The facility is showing its age nowadays. There is both an indoor and an outdoor pool, sometimes you can use both and sometimes only one of them. The outdoor one is quite large and there were few children playing in the water, thankfully, so it is more suitable for adults who want to swim than the German average, which tends to be basically a Kindergarten with water in it. You do have to be careful with access, however, because Pfronten is only a small place and, in spite of the local rail station, transport links are not many and they end around 5pm.

We did the archery course as a family. The course is listed as starting at 6 years old but honestly it would be very difficult at that age. There were closer shooting lines for kids though. It was a beautiful course through the forest with various animals as 3D targets. Some of the animals were pretty shredded and could be replaced but we also were pretty late in the season. My big complaint is that there were a few river crossings for the course that were a bit difficult. They were doable but while carrying the shooting equipment, they were very difficult to cross. A few bridges would greatly improve the experience.

We had a lot of fun with the different climbing options. Our seven year old was brave enough to do the medium climbs. The hard routes are genuinely hard to do.
