watch the sun go down! It is a stunning sandy beach with amazing views in the evening. The beach is very beautiful and very relaxing. There are deckchairs and shades available.
Fantastic beach , just wind surfers, paddle boards. There are cafes/tavernas/restaurants adjacent to the beach
Great sandy beach with nice restaurants and sunbeds. Fantastic for cocktails and dinner at sunset.
We were suprised how quiet and not crowded the beach was during busy summer season. Lovely beach to enjoy the weather, swim or watch sunset. Only downside is that there is A LOT of seaweed near and in the water. It gets better once you start going a few meters in the water.
We've stayed in the area for about a week. Usually windy and with some waves, so you have to be lucky if you want a calm sea. If you enjoy waves (like we do), unholy amounts of seaweed will spoil your experience. We felt like cucumbers swimming in a salad bowl. In some areas of the beach, there are large stones on the seabed. On the plus side, the water here is warmer compared to the south, and there are large flat areas, so you can comfortably stand even deeper into the sea. If the slightly colder water is okay for you, visit the beaches on the south side of the island instead.
A nice beach with blue water... Good Greek coffee behind ! Enjoy

What a great time we had there. The lady at the desk is attentative and very nice. The garden is not large so it's a nice stop for short relax and watching around. Delicious lemonade is available there :) Ticket prices are a little bit too high for what you get. Toilets are spacious and clean.
So... It is cool to see, how it could have looked like in the past, but the house is definitely not from 5 century. Definitely no glass vials like this and definitely not having Zenith and Canon cameras with paper books. This small detail made it a bit worse. Anyway, gift shop was impressive with a lot of local products and very nice smelling. Lady was so kind at the reception/store. Also, I really liked the garden, however road to this place is horrible.
We visited the Garden on a Sunday Morning. The lady in the office/gift shop was very friendly and explained the layout of the gardens. There is a 6 euro entry fee, 3 euros for children. The plants have plaques at the foot of them explaining what ailments they were used to treat. There is a house on the property which is a historical representation of an old Greek house and close to the gift shop there is a room which represents a hospital/treatment area. It was a very relaxing experience walking around the gardens
What a fantastic little place! Visited the Hippocrates Garden after seeing a leaflet from our car hire provider. Decided last minute to call in and I am so pleased we did. The gardens cost 6 euros for adults and 3 euros for children. The lady at the entrance explained about the gardens and let us walk around and explore freely. The plants have their names on and there is a lot of information on site regarding Hippocrates. If your in the area please make sure you visit!
Special thanks to Zoe, who gave us a beautiful tour preparation of this magnificent gem of a property. What a blessing that the owner is a woman who understands the value and preciousness of the history. We are so grateful to have walked on this holy ground
Great little find for an hour out, interesting to see/read all of the cool little things. The lady looking after the place was super lovely. 6 euros to enter
Pretty boring even if you are interested in greek history. I mean you can see the replica of a house from ancient time but thats all. Tickets are 6€ per person which is to much. This is my opinion.
Magical place, defenetly worth a visit. Big thanks to amazing Zoe, you really made my day better 😃

I attended just one class with Lynn, but it was an unforgettable experience. Lin is an amazing teacher with a patient and sensitive approach, creating a meditative and calming atmosphere. Even though it was my first class with her, I felt that I was not only improving my practice but also connecting with myself on a deeper level. It was one of the best yoga experiences I’ve ever had, and I will definitely come back to this island specifically to attend more of her classes. Highly recommended!
My girlfriend and I had a private SUP Yoga session with Lynn and we enjoyed it a lot. My girlfriend has done some yoga before, but it was my first yoga lesson and my first time being on a SUP. Lynn adjusted the session to match our different levels. My girlfriend says it was one of her best yoga classes ever! SUP yoga really makes you aware of your body and present in the moment. We could definitely feel our muscles working, but by the end of the class we both felt relaxed, and full of enthusiasm and energy for the day ahead 😊 Thank you so much Lynn, Lynn's partner (and also the dog) for this fun and relaxing experience! Would recommend to all!
Fantastic experience! I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years, so I’ve had the chance to work with many instructors. Lynn is truly one of the best I’ve ever met. This was my first time trying SUP yoga, and it was absolutely amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you, Lynn!
My daughter and I took part in Lynn's SUP yoga today. It was a great session! Lynn keeps it fun and relaxing. Bonus ..we didn't fall of!! Definitely recommend trying if you're in kefalos!
Really enjoyed Lynn’s YinYoga during our holiday here. We went to a class on Monday and liked it so much we came back the next lesson this week. It’s such an amazing addition to your holiday, to experience this class, with lots of practical lessons that you can take with you in every day life. Would recommend everyone to try out a lesson! Thanks Lynn!
The yoga class is highly recommended and a wonderful journey to a more conscious, grateful, and relaxed life. I am grateful for this wonderful yoga practice during my vacation 🙏
Very great lesson with a lot of fun👍🏻 I will be happy to join in again! Thank you Lynn! 😎
What a fantastic experience! Whilst I was a bit apprehensive to start with, both Lynn and Yann put me at ease from the start and throughout. Couldn't have asked for better support through the class. Highly recommend for everyone and will definitely book in again when I'm in Kos. Thank you both xx

Great place for any fan of kitesurfing. Fantastic & professional instructors who adjust the lessons to individual level to various needs. Wide variety of equipment offered. Facility as such is also family friendly, for sure will come back once in Kos again 👍
Horizon Surfing Center is a great kite school run by Peppe – super friendly service, good equipment, and a nice spot that’s not overcrowded. Perfect place to learn or enjoy kiting in a relaxed atmosphere!
We stayed in the hotel next to the surfing center and it was so comfortable. Communication about the lessons was easy and fast. We took 4h group kite lesson and 2h private kite lesson and it was perfect. It was my first time really riding the kite. With the super nice instructors louis and romain I was able to get from nothing to riding the kite controlled and good just within this short amount of time. I would always recommend going surfin‘ there!
I had a great kite week with my two instructors Romain and Louis. Espacially the permanent communication with microfon and headset was perfect for me so I did the largest progress I have ever made since I kite. This kite school is an ideal place for beginners and advanced.
We were on vacation for 6 days and already planned to do some on-water activities in advance. The Horizon Surfing Center being located right next door to our hotel was key in choosing the resort. This turned out to be a great decision as we had a lot of fun here with super friendly instructors, great equipment and informative lessons. We were absolutely new to kitesurfing, having only sailed before. The two of us decided to take group (2 people) kitesurfing lessons with Louis, which were great! He adapted his lessons to our progress perfectly and got us out on the water and nearly standing up on the board in 5 hours. Unfortunately the waves were too large (>30kn wind, 1.3m waves) on our second day and the wind was too light (<8kn) on the last days, so we couldn't finish the course. We're already planning to continue our lessons during the next vacation. We also made use of some of the other available material: Having looked at the forecast my partner rented the catamaran straight away on the arrival day and borrowed a kite harness to use the trapeze. On the days without wind we borrowed two kayaks to relax on the sea.
My daughter and I had a great time at the HSC on Kos. A very likeable team with heart. Louis taught us with passion and a lot of motivation! He put a lot of effort into it! He has made the best out of every weather for us. He reacted promptly to the changing wind conditions! Got new kites tec. Motivated, passionate, likeable, top!
Louis was an excellent instructor, who did a great job of determining my level of ability and letting me do as much of the prep as I could, giving me direction only when needed. He was patient with my mistakes, enthusiastic about my successes, and always encouraging. I was very happy with my progress over two 2-hour lessons. The gear was in perfect condition and we were given seat harnesses as we had requested. The location had a gradual slope into the water and side onshore winds. Louis is also just a good guy who is interesting to talk to and who shows genuine interest in his client.
Hi, I can fully recommend Horizon Surfing Center. I took private kitesurfing lessons in July 2025 and it was a great learning expirience. All teachers, I got in contact with are skilled and hold international trainer certification from iKO. The team supports each other and their students and there is a good atmosphere. I had Sophia as my trainer and she was doing an amazing job and adapting the learning speed to my current level, so some parts I have completed much faster, other sections we have worked through more intense. All in all, I learned a lot for doing kitesurfing and never felt pushed or bored at any time. Well done Sophia and the Horizon Surfing Center team, love you guys. 🤙🏻

Nice Spot . Wind is coming side-on shore or on shore , sometimes off-shore People are great and friendly Good kite gear Cabrinha I will be back
I did my first kitesurfing lesson with Kitesurfing Kos and had a really good experience. The team is professional and made me feel comfortable as a beginner. What I really liked is they have a loop taxi that takes you out to a quiet area in the water. For the first time I tried the loop taxi, it was honestly a bit scary – just being out there alone in the middle of the sea. But I also got to try when the wind was side shore, and that’s when I realized how different it feels. As a beginner, you can easily make mistakes – and on busy beach days, a lot of people walk along and stop to watch, so you really need to be extra careful not to hit anyone. I started to really appreciate on-shore wind, because out there you have all the space for yourself. It feels calmer, and I could focus better on myself without stressing about hitting people or drifting back to shore too fast. They operate in two spots – Mastichari and Marmari, and if there’s no wind at one, they’ll go to the other. If you don’t have a car and need a ride, you can always ask – they’re flexible and usually find a solution. Sometimes after the session they offer a cold beer while watching the sunset. Nothing fancy, but a nice way to end the day.
I enjoyed kiting with Kitesurfing Kos team a lot. The team is professional and attentive to all the details not only on the water but from the choice of the equipment, starting and landing. These guys can take away your fear and bring your kite experience to a new level! Whether a complete beginner or someone like me who wants to enrich their kite skills! A big thanks to the team, especially Dani and Elias!
Had a great experience at the kite school in Kos. The team running the school is friendly and always does their best to make sure guests are well taken care of. The instructors are skilled, professional, and offer clear, effective guidance for all levels. You can really improve your technique while enjoying a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking to kite in Kos.
What an experience! Lets start from the beginning: Kitesurfing Kos is based both in Mastichari and Marmari (depends on the weather conditions) and can provide you a fully detailed training regarding your first steps in the world of Kite Surfing. Stefan, Dani, Nico and Carlos (the trainers that i had throughout my training sessions) taught me the fundamentals of Kite Surfing, the rules of it, loads of training before you get into the sea (where your trainers are sitting right next to you in order to make you feel safe and relaxed in your session). After you finish with the ground training, you gonna get into the sea with the "taxi boat" which is going to get you to the open sea, where no any other Kites are going to be next to you. During all the sessions all the Trainers provide you and analyze you into the water the tips and tricks on how to get easily on board and encourage you all the time because you are going to have loads of wipe outs! Always with a smile and a professional way, Kitesurfingkos really got me into the sport and i am looking forward for my next solo sessions! Small Tips: 1. All the personnel speak fluently english and german, thus don't even think about any language barriers, you are going to understand EVERYTHING! 2. It doesn't matter if you are intermediate or beginner. If you have a long time to Kite, you better do a small catch up regarding the fundamentals of it. 3. Kitesurfing Kos provides gear not only for the training, but for rentals also. In case you are on the Island and don't have your gear with you, text them and they gonna give you all the necessary info. Lastly, a Huge Thanks to all the Crew of Kitesurfing Kos and i wish all of you fun and safe rides!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The kite centre is great. I came with my own equipment but I saw how the instructors work and they appear professional and friendly at the same time. In addition, who’s in charge is particularly welcoming, which is not necessarily standard in all kite centres I’ve seen over the years. Moreover, when the wind is better on a different spot, they organise the trip to get there and offer assistance on the beach there too. All in all, they do an excellent job.
The instructors are real professionals and super friendly, patient, and flexible with timing. They make sure you feel safe and confident, and they adapt the lessons to your needs. I’ll definitely come back!
Beautiful spot and a great team. The team is extremely committed and helpful and ensures great sessions, regardless of whether you are renting or doing a course. Even when there is light wind, the centre is very welcoming and you get to meet lots of other kiters. Thanks to the fire engine and the stuff members, everything is done to get you on the water. The station is a 12/10.

Fantastic beach beautiful food from George xxxx
It's a good beach if you don't want to pay 10 euros each for a sun bed at koukounarios. Get off at stop 20 on the main Skiathos bus route
The umbrellas here do not stop the sun completely. Some as a super pale easily burning person couldn't stay long. But its perfect if you can handle some sun and want a quit place. The sand road that leads here is not too bad, oir Toyota aygo could handle it perfectly.
Amazing beach with umbrellas and sunbeds, tavernas, and cafes. Swans are the bonus! It's a must!
Its nice beach with natural shade
Not a big beach, not crowded either. There's like 20 umbrellas with sunbeds and a small bar. We paid 5€ for two sunbeds. There's quite a good tavern nearby in 20min walk distance if you are truly hungry. And on this side you can watch and enjoy sunset.
10€ for 2 Sandbeds
Quiet beach with great authentic Greek Food.
